Listen, it's a used computer store. Helpful staff, but take a friend who has some basic computer knowledge if you lack it. For off lease computers, most are in great shape, and most prices are easily negotiable. I Recommend it for anyone wanting something for work or a first time computer for your child.

Buyer beware. Does not allow for returns. My pc performance was subpar and was not able to get a refund. Read the fine print before buying. Try kijiji or FB marketplace.

The salesperson was friendly and the prices were great but I will never shop there again. They told me that my laptop was fully functional with a good battery and genuine Windows etc. licenses, but neither was accurate. I can't leave the laptop unplugged for more than 5 minutes before the battery runs out. I was unable to load Windows updates, and eventually received a warning message on my laptop that its license was NOT genuine. After all the costs and issues, I would have been much better off buying a new but cheap laptop. If you are buying something from them, be sure to completely test the battery and obtain ALL documentation including the license keys for the operating system and all applications.

This store has reasonably priced, used computers. They have monitors, keyboards, cpu and the qhole works. They also do computer repairs and have a few accessories for computer and electronics that's new inside. I got a 4 gig ram 500 gig hard drive , windows 10 pro used cpu. The customer service was good and got what I came in for.

As someone who has worked on various computers new and old alike for 8 years in my spare time and learned tons, this guy knows what he's doing. His shop is small but very tidy, highly aware of covid precautions, he is open and honest about when you ask what kind of work he does to refurbish said machines, you may see the odd machine selling with a defect but it's discounted and very well explained when he does as well as rare to see. Very reasonable pricing even for the gaming hardware he sells too! I came into his shop looking for a laptop after my old beater finally ran into a power issue I was done hunting down constantly and so far that laptop has been rock solid! The worst I've found is minor cosmetic defects from previous usage and one driver bug specific to the model I chose which didn't take much to resolve at all. Would certainly support this guy again!

Bought a laptop from here on Boxing Day. I was told when I bought it that I'd have 14 days to return it. Service is great, until they have your money. I tried to return it today (January 6) because it isn't doing what I purchased it to do. I was offered a credit or exchange, neither of which I want. Now I have to try and sell this laptop privately or take it to another electronics store to recoup my loss.

This computer store counts on it's customers not being very tech savvy since it reveals that they are not either. I was sold computer that had been corrupted and it became apparent when I had to reboot in order to in order to alter the admin password (they set a 'blank' password field and the corrupted OS wasn't able to compute this). They did offer to fix this but I opted to reset the admin myself via terminal myself not eager to let them tamper with the broken OS anymore than they already had. I also bought a PC off of them which had trouble running certain files but I chalked it up to it's age. However, it's become obvious the people who run this place are VERY inept and consistently load corrupted OS' on their computers. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING OF THESE PEOPLE.

The best iphone repair service in the area. I cracked my iphone when I went to geese hunting. I were informed by the guy called Ryan there are some mud and water drop inside the phone and he already done the cleaning and drying for me when I go grab my phone. Thanks for doing it instead of just let me keep using, or I will need to pay extra for the mother board repairing.

I contacted the gentleman that owns this business last week about building a spec'd gaming rig, The reply was instant and after a couple of recommendations by him we agreed on a build list that he would assemble at a very fair price. The gaming desktop was built in less than a week and it worked right out of the box. This rig shreds games. If you are thinking of buying a gaming PC, check this guy out first before you buy online or from a big box store. Great job and would highly recommend this business.

To be clear, I am not critiquing Uniway Computers as a whole and the brand itself. The staff are friendly, their prices can be reasonable, and they even threw in a free mouse and semi mechanical keyboard into our bundle when we had gotten our second PC. But am only leaving our own experience at this 8th street location specifically for not only selling selling us a faulty computer that had to be repaired by them once already in the first month that we got it. But also selling us the wrong power supply for the other computer that we had gotten from their other location on Quebec Ave (more on that later). To start when we had first gotten our second PC from them at this location for the first time, we had set it up and everything was working perfectly fine for the first week, but then two weeks later when we had tried turning the computer on, nothing would display on the monitor and even though the computer itself would turn on, the monitor wouldn't display anything. So we brought the computer in to them and had them fix it because it was still within our warranty period. And after we had gotten it fixed we went home and the PC is still working to this day. But even though we had gotten it fixed, for some reason one of the USB ports on the PC just straight up stopped working once they had actually fixed the PC (and recently the USB ports on the back have been acting up as well, with occasional disconnections happening randomly when we are actually using the PC itself, and it's only been about a year since we got it). But the part that we are most disappointed about is when we had actually brought our first PC (that we had bought from their other Quebec Ave location) to this 8th street location to have them fix it due to what we later found out to be a faulty power cable and not a broken power supply fan. They had told us that the power supply fan was broken. So because we hadn't figured out yet that it was actually just the power cable and not the power supply fan that needed replacing, we decided to get it replaced. But when they were replacing it, they had told us that they were going to be replacing our old power supply with a new Corsair PSU for around 130 CAD. So when had gotten it, we opened up the PC and actually found out they sold us a Segotep unit instead of a Corsair unit (which in the PC world is a considerable difference in quality as Corsair PSU units usually ship with high quality Japanese capacitors compared to what I'm assuming are mid tier Chinese capacitors as Segotep is a Chinese company).
