My work laptop decided to overheat and not work on a Saturday. Without hesitation these guys were able to take a look at it and were able to have it back to me later that day. Recently got my MacBook repaired. Super fast and super professional service. I did call a few other companies in Regina but the kind of quote they gave me was super high and I was thinking of buying a new one. I was getting the question mark folder on the start up screen. Called rescue tech and they explained in details some of the potential issues and also gave a quote for them that was way cheaper than the other guys. Most importantly I got my MacBook back the same day as it is critical for me due to working from home. Highly recommend these guys. 5+ stars.

My laptop hinge broke and needed a quick fix as I am a university student doing classes online. The service itself was very quick, only taking a weekend, and customer service was great! If I ever have any tech problems in the future, I will definitely be coming back!

Robert is genuine and generous. I had an issue of charging port in my laptop, basically the charger could not connect to charge the battery. The port was loose and sometimes i could see the spark when i connect the charger. When i checked their google rating, I called at their office number and came to know that the issue can lead to a lot of problems for my laptop. Dropped my laptop at their repair shop and he mentioned clearly the cost(labour cost 80$ per hour, extra $ for parts)and expenses i may have to pay. Being international student in regina i am very careful with my expenses. Then after 2 days i got a call from robert and he repaired my laptop at half the cost he mentioned. I would highly recommend them since they are honest and expert in repairing laptops. Thanks :)

I was charged $111 for a problem that returned back 2 days after I got my laptop from the shop. We agreed that they will inspect the laptop and let me know what is wrong with it. 2 days later, he phoned me and told me it needs a factory reset to eradicate the malware and this will cost $180. I told him i will talk to my wife and call him back. Me and my wife decided not to waste $180 on fixing it as we can do it cheaper somewhere else and i did not call him back because i did not tell him to do what he did. I was ready to get it back not fixed and pay the diagnostic $40. They decided to run a USELESS cleaning process of the laptop which i will never ask for becuz i know it is USELESS and then they charge me $111. Just a waste of time and money.

After noobing around to recover data from my old hdd for days( possibly months), I gave up and got these guys to help me recover three years worth of photos . This goes without saying, they’re pretty knowledgeable and were able to really get majority of the files after trying various recovery techniques and always kept me in loop . Their services are very reasonably priced too.

I had taken my computer in to rescue tech roughly a year ago. I have a Mac book and the hard drive needed to be replaced. I paid for the service and replacement of the drive and upon taking my computer home it immediately failed and would not start-I went back multiple times to resolve the issue and each time I was told it was fixed the exact same thing happened. Eventually I was fed up and outsourced to another repair shop who referred me to London drugs east as they are actually Apple certified. My computer was fixed immediately. The hard drive rescue tech installed for me has failed less than a year later, so I took it to London drugs once again. I called rescue tech and they offered me nothing and just brushed me off when explaining the hard drive I paid them to install failed. The tech at London drugs mentioned that the hard drive that they installed looked like it was used and had writing all over it, which basically sounded like they used an old drive even though I paid for a new one. Terrible service and a exceptional waste of my time, money and energy. Moral of the story, go somewhere else.

Our curser disappeared on our Toshiba laptop with Windows 10. We tried internet suggestions about retrieving the curser to no avail. We called 'X'' where we bought it. The technician was out, they said. We said we live 1 1/2 hours out of town, could they take a look within a working day. They said we could drop the laptop off and they would get to it in a day or two, their technician was very busy. They thought it would have to be sent away to be fixed. We explained we were really in need of our computer because we are writing a book. That did not change anything. Then we called a chain store (computers, iPhones, etc.) location and were told we were looking at a $69 diagnostics fee and probably the laptop would have to be sent to BC to be fixed. Then we called Rescue Tech, who saved our day. The person we talked to asked some details about our laptop and then walked us through a couple of simple steps and, bingo, the curser was back. Well done ! Very professional and helpful ! We will drop by to deliver a homemade cake ! (We are writing a cookbook !). We will get our future requirements in computer matters from Rescue Tech ! These guys are awesome. They took my custom gaming pc that I have been having problems with every other company right away vs having to wait atleast 3 days for anyone else to even take time to look at. Not only that but they got the right diagnostic and solved my issues in one day. The owner even stayed late on a Friday to make sure I got my computer back that day, not only that the prices are far better then anyone else you will take your computer to. I took my laptop in as it was acting up, randomly shutting down and I had no idea as I am not computer knowledgeable. They explained in detail what was wrong with it, told me what was needed to get it running well again and gave me the price for repairs which was very reasonable. Just called the service rep to ask about my computer. Probably one of the nicest service reps I've talked to. Worked through my issue with me and helped me understand their fee structure and service process. I've called about four other shops in the city that have all received high ratings on Google reviews and was very disappointed by the customer service (long on-hold times, not picking up during work hours, unprofessional employees). It's super important to me to trust the people I am leaving my computer with (after all it has all of my personal information on it). This place seems very good. I will be using their service.

I had an amazing experience with RescueTECH...I was doing my own RAM upgrade in a new Mac Mini and the fan socket detached from the motherboard. After visiting a few websites in the area and reading reviews, it was clear that this was my best shot, and I received the same type of care and service that was described in other comments. Fixed it properly, fair price....MUCH cheaper than dealing with Apple directly would have been, as Apple very quickly washed their hands of it because of me the end user doing their own upgrade. RescueTECH really saved my bacon, and I would definitely use them again. Very professional staff! Well done!
