I went there to exchange/return a defective product. There was none in stock so I was given a refund. No problem. I was told I could go to a kiosk they had in the store and order online and have it delivered to the store. (Apparently staff are unable to do this.) I go to the kiosk and find myself standing in front of a LARGE monitor in the main aisle of the store. As I input the required personal information it is coming up on the monitor for anyone in the main aisle or even anyone outside looking in the window to see. Ironically there's a small icon on the screen that says my information is secure. lol I talked to a staff member that it should be mentioned to a manager to possibly relocate or somehow ensure privacy.( i.e. A small screen.) I was informed only head office could make this decision. So, I came home and ordered it online which means I can't get it delivered to Staples only to my home address. The good news is that if I'm having to order online anyway, I'm not limited to shopping at Staples although I prefer to spend my money locally.

Always a very professional, friendly and fast service. I order online & do curb-side pickup. They says the order will be ready within 2h but it’s always faster than that. Once there, all you have to do is pick a parking spot, call, show I.D., they put the order in there trunk of your car and that’s it!

Wouldn't honour their clearly posted price match policy. First the manager tried a made up price match policy that only included a 3 named retailers. She talked through an employee by never to me directly. When I explained their price match policy included all Canadian retailers the employee played "back and forth" between me and the manager trying to build a case for charging me shipping, when the competitor clearly stated free shipping. Pretty disappointed. I went to London drugs and they matched prices, honoring their own policy without trickery or a fight.

We went to Kingston staples last night to get a jump dr for the phone they had 20 of them. But the fella that was helping us said he had none. We pre ordered the card in brockville that had 30 of them. The young girl had a hard time finding it so I spent a good 20 minutes for her to find it.

I bought a chromebook less then 3 months ago and it won't charge or turn on anymore. I brought it back to Staples yesterday and I was told it would be shipped to Acer Burnaby where it would be fixed or replaced. I got a call today saying it would not be shipped and I have to pay for shipping. This company has no customer service and they will now also lose my printing business as well. A few $100 in the last year. Do not shop here or deal with these people. I am a 42 year McMurray resident and I have never had a product that was not handled by or replaced when broken in such new condition. NEVER SHOP HERE.

I ordered ink for my canon printer on Tuesday and it arrived at my door this morning, Thursday. Very impressed. I was going to order ink from another large retailer in town where I buy groceries etc but the ordering system is ridiculous and they've been out of stock of the ink I need for a few months. Love this store. Variety of collection. Steps away from Canadian Tire, Walmart, Rona and other stores. Staffs are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Bought HD for MacBook. It took sometime for staffs to bring the product from storage. So many staffs offered help during wait time. Product price is reasonable. There are parking including disables parking, for customers. Store is neat and clean. Recommend others to try this store.

Not impressed. Waiting in line at the print shop, I had to wait for the employee to try to fix equipment, find another employee, to watch the other employee try to fix the equipment. The cashier I asked to help me, passed me off to wait for the employees to finish watching the other employee. They couldn't fix it either. Bad customer service.

I'd give ZERO stars but I can't. Where should I start? From the beginning I think. I ordered 3 5x7 prints online for same day pick up on 01/08. I anticipated delays due to current conditions. On 01/11 I emailed their customer service..whats up with my order? On 01/12 Maria Chiarella emailed me back apologizing. She stated that she had instructed this location to contact me. Great I thought. On the 13th, 24 hours after receiving her email, I emailed her back that I have heard nothing. No Reply from her. Sooo, I got busy. I emailed Stefan L Kaluzny, CEO of Staples. Guess what? No response from anyone !! It's been over 24 hours. So long story short. I've paid for these prints. My Visa has been charged. I get no communication regarding my order. Customer Service does not respond. The CEO or his staff do not respond Worst Customer Service Ever and....they basically took my money and gave me nothing in return. Avoid this company is my advice, not trustworthy.

Went there to print a few things from my email. Internet connection was SO slow that I ended up paying almost $20 for something that could have been done in less than 5 mins. They charge .30 cents a minute for internet use. I printed 6 pages which cost $1 each. $6 for print and the rest was just for waiting for the files to download. ugh.

Reserved a laptop online to pick up curb side, drove 45 minutes specifically for this purchase as I will not shop at the Summerside location. After paying for the item I received confirmation that it was paid and reserved and that it would be ready in 2 hours for pick up and would receive an email when to go. I had then waited 2 hours and no email, finally decided to go to the store after two and half hours to be told that the order was cancelled as they do not have the product. I understand that online may not be 100% accurate with the inventory BUT when the order was CANCELLED I should have received an email confirming that the order was cancelled which over 24 hours later and still have not received my money back or the confirmation that it was cancelled. Told the employee I want confirmation as this company has already fu**ed me around, he 'checked' the computer and said he can not print it out to go online and check there. All I can say is a big FU** this company!

So I bought a cheaper action camera here on boxing day. Literally the first thing that happened was that one of the buttons gets stuck under the plastic frame. Took it back and I hear "I shouldn't even refund this, it's physically damaged." Yeah. Because it's poorly made. Got store credit, fine, but if you're going to sell lower quality stuff, be prepared for returns.

I think this is probably the best location on the island. I went there to buy a tablet and I probably had four employees asked me if I needed help. They were friendly, courteous and very attentive. Unfortunately they were sold out of the tablet I wanted but called the Courtney location and got them to put it on hold for me. Giving 4 stars only because it took forever.

Had an urgent request (large print job) as Purolator had lost a very important document that had to be somewhere before 1 p.m. today. This dessert is called Panna Cotta which is a vanilla infused with passion fruit. I got it at the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at Vancouver Airport. The lounge provides a private, serene escape from the bustle of airport activity. Decor definitely needs a facelift, and very few food options. This dessert would be the only one that enjoy.

Awful customer service while picking up business supplies. Product not stocked on shelves, workers around not willing to help. Had to lift overstock boxes and open stock boxes myself. Resulted in a box cut on my finger. As employees stood around gossiping about others, or walked by, not asking if I needed assistance. Upon checking out, I put oversized items on the counter at the front to pick up ink. They had time to take my items and return them to the shelves. Voicing my frustration at the checkout, with the manager present. There was no inquiry or regard for my disgruntled experience. Will be taking our business elsewhere.

(Translated) The staff are super nice and helpful but the manager really is. On Dec 10, 2021 I entered the store at 7:50 pm it closed at 8:00 pm. I was harassed by the Manager every 30 seconds he came to see me to tell me we are closing in xx minutes. Subsequently at 8:00 p.m. he asked his team to close the cash desks, telling me that they must come home. I was there for printing and a fax. he didn't let the girl finish her fax and had to give up under the pressure he was putting on them. I was very frustrated it was not my fault to be able to enter the store a few minutes before closing. You might as well close the doors 10 minutes beforehand rather than suffer such humiliation from customers. The employees were watching the scene while the Manager kicked me right out ... What a frustration..It is intimidating. he stood in front of the door, gesturing for me to come out. I have always bought my printers from Stables..I will never go there ... Visited them for standard photo prints, took them a good 40 mins just to print 2 photos. The photos came out washed, on a flimsy paper and not to size. They actually had to cut the sides of the photo to make it a standard size. I would never recommend Staples for standard photo prints.

Went shopping for a computer last week and visited 2 stores. The first store down the street had ok prices, but the employees were nowhere to be found when i needed help (they rarely are at that store). Got sick of that and went to Staples (would've went there first,but was shopping with someone else who wanted to go to the other place first). Walked in to Staples and wasn't there 5 minutes before i had someone come to help (ultimately had 3 sales associates over the entire time i was looking, but neither of them seemed "pushy", just friendly and genuinely wanting to help me). And while i was waiting for one of the employees to get my computer, i even had a fourth person at the cash register ask if i was waiting for somebody to help me, haha! Prices were almost exactly the same as the other store, and made a good purchase thanks to being able to have my questions answered about one of the features. Even got some useful info about the antivirus software (and it was on sale, woot!). Have never been disappointed with my purchases at this store (and location). :)

Dishonest and manipulative corporation and employees. I made a purchase online and after 4 weeks I received a totally different item (From a standing 4-face sliding white board to a wall mount 1 face small white board). I went to the store right away and the employee there confirmed that the item I received is not the item I ordered, so she said that the procedure is to return it and order another one instead of replacing it. So, she printed out the return paper work and gave me to sign it, and then went to put the order online and (voila) the item Discontinued. Then the customer (company) service employee advised me to order it from Amazon. I got my money back to my credit card which I already paid its balance. I lost my time and my right in my purchase and I felt tricked. They should be committed to fulfill their part of the trade not to trick the customers with no appreciation for their time and rights.

I go there mainly for my printing and stationary accessories. I have never been dissapointed since I have been visiting the store. There are always varieties of accessories you are looking for and this makes it more easier to make choices. Not to be overlooked is the fair prices of their items and the candor of their staff in recommending what is the best for the customers. There was a time I wanted to purchase cartridge for my printer. I picked the ones that are very expensive, Thanks to one of their staff who told me that the ones I picked are being used by the companies who do a lot of printing. That simple advice saves me a huge sum of dollars. It's a nice place to be.

This is the one place that I always get stuck having to buy things from, due to lack of local options, and its always a mess when I do. Almost every visit, they have to send someone to the back to see if an item is in stock, they don't know who is who, or who can find what. The place is a mess in the way of being organized or efficient. Can't say much for their staff knowledge either, or lack thereof. I have had staff tell me product details that were right off the wall and horribly wrong. Never ask their advice on computer products, that's all I can say. On a final note, if you find something on sale here, just go to The Source instead, they are very likely cheaper!

I absolutely love shopping at Staples, they have amazing prices, we went there in search of headphones for my brother, when we got there we found that the headphones was cheaper at an online retailer and then the staff at Staples informed us that they can try to beat any online prices which means got the headphones for the same price as online and we didn't have to wait for delivery. I couldn't get a refund for a webcam I bought here cause the serial number on the webcam doesn't match the serial number on its box. This is of course a manufacturer's mistake, but even so I have been denied further assistance at the store. In addition, an employee named Lok told me that the mistake was mine (hinting that I was a scammer) and threatened to ban me and my boyfriend from Staples. Poorest customer service I have ever seen in my life. Hopefully there will be a personnel change soon.

Wanted to buy a tablet for my daughter, found the one that I wanted but not a salesperson to be found. I set off the display alarm while picking up one of the tablets, it took 5 minutes for someone to come turn it off. Turns out the person that turned it off isn't allowed to sell in that area. Eventually I called a different store and made a purchase through them. They put the tablet aside at the front desk, I walked in paid for the item and walked out. Whatever sales model this store uses is not working, if you don't have customer service you won't have sales, especially with items not stocked on the shelf. Overall I'm incredibly disappointed with this location.

Don,t like the way extended warranties are written on the receipt. You pay for an extended warranty only to find out this is not. I paid an extra 19 .95 and the agent said I had an extra years warranty but guess what the big boss said no warranty and she didn't, know who sales number it was that sold the chair well over 300.00 dollars and she was not going to look. Watch for extended warranty at Staples. The Best Buy always write the date for the warranty to expire

I have experienced very unfortunate situation today. I thought I should share it with you. I went to Staples at 655 University Ave with my friend today because he needed to get his picture clicked for IRCC(Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada). It is required by IRCC that photo should be stamped by the person who click it at the backside as a proof. But they gave us very unprofessional customer service when they told us that they can't sign it. The agent put a stamp at the back of the photo but refused to signature. We told her that if she couldn't do it then she can ask her Manager. Manager was very rude and refused to sign it, and walked away. Below is the picture with stamp. You can clearly see the column for sign which they refused to fill. Very Rude and UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Very bad experience with print shop and manager. We called in advance to have three copies made of one document. We were told they would do it while we wait. When we got there they refused saying they had orders and they did everything in line. They said that was always their policy whereas we had not experienced that previously. None of the copy machines were active. There was no one else in the store. It was 8 50 in the morning and yet they still did not want the business. We will not return. The lady in the copy area claimed she was new and the manager we spoke with was definitely not new. He was not helpful or sympathetic to our needs. We departed Staples, went to The UPS Store, and our needs were satisfactorily fulfilled. .

TLDR; Lloyd is an awesome Employee. Give the man a raise. We had a hiccup with our online order for store pickup When we went to go get the item it wasn't ready. I had a little bit of a freak out but the manager Lloyd helped us back get through it. He called the people in charge of approving the transaction and was on the phone for 30 minutes trying to figure out why the order wasn't approved and sent to the store. In the end the reason was because I was a first time in store pickup from Staples so it takes a lot longer to approve. I felt terrible that I got nasty even though I knew it wasn't Lloyd's fault and I had to apologize. Lloyd went above and beyond to get us a resolution and he remained super courteous and professional through all of it. We always go to Staples over Best Buy for the customer service. Staples always does right by us.

They have products displayed on their shelves but are apparently out of stock of most items. Went to buy a video card and the box was on the shelf, I take it to the check out the staff member there goes to the back of store to retrieve the item and there's none left. I asked for the store manager to ask if I could get a rain check or something like that, but the manager doesn't think he has to do anything, hes rude and says it's not his responsibility to make sure his store has been properly merchandised and the shelves are stocked with actual product they have in stock and not just the empty box. I wouldn't ever shop here if I had to. Hopefully your experience is better.

need a new office chair for home use .. they must have revamped this part of the store. way better display of chairs. lots on sale. i did however have a question but that area of the store is often without staff (computer section usually has two people). someone finally did come along and answered my question! chair was on sale (just under $150 before tax). easy to assemble. lots of adjustments. rolls really smooth.

Went down with my mom after christmas 2013 to purchase a new computer desk. After looking around and then waiting patiently for one of the staff to be free to help us, we decided to purchase a 200.00 desk and a matching 170.00 table/shelf set. It is important to note that while looking we noticed that the desk we were going to choose had two copies built on the display floor, and there was only 1 unopened box at the time of purchase. We were driving the Corolla and learned that the Staples in Fort McMurray is the ONLY STAPLES IN CANADA that doesn't offer any delivery service...so we had to arrange to pick up our items in the next couple of days when we could borrow a truck. They assured us that this happened all the time and that they would put our objects in the back with our names on them. Over the next 2 days I attempt to call Customer Service/The Electronics/Furniture departments, and consistently I got no answer. 8, 10, 11, 1, 3....Doesn't matter when you call. Finally someone as customer service answers the phone and they say they will transfer me....the line goes dead. Finally on the third day after we paid almost 400.00 for a desk and table, I am able to return with a truck. I find a clerk in the furniture department, and I tell him my name and what desk and table I bought and that I am here to pick it up. For the next hour the clerk is randomly looking around the store...in the back, between shelves...etc. I begin to suspect the worst...that they didn't put my name on the desk at all and sold it to someone else. I asked if that could have happened and the clerk assured me that there was no way that could have happened. I suggested that he check the computer to see if there was any record of a transaction AFTER mine, where that desk was purchased....as there was only one box of it when I purchased mine...it would be natural to assume that if there was a transaction after mine then the store RESOLD product that they had already received payment for. Sure enough....The Fort McMurray Staples accepted payment from me for my desk and table on January 5th, and sold another copy of that desk to someone else on January 6th. I complained to the manager...naturally..and the clerk offered a suggestion. He said that earlier that very same day...he had built a second copy of that desk in the showroom, and that it was brand new out of the box and I could take it home as is. When I asked to see the desk he indicated he built earlier that very same day, he gestured to a built version of the desk on the display floor, which I recognized as one of the desks I saw on the floor 3 days prior when I purchased one. IN fact the display model even had dust on it...odd for something he indicated to a customer with a straight face he put together himself just hours earlier. If you enjoy being lied too, calling a phone number for assistance that will never be answered, not having the option of delivery, potentially having your product sold to someone else before you can pick it up, and waiting 15 minutes or more just for a sales rep to notice you need help...then this store is definitely the one for you!

My heart could not be more full! I went to Staples this evening to pick up emergency subject folders for my students. My list was long with a specific style and multiples of each colour. The staff went the extra mile to unpack the boxes that they had just used to take down their back-to-school folder display. They helped me find the style I was looking for and the amounts I needed. Had a completely horrible experience. I had my year old Macbook Pro sent to their repair depot and it was returned to me (after a month) unprepared, so I had it sent back again for a new repair estimate and was quoted over $1600 for a new logic board (more than the price of the computer). I was told that after it was sent back the first time Staples would cover the cost of the repair as it wasn't repaired the first time, and they backed out once finding what it would cost, and I was called a liar by the manager and told it was my issue to deal with, and they wouldn't own up to anything. I went to Apple and they looked at it and told me all it would cost is $13 plus labor for a power cord that was clearly damaged. Extremely displeased with the service I got and will not be back, and I will pass my experience onto those who ask me.

Highly disappointed with the service I received this evening. When waiting at the service desk I had multiple employees look at me but no assistance, after 5 minutes a women comes over and I’m asking about the self printing station. I had called earlier in the day learning about the station and was told I could pay when I was done the service. The printing station only uses credit card and you must insert the card to start the service. You are able to use a gift card but I wasn’t sure how much the total would be not seeing a price list at the station. With going back to the service desk I was told I’d have to wait in line to buy the gift card but there was only 3 minutes left before closing, one lane open 5 works and 7 people on the line up. Doing the math it would not give enough time to then use the station. I would definitely not recommend going to do your printing business at this staples especially if you are a college student.

Bought computers from this store over the last few years. First computer was a refurbished HP Slimline runnning windows XP. computer ran fine for the first 4 months before it started to run extremely slow for no reason, even after extra RAM was added. Eventually the computer stopped going into standby mode and eventually entered what now realize was a boot loop, which could only be remedied by a factory reset. The second was a Toshiba laptop that lasted about 8 years, the only major issues i had with it was that the battery wore out fast and had to be sent away, followed by the charger dying 2 weeks after i got the laptop back. Then 3 years after i got the laptop, the CMOS battery died. Staples wanted to run diagnostics and other services instead of replacing the CMOS battery. They said it was a motherboard issue and that the battery was sautered into place(it wasn't, it was a clip type), and urged me to buy a new laptop as it was cheaper (it wasn't). More recently, they renovated the store, making it much smaller and stock levels smaller. It's near impossible to get anyone on the phone. I've been calling since late October/ early November for questions in regards to their products and for class assignments where we have to interview people in the IT industry to get information we need to complete the assignments. Calling 5 times in an hour to get no response is ridiculous . Recently I went to Staples to buy a laptop for school with money from a laptop grant, and they only had 2 of the HP laptop i wanted in stock. The first was refurbished but they wouldn't drop the price like they used to, or their on floor model which while sightly dinged, had a charging problem with the battery. They stated that they weren't ordering anymore in and that if i wanted a brand new one I'd have to wait 2 weeks for the laptop to be sent away to have the battery replaced and returned, being warned that with the approaching Black Friday sales and Christmas, it could take longer. They assured me that there was no issue with the refurbished machine so i asked to test it before i decided. Right from the get go it was acting weird and very very slow. I took my business elsewhere and got a better laptop. Spoke to a manager yesterday about a call back i never got. I stated that i had called 3 hours prior and i was told i'd be called back and that i had called 5 times before the manager picked up the phone. She stated that people were in the IT room and that there was no excuse for No one picking up the phone. The IT manager was in the office and was able to take my call after being transferred (he's an awesome guy). TL;DR their customer service is great in store, but be wary of any refurbished machines and make sure if it's refurbished, that they drop the price. You're going to have problems getting someone on the phone too.

Not helpful to say the least. A further experience calling staff at this location two weeks later for a different request resulted in a similar experience. I just had the worst customer service inside of Staples Campbell River Branch. I went to the printing center to get 32 black and white pages printed to then be told to go to the cashier to get a giftcard due to the fact i only had a debit. And not a credic card. She didn't know how much it would be to print 32 pages but knew that it was $0.12 per page to print. So I ended up doing the math for her and multiplying .12 * 32 to get a total of $3.84. I told her that total then she then asked me to go back to the back of the line so that she could help the next customer and that she would help me with the card once I get to the counter again. After I had already waited in line and got to the counter to talk to her. If you ask me this the worst customer service I've ever had in my life!

I recently put together an anniversary calendar for my step-daughter and her husband. I trusted Staples with the printing process and was not disappointed in the resultant product. An associate by the name of Bridgett, was very helpful and patient in my particular requests with respect to the calendar finalization. She has come to my rescue on several occasions, where calendars are concerned and her expertise and customer service skills, were second to none. I went to Staples early this afternoon to get some Same/Next Day printing done. I waited patiently for an associate to be ready to help me. When they were available I told them that I was hoping to get some same day photos printed and they led me to a kiosk to start an order. They asked if I had a USB drive and I said no, I was told that I would need a USB drive. So, I purchased a USB drive, confirmed with the associate that it would be acceptable, and drove home on the other side of town. I had no issues transferring the photos to the drive, got in the car and drove back. I once again waited patiently for an associate to be ready to help me. The original associate that I had spoken with was busy fulfilling someone else's order so I was eventually helped by someone else. This associate led me to yet another kiosk to help me, and I mentioned again that I needed Same/Next Day photos printed. They set me up and returned to their workstation while I followed through the prompts on screen and when I arrived at the page to upload I was given the option to upload from various social media platforms as well as Google Drive. This was no big deal, I had wasted some time but that was a small error, no worries there. At worst I had spent some money on a USB I would never use again. As soon as I got to this step the second associate returned to me and told me that his associate said that there was no way to accommodate even Next Day printing for me, and that they we absolutely backed up in their print queue. This second associate was very helpful and suggested a locally owned print shop where I was helped in a matter of seconds and all communication was clear and honest from the very start. So, to summarize: I tried to print some photos at Staples, was given incorrect information on how to get what I needed, was given further incorrect information about their capacity to print photos wasting about 2 hours of my time, only to be sent to a shop within a 5 minute walk of home that had no problems helping me out in a matter of minutes.

I work at Canadian tire across the parking lot and while we are building back the store the head manager from staples where yelling at our gate security about staff parking in the lot, note that we park back along the end of rows and try not to interfere with anyone who is trying to shop at staples, well anyways he has threatened to tow people who park, it wouldn't be so bad but they only decided it was an issue as the snow is coming down and has caused us to park really far away in the cold. Contract was VERY different from what he verbally stated the computer services were. Total waste of time, rude and dishonest. I got 3 in one ACER PC from this store with hardware defects. I returned to them after a couple of months of using and had been fixed/changed with new motherboard. But again, after a months of using, the screen went black. I returned the PC immediately to the store. It took 3 months for them to call me back for pick up. When I opened the box, I noticed a cracked on one side of the monitor. I returned to them again to let them check. After a month they called to inform me that they have sent it for repair and trying to find same kind of monitor. I was waiting for so long, but it's worth because they have replaced my defective computer into NEW UPDATED 3-in-one PC ACER. To mentioned, I did not purchased any insurance warranty when I bought it. I just rely on the 1 year Acer PC manufacturer's warranty. I am so glad with their service. Staples, thank you so much for this newly thawed ACER 3-in-one PC.

The manager accused him of switching the speakers out with an old one; even though we haven't purchased anything from staples in months and would not take it back. Not only is it offensive that he accused my husband of doing such a thing but he was very rude. We offered to show bank records, receipt and everything and they won't return it. So now we are stuck with a $150 POS speaker. Worst part is, the manager is the one that sold him the speaker in the first place and acknowledged that the speaker was white. I was a retail sales manager for years and not once did I treat or accuse anyone of such a thing without undeniable proof that the customer was trying to pull a fast one. Supposedly the speaker had a little bit of dirt on it. If I could give less then one star, I would. We are contacting head office to see what can be done.

This store is terrible.... maybe try turning your phone ringers on or stop offering curbside pickup. On four occasions over the past week I have had orders for pick up with no one answering the phone, forcing wro go in. There was nobody in the store, empty! When the associate went to get my order I could see the phone light flashing but no ringing. That explains why no one is answering the phone. Then an elderly woman with a cane camw in talking about how she couldn't get through on the phone and would have appreciated someone bringing her order out. I have been using staples for years for many services. One being purchasing office supplies. The latest printer we bought was taped up at the top. I requested another one but was guaranteed the tape was just for a broken box. The printer was defective. Wouldn't turn on and function properly. Return it. Given another one, same printer. That one also doesn't work. At this time I am ready to go to Best Buy. They show me another one, help me take some money off, again guaranteeing 100% this one will work... get that one home and it also doesn't work. Also defective, the cord port is loose. Was told I would be getting a call today to pick up my new one. No one has called and when I finally called AND GOT THROUGH to someone they advised me it wasn't there. I have never bought a printer anywhere else but this is a bit much.

bought a lab top and they were going to charge me extra 50$ for turning it on i told them i could do that myself not a problem. but then they told me the only ones they had were ones that were turned on and that if i wanted it i would have to pay the 50$ charge. told them its a 1000$ laptop im sure you guys wont miss out to much. ended up not haveing to pay it but the employees were nice management wasn't so nice. spent over 2 hours dealing with this when it would have only took 15 mins. still best spot in town to get what i wanted other stores would have had to order it in. plan to go back for other things i need but only because there the only place that have stock out for you to see hope its better next time. also if anything happens to this laptop will they fallow threw on replacement plan. over all not the worse but deff not the best Edit. Been back sence with my new phone and got that liquid shield screen protecter. Wouldn't have gotten it if it wasn't for the cashier ended up handing over my phone with out a scratch on the screen and got it back with like 20 scratches on it but the manager of that department redone the prosses and cam back looking like it should altho a month later the screen has cracked in bottom corners after doing some research this happens a lot and the shield is not recommended your better off dealing with the plastic or glass ones off the shelf. But over all the manager of the tech department has a really good head on her shoulders and knows how to make the customer happy glad they have her.

Terribly sad and frustrated at the bad service received by my Mother-In-Law. She is 74 years old and needs one page printed (a boarding pass to take a flight). We sent an online order to be printed (we are out of the province and she does not have the ability to use or bring in a flash drive. We ordered same day printing and ordered before 12pm) and she drove to go pick it up. The customer service rep refused to print it for her because the online order is in a "queue" and they cannot bump her to the front of the line... It's literally one page and she is flying out tomorrow. Very sad that they were not willing to help her print one page out. We will not be using any printing services at staples going forward. Printing one page would take about .02 seconds of his time. He was standing at the counter not doing anything when she showed up. Cannot believe this.

When you list your phone number on Google you should be prepared to answer the phone. I have been trying to call for the last 15 minutes and I have been cycled through the voice automated answering machine 4 times - I have tried each department and still no one picked up. The level of customer service here is appalling - never have I been in there where 2 or more associates are chatting or simply putting away stock, don't feed me the automated line that they are serving customers in the store. The phone is ringing - I am surprised that the manager on duty did not direct someone to pick up the phone. Disgusting Staples Brantford - you're level of customer service is disgusting.

Went to return 4 pens bought in a pack a week ago for $5.99. They did not write. I did not have the receipt. I only wanted a store credit and some decent pens. I brought up the package from the store rack to verify the price.. $5.99. I was told I could only have a credit for the value in their computer. That value was 1 cent. My computer unexpectedly died making the prospect of working from home the next day impossible. I did a quick spot of research online for what computer options they had in store and then whipped over and took a look. (this was the might before the 3rd lock-down). I was just in the Chatham store with my son. He is 20 and has autism. He was looking for flash drives and we were approached by Nicholas. He was very helpful and told us which he would recommend. My son has autism but was very talkative today. It wasn't all about the flash drives and would seem random to most people because they wouldn't see the connection in his mind. Nicholas was super. He listened to Adam and conversed with us both with an easy, comfortable style. Those 5 minutes he spent talking to my son ( who doesn't get a lot of chances to see or talk to people near his age these days ) made a great impression on both of us and my son declared the visit a success. We will be returning soon to look for laptops and we will definitely be looking for Nicholas to help us!

Same prices as Amazon, better with the discounts codes they always email, and no prime fees. Customer service skills not great! I ordered an item 3 weeks prior to Christmas and prepaid for it. I was told at the time that it should be in before Christmas. I understand they are not in full control of these things but I went in last night to check to see about it, as I haven't heard anything and a manger happened to be standing there when I asked the cashier. The manager looked at me and said we haven't seen them yet and I mentioned I was told I would have it for Christmas and she just looks at me and say "well, it isn't Christmas yet". She wouldn't make the effort at all to look to see if there is an ETA or anything. Very disappointed!

I've worked in graphic design and print for over 10 years now. I decided to get Staples to print a photo for me as I didn't have access to a printer at the time (due to Covid). I first got the staff to print the photo for me (in house at my local store) to which the colours came washed out and the blacks crushed. I then tried to contact them about this with. I didn't hear anything for a couple weeks so I sent another inquiry. While still waiting for an answer on both inquiries, I then proceeded to use the professional print team instead (where they will print the document and then ship it to your local store vs the local store printing themselves) to see if this would be an improvement. It was, but only VERY minimally and was still unsatisfactory. I then contacted Staples again to notify them what is happening (as it should not be doing this as the document was properly adjusted correctly on my graphic design monitor) and is not reflecting as it should, and again haven't heard anything back. I am getting ticket requests #'s and know my inquiries are going through because I get emails saying "The support team will review and respond to your email as quickly as possible. We're usually able to respond within 24 hours"... It is now 5 months later, I have still yet to get a reply! They keeping sending me "How would you rate the support you were given" emails and yet no one has bothered to even answer any of my emails. They blame Covid for being delayed, but it shouldn't take close to half a year to even acknowledge an inquiry (which I still haven't gotten). I think they even closed the ticket/inquiry case because it's been so long the system thinks it's resolved and yet it's not.

Just had a fantastic experience at Staples. To start off, I'm an avid online shopper, I would say I do 80% of my shopping online. I was in the market for a new lazer printer for my local business, I looked at the big online suppliers twice for such a printer but couldn't really find what I was looking for in the right price range. I decided to check out Staples, because my wife recently bought a new printer and the service was great. A young man names Adrian (I think) was very knowledgeable and helped me find the perfect printer at a fantastic price, another sales associate complimented my son and bought him some chocolate, also the check out girl had a nice warm welcoming smile. TL:DR Great printer at a fantastic price. Sales/Service staff went above and beyond.

I usually drop my shipments at Purolator Gregoire where they honestly have a decent service and good staff however last week I was in a rush then I had to send it through Purolator Staples down town , that was a big mistake never had so bad customer service in my life this young black girl was impolite , arrogant and not qualified at the end my shipment was put on hold in the processing centre because she didn't enter the contact number for the consignee . There was a very rude lady who came to help me and my sister. She was very impatient and had an attitude with my sister. Because of covid we have to ask for the workers to bring us things. My sister wasn't familiar with binder sizes and didn't really care what size it was and asked the lady to get her a 1 or 2 inch cheap plastic binder and the lady refused because my sister "lacked" information. The lady also didn't offer us with any binder sizes. Very un helpful and makes staples look bad.

I never submit reviews as I am so disillusioned with customer service pretty much anywhere these days but these 2 ladies deserve a five star rating shout out. Long story short, I was an irritated customer waiting for a same day photo expressing my displeasure, the fabulous lady was so understanding, sweet and so nice. I do not recommend buying a printer from Staples. I purchased a printer 4 months ago. When I purchased the printer there was no ink available to purchase with the printer. I returned to the store total of 4 times seeking the ink for the printer with no results of purchasing the ink. Every time I was told they were unable to tell me when the ink was coming in. This is just simply bad business when you sell a product that is not usable.

Disappointed with this group. Unless you want to pay anywhere from $135 up to $195 extra for "Staples Easycare" depending on the price of your laptop, I would suggest going elsewhere as I am now hearing about others who have had similar trouble with Laptops from Staples. I bought a HP laptop about a month ago from staples Charlottetown, it was brand new. Right out of the box, the first day, it would freeze up randomly no matter what browsers and other programs I was using, whether I was on the internet or not. I once tried it with no apps running or internet connected and it still froze up. I did not get the $135 warranty extension from staples priced for my laptop range (who does, what student can afford that?) so am now left dealing with HP. It might freeze up 5 mins after booting or sometimes last many hours, but eventually it will freeze up so bad all you can do is hold the power button down. Its usually about an hour but often 5-10 mins as well. I had a professional check it out as dealing with the manufacturer is painful. We checked everything with systems tests from the harddrive to ram, Drivers, BIOS, load tests, malware and virus, and it still freezes. The professionals had no idea, just that something is very wrong with this laptop. They saw all the freeze ups in the history but its so bad the system could not even register what is wrong. I just had to reinstall windows as I tried everything else with help from HP over the phone. If this does not work I will have to send it in to HP and who knows when I will get it back. The worst thing is it freezes randomly and I might have to wait to see how it works but am worried about losing out on warranty availability. I am a fulltime student and work and need my laptop and cannot count on this laptop for presentations, movie nights I like to host, or even doing work, I have to save my work every few mins as I do not know from one min to the next if it will freeze up. Terrible. Unless you want to pay a hundred or two extra for "Staples Care" I would suggest shopping elsewhere, there are a few well reviewed places around the city.

I took some confidential information papers to be shredded. My impression of "shredding" is that the papers go through a shredded while you are there. This apparently is not the case. They go into a locked bin and await a shredding company to come and supposedly do it in their truck. I think this is false testimony. In light of the fact that confidential papers have, in the past, been reported in television news stories of being found flying around the streets in the wind. If I had of known this before they started to put my papers in the locked bin I would have kept my papers (until the spring) and had a bonfire to burn these sensitive papers. DO NOT GET YOUR CONFIDENTIAL PAPERS SHREDDED HERE.

I recently purchased a Dell laptop at Staples in Sydney. The rep who assisted me was Ashif A. This was the most stress free experience I have ever had when purchasing technology. Ashif was very patient & pleasant . He listened to what I said & did not try to tell me what I wanted. Instead he tried his best to help me find the product that would meet my need. He was very careful to make sure every detail was taken care of. Even when I purchased a sleeve for my laptop, Ashif took the laptop out of the box again & put it into the sleeve to make sure it did fit & put the laptop back in the box again. He was knowledgeable but did not in any way make me feel uncomfortable with my limited knowledge. He was the kind of helper that I always hoped I could find when making a major purchase. Overpriced products and not a lot of variety for certain products you would assume to be in store (I.e card stock paper, pens, etc) . Staff are less than knowledgeable on products they should be aware about (I.e flyer sales) and apparently they do not offer "rain checks". Went in to buy a specific item that was IN the flyer, went there the first day the flyer started, asked for the stadler fineliner pens that were on sale for 9.99 in the flyer, first guy didnt have a clue as to what I was speaking about and send me to customer service, where I asked for a flyer in which he responded he didnt have any left, so i brought the flyer up on my phone, when I showed him the pens he responded with their location didnt sell those and never got any with their inventory arrival.... I asked him if he would do a rain check so I could get them when they did arrive and he told me no. So I left and have not been back. Why have a product in the flyer if the store has no intention of selling it?.. I will order on amazon instead!

I live in Nelson so need to enquire about stock before I make a 3 hour trip to visit this store. After several calls over three days, I can not get a human to answer the phone. It is obvious that staff are hidding behind the automated phone system and not trying to be helpful. I have a rather large purchase I intended to make at Staples in Cranbrook in an attempt to "Buy Local". I will now just purchase online. FYI. If local Kootenay Merchants are going to be so vocal about buying local, you had better get on the service bus, or our retail community as we know it today, will fail to survive. Not good for anyone. I always attempt to buy my items in Nelson or area but often get horrible or no service. If I don't get help or service, I go to the computer. Can't get much simpler than that! On line is getting easier and easier. In most cases I can find things cheaper and shipped to my door for nothing. I want to buy local still, however, over and over I am totally disappointed in local merchants. If it's not in stock, they are generally not interested in helping. I have read over and over in the newspaper that I should buy local and I agree! So, GET WITH IT YOU GUYS! All we want is good service. We are generally willing to pay more for a local purchase. Don't tell me you can't get it for three weeks or at all when I can go online and buy it cheaper and get it in three days! (you could do the same) In short, quit whining about dwindling sales when online marketers are providing the same goods cheaper, in many cases quicker and without the frustration of dealing with unmotivated, lazy service people!

This is for the shipping services only. I tried to priority overnight a package on dry ice. After 2 days the package was not delivered. After jumping through hoops I find out that the package did not even leave the Staples drop off depot. I call staples and they were hanging out with the package for the whole time. No apology or even an offer to reimburse the package. I had to call FedEx to sort things out. Super incompetent staff!

Just had a really unusual experience at the print center. Purchased something, realized I had made a mistake and went back in. One man was busy helping a customer, so I stood at the desk trying to get the attention of a young woman behind the counter. She spent probably 10 minutes pretending to work and doing everything she could not to look at me. Basically slowly walking around and occasionally stopping to stare at random objects. At one point (I kid you not) she accidentally made eye contact with me, then immediately turned and stared at a printer screen that was clearly turned off (it was facing me). Compared it to her watch, then slowly walked away while staring at her watch. I waited quite awhile. Additional customers were waiting for help at this point to, so I left. I'll have to go back later to try again with someone else. I gave two stars instead of one as during my initial visit I was helped by multiple helpful employees.

What can I say. This store is not managed well. Went in to purchase office chairs. They were not in stock (ok, not a huge deal since we needed 5). Ordered them with the sales associate, arranged fo them to be delivered to our business once they arrived. Were told it should only be a couple days. We had to pay up front for the chairs. 2 weeks went by with no delivery. Attempted to call the store to find d out what was going on. Unable to get through on the phones. So, online we go. Contact the general help desk through their website (which is showing that the chairs we bought are only taking 2-3 days to be delivered once ordered). Anyway, we get a response from customer service who forwards us to the email of the GM for the store we purchased our chairs from. So we deal with this guy and apparently our chairs have been sitting in their delivery bay for over a week. So we arranged again for delivery. Another week goes by and still no chairs. Manager is no lo get responding to emails and still cannot reach the store by phone. We ended up sending someone to go pick up the chairs. They were treated very rudely by the manager when they were at the store. We finally get the chairs back to our facility, put them together and start using them. Another 2 weeks go by and we get a phone call from the Staples store to tell us that our chairs have arrived and are ready to be picked up. Really???? Can you not do better than this? The only reason they are getting a 2 star rating is because the sales girl who sold us the chairs on the day of the initial purchase was fantastic! Very knowledgable. Hey Staples, you should promote her!

Went here to look at computer desks today. Not only did they have nothing in stock, but the guy working the floor was not very helpful. I asked him for help, and he seemed annoyed and advised me that he was already helping another customer. Totally understandable, but I never saw him again and after waiting 20+ minutes I had to ask the cashier for help. I realize the people working here are making minimum wage, but I myself used to work in retail and I at least tried my best to help people. There's really no excuse for such terrible customer service. There's really no point in shopping here. Most items they sell are available online for lower prices with free shipping. The only advantage of shopping at a store like this would be for better customer service, which doesn't exist. I've gone ahead and ordered a desk on Amazon for less money and free shipping. Curious to see how long it takes for this place to go out of business..

I entered the Staples location in Fort St John on May 18th 2018 to have numerous faxes sent. I've had no previous experience with fax machines and the young associate whose name was Jasmine greeted me with a pleasant smile and asked if she could help me in anyway and I responded I have no experience with fax machines she immediately responded with we can help you with that sir. Jasmine was very attentive and patient with my lack of knowledge and now with her tutelage I feel confident to do it myself next time. This young lady in my opinion is an asset to this location and I would be happy to deal with her again with any of my issues.

With all the technology at our finger tips you would think that Staples would provide iPads to there staff to better supporting their clients or grenal public. Instead of running back to the stock room to see if they have the product/s available for their clients instead of running after clients when he/she comes back from the storage area. With an iPad they can scan the product code too see if it is available to him/her. Better time management better serving their clients.

Look, I get that times change. But I liked it better when Staples employed young workers getting their feet wet in the job market. I have no issue with the East Indian fellows that work there, I just see fewer and fewer opportunities for the teens of our community to get some work experience and it pisses me off to see another low cost employer in town taking advantage of immigrant labour. How's about paying a living wage that any person could make ends meet with? That being said, store was clean and found what I needed, but again, I shop there because I have to, not because I want to. Staples is Staples so nothing there to warrant 5 stars but the gal who runs the copy department is stellar. Knows how to get stuff done right the first time and very customer focused. You can get a pen or regular photocopy done anywhere but if it is outside the norm, come to this store.

I AM NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN. People have no concept of customer service these days with big box stores like Staples. I phoned ahead to have ink set aside and left work early and showed up 5 minutes before they were closing and they told me they had already shut down their cash registers. I AM WALKING INTO YOUR BUSINESS TRYING TO GIVE YOU MONEY DURING YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION AND I EVEN CALLED AHEAD BECAUSE I KNEW I WAS CRUNCHED FOR TIME TO HAVE MY ITEM SET ASIDE AND YOU STILL WONT ACCEPT MY MONEY BECAUSE IT’S AN INCONVENIENCE. I went into staples 2 mornings in a row to get assistance with color copying. The young lady at the copy desk informed me that if I didn't know How to run their machines I could not use them. She also informed me that she could not show me how to operate them as the employees are not allowed to assist as they are supposed to upsell to them doing the work for at an ridiculous upcharge. When asked about the paper and different weights was told that if I bought cardstock from them I could not use it on their machines. To say the least I truly hope this young lady is demoted and forced to take a customer service course as she is sadly lacking.

Went in looking for a box to ship a package. Was told to look in the wrong area by an employee ended up finding them on my own. Boxes were slightly too small and asked if that had any scrap cardboard I could use to fill the gaps and was told no by another employee who was standing next to an empty card box. I asked about said box and he deferred the question. Ended up having to buy a second box for a small amount of extra material. I understand that it's a business, but FSJ is a small town and if you're not willing to help people out in a tiny way like giving them a small box that will be thrown into the recycling then you don't deserve my business.

This staples location has some of the worst unprofessional working associates. All associates seem to be under 20 ranging in the 16-19 group and are unsure about their store products and extremely slow when it comes to customer assistance. I’ve waited over 3 hours at this location just to have 3 documents printed would highly un recommend this location.

Apparently the extended warranty sold by the store only comes into effect after one year. Find out how easy it is to communicate with a manufacturer. If I wanted to fight with an "800" number I would have ordered on line. Don't pay for the "extended" warranty, there is no support from the store.

The printing department in this store is terrible, I went in wanting to print a document that I uploaded to their website, because last time I used a USB stick to transfer files they charged me money and I didn't want to pay extra. I go in and ask the lady working there if can pay for the print job at the register and she said yes once I send the print job through. So then I ask if it went through and the lady said yes and didn't add anything afterwards. (I also received and email confirmation that my order was received) She only said that it will take about half an hour for her to get it and for it to print. Which is ridiculous considering the file has been uploaded and I had access to it on their computer. Two of my friends and I were chatting in front of the printing area and the lady didn't bring a receipt or didn't ask me how or where I wanted to print, instead she kept working on her own thing. So my friends and I go to check out items that we were buying from other departments and we stood in line for about 10 minutes at the cash register and still the lady from the printing department didn't come in to bill me or anything. So my friends and I didn't make much of it and thought we could come back once the print job was over (again the lady had about 10+ minutes to tell us we still need to pay). So we left staples and went to have a coffee and came back after the half hour mark, only to find that the job was not printed and the lady told me that I still had to pay. So I told her that she didn't specify when we had to pay and that we were in the store so she could have easily called us. So she said she did tell us (which neither me nor my two friends recall all we recall is her saying I could pay at the cash register). And then after I said OK I'll pay, she told me I had to wait another half an hour which I couldn't really do because I didn't have a ride. So I told her to just cancel the job, and she didn't even care. She didn't even put in minimal effort to help me get my job done and didn't give me the information necessary to complete the print job. I wanted to print something for my friend for her birthday and it was supposed to be special, now I'm gonna give her the gift late a couple of days because : 1. I don't want to print anything at staples anymore because this is the second time they screw me over. 2. Tomorrow is a holiday and everything is closed. 3. By the time I got home other printing places were closed. I am very displeased with the service their and definitely won't be using staples anymore PS. The rest of the staff there were very friendly and were very helpful when we needed assistance

Visited this store today. Signage was not correct on product. Supervisor acted like she was going to do me a favour and give me the price. I also complained that there were 4 tills with staff behind them and only one was open. Was told by the same lady (tall with dark hair) that they appreciated it when the customers had patience when they were getting slammed. What an attitude! If a staff member is not going to ring in customers maybe they should not stand behind the till.

Stay as far as possible. One of the worst customer service experience I ever experienced. I purchased a laptop who turned out not to be working well at all. After a review from my office IT technician, I was informed that the laptop had been opened before, that the hard drive was fried so I had to bring it back to Staples. I therefore brought back the laptop within 10 days of purchasing and explained the situation. The manager immediately started interrogating me as if I was a suspect. She rapidly declined any responsibility given I had asked my office IT technician to have a look at the laptop (as I was trying to avoid having to return the laptop). Ultimately, a store clerk, who was clearly more customer-service oriented than the management there, told me that he would send the laptop to HP on my behalf. I will now have to wait 2-3 months to get the laptop back. Had it not been from this store clerk, I would have been left with a non-functionning brand new laptop and I would had been stuck dealing with HP directly. I run a business and I have no time for this. The customer service at Staples Brockville is beyond pathetic, especially from the management. From one customer to another, buy elsewhere!

This store is so helpful, Nick had called the Brant Fairview store and reserved the phone they were out of stock on. In the end I did not get the phone because the other store was very disorganized and not well managed, and the phone they ensured was in stock to Nick, was not. If you want a professional staff go to Davidson Street, Burlington. The manager there seemed hands on and was actually managing his staff, unlike the other store.

He had helped us find exactly what we wanted and was very kind. When I arrived at the til, I had made the mistake or grabbing a laptop bag that was too small for the laptop I was purchasing. He had payed attention to detail, and let me know that I had the wrong size, so I did not waste my money on a case that wouldn't fit.

I traveled in from 90 minutes away to have a work station PC looked at. Just needed data recovery. Now I did this on September 5th, so I get that its Back to School week and the store will be busy. However, I am standing there with a desk top tower looking like I need help (because I did, actually) but the store manager and a employee where discussing the weeks scheduling of shifts instead. Finally I was acknowledged that someone would be asked to help me. 10 minutes later, no one was helping...just chit chating with each other. I had to initiate that I needed help. I did not follow my gut on this one, I had a bad feeling but like most horror movies, I continued into the darkened basement. It is now September 11th at 3:45pm, I was told that I would receive a call on Friday to let me know if the data can be recovered. I called Friday afternoon, no answer, not ability to leave a voicemail. Called every two hours on Monday, again no answer at the store location. Called Staples Canada Customer Support at 930am and they are to send an email to the store manager directing him/her to contact me in reference to my computer repair order number. At 3:30pm, called back Staples Canada Customer Care and even the service representative cannot get a hold of the store. Its laughable! Regardless on how this goes and what the end result is (probably won't be offered compensation). This will be my last experience with Staples. Ever. In any city.

Wonderful service at the copy center. Needed photocopies of documents a copy of a picture on photo paper - usually have to wait but it wasn't busy and done immediately. Black and white copies are .11 page and color. 40 page. You can copy yourself and pay at the copier (need credit card...dz not accept debit) or have copied for you for a $3.00 charge for document copies. Photo copy prices vary by size. Would definitely use their services again.

They cannot handle online orders efficiently. If you order from Staples.ca and select “ship to store”, be prepared for a run around. They use FedEx to ship to store, but FedEx sometimes tries to deliver at hours the store is not open, so my order is delivered late , even after calling FedEx myself to intervene in the delivery process. A customer should not have to do this when it’s simply one Staples warehouse shipping to a Staples store. They need to get their act together. I called this Staples store myself and they would not assist, told me to contact Staples.ca myself, which has no phone # online to call. Very poor customer service. If they cannot do e-commerce online effectively, then get out of the business.

My boyfriend recently purchased a yeti recording microphone from here. After using it a couple times the audio stopped working. We took it back (without a receipt) hoping that maybe we could get a replacement and Debbie went above and beyond! She got a copy of the original receipt off their system , gave us a full refund and checked the stock to make sure we could get a replacement or something better! If you have any returns or questions definitely see Debbie, she'll do everything she can to help. Great customer service, we will be buying from here in the future!

Needing printing or other related services?...definitely go to this location!! The customer service was amazing! You can do it yourself (guidance is provided) or have them do it for you. Super fast, friendly, professional and they made it so easy for me to get the job done! Great prices too. The thing is I am the worst at this kind of thing...the woman who guided me made it easy to understand. Also a great ambasssdor to Staples offering impressive information about other services like banners hats etc for your business or organization's needs!

Heaven help you if you use their self serve computer workstation for scanning/copying. It charges by 30 second increment (pressure much?) and the instructions are not self-explanatory. So, if you dare, you can try to teach/train yourself - but you'll be paying for it! Every 30 seconds! And if you fail, you walk away with a potentially hefty charge on your credit card after having accomplished nothing except to aggravate yourself. One star.

Do not have the time to close my shop to drive all the way down to Staples to find out why another one of their re-man printer cartridges says it is not compatible with my printer, again! Tossed the last one out but not this time I should not have to. Fifth time I have tried to call and not been able to speak to anyone. Frustrating for sure for anyone. Understand staffing issues etc...but why is there not a Customer service person on full time? It does make sense for a business of this size with the variety of products they sell. Hopefully they can have this issue addressed. I always get helpful and good service when I go into the store, just not the phone.

Still a great store though, and even though its been years since I've been in school, the smell still takes me back.. not sure if that's a good thing though lol Only gave 4 stars as the prices in Staples (all Staples not just this one) are quite over priced - and the section for computers or computer accessories is weak.

This review is based on my recent experience trying to buy a computer. I was in about a week ago, with the 100% guaranteed intention of buying a new computer. I looked over the products, and had 1-2 in mind for purchase. I had just been at Best Buy 5 minutes before, and had shoddy service. I waited patiently, as there was only one associate in the computers section (understandable, as it was fairly quiet in the store). But the associate looked at me a few times, didn't even acknowledge me. He wandered off at some point, and another associate ambled over and talked to the customers who had been there before me. They asked for the first associate again since they had been dealing with him; so the second guy wanders off. Another customer entered the area in the meantime; then when the two associates came back, Associate 1 goes back to his original customers, Associate 2 looks at me and goes to the man who entered AFTER me. I'm 6'2", so I'm pretty hard to miss. No acknowledgement, no "I'll be with you in a minute." I had pretty much the same experience at Best Buy, so I walked out. As did my $300+ in a guaranteed sale.

I had 0 wait time. I am able to do buisness today and if it wasnt for them I wouldnt be typing online if not for them. I did buy staples 2 yr extendened warranty. Best decision anyone could choose. 3 yr warranty on your computer. you cant go wrong

When staples re-newed their website they chose not to backup any of the files that their customers had uploaded online. Now, when you go to use their "Easy Re-order" service online, you cannot simply re-order, you have to load your documents again. This is a SLAP in the face to all of your customers! Whoever decided to whip the files clean and not notify your customers is a living brain donor! Epic fail! Thanks for costing me time and money! Oh, and don't bother calling this location to ask them anything about the order number- they don't know what that is! Great staff! NOT!!!

The staff at this location are not well trained or motivated to deliver customer service,. It's not their fault, it's absentee owners and poor management. The manager here had been incredibly condescending and rude to me on more than one occasion. She is unhelpful, unkind, and just generally unpleasant. Because they are the only gig in town, rather than offer a superb customer experience, they have sunk into apathy and mediocrity. Order your stuff online, that's what we do.

Worst shopping experience ever! Went there to purchase labels. No customers in the store just a group of employees hanging out at the front. I was approached by the manager and told I need to wear a mask. I am exempt, I said. He continued to follow me around the store. When I asked him to stop, he said to just get what I needed and to get out! I have never had such a bad experience in my life. Luckily I can get anything I need online and will never again spend my money at this or any other staples location!
