My faithful Macbook Pro died yesterday and wouldn't turn on. I took it to an Apple "genius", who after working on it in the back for 5 minutes told me that it was "as good as a paper weight", that it was a "notoriously difficult model" and that I should immediately go buy a new one. Distraught and desperate (and not wanting to drop $2000) I called an independent computer doctor (TriCity Computers), and the lovely owner fixed it in 30 minutes. It just needed to be cleaned and the parts tuned up. He was fast, compassionate and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this small business!!!

My Mac died and the Apple Store couldn’t help me. I had work logged that I thought wasn’t backed up, so I raced over to TriCity in a panic. Enric went to work right away and was able to get into my hard drive. In the end it turned out that the files I needed *were* in my backup, but Enric’s reassurance was invaluable to me. When I went in to pick up my hard drive and pay him for his time, he insisted that I didn’t owe him anything. I would recommend TriCity Computers to anyone any day! TY Enric!

I brought my liquid damaged MacBook Pro to get fixed here and got a quote that was incredibly reasonable compared to what the Apple Store had quoted me. Instead of just replacing the MacBook, Enric was able to repair what needed to be repaired and cleaned the remaining liquid out of the computer. A quick google search of PC repair options for the Tri Cities came up. A few have high ratings including TriCity Computers. As it so happened, I reached out to another one of these Business' first that seemed good. After a quick call, the person told me to go to their website and enter my contact details and issue and they would get back to me promptly. It has been just under a week and nothing. So I called another one - call went to voicemail. Hey, it happens. So then I contacted Enric at TriCity Computers within 2 hours of closing on a Friday afternoon and he's like bring it in. I only need 20 - 30 minutes! And he was right. Had my issue resolved quickly and because it was a quick fix (for him), he charged me only the diagnostic cost. Now that DC computer Hospital in PoCo is closed, I'm definitely planning to use TriCity computer for future needs and purchases. Thanks again for your help. You've earned a new client.

It was a lovely experience to call and seek advice as to what was happening with my laptop. I was able to bring my laptop within 10 minutes and get it fixed within the hour at a reasonable price. The best part about this experience was to find out in the owners spare time he fixes laptops diverting them landing into the landfill and donates it to developing countries to people who need it most. On his wall there are letters and photos of people sending their gratitude. Good service. Good heart. Good deeds. I brought my laptop in because my screen was flickering and then had gone black. I brought it in to get looked at on a Tuesday at 1030 AM, I got a call at around 1 PM with the problem and by Wednesday at 12 PM my laptop was fixed and given back to me. Great service, I would bring my computer equipment here again, no doubt about it. My only issue is the store isnt open on weekends but hey who doesnt like weekends off.

I came in with a laptop that was experiencing battery issues. Some weeks prior to this visit, I took it to another shop, where they had ordered a new battery and then installed it. Unfortunately that resulted in my computer being unable to detect the new battery. I got a recommendation from a family member to come to this place for a second opinion, and withing ten minutes the problem was diagnosed and fixed. Turns out the battery that the other shop had ordered was wrong, and it was hooked up in a way that endangered my laptop. I spent $150 for nothing in the other shop. Here I got a discounted price for a quick fix from a compassionate professional, who showed me what went wrong and recommended some steps I can do next. Thank you so much!

WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRICITY COMPUTERS!!!! I brought in my primary business computer as it was running terribly slow and crashing on a daily basis. I left the computer with Enric and shortly after received a a call with his diagnosis and recommendations. I told him to proceed and a few hours later, I had a computer that was good as new. He installed a new SSD drive and then cloned my old drive to the new drive. He also fined tuned the Windows settings to allow smooth and efficient operation. Enric is a very knowledgeable person in his field and I would not hesitate to go back with any other computer issues I may encounter. I have been using TriCity Computers for about 8 years. When I moved to Coquitlam from downtown Vancouver I had to find another computer service store. I was glad I came here. Enric, the owner has always been honest, fair, competitive and efficient. If he cannot fix your computer he will not charge you. Enric has always given me excellent customer service and really cares for his clients. He also gives you good options. I have seen him many times now and Enric is constantly consistent. Same day service! Hate to say that because once word gets out, TriCity Computers will be the go-to computer doctor and as it should be. Another local shop quoted me at least a month turn-around which is understandable shortly after the holidays during a period most people are working from home. From the first phone call with Enric he was extremely helpful, informative and happy to assist with my PC. I turned my PC on to find what is known as the 'blue screen of death' and reading forums for others who had experienced this I figured it was a goner. Enric took it in and with confidence said he could fix it and within three hours! I was shocked. He gave me the option to restore my data for an additional charge and I felt that it was a reasonable rate and went with it. Not three hours later I had my PC back and working like new! Previous to the blue screen I was having issues with the built-in Realtek wifi adapter; inconsistency where it would lose connection after 15 minutes or so. I purchased a Netgear adapter and all seemed fine, or so I thought. After getting my PC back from Enric I mentioned this issue as it was occurring with and without the Netgear adapter and he said to bring it back in for him to take a look. He did some quick work; disabling the built-in, testing the Netgear and he saw the connection was not consistent. He tested using one of his adapters from his stock and we had the results we were looking for. He let me have that adapter (thank you!) and three days later it is running like new with a stable connection. Five stars for the knowledge, quick fix and customer service!
