I typically don't leave bad reviews however my experience here was absolutely unacceptable. I had a huge project (in charge of all the media for a 300+ person event) and all my files were in my computer when it decided to die. I called about 10 different computer shops but decided to bring my laptop here because I was told that they could look at it right away. I came in, explained my situation to the guy working at the front and he said no worries we will take care of it ASAP, we'll call you as soon as we figure out what's wrong and what needs to be done. 4 hours later I drop by because I haven't received a call and he says they're working on it, I asked to bring my laptop somewhere else because they weren't giving me a definite answer however the employee SPECIFICALLY said *******"your laptop is hooked up to our computers right now and we're working on it as we speak"****. He then said that they're actually partners with the shop that I wanted to bring it to (which I later learned was a lie) so I left it there. The next morning I call and it turns out they haven't even touched it!!! This guy wasted my time and could have screwed up the whole event (my business could have lost thousands of dollars). I understand businesses need to make money but when you blatantly lie to a customer saying "we're working on it right now" just to book a job that's stepping way over line. Do not bring your computer here guys...unless you want to be lied to. The guy was so convincing too.

I meant to post this review back in October when Trek PC fixed my computer. My laptop would not update due to a partition wall issue and I could not get Windows to load. This happened on a Saturday morning with a lot of prep work for the week ahead and no access my course files. They could see I was distressed and told me they would try their best to help me out. Not only did they identify the issue and rectify it at a very reasonable cost, they got it back to me right before they closed on the same day! Sam wiped the hard drive, upgraded the Windows 7 operating system through the free Windows 10 upgrade program, reloaded all the drivers, cleaned the computer inside and out and had it back to me the next day. Editing post After the glass was replaced by trek computers, the lcd started glitching that night. After some personal health issues, I called them a week later (I was in the hospital) Brought in the phone with the glass still perfect, but the lcd started to go bad at the previous impact location Technician was rude and condescending. Showed me the site for parts, which I suspect is doctored. I showed them the site for the competition that charged less for the full repair. Technician refused to acknowledge that he didn't fix the phone or that he screwed up. Went to UBreakiFix, the technician there was a certified Samsung repair guy, said that the damage is consistent with a left over glass shard left between the lcd and the new glass screen. The damage would not be noticeable immediately, but as the phone is continued to be used, the glass shares presses down on the lcd, worsening the damage.

The hard drive recently failed on my wife's desktop PC. Sam replaced it with a solid state drive and my wife loves it. He re-installed Windows, cleaned the computer and did some general maintenance. The job was done quickly and professionally. Sam had good answers to all my questions and it appears that he knows what he is talking about. I was very satisfied and will come back. Dec. 2018 - I had to bring in my computer when experiencing problems installing the October Windows 10 update. Trek quickly resolved the issue and the price was fair. Another 5-star performance. Aug. 2019 - I thought the hard drive on one of my computers was failing and asked Sam to replace it with a solid state drive like he had done for my wife's computer. Sam found that the real problem was with the power supply and if it hadn't been caught it could have caused a fire in my house. He replaced both the power supply and the hard drive, including re-installing Windows. The solid state drive is much quicker than the old mechanical one and Trek PC may have saved me an insurance claim. The price was reasonable and the service was quick. First-rate service, again. Sept.2019 - I finally had enough of my first-generation iPad so asked Sam if he could could find me an upgrade that wouldn’t break the bank. He was able to offer a more recent (several generations newer) refurbished iPad at a reasonable price. I spent the afternoon configuring and getting to know it and I like what I see. What a difference, I am very happy with my new purchase. Thanks, Sam, for an excellent solution to my problem.

I was overwhelmed at the service I got from Kane at this computer shop. It all started when my MacBook started slowing down tremendously. When I contacted Trek PC, Kane answered and boy, did he know his stuff. He gave me a good rough estimate right away (no beating around the bush), and then offered to take a look at my computer hardware for free, if I could leave it overnight (it's not a quick thing to do, and yes, this is the a service they offer). The thing was, I needed it for work, and he totally understood that, so he offered to rush it. I was upfront with him that I was worried it was in his interest to sell me upgrades rather than to be honest if I just need a new computer. He assured me that he is not on commission, and he feels that doing good business is doing what's right for the customer. He even waited until the end of day for me to show up, because I needed my computer all day. Then, after taking a look, he honestly told me what my options were: I could pay a little now, and get maybe another year or two out of my current computer. Or, I can just invest in a new computer now. He also told me what my options were not: some things just can't be upgraded on my current computer. It's aging. He NEVER tried to push me one way or another. In fact, he told me his opinion that I probably would be better off with a new computer, which of course, would mean that my money would go elsewhere. BUT he did more than that! He then called Apple to find out if it is possible to custom order a special video card in the new MacBooks. This is because by default, MacBooks these days come with not-so-great ones, and there are no upgrade options after you buy your Mac (everything is soldered in place). He did this because he knew I needed it for what I wanted to do, and without it, I'd be spending thousands on a new computer in a couple years anyway. THEN when I arrived to pick up my computer, he wrote out all the specs I needed to look for with a new Mac. He told me what to say to an Apple sales rep, where to order for more options, and he told me what to be weary of. To top it all off, we even had a conversation about cameras and and he advised me on how I can improve the firmware on the camera I had. He knows so much! And he was so honest and selfless. He went WAY above my expectations of 'normal' customer service. He confirmed that his boss is awesome too :) I feel indebted to Kane for saving me from going down a dark path with this computer saga I'm having. I offered to get him pizza or something. But he felt he was just doing his job. Now, THIS is doing good business. Even though they serviced me, they didn't get a dollar from me - and since Kane basically gets paid for being nice, he had no remorse about it :) But now I am totally going to talk about them, recommend them and go to these guys for my computer needs in the future. I'll go to them for Apple accessories, or whatever. They work for every dollar they earn, and they do it with TRUST. If you don't live in Delta, they are worth the drive (but they have a location in Vancouver too). Oh, and did you know they'll recycle your old electronics for you, or help you donate them? Kane also told me how I can help those in need with a much older, broken computer I have, which is collecting dust. He even offered to take care of that for me too. And, they'll clean the data off of it too. Super cool. Go see Kane!

Sam and Kane were super helpful to fix my Macbook Air that had accidental water damage to the screen. I was initially quoted by Apple to essentially get my whole laptop replaced, but they ensured me I only needed my screen replaced and they even did it for a fraction of Apple quote. I had to wait a few days for them to order my screen, but once it arrived, Sam fixed my screen within a couple of hours! Super happy with their service- my Macbook is as good as new.

Originally I had a very positive experience here. The staff seemed friendly and responsive. I had requested that a custom PC be built. I was explicit in stating that I required a machine that could handle heavy use of rendering using Adobe. I was told no problem. They built the computer with surprising speed but all I had was issue after issue. The computer consistently kept crashing and this happened within days of bringing it home. I had the computer for a total of 5 weeks and it was in the shop every single week because it kept crashing. Each time, they assured me that that they had fixed it and resolved any and all issues. I had to take the PC back 4 times. With each experience, the customer service declined. They stopped updating me when they promised to call and I had to consistently call for updates. At around 3 weeks I began requested a full detailed list of components in the PC. Despite asking for this at least 10 times, I never received it. I requested a quote on upgrading the graphics card over each time as well and never received an answer. The 4th time I had to return it, they had it for over a week. I did my own research and determined that they video card they had given me was not compatible with Adobe. I was surprised and angry about this because this was one of my requirements that I mentioned every single time I spoke to them. They either didn't know about the graphics card conflict or decided not to tell me, either way it doesn't speak well for them. After 5 weeks of frustration, lost revenue to my business because of missed deadlines for clients due to the PC problems, I requested a full refund of the computer. The owner argued with me on the phone for almost an hour before finally agreeing to refund me. When I arrived the following day to return the PC and get my refund, there was a surprise "restocking fee". The owner insisted he didn't sell "used" parts even though this contradicts what he had told me weeks before. Working with this company caused me 5 weeks of stress, loss revenue to my business, and a total of $550 that they refused to refund. Horribly disappointing! Don't get a PC built by them, not worth the hassle!

They were very helpful on the phone and informed me that they do a free diagnostic. Brought it in and they immediately told me what was wrong. They have even problem solved with the CRC IT Dept, going above & beyond in their attempts to resolve the issues. My family and friends have used Treck PC in Delta for years and recommended it to me. I would highly recommend their services to anyone. My laptop would not function at all. Trek PC Delta saved me ! Came in from Montreal to see a customer in Delta, BC and I boot up my laptop then....Windows 10 is just looping. 30 minutes away from doing a presentation and my laptop bit the biscuit. Googled local PC shops and found Trek PC. They quickly diagnosed what the issues might be, I bought a great solid state refurbished laptop at a reasonable price. Did my presentation. Went back in the afternoon and they managed to save my old hard-drive and put it in an external case for access. This kind of service does not exist anymore so I thought. I work in corporate IT and I could not recommend a better place for your personal or business needs. Thanks Guys!

I HIGHLY recommend them and their services. Quality technology, and even better customer service. My partner's parent's who are a little bit older and are "computer illiterate" ( their term, not mine! ) bought a computer and got it all set up, but were having very small issues, but issues that needed to be addressed so they could use it ( they forgot their passwords to get into the computer! ) . I swear we were back and forth 4 times from home to the shop for little issues my inlaw's were having.. they helped us each time- even though you could see they were very busy. Fixed our small issues and sent us on our way. They even said they would do house calls, which will be handy for the older people. Thanks again!

Brought in my PC because of what I thought was a memory board issue, I know bascially nothing about PC's and this was the first place that popped on Google, they were nothing but helpfull ran a diagnostic that they didn't even charge me for and knocked off some of the price since I didn't have the money, excellent customer service and always put you first, the staff has great knowledge and knows what they are doing, only good things to say about them. Update - had to bring it in again as I made a stupid mistake and blue screened my self yet again brought it Back got a secound round of excellent service, at no charge since I had already paid for a repair all around great guys Caine was nothing but helpfull and kind throughout the whole process would higly reccomend comming here for any sort of issue

I was in Vancouver for work and accidentally spilt coffee on my computer. When I took my computer in in a panic cause it wouldn’t turn on and I was travelling back the next day, they rushed it and within the few hours brought my computer back to life! They truly are miracle workers and I would recommend them to anyone in the lower mainland!!!! Price is very reasonable as well!

I came here to have Trek PC look at my old computer that I was have issues with.... as I suspected...my old computer was done. Trek PC took parts from my old computer and incorporated them into a refurbished one they had on their shelf. I didn't lose any information from my old PC and my new one is still running strong with out issues, since bought it 8 mos ago. I'm confident that I walked away with better PC than I would have, had I gone with a big box store computer..... at a fraction of the price. Good job guys! Then about 2 months ago, I came to them with a tablet that I wanted to have reset to factory settings.... essentially wiping it clean, making it as it was when bought new. I realized after that I probably could have done this myself.... however, I am technically challenged, lol.... they didn't charge me anything for this. Again I walked away a very happy customer. I recommend these guys to anyone who's having issues with any computer related equipment. Thanks again.

Explained everything as the repair progressed. I'd still be waiting for my laptop to be repaired at a chain customer service, and I'm writing this review on the returned repaired laptop.
