An honest shop with great people! I was having computer problems, and my computer ended up dieing while it was in Think Monkeys hands. Instead of just dumping the problem back to me, they owned up to it (when they didn't have to), and were super helpful about the whole situation. Turn-around time on screen & battery replacements is insanely quick and if you have to go without a phone for a couple of hours to a couple of days, they have loaner phones they can give you while you wait for yours to be returned like new. 10/10, highly recommend!

I have a 7 year old Asus 17 inch laptop that I had recently upgraded the hard drive, as well as a memory, because it's been such a great laptop. The keyboard went on me and I hadn't been able to see the keys for a couple of years as I had worn them off. I was happy to get a quote to have a new keyboard shipped in, and the young man on the phone reminded me that I could plug in an external keyboard until the new one arrived. The shipping process was slower than expected however Glen got me in right away to make up for the delay and when I asked them to upgrade my laptop to Windows 10 it was no problem. When I picked it up later, everything was running well and I'm happy to keep my laptop out of the landfill for another couple of years! I'd recommend this company for those of you that want to do the same.

The thing I appreciated most was Ross's "repair and improve" ethos. Too often, I have had to fend off aggressive sales pitches while being already anxious about my computer. Ross doesn't do that. I can't give enough praise to the FAST and professional service Ross and the team at ThinkMonkey provide! They repaired my old Wacom Intuos graphics tablet which I've used daily for work for 10 years, it had lost an old-school USB connection which is now obscure and they replaced it and repaired it in 1/10th the time I was expecting! They are also champion communicators, updating me every step of the way. The in-person service is incredibly friendly, you get the sense they genuinely care and are willing to take their time explaining things to customers who aren't tech savvy, you don't get that everywhere and it's very appreciated. Brought an iPhone in with a cracked lcd, I was told it would be a easy fix, and would be ready to pick up in a few hours and when I went back to pick it up the home button was broken and took another day to get the phone back, and they wouldn't take responsibility. No refund or discount was given. unexperienced technicians and terrible customer service would not recommend. As stated when I dropped off the phone the home button was in working order, tharefore I believe it was damaged during repair and now is dysfunctional to the point the phone is no longer usable. I would expect some type of compensation but have received nothing nor help or a solution. Again would highly not recommend.

Ross was amazing to deal with st ThinkMonkey. I recently had a dear friend pass away and was looking to find older photos from two previous laptops that I had, one being nearly 17 years old. He was very empathetic to my situation and took my computers the same day and amazingly extracted all the information off both computers. The older computer he had to put a lot of time and effort into and unless the charger was plugged in , it wouldn’t stay on ( duct tape to the rescue lol ) It also was overheating with the amount of dust and cat hair that was in there ( he literally said a cat flew out of there and had to keep a fan on the computer to keep it cool ) His CD to bypass my password was also not working... but we sat on the phone for nearly 10 minutes trying to guess what it was and not one moment did I feel him get frustrated, it actually became quite funny. After a lot of perseverance and determination on his part , he got the job done ! Within 24 hours I had all the information I needed on a USB stick. I highly recommend this company!!!! These guys were awesome for me. I have been wracking my brain for a few days trying to figure out words to explain, but I will just list. -Ross was very knowledgeable and skilled with putting together the parts I had ordered to make an amazing computer build. -Their prices were very competitive with other companies in the region that I had shopped out. -Very personable customer service. -A few days after the build was completed, I had a software issue from a program I was running. I was able to contact them, and using a remote application, they were able to rectify the issue in extremely short order. --If I have any more issues with my computer that I cannot figure out, I will be returning to them!

Fantastic experience. My mother is deaf with a cochlear implant and her phone is essential for running the device that allows her to hear. So her phone extremely important to her. All 3 staff that we had contact with, both in person and over the phone were incredibly professional and kind and extremely accommodating with her hearing impairment. Service was fast and we heard back in the timeframe they told us to expect. They were able to explain and fix the problem and tell us what they would need to do if it recurs. Prices were extremely reasonable. Very happy with the service and we'll definitely be back.

I have had my laptop and cell phone in to ThinkMonkey several times, mostly to do with my "senior moments", not necessarily the device. They have always been curteous, friendly and personable but still professional. Think Monkey is a true GEM of the Shuswap. They specialize in repairs to computers, smart phones and tablets but have also repaired the occasional gaming console and other electronic devices. It's one of the few places in BC that you can get microsoldering done. Integrity is a cornerstone of the ThinkMonkey family. Their rates are extremely reasonable but the work is above par! They have repaired many devices that others have said were not repairable, including at least one cell phone that had been run over by a vehicle. If someone says "It can't be fixed", ask ThinkMonkey! Trust the experts! Get it done right!

My iPhone X stopped working. None of the buttons wouldn't work. I managed to shut it down, but it came back on asking to restore. I tried many times to restore it, and even got Genius bar to give it a go. After several attempts with multiple laptops and cords, they said it must be a hardware issue and since I no longer have warranty on it, they could give me a replacement phone for approx. $720!!! And I would need to give up my "dead" phone to get the replacement for that price. I didn't want to give it up as I know the battery and screen are still good. A good friend of mine recommended I get Ross and his team at Think Monkey to give it a go. I figured why not, its already not working. Well Im SO GLAD I DID!!! They got it up and running within minutes of opening it up! Johanna did an amazing job, she took her time and ensured all aspects of the phone was working before getting it back to me. They took the time to keep me updated on the repair. I have an OCD issue when it comes to my stuff and I was extremely happy with the quality of work and communication they provided. We brought my husband's cell phone in today to have his charging port of his iPhone replaced, as it had been giving him problems for a couple of weeks. We had pre-ordered the part, and were expecting to pay over $100. When we brought it in, the lovely girl at the front examined the phone.
