Excellent servicing and pricing. I would strongly recommend Mark and The Computer Guys. My hard drive suddenly started to die, and Mark patiently worked with me to save it. The level of service and effort on Mark's part was much more than I would expect. He really went above and beyond to make sure everything was resolved and all my data was saved. When it came to replacing the drive, Mark's pricing for hardware and installation was very reasonable. Plus, I love the store hours - open early mornings!

He conducted his diagnosis and then we decided on a solution and cost. I was pleasantly surprised with the cost to repair my laptop. Mark is good at his work and an excellent communicator. If necessary, then I would use Mark again for a computer related repair.

My laptop completely stopped working and I took it there for a diagnosis. The diagnosis was free! I was able to leave my laptop there and two hours later the results came back. Even though my laptop edned up being fried and not working anymore the very helpful staff told me to come and and that they will transfer my files onto a flashdrive for free! This buisness is not focused on ripping custumers off. They are very helpful with great custumer service and if I ever need anything to do with a computer I will definitetly be coming back because I know that I wont be seen as a money source but rather be seen as a person who needs help. I really enjoyed my experience with The Computer Guys and will DEFINITETLY be coming back.

Mark did an amazing job with rebuilding my compact gaming computer. It was a $3000 brand new custom built computer that was poorly built by someone else. It started to spark, smoke, and turn off by itself. I took it to Mark and he identified the issues immediately and was able to get it fixed the next day. Fantastic service! Fast, efficient, and honest. Mark runs this business with an keen respect to customer service. I brought in a Macbook pro with water damage thinking the motherboard would have to be replaced. Before I even left the shop he had run initial diagnostics. Mark kept me constantly updated throughout the process and waited for my input before replacing any parts. He perfectly orchestrated the repair through a specialist who replaced various parts and had it back to me in no time at all. I cannot offer enough praise for the quality of service and honesty that I experienced. I would recommend mark for any repair. His prices are very reasonable and his work is good! Mark is an excellent guy. This was the second time I visited his store. My laptop wouldn't turn on, and I couldn't figure out why. I took it to him and explained what happened. He said he would call me back in 2hrs. He called me in 15 min told me the problem was fixed "free of charge ". He did his magic. What an excellent guy. I wouldn't doubt taking my computer to him.

I was having a problem with my computer not turning on. I swapped out the power supply and the motherboard battery, but it still didn't work. I found the Computer Guys online and decided to bring my computer in to Mark for a diagnostic. Mark spent two days working on my computer, and ultimately determined that I had a faulty motherboard. To my surprise, the diagnostic was free, so Mark didn't charge me a dime. Being the type who can't take something for nothing, I gave Mark a six pack of beer to show my appreciation. Mark is a super nice guy and very talented. He runs an honest business and has a lot of integrity. That's something I look for in my life and in the businesses I deal with. Thanks again Mark for all of your help, it was greatly appreciated!

This owner is incredibly kind and gracious. I first came to him to replace a fan in my laptop (I gave him the new part). Unfortunately my replacement part was for a different model. He did not charge me for his time attempting to install this hardware, even after I insisted. He then offered to order the correctly-sized part (which he found for cheaper than I did!). If you need to get your computer fixed by anyone, make it this shop!

Mark gets 5 stars and nothing less. I took my business laptop to him when I got the black screen of death. He started on it right away and had it up and running in a few hours. There were a few on going issues that necessitated returning it a couple of times. Each time he took it out of my hands and started then and there to diagnosis the problem. He wouldn't stop until it was repaired. Exceptional customer service.

Was referred to Mark at Computer Guys. Had an issue with my laptop being super slow to boot up and run. Mark offered some solutions at various price points. Within a few hours from when I called/dropped it off, he had installed a new SSD and turned my super slow inexspensive laptop into a super fast machine. Very friendly and easy to work with. Researched a few places. Mark's website stated $25 diagnosis. So I emailed and got a fast response and currently offering free diagnosis. Dropped it off and 2 hours later had a diagnosis and quote. Was given choices on what hardware to put in. 5 hours later it was ready. I paid I what was quoted. Mark is fast friendly and honest compared to every other repair store I have interacted with. His store is pretty cool too. Theres a reason why his reviews are stellar. Bring your rigs here if you need a fast turnaround with out having to worry about being given a "rough quote" or unclear of what services they are charging for.

This place is everything that you want from a service organization. I took my laptop into Mark to address the intermittent errors that were happening. I left my laptop with them for diagnosis and Mark called me twice to let me know what was happening. Like many things related to computers, the cause of the problems are not always easy to diagnose. Hardware issues can manifest themselves as software related and vice versa. What I appreciated most is that Mark let me know that the issue might be difficult to diagnose and what the progress was. At the end of the day, my laptop was repaired with a new hard drive. All at a reasonable cost. If you appreciate open communication and good service I can highly recommend the Computer Guys.

Mark was very patient and got it sorted out right away. I also had to get a new PSU and he put one in right away at a very reasonable rate. Mark cares about his clients and the quality of service he provides. Not only is he very sincere person, but he's also very experienced and will provide you with the best possible repair solution. We had to order replacement fans for my laptop which took a while to arrive, but once it came, he fixed it within two hours of me bringing it in, which was very surprising as these Alienware laptops are VERY hard to get into! Definitely will be coming back for any repairs. Highly recommend his service to anyone in the North Shore.

When Evergreen Computers could not make time for me, unless I paid a $135 same day diagnostic fee, I phoned The Computer Guy. I explained to the owner Mark that over a few days my computer slowed down considerably, then would take several "hard boots" to start. He was busy, but made time for me to come in the same day. He had a quick look at my computer and gave me a FREE diagnostic, and extremely valuable advice. Then while I waited he removed junk files and programs that were preventing a fast start. He then directed me to free junkware removal and computer clean up programs I could use myself. I walked out of there with a faster computer, and more room on my hard drive. Most impressive of all, he didn't charge me anything, because for him it was a quick job. I can't imagine I'd be so lucky anywhere else. He struck me as an extremely ethical, up front businessman. I will not hesitate to use him in the future.

The hard drive failed on our 8 year old Dell computer and we were ready to scrap it and buy a new one, however, we decided to buy a new hard drive and try to install it ourselves. Well, without the proper knowledge you can imagine how that worked out! We then phoned Mark at The Computer Guys and asked if he would take a look at the computer and let us know if it was worth saving and if so, would he properly install the new hard drive to get it working again. He asked us to bring it in and he would have a look at it. Having never been in his store and not knowing him, we were very pleasantly surprised - Mark, had a wonderful personality, friendly and professional. He immediately put the computer on his bench, opened it and said it would be no problem and provided us with a very fair quote. He further surprised us by saying he would have it fixed by the end of the day. He was a man of his word - his work was top notch, his service exceptional and the price charged was exactly what he quoted. I would highly recommend Mark and am pleased to say, we have now found a person that we can completely rely on to help us with any computer problems. You shouldn't even consider going to anyone else on the North Shore for computer issues. Mark looked at my computer several times and did many free diagnoses to try and figure out the audio buzzing I was getting. He was finally able to fix it and moved all my data back on free of charge. Mark is truly the best there is for computer support.

Fantastic service and efficiency and AMAZING value! After over a year of working on a "cranky" laptop I took it in for Mark to take a look at. Within a very short space of time he had diagnosed the problem, ordered the new drive, called me for me to bring it in and it was fixed the same day. As pointed out in other reviews Mark from The Computer Guys deserves 5 stars and nothing less. I took my laptop which only booted to black screen to two different computer repair shops, after holding it for several days, both claimed it was a hard disk issue. In the first one they said its not worth to repair it and offered me to buy a new laptop from them. In the second one they offered to change hard disk at ridiculous cost. I gave it a last shot at the Computer Guys. Not only Mark diagnosed it correctly in a day (issue with RAM) but first time ever I didn't feel I'm getting ripped off paying for a service. Laptop still working fine 6 months later. Excellent customer service, reasonable prices, friendly and very professional. Highly recommended. Thank you Mark.
