As a web developer I rely heavily on my computers to help me run my business and build my projects. The computer and two monitors I recently purchased from Priority 1 are amazing! The computer has yet to even break a sweet on even some of the more resource heavy programs I run and the 30 second boot up is outstanding. I can't believe all the time I wasted on waiting before I got this new machine. I highly recommend Priority 1 to my friends, family and my clients.

Thank you for saving my computer! I am a bit of a computer nerd and I suspected my recent problems were due to a major windows update. I took my computer to another popular place and was told I would need to buy a new computer because my motherboard was shot.....egads.... I wasn't so sure and, as you should do with any medical diagnoses, I got a 2nd opinion at Priority 1. Note, the other place I took it to specializes in sales AND repair.....Priority 1 specializes in REPAIR and networking...if you want to buy a retail computer from Priority 1 you can, but you'll have to wait for it....that's a good thing because you'll get exactly what you want!! Am I glad I took it to Priority 1....my computer is running brilliantly. I would be lying if I said it wasn't a pain to set everything up again but the problem was not hardware....it was software, as I suspected. A small price to pay....thank you!!! update 6 months later....my computer is still running brilliantly. Thanks again Priority 1!! Update - 2 years later - computer still running just fine! Has not had any issues since. Priority 1, you are the best!!

My son bought computer parts to build his own PC, but got stuck when the monitor didn't get the video signal. It's been over 2 months since he bought it, we tried a few things, but finally we realized we need professionals. I considered a couple of computer repair places in Victoria recommended by my friends (one of the shops didn't even bother to call me back after leaving a message) but then I chose Priority 1 Computers, based on their great online reviews. They took it in on Friday around noon, saying they would look at it after the weekend, which I didn't mind at all (I expected 1-2 week turnaround). But they called me in a few hours, telling me they found the problem (a faulty mother board, still covered under warranty, so we need to send it back to the original seller), and the PC was ready for pickup. I came 20 minutes after closing time (I thought they were open until 5:30 PM, instead of 5 PM) but they let me in with a smile, gave me the PC and (wait for it:) didn't charge me anything (the bill was supposed to be around $50, which was fair, for all testing they performed). The whole experience was amazing: nice place, nice people (both on the phone and in person), courteous beyond usual, quick, efficient service and no charge! There's no doubt in my mind their objective is to stay in business for a long time and the gold old "Under-promise, over-deliver" will keep their customers happy. I know I just found a repair shop for all my computer troubles.

After spilling water on my keyboard/trackpad and doing everything I could to save it (and failing), my laptop became impossible to use because the boot process requires a couple keypresses. I came in looking for a USB keyboard and mouse to use to see if the rest of my laptop was working and Barb provided, answering my questions and providing suggestions. A technician opened it up and told me what I'd need to remove the hard drive and use it on a new unit, and disconnected the keyboard so there wouldn't be any ghost keypresses; all at no charge! They gave me a keyboard and mouse for pocket change; I'll be going out of my way to use them again when the time comes to finally replace this one.

I needed some ram memory for a 5 year old desktop and phoned Priority 1 to see if they still carried 2 GB DDR 3 sticks. They said they did which was great as other computer shops did not. When I got there they pulled out two sticks of 2 GB ram and offered them to me free. When I said I only needed one, they said they work better in pairs. So I asked how much I owed (I thought I had misheard the "free" part), they said they were a gift. I took them home and put them in my desktop and they worked like crazy. How often does a business offer you something free? I had heard they had a good reputation and now I am convinced. If any of my four computers need repair, I will be coming to Priority 1 to have the work done. I was impressed. Peter Gardner

Thank you so much to the Priority 1 Team for helping me with my daughter’s laptop fix by diagnosing the problem in about 2 seconds and telling me what needed to be done, and letting me know that I could fix it myself ???? I took the laptop back home, uninstalled the two competing versions of Microsoft Office and reinstalled the version that we had originally purchased and now it is working perfectly. I totally thought her laptop was compromised by a virus from the problems that were occurring, but it was just the two versions of MSOffice that were battling it out. I recently discovered Priority 1 Computers and have to say that they are excellent. After returning from a very humid, hot and dusty part of the world, I felt it would be a good idea to blast the dust from my two-month old MacBook Pro. Not only did they make time to do it when I arrived, the level of care and attention to detail was above and beyond. The service was fantastic – and Barb was super helpful and responsive via email prior to visiting (and of course once I got there). Parking was easy as well! If I could give ten stars I would. My computer was working too slow. I scanned for viruses, nothing showed. Then I ran an anti spam program on it. When I did this, internet explorer stopped working totally. Dropped it off to Priority One the next morning and it was ready for me to pick up that evening. It was a virus that my program had not been able to detect. My computer is essential for my work, and having it back so quickly kept frustration to a minimum.

I thought these guys were amazing- I went in with a blue-screened computer and even though it took many twists and turns to find out my final issue they were endlessly helpful and available. On April 14, 2021 at 10 am we arrived at Priority 1 in the midst of a dilemma concerning our lap top. It appeared to have crashed. We were greeted with kindness and professionalism by Barb. Following that we had brief chats with Richard and Mark and within hours we were advised of the problem by telephone. The following day at 9 am Mark arrived at our home with the revitalized lap top including a new hard drive and portable hard drive. Richard had performed a miracle. With Mark's guidance and support we were brought up to date as to the do's and dont's of the "new" lap top. Mark was kind enough to make the wifi connection from the lap top to our printer. Within 24 hours the problem was resolved. Again we are very much appreciative of the 3 person team that with professionalism and kindness eliminated our frustrating problem. Thanks!.

My dog accidentally knocked a glass of water onto my Mac book pro. I immediately brought it in to Priority 1 computers. Not only were they open earlier than there listed start time, but I was greeted by an excellent gentleman named christian. He popped open my Mac book right there to give me a preliminary idea as to if the computer would survive. Unfortunately after this initial test and a more in-depth test the water had destroyed the the hard drive and the mother board. I was bummed out that not only would I have to buy a new computer, but also pay the fee for them to have looked at it, until, Christian came up with a brilliant idea to sell them the parts that they could salvage. This covered the entire fee for there services. All and all amazing service, Christian is a rockstar and I will definitely be using priority 1 computing if I have any other issues.

You can imagine our dismay when our e-mail program crashed with dozens of family photos, folders I had made filled with files, a folder with all our on-line orders and important documents I had saved in them. Priority one has been our go to computer service for over 20 years and they did not disappoint this time either. We made an appointment for the following day to have the problem fixed remotely! In no time Marton installed a new e-mail program, had found my folders, files, contact information and transferred it all to the new program. I have used Priority1 a number of times over the years and found them to be very helpful and extremely competent. Recently I had them move a significant amount of information from a laptop I used for 8+ years to a new laptop. This included thousands of pictures, songs and important files. After I picked up my new laptop I encountered a couple of subtle things I wanted tweaked. These things were not the fault of the tech. I got in touch with Priority1 in order to get things straightened away using their terrific remote services. The tech was very courteous and took the time required to make things right, at no charge I might add. I highly recommend Priority1 to anyone needing assistance with their computer!

Priority 1 Computers is awesome! I dropped off a half started project thinking they would send me away. Much to my surprise, they were quite welcoming. They explained in detail the defective parts and what would have to be done to complete the job. Upon repair, they discovered that my computer was processing tasks slowly (I knew this). They explained thoroughly how hard-drives fail and that a diagnostic will reveal the issue. Before commencing anything further, they explained the associated costs in detail. What more can you ask for than transparency? Will definitely go back for future computer needs!

A cell phone repair and service shop in the same mall as the Priority 1 Computer is located, suggested me to go to Priority 1. So I did go to this place. I found the staff very helpful, professional and expert and truly willing to help me and not just provide service and make money. Nick attended me and helped me. I found him really exploring the cause of the problem in order to help me in the fastest and cheapest possible way. I found him truly professional and knowledgeable. My problem was solved. There was nothing else wrong expect the connection to the hard drive itself that is through the hard drive enclosure. The great news he gave me was that everything on the drive was ok and he did help me to get it copied on a new hard drive. He even fixed my old hard drive by replacing its enclosure by a new one. I am greatly indebted to the Priority 1 Computers and specially Nick. Congratulations are due to the Priority 1 Computers for having an employee/partner like Nick. I will highly and gladly recommend Priority 1 Computers to anyone for a great service they provide. Most customers usually do have good computers and hardware but lack knowledge to understand and guess the issues they face. Having compassionate and knowledgeable experts who are also willing to help resolve customer's issues without only self interest of making money is very important in the industry. I found such a group of people at Priority 1.

I was wrestling with a technical issue that was eliminating certain functionality of my laptop, along with a battery that would not keep its charge. I had tried to resolve this issue with another computer repair shop 4 months earlier and after not being able to retrieve my laptop until a day later, I was left with no resolution to my issue, work done that I hadn't agreed to, and a $135 bill. Priority 1 was a completely different and refreshing experience! When I walked into their shop, one quick look at my computer was all it took for them to know exactly what the issue was. They provided options for dealing with it and did all they could to ensure the cost to me was as low as possible. I made a few trips to their shop, but they kept my computer for only a few hours at a time, so I didn't have to manage without it for long. They were friendly and helpful, and handled my business in a thoroughly professional way, including providing complete documentation for what transpired. I'd say I've found my new IT department! :)
