Was in town visiting family, and was asked to do some "IT Support" on their machines. Long story short, I needed a DP to DVI passive adapter. Checked EVERYWHERE in Prince George, and no one had any immediately on hand except this place. I couldn't wait for an order as most would arrive after we had returned home. They force a bundle with the new 30 series Nvidia cards. So even if you don't need a motherboard or power supply they wont sell unless you buy and offer no returns for those items. Very anti-consumer and disappointing coming from a local business I trusted and have bought from in the past. Edit: Thanks for the quick reply, though still regardless of supplier demands, forcing loyal customers to purchase two extra computer components they do not need; in order to acquire an already expensive card in one of the worst and most disruptive years in recent memory is not good business practice. Maybe it is time to find a new supplier. I have edited my review score a bit to reflect your quick response.

Great service! Troy and Justin went above and beyond today and got me out of a bind. I was heading to Vancouver for a training course and at the last minute I was informed my operating system wouldn't support the software that we would be training on. Long story short; with 1 1/2 hours to go before I had to be at the airport I dropped my laptop off and they upgraded my operating system. Thanks guys!

I went into the store with some early 90's technology, hoping for a miracle to retrieve some valuable data. It took some time (which included ordering obsolete hardware and building an ancient computer), but they went above and beyond and I now have access to research data from 20 years ago! I can't believe the high level of customer service I received. It was incredible! I highly recommend DDR2 for all your computer needs!

Awesome store with great staff. Pricing is reasonable for the quality of service and product you are getting. They recently built a custom PC for me and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Winston and Hunter were great to work with and offer great advice when it comes to selecting parts for your PC. Service was fast, my PC was built within a week of me first inquiring about building one. Highly recommend this place for any of your computer needs.

Scalper Pricing. Selling 999.00 (1207.00CAD) 6900xt for 2999.00. Don't care how much they paid for it. They should procure stock from legit resellers at their msrp and sell for a reasonable fair profit. You are an actual business serving prince george. Someone on kijiji can get away with that but that practice just shows your greed and un caring for your customers. And yes, you can get these cards for MSRP or reasonably above MSRP from many retailers. You have to be patient and wait or get lucky. Best Buy, NewEgg, Memory Express, CanadaComputers, A-power computers, Synnex, Ingram, AMD.com and many more who value integrity. Quoting the current market does not justify tripling the price just because you can. And you cant play the victim of a struggling business and blame it on high demand. The margins on pc components are never high anywhere and they successful. My advice, sell the cards privately, and not tarnish the once good name DDR had. Its better to say not in stock, then sell a product 3x its msrp. Some folks can afford that and great on them. Most can't shell out that kinda cash and even worse feel pressured to buy.

I went to DDR2 over a year ago and have kept their receipt on my dresser to remind myself to write a review since then because I was so happy with their service. Today is the day, they were awesome! Super helpful, going out of their way to do so. Very informative, with great prices! I haven't had to go back since, which is a good thing. I won't hesitate when the time comes.

I was in the market for a new computer, and looked all over town for somewhere to help me build one that would meet my gaming needs. I was recommended to visit DDR2, and man am I glad I did. Troy helped me to pick out components for my build, and even put the system together for me at a very reasonable price. 2 days later I was experiencing some issues with my sound drivers, and not being too tech savvy I gave Troy a call. He took the time to walk me through correcting my issue and everything is working wonderfully. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking for high end parts and good quality service at a very reasonable price.

Two days into the start of an online course, the hinge on my laptop broke and was lifting the keyboard up. Needless to say, I was worried about not being able to use my laptop to complete my course that cost me nearly $900.0 and left me broke. These guys very graciously set me up with a refurbished HP desktop that was amazingly affordable! It's been over a year since then, their computer got me through the course and is still going strong.
