The customer service rep in appliances was less than helpful, turning me away when I asked him to check inventory on an item that wasn't on the shelf. He was rude and told me he had stocked the shelves himself and he would know if there were any left. He checked anyway at my request and came back with the item. He is probably costing the company money if he is doing this to other customers. I wasn't impressed!

If you're looking for good customer service this is not the place to go.. Purchase an item on line from Best Buy. Didn't work went to return it and was told that because I did it on Virtual debit I had to get a store credit. Asked could you please show me where it says that on line? Continued to argue got another person involved they tried to figure it out. Got another manager And was completely condescending. They finally figured it out. Something that was so simple. If I could give Best Buy any advice train all your staff properly before letting them get to that till.. I always dread having to return anything at this store. Next time I'll just drive to Winnipeg

Only one option available to replace fitbit charge 2 band so no product support @ $60 - ripoff. I go to Amazon where there are so many options from $10 to $30. All big box stores will go by the wayside if they continue this.

It's a terrific place to go if you like standing around for 20 minutes while employees and managers ignore you instead of offering help every time. Seriously, it's so bad that you could probably walk out with a 50" TV and no one would even notice. The only time they actually put in a decent effort is during the Black Friday to Boxing Day period. Rest of the year, good luck. I once asked an employee for help after waiting 10 minutes, was told "I'll be right with you", and then he went straight over to a lady in the next isle that had *just* arrived and offered her help instead. Honestly, it takes genuine effort to fail this hard at basic customer service. Also, their refurb. computers are hilariously scammy. I've legitimately seen them charge more for low-end rebuilds than the price of new and higher-spec'd laptops. Good way to prey on people that don't know their tech. You're better off going to another tech place in town. Any of them will do a better job than these goofballs at Best Buy.

Because the first day i went there no body was around to help at all seriously! and this is Bestbuy, So the following day i came back and i almost left again, because i needed help deciding between brands and needed overall some information about a product, So finally someone came to help me out but of course they weren't from that department finally went to the service desk to get my product i pre ordered the day before, and yes it wasn't the right one! Damm Best buy get your act together or no one will be coming for such poor service.

I went in looking for a specific item, an employee didn’t know if they had it and said he would check the computer and I should take a look around the store while he looked it up. 10 minutes later I saw him helping someone else.... I guess helping me wasn’t a priority anymore. Also, I’m not even sure why they bother selling cameras at this Best Buy store, the selection is always horrible and half of the displays are empty. I’m consistently disappointed every time I go to this store.

I bought a very expensive computer from here in 2012. After 2 previous machines literally melted down, they gave me a third. I paid a MINT for it. Always seemed to be clogged up with no space even though I only do word processing and basic stuff. The geek team at the counter always told me they backed things up and data transfer etc..... Turns out....I took my tower to a different place. The guy opened it up. THE HARD DRIVE WAS STUCK ON WITH DUCT TAPE! Not functioning. Ever. These people don't care about their customers. Don't trust them! I will never buy anything from Best Buy ever again. It's a joke.

We came here to BestBuy to play Xbox and noticed disappointed that the controllers are not working. We where told that "there is nothing that we can do about it". After 10 minutes we fixed the problem on ourselves. One controller was still broken and the staff was not helpful at all. To make it even worse, we where kicked out of the store 10 minutes before closing time in a very rude manner.

Just not a good store for computer service or selection. Very limited stock and not that helpful when it comes to issues with a PC my fiancé bought. My fiancé's graphics card failed within the first year, and they replaced it with a lesser version. They kept saying it was the same and basically said that I didn't know what I was talking about (even though I've built my own PC). Basically low quality staff with not much experience/knowledge. Don't buy here

My parents purchase a new best buy home and have had nothing but problems! First off the crack on the ceilings weren’t never repaired, the oven that was new didn’t work,took two weeks for them to repair! The customer service was nothing but unprofessional! All this company cares about is your money, customer care doesn't care about you! I pre-ordered something online and it hasn't arrived for almost a month and it doesn't look like it's going to arrive, so I asked for a refund and they don't want to give me they hanged up on me because they don't want to give me a refund and then if this was Amazon or any other site, they will give you a refund straight up rather they told me to buy a new one. And this isn't the first time it's happening.

Before I even went to talk to the woman at the customer service desk I was not impressed. I was unable to grab the woman's name but I will describe her. She had dirty blonde hair that went down to her shoulders. She looked white but seemed to have a small tan. She had glasses that were red from the side but black at the front. She looked fairly old. She was extremely rude to the elderly man in front of me. The man was hoping to get a new battery for his new computer. The woman told him, in an irritated tone, that they did not sell batterys. He was trying to work things out when she said, Sir calm down. The only reason he was getting upset was because the woman was treating him rudely. He was saying, 'I'm just trying to understand' Then! She just pawned him off to some other guy! Which is good because the man seemed to be more willing to help the older man than she was. He was tall. He was black and had black hair that seemed to be shaved but was growing back. I wish I had the luck of having him instead of this woman. My sister and I went up and she was trying to return headphones. The woman grabbed the receipt looked it over before throwing her hands up and saying, 'is this the only receipt you have?' She was unnecessarily disrespectful. My sister said yes and it went on. She did look through the receipt and gave us someone to contact before sending us off but the whole time she was extremely disrespectful. I have been to bestbuy before and I am usually treated with respect and patience. I was beyond disappointed to be treated this way. If that woman is unable to treat people with kindness than customer service is not for her.

Well they have it all. Many kinds of electronics and TVs or speakers. Slightly less of a computer section and very little in the way of computer hardware but for accessories like keyboards amd mice...they have a lot. They also have a great selection of headphones and games from ps4 to Nintendo switch. Good staff that aren't always interrupting or hovering, meaning they are there right when you need them. Plus they are very knowledgeable about their sections. Good prices amd easy to find what you need.

Very disappointed with their customer service. I bought a stove at Best Buy and called to book a service call because the oven was not turning on.. they gave me 5 phone numbers to call including the manufacturer (Samsung) which also said they could not help either because we did not purchase the Warranty. Anyhow Terrible service, cero help with a technician.. we never asked for anything else than guidance or a service. I would suggest you to take your business somewhere else. I’ll never go to Best Buy again or recommend anybody to go there. 0 cero starts. Not to mentioned I have my family visiting for Christmas and could not offer comfort food for them.

Customer service is 50/50. You'll either get someone super nice, and helpful, or someone ridiculously pushy and know-it-all. Was essentially cornered with my girlfriend, looking at cheaper 4k TV's for our room, and a blue shirt would NOT leave us alone and kept trying to test myself and my girlfriend's knowledge of various TV's despite not knowing basic things such at peak brightness, panel type, etc himself.

This is the worst Best Buy I have ever been to. There was ONE employee on the entire floor. And he was too busy flirt with a woman trying to sell her a cellphone. Had to go up to the front to request help, and they only had one person on check out, so she could leave her post. PA’d for a attendant to help me, who after 15 min waiting and then not showing up, I left.

The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, however this is not the place to go for low prices. For example, I was looking for a particular video game, and Best Buy was selling it new for $80... but right next door in Wal-Mart it was being sold for $50 the very same day. They don't even price match. A lot of things there are also just on display, theu put them up and expect you to order them through the website.

No way to call the store. I called the Help center and they said it is too Inconvenient to call the store! I can see why Amazon does so well! Best buy doesn't want to talk to their customers? I guess they don't really care about my business either! I was calling to see what Solid state drives they had in store and ready immediately. The website listed stores all over Canada but couldn't find mine. UPDATE! So I ended up going to the physical store where they had loads of 2 TB SSD drives for sale. Well the boxes were on the shelves. so I took a box and went to the till to get one, where I was told that they have none in stock. When I asked why they have all the boxes on the shelves I was told "so I could order it online" If I was going to order it online I wouldn't have came to the store stupid!! This place doesn't even deserve the one star!!

We find that there are a few staff that we go to each time as we know that they are helpful; patient if we have a number of questions and; are always ready to try and find a solution to any problems that we have. DON'T buy BEST BUY!!! My husband got this terracopter for Christmas that was having some pretty major problems from the moment we took it out of the package. Came defective. So, we take it back to best buy to get another one or a refund, whichever. Anyways, the lady takes one look at my husband and says "Once the box is open, you have to take it to the manufacturer. We will not return it once the box is open". Umm, excuse me? This is not a cheap toy for my husband, and you don't back up your products? If it comes out of the box defective, you won't return it? We have to pay for it to go to the manufacturer to be fixed? What kind of company are you? What a joke!! I will never again purchase another thing from best buy, and if you care to be treated like a customer instead of a chump, I suggest the same for you.

Best Buy price matches and has a liberal return policy. Their selection of electronics keeps me going there. Sure they do not have the huge selection of online retailers, but their return policy is much better than Amazon if a product is not fulfilled by Amazon. Many items you cannot even return or restock fees can be 20% or higher. I highly recommend Best Buy for your electronics because customer satisfaction is their policy.

Every time I have been here I have gotten terrible customer service. The people who work there were extremely lazy and didn't care how annoyed I was. Once when they had a product I wanted I waited outside the store for about 20 minutes and then they were too lazy just to go get it. They also kicked me out of the store because I ended up getting a few other people to cause a scene (totally not my fault). I haven't been back since.

Absolutely will not got back, dont waist you time going here. We were planning on buying a echo tank printer , and even a reciever and surround sound system last night. All together well over 1000.00 worth of equipment. 1) no one was around to help what so ever (and there was maybe 3 customers in the store) 2) Everything was scattered around, so if you go in prepair to look for your item in several different locations with no help from staff. 3) when we finally did speak with 3 representatives, the first 2 didnt know of anything we asked about playstations and said they would find someone, then the 3 representative came up to us and advised us that it was 9:03 yes that's right 9:03 and the store was closed and so were the tills. So even after we found our items and were going to grab them anyways we couldnt purchase becasue all of the tills were shut down. There was no warning the store would be closing in ten mins or half an hour. Just get out we are closing. Do not waist your time shopping here. We were able to go to walmart and get the printer price matched to best buy, as well as the ps4 game we were looking for was 20.00 less. So if it something walmart Carrys I suggest you go there first. We will be going else where to find our other items. If I could give you 0 stars I would, and i will deffinatly not refer this store to anyone.

As always the people make ALL the difference. Francesco is my go to guy and has been since the original store opened 20yrs+ ago under the Future shop name. I have bought many computers at this location as a result of his service and that of a couple other salespeople. Just last night I ran into the store for some technical advice that NOBODY and I mean nobody could help me with. I spent at least 15hrs searching online, watching videos on a very well documented problem with Windows; This included a 40min chat with a Microsoft tech at Mircosoft and it resulted in zero help. Within 1 minute, Francesco told me how to fix it and move forward. Stunned and in disbelief I went home and tried it and it worked. This is what an experienced tech can do and it is what in part gets me to go back to this location.

Went to buy AirPods today because my old head phones broke. I wasn't sure which ones to buy so I tried to call the store to see if I was able to try them on. But it doesn't let you call the store it send you to their customer service help line and the wait is forever. When you finally talk to them they don't know anything. So I drove with my 3 young kids to the store to just go in. I come in and ask the guys in the apple area I want to see the AirPods "we don't have any on display, people steal them, They are at the front cash just tell him which ones you want and cash out".. I don't know which ones I want. I wanted to get some advice, be able to see the product possibly try it on because I'm concerned about the wireless if they fall out of the ear easily. The guy was totally unwilling to help, no advice, no offer to go get one to show me, nothing.Then I said, If you don't let people see them or try them on if I take them home and they are falling out can I return them and he said " NO. was ready to purchase but now I will go somewhere else. Horrible customer service (I have purchased tvs and other electronics from them before and it's always the same thing the customer service is always bad, they don't care, They think because they are the biggest supplier around they don't have to do a good job. I was actually shocked with my most recent experience here. I have a $25 gift card to here which is really the only reason I keep coming in. I wanted to know the price of 2 video games that did not have price labels so I approached a group of 3 staff I saw. One of the guys turned around when he saw me and pretty much ran away. The other 2 were talking about TV nonsense and instead of saying "oh sorry, one moment ma'am" or something along those lines, they both turned their backs to me after noticing I was waiting beside them and continued talking. I sort of stood there awkwardly, expecting one of them to acknowledge me but it never happened. Annoyed, I turned around to see the till was free. I approached the man at the till and asked if he could tell me the price of these. He says "oh....alright..." And proceeds to pull his phone out. I see him open up Google and type in "best buy video game prices" Uhhhh seriously ? I could have done that. I was expecting him to, you know, use a scanner to tell me but apparently he didn't know how. I dropped the games and left. The service gets more atrocious everytime I go in here.

So far, refunding isn't that great, BUT, when I could not find a product that I saw was available (in store from their website), I reported to a worker and they gave me better stuff for the same price as the product I was looking for (cheap). I went in to find a fit bit and sadly you didn't have the have to colors or sizes which i wanted. Very poor stock when it came to the fit bit. But you have this AMAZING staff member Carmen who went way over and beyond to try and help me. She was so kind and helpful. She even help to compare the price to make sure i was getting the best price for my fit bit. She even helped me look for different color bands just so i was happy. I have never had such amazing customer service anywhere else. If it wasn't for Carmen i wouldn't have bought my fit bit there. Considering the fact you didn't have the color or size i wanted and you don't have a band that you can try on so you know your size. I really want you to know how amazing of a staff member she is. Not the biggest best buy, nor the best technology store (we all know that), but it does feature some selections. Don't expect too much from any store because there is a chance of the product you are looking for is online only. A rule of thumb is that always ask for student price discount if you are a student, and you can prove it with an ID or something. Dell and Apple offers a variety of discount, so does other companies sometimes, so definitely go ask them if anything can be discount. Do actually purchase the warranty if your laptop is either 1. end of production line or 2. you don't know too much about computers, or both. The warranty does come in handy. Also, if the product is at its end production line, then a discount may or may not also be available, so always ask.

Fantastic customer service. Way above and beyond the call of duty. Went in for some technical assistance as my phone was not receiving calls from a particular contact, and the gentleman behind the desk, Milap, would stop at nothing to fix my problem. He called my service provider, the provider of the other phone involved, and a third tech support line to troubleshoot the issue. When none of this did the job he explored our phones himself until he had sourced and resolved the problem. All this without ever neglecting his other customers in store. He and his colleague, also very capable, seemed to have a lot on their hands, but they never for a moment were anything short of extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Definitely recommend this location for any of your mobile needs.

Some of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had have happened at this best buy. As another reviewer has stated, my review isn't written with any anger, and is a rational and balanced opinion/experience. They had one till open that was cash-only (maybe due to a tech issue, which happens) and only one other till open. I was in line with maybe about 6 people behind me, and the clerk at the only open till was giving their customers a hard time about comparison shopping (they had flyers). They were at-task for more than 5 minutes. During this time, a group of maybe 8 employees were idling by the entrance joking and chatting. Someone from another section saw the lineup and starting taking customers, but only after nearly 10 minutes of being "next" in line. Another experience, while buying a computer, a clerk was fairly demeaning while offering me a protection plan, including calling me "sweetheart", which I didn't appreciate. One other visit a man was trying to solve his printer problem, and had purchased the protection plan. The store wouldn't honour it, and the man got very upset that they were refusing to help him (I would be too.) and the staff was completely unable to deescalate the situation. It was pretty bad to watch. At this point, best buy is my last-ditch-effort place, and not the go-to that in sure they'd hope to be. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I hope that by speaking up something can be done to improve customers experiences at such a large retailer.

Levi, in the home electronics department has helped me previously and this time, he went above and beyond to help me replace a TV that they weren’t responsible for whatsoever. A+ service from Levi and the staff there and I highly recommend speaking with him about any TV concerns you have. He knows his stuff, front to back and likely won’t hesitate to help you out like he did with me.

Plus the extra warranty they offer on a set of hi end head phones for Christmas 2019. Jan 6 2020 the one side breaks. My wife takes them back with receipt/box’s and all that it came with. The person asked did we drop them.???? This should have been a straight exchange!!!! But here we go. No they were not dropped our gaming son put them on and the arm that holds the over cover ear peace snapped. The person said we will email you information and set you up with free ups with in the body of the email. So my great wife drives 45min back home to tell me this story. Jan 19th NO EMAIL!!!!!! So here we go round 2 back to the store. This will make it another 11/2 hr 3 hrs total just in driving between my wife and soon me. It seems these days nobody takes responsibility.

I went in to get a cassette converter, the associate was very condescending and I felt very belittled. He kept talking to me and I just wanted to leave, as I left the sweet door man asked me a question and as I turned to talk to the door man, the associate I had been talking to FOLLOWED ME OUTSIDE. Every time I buy something from Best Buy it becomes a hassle. Today I tried to return an unopened item bought online. We have been in lockdown because of the pandemic. We are now able to leave our homes and go to retail stores. Today, 3 days after the stores opened I ventured out to return a few items I had bought online. All other stores in town have extended their return deadlines to accommodate the lockdown. Not Best Buy. They claim their store has been open for returns. They expected me to defy the provincial lockdown and break the the rules and come to their retail store just to return my product by their deadline. They don't care about the provincial health directives. They don't care about their customers. They only want your money. Worst customer service in town.

Website shows something is in stock and i can order for curbside pickup. When I drove all the way to this store they told me they dont have it without checking their systems. 6 hours later website still shows the item is in stock. A friend of mine picked up her Macbook Pro from Best Buy Kamloops. She was unable to access her computer due to a password change initiated by Best Buy. Having called Best Buy Kamloops twice and talking to an online representative of the 'Geek Squad' we were finally able to get a hold of someone. Still not able to access the computer, they were able to reimburse her with a $25 gift card but we still have to go back to the store for the second times today to get this problem fixed

Came in to the store in Brandon to buy 2 samsung tablets that are sale for 119.99. There were none on diplay so I asked the sales clerk to see them he said that it was the same as the one on display just a little smaller. As a customer we like to see our product before we buy. Half of the the things on the shelf are out of stock. “We have to keep them advertised, we don’t make the rules buddy” was the answer I got to why this is by the 4foot guy with no neck and nasally voice near the oculus stuff. Certainly hope he doesn’t speak to all customers the way he spoke to me, also hope the girl he was training doesn’t pick up on this. A little bit if decency on Boxing Day would be nice, might be angry that you’re 35 and working retail on Boxing Day but it’s not the customers fault.

Good tech store, good mobile department. Most of the staff is pretty much unhelpful though. I have literally had 2 staff members talking about their lives while I stood beside them for about 10 minutes awkwardly listening to their conversation waiting to ask a question. I have had helpful staff other times though. It is hit and miss, usually older 30+ year old staff are more helpful than the younger college age employees.

I am a regular customer of Best Buy.. mostly in Brandon MB and this is the store this review is about. I have bought A LOT there 》 Tv speaker Cell phones and accessories Dash cam GPS Etc I find the products top notch and the staff both in the store and in the Geek Squad area VERY nice / helpful and knowledgeable. I really like the fact that there are no commissions anymore so that pressure on both staff and customers is gone. If you are looking to buy a computer for instance they give you a lot of very excellent information on a chart you keep .. that addresses your specific needs. I highly recommend this store. ????

Horrible, absolutely horrible. Item never showed up on date it was supposed to. I wasn't in a huge rush, so I paid the remaining balance. They said they were rushing one in from Mississauga, it will arrive tomorrow, they'll call me. No call ever came the next day. I show up a day after that to pick it up, and it's still not there. Now I e made two trips there and wasted an hour of my time. I ask for my money back to go buy it elsewhere, and am told they can't give me my money back until the item shows up. Absolute bull. I won't buy at this Best Buy again.

The staff is annoying. They constantly harass you, or they dont know anything. And there's always so many on the floor. After a not so great day trying to figure out the best way to upgrade my phone at a variety of other locations I'm grateful I stopped into Best buy at Aberdeen mall and worked with Daniel. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it came to not only product into but phone plans and packages as well. I just purchased a new cell phone and went in this location because I was in area. This was my first time here and I was greeted within minutes entering the store. LES asked me if I needed help and I did.I was intersted in a cell screen protector,case and pop socket. Les showed me my options on cases and took me over to get protector on in a different area. He was fast and not pushy. Genuinely was trying to help me find a case I would like. Adam showed me my cell when complete and explained warranty. I would return to this location again.

Customer service is poor. Have had employees doing inventory right in front of me not even say hello or ask if I needed help. Employees lack knowledge in basic computer hardware and provide little assistance. The geek squad in Kamloops lost my laptop that was sent away under warranty. Almost a year later the store in Langley called asking if I was ever going to pick up my laptop.

If an employee decides to finally engage, they usually lack any specific knowledge, pull out their tablet and offer to ‘order it online and ship it to our store.’ And that’s why retail stores are dying. Once we got to the front of the line, the details, which were not available in any of the advertisements, said for new bell costumers only so with over and hour of wait we had our answer in less than a few seconds. My experience has always been great at Brandon Best Buy but this time I am very frustrated. We ordered a sl2 camera, bag and memory card bundle but only camera was delivered to the store. The paperwork clearly mentioned about the bundle but no one bothered to check. When we went to pick up we were told that the bag was inside the packaging. When we opened the packaging in store no bag or memory card was found. Plus we were told that they would file a claim and let us know in 24 hours. Within ten minutes of leaving store, we received a call from the store and told that we had to place claim ourselves and now we have to wait 15 days to get our bag and card we already paid for. The main reason to shop in store is for service.When we pay promptly without hesitation, the least we expect is good service.very very disappointed Best Buy!

Ok so I have now changed my review again from a 2 to a 1 because this time I purchased a phone case and decided I didn't want it. The case was unopened and unused. I went back to return it. However, I didn't have that same visa card anymore and needed to use the replacement card for the return. The red head female that was helping me refused to put it back on my visa unless I had the original card. I pulled up the online statement to prove that it was me that made the purchase. That wasn't enough for her. She offered me a gift card instead. I didn't want a gift card. The case was $65 and I wanted it back on my visa. I went out to my car and spent 25 minutes on the phone with visa to get my old card number. I went back into best buy and it was a different girl doing the return. I told her I didn't have the original card but I have the number. She says "no problem we can return it to your new visa card" I was so annoyed!! Are you kidding me? I asked to speak to a manager which took another 10 minutes and nothing was done about my issue. It took me 55 minutes with 2 children at my side to return a phone case for which there was a receipt!! Previous post. I changed my review from a 5 to a 2 after my last visit. I bought a laptop for my daughter for Christmas. The sales associate offered me the 3 year service plan for 119 the price of a 2 year plan. I took it. When we got to the register he rang the purchase in with the laptop at $70 off instead of discounting the service. I thought this was fishy but went ahead with the purchase. I later read the service plan and discovered that if they needed to replace the laptop then I would only get the price paid as indicated on the receipt which was $70 less than the actual cost. I took my receipt back and decided to get a manager to correct the pricing. Not sure if I was actually dealing with a manager but he would not fix the receipt. Instead he refunded the service plan at 119 and said the price wouldn't change on the laptop??? So... where was the other $70 I paid? I still only get the discounted price as indicated on the receipt?? I made him refund the laptop and ring it in again at the price I paid. He's lucky I didn't leave after I got my refund but instead I let him run my card again for the purchase at the actual price I paid. His reason for all this BS was because they can't mess with the geek squad numbers... so why offer the discount at all??

Then had to line up again at the front counter and wait several more minutes for someone to ring it in. 2 line ups, almost 20 minutes for what should have taken only 1 minute. The whole time there were several employees standing around the store doing nothing. Very poor customer service.

After 4 trips to the store -without ever being helped by staff- I finally figured out which new desktop computer to buy. I saw it was on sale online, so I went in to get one. A brand new $1000+ desktop computer. All the sales people disappeared as I entered the computer section. After 15 minutes I phoned the store to get the info I needed. I started with "I'm standing in your computer department now, but can't get any help" , yet nobody showed up, even by the time I left, despite phoning a store I was already in. When I finally found what I was searching for -took a while- I brought it to cash. She asked if I found everything alright, so I told her my story. She said "yeah sorry, we've been really under staffed" I told her staff always leaves when I arrive, and that I'd read many of these revues saying the same. She then told me they were no longer under staffed, but that the new staff was really shy. Maybe they were intimidated when you arrived? I asked how they ever got the nerve to hand in a resume, or get through an interview if the sight of a customer sent them fleeing? She looked dumbfounded to come up with a new excuse. Save the headache, go anywhere else.

Very poor customer service! Bought a printer on sale and paid the extra money as well for extended warranty that was hyped up by the salesmen. It stopped reading the black ink cartridges embedded microchip within the warranty period. I need a replacement as soon as possible. They will not repair it (the geek squad doesn't do printers), they refuse to give me a refund, they refuse to give me a replacement of the same model next available model or even a comparable model. I have been instructed to box it all up and mail it away for a lousy "gift card" at their store that will not replace what I had for the money I spent. Customer satisfaction is "Not their store policy"! I have bought a lot from Best Buy over the years but will take my business elsewhere.

The prices here are competitive...but.....the service was a bit shady...it seemed like guy and girl that were supposed to be helping me with my smart watch screen protector just sold me some junk that fell off 2 days later, it was easy to get my money back but they should have just told me to begin with that " they don't have the proper products" instead of telling me it was the right screen protector and charging me 33 bucks, to have it fall off and me drive all the way back to kamloops Best Buy and finally one guy actually told the truth and gave me some good info. Ordered from their website for delivery as only essential items can be bought in store due to COVID. They shipped UPS from Brandon MB to Meadowbrook Village, MB which is 5 minutes east of Brandon. UPS said that my address was incorrect (it was not) and they contacted Best Buy to get the correct address. Best Buy did not contact me at all to inquire about my supposedly incorrect address. UPS proceeded to return to sender but not to the Best Buy in Brandon where it came from but to Best Buy in Langley BC. I sent Best Buy an email explaining the situation and asking how I can get my item. Not only did it take them 7 days to respond, but when they finally did it was a generic here’s how to check the status of your order email! Had absolutely nothing to do with the email I sent them! Absolutely horrendous service from Best Buy from start to finish!

Yesterday I went into the Brantford Best Buy to pick up a Christmas gift. I really didn't know much about what I was buying so I asked for help and was told that I was getting what I needed. I came home, wrapped the gift and put it under the tree. Not sure what made me open it to double check that it indeed did meet my requirements and I was disappointed to see that the information that I was given was actually incorrect. I returned to best buy with the item today to exchange it (obviously a little frustrated). I waited a little while to get assistance and had to ask for help but when the associate came over, she answered all my questions, knew exactly what I needed to know and helped with my new selection. The product I was getting was 10 dollars more but I didn't mind.... I just wanted what I had originally asked for and was prepared to pay the difference. At the customer service desk, i received an apology for the error and they matched the price for me. I didn't ask for it and I never once complained about the service I had received the night before, I just explained that i bought the wrong one and was glad I caught it before Christmas. As a manager in retail myself, I 100% appreciated that gesture. I think it was handled extremely well and kudos to the team working today! Much appreciated!

Absolutely hated it. I'm NOT happy with the service I received, or the quality of my computer repairs, or how their systems work. We've had to go back about 3 times not just to get my laptop running perfectly again, which by the way only lasted a couple months before it broke (it was brand new, it shouldn't break after a couple months) If they could actually completely FIX their product BEFORE they give it back to the customer. I'd of rather had them keep it for a month if it meant them actually fixing it, instead of just wiping it clean. Good luck to anyone who goes to Best Buy. You're in for a nightmare.

I wish there was a 0 star rating. I went to the Kamloops BC store to find a Fossil watch, a present for a special occasion. They had none instore (no surprise at all! They never have popular items) I ordered the item at the service desk and was told that it would be about 2 to 5 days for delivery ( the time frame was the same for home delivery) I got an email saying that it had been ordered and that I would be notified when the item was shipped. 3 days later I received an email saying that my order would be delivered on February 26... later than I wanted but still workable. The following day I went online to track my parcel and it stated March 1 as the date. I contacted the online customer service chat and explained the issue to them, the service representative looked into my order and said " we can assure you that your order will be there by February 26" so I asked if this was a guarantee, NOPE NOT AT ALL. This has ruined the whole gift and when I explained this, the service representative said sorry you can have $20.00 off your next order.... Like I'd ever do this again! Update: I never did receive my parcel. 3 months later I had to go to the store and get my refund. MY ADVICE IS TO CHECK OUT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU BEFORE ORDERING. MORE THAN 250 CASES OUTSTANDING.

This is the worst place to deal with if you want something repaired. Geek Squad loses parts, you cannot reach them if you have a question because their phone system gives you the run around. Then if you finally get to talk to someone who is in a different city or country they wont be able to find the store number to place your request. I will not be buying anything here anymore. Best buy makes it difficult for people who live out of town. I had to make several trips in to deal with insurance on a TV purchased here. There could have been several simple things this location could have done to make this experience more positive. The price of the TV went up while I was waiting for this location to get the TV in stock. I live 3 hours away so getting into Brandon isn't that simple. Once the TV got in I was told, the price of the sale would not be honoured. But my insurance is, only covering what we were original paid. Then I was told they'd give me $150 off the TV if I paid $360 for extra insurance. So basically best buy wouldn't me the sale price so I had to pay 300 more, plus they wanted me to get a $360 insurance. And I would get $150 off. Not a deal at all. I had to wait a long time for carry out. In fact I stopped employees numerous times to page someone. While I waited no one came over to the customer service area for quite sometime. No one said thank you your welcome.

last week i purchased a new Haier 110 volt drier for our park model home , which had to be brought in from the Ontario store . after taking a closer look at the unit on the net, i realized it would not mount on top of our samsung washer, so i went up to the aberdeen store and spoke to the salesman . BILL.. he said he would try to find me a stacker assembly to mount it & apparantlly there is none. so today after being notified by Purolater couriers that it was at there holding store in kamloops , i drove to the Best Buy store and talked to a person in charge & explained to him, what had happened & they completely reimbursed me the full amount inc taxes. Bill was off today with the flu. Thanks Folks for the excellent service & I will be shopping there again

After my experience, I do not feel you even deserve a star. I purchased a brand new laptop in April/16 and it completely shuts off and I get advised it is not your company's fault and there is nothing you can do. As a single mother attending University (this is someone else's account) and working part-time, it was astounding one of your employees told me to buy a new lap top. Currently I am in the middle of essays and exams for this term and the only equipment I have to finish school is the laptop I purchased a mere 15 months ago from your company. There is not even a scratch on my lap top, which indicates it was well taken care of, which was also recognized by one of your employees. So lets think about this, there is no damage to this lap top, it literally just shuts down with no logical explanation from your team, I am then advised I have to pay to have it accessed, when clearly it has some kind of default that is out of my control. So my question is how is this my fault? Why is it I get a defected lap top and have to pay for something that was faulty?

I am a very rational and factual consumer. This review is not written with any anger/ emotion but rather to inform fellow consumers. Our customer service experience was one of the poorest I've experienced anywhere. My fiance and I moved into a home where there were no appliances hence our purchase from Best Buy. First, they chose a delivery date without consulting: one before we even had possession of the house. Then they tell us it will be the day we move (Friday) or the next (Saturday)- this is great and we are very appreciative. The appliances department calls us close to the date to inform us it wont be until the following Tuesday (all these while we are without a fridge to store food, stove to cook, etc.). When I inquired as to why, I was told because the company only delivers to our area on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the associate proceeded to defer blame - "you had to change the date" (yes because we didn't even have the house when they set the delivery date without asking), "the delivery company told us these dates we have no say", "the manager in our department has been with appliances for 20 years it couldn't possibly be a mistake on our end it's probably a receiving error" (as in my fiance). So I calmly ask for the contact information for the delivery company and take the intuitive myself of trying to solve where the breakdown in communication was. Best buy's delivery service was helpful- they told me these have always been their dates for delivery in our region and they would call the store to see if there was anything they could do (compensation for all the meals we are purchasing since we have no means of storing or preparing), which I appreciated because up until this point I have been calmly liaising between the two. The appliances associate calls back and she ensures us they want this to be a good experience so they are going to pay for a company to deliver the appliances in the evening on the Tuesday when we will be home from work, without hesitating to mention "it's going to cost us money but we don't care about that, we want you as our customer to be satisfied." Very kind. It is now Tuesday and I received a call at around 10am that the company is at our home when we are both at work ready to deliver and they can't do so obviously because we are not there. I will be inquiring about where the breakdown in communication was this time. Maybe we misunderstood what was promised us.

Not a great experience. As a former Best Buy employee, I'm familiar with their customer service model and sales tactics. After researching a suitable laptop for my wife to use for schoolwork, we went into the store to get a hands on feel. While looking at the laptop in question (a $279, 14" HP Stream), we were approached by a salesperson who informed us (prior to even introducing himself) to stay away from that laptop, as an $80 android box could do the same thing. It's interesting, because I wasn't aware an $80 Android box was a transportable, note-taking, word-processing, email-sending machine. Without any knowledge of what we planned to do with this laptop, we were told not to buy it in favour of something that would not meet our needs. Poor customer service, coachable moment for the staff to get back to basics, and inquire about the needs of the customer as opposed to ignorantly inputting a personal bias. We ended up buying on Amazon.ca instead, as it was cheaper, and offered a more affordable and comprehensive service plan. RIP big-box stores.

My faith in customer service has been restored after my experience at the Kamloops location Best buy. A laptop I ordered was shipped in and to my unfortunate surprise the screen was damaged! So I brought it back that same day a little worried that they may not honor my word about the damage. Thankfully the geek squad/best buy employees, Michael and Brandon, were more than accommodating. The original laptop I bought happened to be out of stock so I couldn't replace it, but instead they helped me find another one, which was a bit more expensive, and made efforts to compensate for the alternate outcome. I am so pleased with the service I received. I dealt with Michael and Brandon in the geek quad department, and Summer at the front desk. Such amazing employees, thank you so much!

Visited Brantford store one week ago and after 20 minutes of attempting to find a sales associate in the computer dept. I left. Today I returned in a second effort to purchase a laptop computer valued at in excess of $1000.00, however, after 25 minutes and 4 sales people telling me they'd be back in a minute, I went to a sale rep in appliances who did his best to describe the computer features until he could grab a computer sales person. I inquired as to the best price for the computer plus a printer and was quoted the full price for each. They then advised that they had 2 but they were reserved and didn't know when they would get more. I left the store, called the Ancaster Store, reserved 1 of the 4 in stock. When I arrived the sales personnel were very attentive and when asked about a compact printer was shown the HP @ $89.99, which was the same model shown in Brantford, and advised that it would only cast $29.99 when purchased with the computer. The sales personnel were very knowledgable and responsive, unlike those in the Brantford Store. I will take the time to go to Ancaster from now on.

I had the most AMAZING customer service experience yesterday, I went to the mall to price out new phones. I checked a few places, and went into to Best Buy mobile to ask what my options would be, explained my phone wasn't working properly and Lucas asked if he could take a look at it. absolute worst customer service i've ever encountered. drove up to pick up a receiver the site says was in stock only for them to not be able to find it ( this has happened several time ) would have called but they dont pick up the phone.so as frustrating as this was i can deal. so the customer service tells me they can have it shipped to the store and gave me a date the he said it would be there. it wasn't. so i went in with my receipt and asked to be refunded only for them to make zero effort and say they cant do it and that i have to wait for it to come to the store then pick it up then return it. so i wasnt too happy. spoke with customer service online and they dont do anything to help. so i went and bought a receiver else wear( brant stereo which i highly recommend ) went today to collect my order to return it for them to tell me their covid policy as of today means they cant do returns for 28 days. all could have been avoided had my money been returned when i asked. was a life long customer and now i'll never shop in that garbage store again

We went in today to buy a laptop, after returning one we bought a week ago, return went smoothly and no issues, laptop didnt meets our requirements, we were helped by Kris first time, lovely lad, very friendly very courteous and helpful, keep it up Kris, customer service is everything in Retail and you were great...today we were met by Jordan to choose another laptop, he was very knowledgeable, friendly and a massive help in explaining why it was necessary to go a little higher in price to get what we need, and with the pre sale boxing day sale, it was possible, his customer service was by far the best I've ever experienced in retail! Was ready to do a deal on $3,000+ worth of appliances and was pulling the card out when I just thought to ask if the delivery guys would move my old appliances down one flight of stairs! This store has some of the worst customer service and forward planning I've ever come across. During BOXING Week of all times they decided that only one til needed to have cash in it. So because of this, I spent over 10 mins in line watching as customer after customer walked past me to one of the other tils, to pay with debit. While I watched the poor girl at the one til with cash in it having to help a customer with some sort of price check or something, it was something she was obviously having difficulty with but no senior staff members came to assist as she had to leave her customer at the til to go and find someone to help, and after returning she still continued to struggle. Before the first til worker that said that they couldn't help me finally sent me over to customer service because that's where the only other cash drawer was up front. This experience should prove to be a massive embarrassment for this company and maybe they should get a better vetting program for their staff choices, when it comes to management that is, as the problem clearly stems from there to begin with. All in all, I'll never go back now because there was no apology, repercussions, or compensation of any sort.

Complete joke. January 4th I left my laptop with Geek Squad to get fixed. As per the tech, he said it will be approximately 2-3 weeks. Fastforward to February 16, over 5 weeks later, the online tracker finally says the product has been fixed and has been shipped back to the store. I go to pick up the laptop and it is not fixed, returned to me the same way I left it! Apparently there was no part for it. 5 weeks it took them to tell me theres no part? So now i need to waste another month and send it off to a company that isnt run by amateurs. Consumers beware, this company is honestly pathetic

We bought a new big screen TV and paid for delivery/setup. Since the tv has arrived at the store, we have been called 5 times to pick it up - each time telling them that we have paid for delivery. Their response? "You can return the tv" Finally had a date for delivery, with a 9 hour timeframe!, and no one showed up and no one called. Went to the store to see what happened and they said they cancelled the delivery because they had no staff - even though there were 3 Geek Squad staff standing right there!!!!!!

This store is fine in terms of instore service, but their phone customer service is absurd. I have never in my life known of a business not answering their phones. This has been going on for years, and obviously by the other reviews this is a problem at this location. About a year ago I mentioned this to the manager that I was talking to and they recognized it was a problem. Clearly nothing has changed. Yesterday I called a dozen times to respond to a phone call they made the day previously to my house and no one answered the phone. How can someone call the store about ten times throughout the day and no one answers?! Even when talking to the staff, one of them mentioned that when they had to call back about a job interview they ended up having to just go into the store because no one answered the phone.

They make you feel inferior while in the store, and when I got my products home it was not what I needed/had asked for. In an electronics store I hope to be in helpful, knowledgeable hands. No one ever answers the phone. They should just disable that function - It’s pointless calling the Brantford store, just don’t bother. Every time I go in staff that aren’t working the counters are usually chatting between themselves and run for cover when you attempt to nail one down to answer a question - either that or the store is deserted and all staff are clustered around the tills and service counter. The website Reserve In-Store button is either purposefully disabled or broken half of the time. Best Buy, don’t advertise in-store pickup and reservations if you’re unable to fulfill the service.

Times have changed. When this was Future Shop many staff could answer specific questions and seemed to have more specific product expertise in their respective areas on the floor than this new generation of kids they are hiring. Went in 3 times in the last 2 days and got a lot of "um's" & "ah's" when directing a few questions to 3 diff employees. Each employee could not answer one question I had for them without referring to their cellphones and the companies website and even after doing so were unsure and really never did answer any of the questions I had. I find myself constantly having to do the legwork and answer my own questions in many many retail stores now Many seem very unsure of themselves and have little product knowledge anymore. Only once have I talked to someone that seemed to keep up with the evolution of the product tech in his section when I bought my TV a few months ago at Best Buy. Ever since it went from a commissioned retail chain to non-commissioned format employee drive to enthusiastically help you out seems to have dropped right off the charts. Went in on a mid-January evening looking for Printer. Very slow time of year for retail storefronts and this was no exception. Maybe 3 customers in the store. Strolled around in the section I needed while listening to 4 employees just a few feet away chatting it up. No help for over 10 minutes. It's no wonder people are turning to online only and abandoning "Brick & Mortar" shopping. Most of the prices at Best Buy are rarely competitive enough to take notice of to boot...Its a shame physical storefronts are dying a slow and painful death and this will be no exception if they don't start hiring exceptionally knowledgeable staff that aren't lazy

I was very upset with the service at Futurshop today, I am a valued customer, and have spent over $4000 this year on two 3D televisions and they couldn't even put a copy of the game I have been waiting for, On HOLD! Terrible customer service both from the store level right up to the customer service call center. They do not tell you, or have any signs posted indicating the policy that any curbside orders cannot be returned until the stay at home order is lifted. Like people have commented before they do not answer the phone, so I drove to the store only be told about this lack of return policy. But the employee assured me that I could call in the return and do it via mail. This however was not the case, as per the call centers information that is only allowed on ship to home orders. So either the store doesn't know what they are saying, or the call center doesn't. Amazing I am told the large call center only has 1 supervisor as well... impressive. Terrible service and zero communication or care for the customers. Lost another customer Best Buy. Congrats.

So then I go to the next number, geek squad, it's the exact same recording. Then I try calling the 1-800-geeksquad number and it's not even a valid phone number. There's too many numbers!! I call the 1-866 number and they have absolutely no record of our purchase for a 60" TV that cost more then 1,200 in store that was supposed to be delivered to the store more then a week ago. Their only solution is to go into the store with our receipt. Someone was supposed to call when it was delivered. And I had to answer the the lady FIVE TIMES when the expected delivery date was. I sat on hold with her for over 30 minutes while she admitted to me that she had no record of any of my husband's info, email, phone number, receipt information etc. Then tried saying she can't give me any info because I'm not an authorized person on tbr account. Even after she just told me that she couldn't find any info. Why on earth are consumers paying for services that aren't even available to us? You pay for geeksquad but you can't get access to it. The store says they'll call you when your order's in, but then they don't so now we have to pack up the kids and go into the store just to see what the status of our order is that was supposed to be here over a week ago. Best buy is a J.O.K.E!!! ????‍♀️

No one answers the phone at the actual physical location and in fact you can't even call them at the store you want to go to, to get items! Yet when you go into the store in person, they have lots of people standing around looking bored! Feels so disconnected and impersonal. Not sure if I'm really getting the correct answers only via the 1-866 number, but if I could actually talk to a person at the physical store, I'd feel much more assured on whether they had what I was looking for or not, before going in person! If there's any reason Best Buy goes out of business, it will be because of the poor customer service and disconnect between what they say is in stock, when it really isn't, and vice versa!

Unethical business practices, a pre-recorded phone loop if you attempt to contact the store (disgusting), refused to provide a replacement to my faulty air condition under the extended 2 year warranty, repeatedly lied regarding a resolution (promised repair and temp replacement my brand new air conditioner that only functioned for 2 days, but did not fulfil their promise), management that have been stripped of power and authority by head office to resolve complaints, a head office that does not provide a means of communication with the managers other than email that are only addressed in 5 business days, virtually no quality assurance on their own signature brand Insignia (stopped functioning in two days and a phone agent expressed that this was known, but not resolved). My experience with Best Buy customer service was absolutely appalling. In my opinion, this company's disgusting approach to saving money has completing removed any and all customer service even with the extended warranty. I would highly suggest never purchasing anything from this corrupt, unethical and immoral organization. To submit this review, I was forced to select 1 star or it would not allow me to post, I would not even have given them one star.

Took my parents there to purchase a laptop. Was greeted at the door. Very pleasant young man, asked what we were shopping for told him a lap top and he pointed us in the right direction. Found the item we wanted to purchase.ooked for assistance. No one was around. Asked the door for some help he said I'll call someone. Waited again. No help!!! was waiting to look at camara's, Stood there at the counter for 45 minutes while the employee working the counter helped the people there before me....Then the next person and the next who came after me....and the next....so I was pretty irritated by this point and all I got was attitude from the manager...I was trying to express my frustration and he says.."I am not going to listen or debate you, Do you want to see a camara or not?" By this time I was pretty angry and told him no I will take my business elsewhere, He said "fine" so I left. I went to Henry's and bought my camara...And was treated with respect... there are plenty of places to buy anything that future shop sells...and that's where I'll be doing my shopping from now on...Good riddance!

I dislike this store. Staff is generally ok but quite a few go out of their way to avoid you. They have a policy ( I've been told) to keep video games they are sold out of on the shelves. Then you wait in line forever just to be told they don't have that product. Why are there things on the shelves that you don't even have !?!?

My 18 month old fridge that I purchased at Best Buy failed. They wanted nothing to do with me. Yes, it's a manufacturers warranty but seeing as you sold it to me and profited off of it, it would be nice to at least offer some help. Then there was the range that I purchased only to find out later it was on back order and it took about 4 tries to actually pick it up after I was repeatedly given a date to come pick it up only to find out from obviously confused staff that they couldn't find it... I won't be making any major purchases at "Best" Buy anymore.

Id have to only give it a 2, there was no customers in there and it took 10 mins for someone to help, went to buy an hdmi to c adaptor. Its a multi adapter to also charge your phone, but does not charge at all, now i still cannot use my projector, i wanted to test before buying but the kid at the desk said i gotta buy it first, plus it was sitting in a spot labeled $20 but was actually like $70, not impressed when I got home and it didn't work since im not from brandon and now gotta make a trip back in. If I dont get replaced or a refund ill never shop there again.

S7 Edge stopped working for no reason at all, put it in my jacket. Walked to my car and voila it's dead. Brought it here on the same day. I was told its water damage and I have to pay a deductible fee and wait for 5-7 business days. Disappointing. Went home, googled possible solutions. I talked with 4 representatives. 3 tried to be helpful. None knew what they were talking about. I walked in expecting to pay $100. I found the product, when the first guy pointed in the general direction of what I needed, and surprise, it was less than $100 so I was all set to purchase. I just needed help getting the product specific to my machine. The 3 staff talked it over and decided that they didn't have what I needed in stock. Came back home to research and found, after 5 minutes on Google, that the one I had in my hand while I was in the store was actually what I wanted in the first place. I triple checked to make sure because I'm thinking there's no way they ALL got it wrong. I guess they figure they're the only game in town so no need to try.

I was in to buy a gift and I knew exactly what I wanted I just needed someone to grab me a box from the back if they had one. I waited for 30 mins and no one came. Then I asked a young guy if he could help. I guess grabbing boxes from the back wasnt his "expertise". He said he would send someone to help out. No one came. This is why big box stores like this are awful. You get young kids who dont care and why would they if theyre making min. wage. I would recommend going to a mom and pop shop like East Hamilton Radio because they know there stuff and at least they pretend to care. They will take care of you.

I decided to purchase me first TV from best buy. The gentlemen that sold it to me was great, up sold me on a wall mount and a warranty. Once I tried to install the wall mount I notice that most of the hardware that was included was missing. So I went back the next the to exchange it. I did so no problem. Once I got home I realized they exchanged it with the wrong one. So I went back... they were sold out of the original one I had purchased. tried to up sell me on the next one. once I explained my frustration they decided to order one in for me. It arrived, I went to pick it up and it was the wrong one... again. Each visit was at least 35 minutes and I spoke with a minimum of 4 representatives. Nobody seemed knowledgeable and kept passing blame on the computer system. Everyone seemed to have wasted my time instead of stopping, admitting that they don't know how to do it and asking a manager for help. Not to mention the amount of employees standing around and chatting while the rest struggled.

I purchased a brand new tablet...the tablet I received logged into someone else's account/received email notifications when I turned it on, it was a used tablet that they hadn't wiped yet. I asked for a manager to help me answer some questions about a google home that I wanted to buy for my girlfriend, the manager was super impatient and seemed almost offended he had to answer my questions like I was wasting his time....?? I asked the customer service department how it would work to finance an Apple Watch and an apple laptop, this woman frantically pushed an advertisement in front of my face and said to follow its instructions and walked away...??? All their prices are online, their customer service is LAUGHABLE. Just buy whatever they have online instead of in store and save yourself the headache lol. It’s the only big Best Buy in Kamloops and they act like they are gods gift. Total joke.

My desktop pc was making squeeling noises so I took it to future shop. The repair shop said it needed a new fan. I was charged a deposit of $280.00 upfront. I called 3 weeks later and was told my computer was sent out to Sony and should be back in 3 days. I called after several days to ask if my computer was back and was told Sony can't get the part, but they will check on the internet to see if they can find the part from somewhere else. I called back a few days later and was told the part is not available anywhere so they can't fix it. They then offered me a discount to purchase a new computer which I declined. I picked up my computer, they charged me a 60.00 service fee. After I brought my computer home, my daughter noticed the that the tiny screws holding the back panel still had the factory covers. She removed them and unscrewed the back panel. Lo and behold, the fan was covered in dust. Futureshop's repair dept had not even bothered to remove the back cover to look at the computer. My daughter purchased a canned dust remover and cleaned the inside of the computer. It's working fine now. Bottom line is, my computer sat in the "repair dept" for almost 2 months untouched. They didn't even bother to open it. All it needed was a cleaning. I will never set foot in future shop again.

This review is based on my experience with the sales staff in the computer section. I was in recently looking to buy a new computer. I was good to go, guaranteed sale, even had which computer I wanted in mind. I waited for probably 10 minutes in front of the computer I wanted, as the two sales reps were with other customers. One finished up, looked at me, wandered over to his terminal, chugged some water, and walked away to chat with his friends in the Geek Squad section. He then started stocking headphones or something near the front of his section. The other guy kept talking to the people he was with. Understandable, but no move to call for someone to serve me or even acknowledge my presence. I walked out, and took my computer to a local repair shop, who got my computer up and running for LESS than the price I had been quoted by Best Buy (I was told it would be cheaper to buy a new computer). Moral of the story? $300+ in sales walked out the door.
