In my books John is amazing He not only ungraded my "old" computer but put in a new hard drive MS 10 cleaned it all up and it now runs like it's brand new I suppose local and an more than happy with John's work Besides he carried the computer out put it in the car brought me the credit card machine to my car window You don't get that service at the big box stores

I had serious issues with my PC, took it to several different places including Memory Express and Nobody could fix it....A friend recommended John to me, so I went there to get my PC fixed that I use for Video and Graphics edeting. Sure enough I get a call within a few hrs from John that my computer is all fixed up and ready for pick up, i was shocked and very pleasantly surpripsed that it got fixed that quick. Top notch service over @ Bit by Bit, I will highly recommend this palce to my family and friends.

Sister needed her laptop keyboard repaired. Bit by Bit held the computer for over a year without answering emails or phone calls, or reaching out what so ever. Finally got it back and it's not repaired + missing parts. Bring it to memory express now to get it repaired and get replacement screws

Wasn't sure about this tiny inner city shop, but you can't judge a book by its cover. John (the owner) is great! He is honest, knowledgable fair, very helpful and stands behind the work that he does with a warranty. Couldn't be a happier customer and because of that, I've already told all of my friends and family about his shop should they have any computer issues in the future.

This place is the worst, literally, the worst. I brought my computer in late August told the owner that it had fallen and that I wanted to see if I could get the info off the hard drive. He said that it should be no problem and that he'd call me the next day. The next day came and went. Then the day after that and the day after that, next thing you know a week had gone by and not a word. So I called, no answer. I drove by middle of the day about 1:30ish, not open and locked with the bars over the door. I tried again the next day and hos voicemail was still full. Decided to go by at 10 am, low and behold not open. There was actually another person waiting who shared her horror story of dealing with the guy for over two months trying to get just an answer. As we were leaving John, the owner was just pulling up and when confronted told me he couldn't tell me what was happening and to come back later, he was too busy. Fair enough. Go back later, closed. No answer. Full voicemail. I was starting to get mad as this was about a week and a half after dropping off the computer. Finally went in one day and he was open. He told me that he could not get the info off the hard drive, no big deal. I just wanted an answer and to not have my time wasted or feel as though I was being messed around. Then he tells me he can put a new hard drive in for $65 and make it better, so I said, yeah. I mean who wouldn't want a $65 computer, or I could sell or give it to someone. Well, start the same cycle all over again, another 2 weeks of not being able to get ahold of the guy and then when I finally do, more excuses. This time, the CPU was fried and couldn't be fixed, at this point I was done playing with him though and asked for my computer back. Low and behold, its not on site, HE DOESN"T EVEN FIX THE COMPUTERS ON SITE! he tells me his "guy" has it and is trying to fix it. I told him IO wanted it back by the end of the day, but never even bothered trying to go back in and deal with this fool. Oddly enough, no calls, no text, no email. I guessing he just took the computer and used it for parts. THIS GUY IS A CHEAT. Plain and simple. And it is not the first person I have heard this from now. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

I have recently visited the place. The service was amazing. I had a laptop which was not turning on. The tech guys of Bit By Bit diagnosed the laptop first and they informed me the charges. The charges was very reasonable. They returned my laptop in couple of hours. I thought all my data will be lost, but I found all the data are intact. I really appreciate there service. The most important fact is they are very professional and trustworthy.

I know he's always giving me the truth in requirements for repairs and often tells me a more cost effective solution then what I've suggested. They replaced the screen (as in, the whole top cover) of my MacBook Pro (2011) ... they gave me the option of a new part or a used one... I chose the latter and am extremely satisfied ... it looks and feels brand new!!! They also cleaned out the inside around the trackpad (no charge) and it feels like butter now... BRILLIANT!!! They also replaced a screen on my daughters iPad... inexpensive and perfect. I am 100% satisfied.

I took my MacBook air (11" 2015) to bit by bit for repair, he told me that my logic board was fried (which is impossible and untrue) and when I asked for it back he told us that would have to get it back from his repair man, which took about 2 months, I then took it to a reputable Mac book repair shop. They discovered that the original logic board was replaced with another logic board that wasn't mine, he also took other parts that were not soldered on properly. Basically he stole parts off my computer with different part that didn't belong to my computer. When I confronted John (owner) with this information, he was very sympathetic. He said he would phone his repair guy and find my board. After endless calls and back and forth with John telling me he was on it and he would do the right thing after months of this I finally told him he should pay for the repairs on the laptop and that I was fed up with all his excuses. He stopped answering my calls. I called him finally from a blocked number and he told me that he has contacted the police because I was harassing him. John is a very dishonest man and he should not be fixing anything. I also explained to him that I was a young person that had saved up for this laptop and that it was very important that I have it for school. Beware!!!!!! I also have pictures and data to back up my story if anyone is interested.

Had my Mac book wipes due to viruses. All data was put on to an SD card. No problems. How the data was put on to the Sd card is the issue. Now when I want to access my photos, I have to open on average 3-5 sub folders and each folder only contains two photos. That’s a lot of folders for over 80gigs of photos. Not impressed.
