LONG STORY SHORT: I WAITED FOR A MONTH FOR MY PHONE SCREEN TO BE REPAIRED. THE OWNER DID NOT REACH OUT TO ME DURING THIS TIME TO AT LEAST KEEP ME IN THE LOOP DESPITE HAVING SAID INITIALLY THAT IT WAS NOT GOING TO TAKE LONG. WHEN I ASKED IF HE CAN COMPENSATE ME FOR THE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE HE SAID THAT IF I'M SO UPSET HE'LL JUST PUT THE BROKEN SCREEN BACK TO MY PHONE SO THAT WERE SQUARE.
Long story: Possibly the worst customer service experience I have had in a very long time. I visited this place to get my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone screen repaired on July 6. The owner told me that it would take a couple of hours to repair. He also said that the he was expecting the new batch of ordered screens anytime soon. A week passes. No update. A couple of weeks pass. No update. I call him to ask on 7/16. He says there was a shipping delay. That's all that he can say. While annoyed that he had not even tried to reach out to me, I accepted it because it was not his fault. Another week passes. Still no news. I call him again on 7/24. I left a VM. I then call him again on 07/30. At this point, I have not received any other update. So, I receive a call today from him saying that it was ready to be collected. I told him that I was not impressed by his customer service because it had been a month of me trying to reach out to him despite him being the one responsible to deliver on the delivery expectation that he had set. I was hoping that there could be some form of compensation (or at least an apology) about how he had dealt with my request. He said that it's not his fault because it was shipping delays. I told him that it was his fault because as a customer, I deal with him. If he experiences shipping delays, he has to at least let me know so that I am not just waiting on nothing. I was in the dark about a transaction that normally takes a week for a whole month. He tells me that if I am so upset, he will be happy to put the broken screen back. HE WANTED TO PUT THE BROKEN SCREEN BACK SO THAT WE WERE SQUARE. I told him that I don't know what kind of business he's running. Note also that this whole time I was talking to him, I was so calm. I even laughed at the prospect of him returning the broken screen only to be upset to learn that he was being serious.
