Purchased a charger . Didn't require it after my employer replaced it next day. Was not even used still in the box. Well who wants to buy a charger cord? Since store won't refund it.
Best computer and Mac repair shop in Edmonton. Some of their services include laptop screen replacement, power jack repair, virus removal, data recovery and backup, hard drive cloning and upgrades, motherboard repair, RAM upgrades. They also service IMAC and MacBooks. Used refurbished computers also available to buy. Wholesale computers and PC parts as well. Servicing also St.Albert, sherwood park, Millwoods, Leduc and area.
These guys are awesome miracle workers! They fixed my laptop in minutes! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and have great customer service!
Professional, patient, fair pricing and very responsive. I tried calling many before I found them and nobody returned my call. The IT guy is very knowledgeable and honest.
I have a new computer goto. The service by all here was exceptional. Danial the tech person I spoke to was very helpful and understanding. He had all the answers and made us feel confident in all he suggested. I'd give them 10 stars if I were able.
Very nice place and good service and fast the guys are so nice,I like it. Went there to fix my computer and it took like half an hour to replace the screen????????????????
Broke my laptop. They fixed it the same day!
Great service.
I trust these guys to repair my laptop at a fair price
Can't say enough good things. Easily accessible storefront, friendly, knowledgeable staff, very reasonable prices, and super fast turnaround times. I get anxious taking my work laptop in anywhere but I felt safe leaving it with the guys at PCwoop. PS, Ray is amazing!!!
Great shop. I walked in half expecting a dingy old dark store with some music elitist behind the desk ready scoff at the handful of records I brought in for trade, but I got exactly the opposite. Super clean, bright, shop with a beyond nice owner working the desk. Gave me a more than fair price for my records while I snooped around. I'll definitely be back when I want to start collecting again!
Definitely recommend them. I had an issue with my laptop and decided call around before going in anywhere. They were one of the only places that gave me straight forward answers and they were even willing to sell parts separately for a decent price. I ended up bringing it in to be repaired and they had the repair done after only a few hours.
They are over priced knowing that they are one of the very few computer stores in Edmonton they have inflated there prices cause they are the only store that offers certain products.
very efficient, very reasonable, very good service, very good product knowledge and very reliable. No hesitation in recommending to anyone.
Good service and at a reasonable price, got my unit back up and running in a reasonable time, wish I had found these guys prior to the other clown I had tried. Thanks William
The manager was very nice and very informative. He open up my 2017 Mac Book Pro to see if he could upgrade my memory but unfortunately he couldn't because Apple is dumb like that. But he blew it out with compressed air and told me it was free of charge. That was very nice of him, I'll definitely stop by if I actually have an issue they can fix.
Great. Service! Fixed my screen! Good as new!
Always prompt and very helpful. Despite them not having the parts I needed to fix my Wacom tablet (they focus on the actual computer parts), they still took the time to figure out problem with it and gave me tips on where to find what I needed.
Great service. Definitely recommend.
Great service, brought in my dead laptop to get the data off. They got it done in one day for a reasonable price.
I brought a failed hard drive in, and they were able to connect with a local service provider expert to get the data restored. It cost what they said it would, though it took a little longer than expected. I'm very appreciative of their services.
These guys are the real deal. If you are reading this, stop doubting their expertise or prices, give them a call. Take it from someone who never leaves reviews.

Good place to go to get laptop repairs. Not expensive.
Great service! Professional staff!
Brought my laptop in after it flew off my laptop stand onto the floor. They took a bit to diagnosis it but at the end they were able to find the issue and fixed it. Price was very reasonable. Saved me tons repairing it rather than replacing it!
I bought a used laptop a year ago and until now it's got no issues whatsoever
Very great experience! I took my touchscreen all-in-one desktop pc to be repaired. They got it back to running like new. Will definitely be back!!!!
They work good and fast, they changed my laptops's screen in less than an hour. I am very pleased!
My computer is running and back in action altho it did take quite a long time to get it fixed.
For some reason, my laptop motherboard stopped working and I tried a couple of stores in order to fix it. except PCWHoop, they either asked for a lot of money or suggested me to buy a new one. Pchwoop did amazing job and I got my laptop back on the 2nd day right after. Good price and the best services. I give them the thumbs up. Strongly recommended.
My laptop is having fan issues and these guys are able to clean and fix In a few hours. Another popular repair advised me 3 weeks. A local cab driver recommended this shop and just trusted it in instinct. Highly recommended, more affordable and resolves the issue faster.
I brought my computer to pcwhoop because my hard drive died, but they charged me to tell me they couldn't do it. Went to a different place instead. Staff was impolite and take forever coming up front to talk to you.
Fixed my broken Dell spacebar on the spot! Very satisfied, friendly service!
One good repar shop.
Unfortanetly no zero star to give this horrible business. First They chage 45+ GST before touching your pc. I paid it then asked me to call after a week. When I called the guy told me they didn't check it yet and asked me to call next day. Next he said he will check it at the end of that day. They told me MAYBE charge input jack is not working! I came and collect my laptop. After getting home I realized that the charger was missing. I called the shop and he said first they can't find it then he found it. It will take 19 Km 25 mints driving there. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Unprofessional staff. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.
Great customer service. Helped me out when no one else could
Fixed a laptop that others said couldn't be fixed and wouldn't even look it. Repaired on time, and for a great price.
Fast, Friendly, good prices for repairs and used computers
Checked out my mac book for free and instead of filling out a work order for them self they recommended that I go back to my last company that I used for warranty work. I appreciate that level of honesty and integrity.
Very expensive didn’t solve the problem
No idea how to find your part
My goto place for PC repairs and good quality, fair priced refurbished computers and hardware.
I got some bad advice from another place that said I have to replace my charging pin and that he could not find it anywhere in Edmonton. I called these guys who told me it is even cheaper to replace the entire power jack and that they have one in stock. They replaced it for me that same day and my computer works perfectly. I thought I had weeks of waiting for a part from ebay ahead of me but because of PCWhoop, my problems were solved that very day for a very reasonable price. I will definitely return to this store if I ever have problems again!
They changed my operating system to Windows 7 with chrome goggle and replace the hard drive on my desktop, happy with services and cost !!
I’ve been very patient with this store but now my patience has been wearing thin, and have been causing me so much distress that I need to write a review. Finally. My laptop has been in this store for almost 5 months. Five. Months. First time we brought it in they said they could fix it in less than a week. A week goes by and because of covid I don’t expected any store or company to be as responsive as usual. Didn’t even bother calling for updates the first two weeks. A month goes by and I talked to a chat support (through their website) and said that they couldn’t fix it at the store and it was sent to a warehouse (? I don’t know what this means but okay). They said they would update us in a few days. Two weeks goes by so WE call them. Said they were waiting for parts (we weren’t informed of this because of zero phone calls on their end to update US) overseas and it will have delays because of the current state of the world. Understandable. I mentioned the no update/phone call issue on their end, and the customer service person on the phone explained the laptop’s issue well anyways so we let the lateness and lack of updates go by that time. The convo went well, agreed to wait, and they said they would call us on Monday. A week goes by, two weeks, three, no phone calls or updates. We email them and it’s the usual response: “sorry you have been waiting a long time. Shipping delay etc etc” December comes and no update. It’s the holidays so ok. Remember that in the span of 4 months, the only time we got updates was because we emailed them, and not vice versa. Everytime we would call, it’s the same. Waiting for parts and so on. Two weeks ago we got a call that the parts arrived, but they can’t fix it because the part that arrived isn’t actually the laptop’s issue. Also note that this is the first time the store has called us, ever, for an update. We were disappointed as usual, but tried not to lose our cool because we understand how services are weird right now and there are lots of shipping issues. The person on the phone was also thorough in explaining that if we decide to not get it fixed, they won’t charge us for the parts since they won’t use it anyway, but if we still decide to get it fixed, they will figure it out and give us a call on Monday. Again with the Monday’s. So we go, “ok so it’s been months that our laptop has been there anyways, now you figured out it wasn’t xx part you needed, but if you will still work on it, update us ok?” And yes, you guessed it. Two weeks went by. Not a word. I emailed them this morning asking for update and I get a reply saying they are waiting for parts that will come at THE END OF THE MONTH. And after they get the parts, they can start a new repair plan. And even after that, they won’t know if it will work because it may be a different issue. Also.. What parts?! Didn’t you already get the parts (THAT WE WAITED FOR FOR FOUR MONTHS!!!) but realized it didn’t work so now you are working on it. We never get any clue what they are working on because we are not tech people that’s why we went to your store for services. But you need to update your customers!!! I finally decided to not get it fixed and just get my hard drive. After almost five months. You guys can’t just NOT UPDATE people for months. at least call once, hell, once every two weeks? Also note that the initial visit, the quote was it will be done in a WEEK, and they will charge us $180. So now it’s been months, and “parts” have been ordered. And we are out of the loop because we have NO IDEA what they are doing with our device.
Don't bring your computer here. My HP was brought in to have Windows re-installed as I was told it was corrupt. This was to have taken two days. Four days later the computer was ready and it worse off than before (after a $75.00 bill) They basically did nothing. Now the CD driver won't open and the computer doesn't even recognize it has one.
These guys are great. I've been there a couple times. Super helpful, work fairly quickly-- also, I'm pretty sure they provide a 3 month guarantee, so if the problem isn't fixed, you can take it back and they'll have another look at it. Definitely have saved me buying a new computer a couple times now.
Excellent and knowledgable service. Would definitely recommend.
Great service
PC Whoop was the only laptop repair shop that was able or willing to fix the broken hinge on my touch screen laptop. It took a few weeks for the part to come in, and there is a slight bend on my computer where they popped it apart, but overall I was very pleased. Once the part came in, they fixed it quickly and there were no cost surprises.
Excellent, professional, quick, efficient service was provided. I recommend this company to anyone in need of laptop to PC repairs in Edmonton!
The guys at PC Whoop are great... excellent, friendly, knowledgeable service and economical. Highly recommend... they fixed a major problem in less than 24 hours that a competitor said would be too expensive to repair!!
nothing but great a experience at this PC repair
Brought in my laptop with a cable error. PCwoop kept my laptop for over a week, eventually diagnosed the issue (which was clearly a hardware issue) as an accelerometer driver. They charged 50$ and watched a music video on my chrome. Issue persisted with absolutely no improvement. Edit after response: I finally made a review after I got someone else to fix the problem. Once they fixed it quickly and easily I was unimpressed enough with PCWhoop to leave a review.
Great service. Got my laptop serviced for an SSD upgrade and now is faster than ever. They gave me a great advice at a competitive price.
Excellent and expedient service!! I will use this company exclusively... Very fair in their repair rates as well....
Dan installed some extra ram in our laptop. In a matter of minutes, made sure everything was running good. Excellent service. Thanks
Professional
Friendly customer service. Honest and straightforward in what needed to be repaired.
Needs more hats!!
Computer is currently waiting on parts and in their possession. But as of now they have been communicating regularly with info and status of where its at. Unfortantly the type of screen my lap top required had to come from across seas and will be a while in this current situation we are in. Again they have been very informative on progress and what is going on.
Very good and I am pleased of the professional service. Just to say they only deal with computers only.
I love this place because i had trouble it was small thing and i just forgot about that but today i got call from manager and he said come over let's figure out and he just refund for every my money i didn't expect anything but they trying fix problem even small thing im so honestly recommend this place im so happy Thank so much
An honest, knowledgeable computer guy.
Great customer service. Definitely going here again if I need any parts or repairs.
They repaired my laptop entirely within a couple days, they fixed things I hadn’t even requested fixed for a cheaper price than I was quoted. Will definitely come back for any future needs
PCwhoop are life savers. I accidentally drenched my Macbook Pro in water and within 24 hours they had my dead laptop up and working again. PCwhoop went above and beyond to get my laptop fixed and I would recommend anyone needing any repairs to make PCwhoop your first stop!
150 bucks and 4 weeks to replace an ASUS keyboard. Promised me two weeks and charged for $ 50 and forget about me until I have to fight through calling. Missing several screws at the back is an issue.
I took my Laptop in was told it could be repaired, didn’t mind paying the small amount at the beginning before they started. When I picked up my computer there was no indication in the conversation before they started work or when I picked up my Laptop that everything was wiped clean, everything saved was gone, I called back that evening, if course it was later & they were closed & indicated my dismay on how everything was gone.. this was on March 7th until now March 18th I have not heard a reply, since that day I have not touched my Laptop it is an empty shell, I had a 2010 Microsoft when I took it in & now 2007.. VERY disappointed in this companies service & no reply. Linda
Spilled water on laptop, pcwhoop fixed her at a very low coast and they were also very fast. Thanks guys
After being quoted at $1100 to fix my water-damaged keyboard and corrosion under my keyboard for my MacBook Pro 2017 at three different computer repair stores, PC Whoop replaced my keyboard and cleaned the corrosion underneath my keyboard for $375, including labour, cleaning services and the cost of the new keyboard. I was quoted at $500 for just the keyboard at the Mac store. Thank you PCWhoop!
Great service, Does not have the parts needed in stock was however willing to spend the time to locate and give me direction do a competitor and purchase the components. Very honest.
paid half the price that I would have paid at best buy to get my laptop screen fixed. affordable and very fast service. they also fixed my dvd drive that was stuck even though I didn't ask them to, at no extra cost. Highly recommend!!
they are really trying their best to fix my macbook air. Thanks guys
I brought my laptop in for repairs I got my laptop back and the mouse pad would not work. I called in and they told me to fix the sensitivity and that did not work. I tried to call them again to contact them twice about my mouse not working at all and I left a message on their machine about my mouse pad not working. I waited almost two weeks to get back an even more broken laptop. They act all professional and polite but I have a feeling that was just an act, pretend like they know what they are doing
$380 to replace my MacBook keyboard and touch screen. Several screws from inside and outside of the MacBook were missing. Welding instead of screwing inside( too big to fit inside) made the touch screen couldn’t work well, but the shop refused to provide any further support. Have to go to Apple store, spent another $300+ to replace the keyboard and touchscreen again. Never go to the shop again????
Was able to drop off my system and pickup the next day! I requested a laptop cleaning and to fix a potentially broken (very loud) laptop fan. PCwhoop was able to diagnose and repair the fan without needing any new parts; saving time (would have otherwise had to wait for this special part unique to the laptop) and money. The tech also gave the system a thorough cleaning/dusting; even removed the CPU/GPU heatsink then applying a fresh layer of thermal paste to both chips. My gaming laptop runs quieter, cooler than ever - like new again! Thank-you.
Dropped off my computer was told it would be a few days for a diagnostic , 2 weeks later no call. Only way i heard anything is if I harassed them. Told me my laptop couldn't be fixed, took it elsewhere got my computer back in 48 hours fixed for 50 bucks. Bunch of crooks
Very friendly staff and good service.
Sent my Alienware laptop in to get serviced. They had the computer for two months before realizing they couldn't repair it. Got no updates from staff outside of my own calls during this time. Only refunded 50% of my diagnosis costs. - Your reply is unacceptable. In this time i've already ordered a new motherboard and got memory express to install it while your still waiting on parts ordered three months ago.
Friendly and helpful with great prices.
They were a little slow to repair my laptop, but did an OUTSTANDING JOB!!!! I highly recommend this business!!!!!
My keyboard was having issues and these guys were able to fix the issue within 4 hours for a surprisingly small price. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be going to them if I have any future issues with my laptop!
Service well helpful and staff very helpful. Would definately go back.
I brought in my computer for mainboard replacement, and cost me way less than I expected. Will checked me in, and did the mainboard replacement within the same day. Definitely took me away from the other computer fixing place in town. : D
There's a reason this company scores so well in google reviews: Shawn is awesome! I'm so glad I stumbled across him. He totally fixed my computer for me when it was on the brink of becoming unusable from all the viruses. And he did it all remotely so I didn't have to even leave the house, and he did it for an amazingly low price! Highly recommend.
I little explaining issues to the counter clerk but returned my equipment working which is what mattered
Replaced the hard drive of my laptop. Good service and professional work!
Second time we have used PC Whoop. They are very friendly and knowledgeable willing to take the time to explain the issues with the problem and how to avoid them. This is great for me as it all goes over my head and I have no patience computers. We will continue to use this folks and recommend them to all who need fast, patience and knowledgeable computer work done.
We've now been to PCwhoop twice and both times were fantastic. They are clearly knowledgable about what they are doing, provide quick service and clear in their communication. I would certainly recommend them and would definitely go back.
Friendly and helpful
I had a problem where the 13 year old and incredibly Obsolete laptop I was using died. It died right before I could due a backup of very important information such as my passwords and the manuscripts I was working on. I was faced with losing Everything, including losing years of work as an author. A Nightmare that made me feel physically ill. I searched around, reviewed and checked out some places, found PCWhoop and contacted them. Not only was the price Very reasonable (and much lower than I was worried about as my budget offers little room for extras) but they achieved a complete recovery of all my information from the old laptop's HDD. You can easily imagine how relieved and happy that made me!! I am now looking to do a post-purchase upgrade of the RAM on my new laptop, contacted them about it and they got back to me in less than 24 hours. 1; They answered all my questions and gave me the information I need to plan this upgrade into my budget 2; They told me what would be involved regarding the mechanical side of things to do this upgrade and again left me very satisfied and feeling very secure in choosing them for help anytime a computer issue comes up. They're honest. They don't try to baffle you, they speak plain and make things understandable. Their prices are VERY reasonable for the high-calibre service and customer service they maintain!! They have a level of customer service that is--bluntly-speaking--superior to any of their competitors I checked out prior to engaging them for the data recovery. They leave you feeling secure when it comes to addressing computer issues. Solidly Professional, friendly, and when you ask a question you get a complete answer in plain language that allows you to really understand what's-what so you can make a properly-informed decision. To PCWhoop, Thank-You!!!
Good prices, friendly service. Fixed two laptops for me. Just wish they followed up with me a little better, but otherwise I was happy.
Brought my pc in as it was freezing up and using 50 gigs of data a day. They said it was my hard drive needing replacement. $250 later and nothing. Nerds on the way came to my place and removed malware and all good. Will never go back or refer anyone to this money grab.
I took my eight year old 27" iMac computer to Westworld computers because there was no picture when it was turned on, just a black screen. You could hear it turning on with the familiar Mac "Bong" and the you could hear the processor going, but no picture. The Westworld technicians told me immediately that it needed a new screen, but Apple didn't support my eight year old computer any more, so there was nothing they could do. I took my iMac home and it sat on my desk for several months. My son told me he had noticed a place on Gateway Avenue that fixed Apple computers. So I did some research and discovered the place was called PCWhoop. Strange name but I decided to take it there and left it there. One of their technicians eventually looked at it and discovered it needed a new GPU (Graphic Processing Unit) . The unit was installed and I am now writing this review on my good old iMac. Thank you to the technicians, especially Patrick, at PCWhoop. Great job.
Charge diagnoses fee and keep us waiting for 4 days. Then tell us they don’t know where is the problem and of course they couldn’t fix the computer. The diagnose fee is non refundable. Be aware of you time and money!
I visited this shop today as my keyboard wasn't working. They were very professional and helpful and did not feel "sales-pitchy". I did not end up leaving my laptop to get fixed this time, but I definitely will be back if I need repairs next time. They felt like people I could trust! Thanks for your help today!
They're patient, honest and the pricing is fair. I strongly recommend their services
STAY AWAY! Took my laptop in for repairs because it would periodically freeze. They returned it to me 7 weeks later and now it does not power up and they say they cannot do anything. To add further insult, they offered me $50 cash for it. Over the 7 weeks they had it, nobody could ever tell me the status of my computer. Told lie after lie and was provided an endless string broken promises, ultimately returned my laptop in a much worse state than when I brought it in. Asked several times for a Manager and was never contacted. The most incompetent & dishonest business i've ever encounter. STAY FAR AWAY!
Very good service
The service was incredibly poor. I sent my gaming laptop to the store for repair in December 2018, and it has not been repaired until July 2019. During the period, They called me and asked for a maintenance fee of $414 , and then they said that if I want them complete on time I need to pay $1200~1500 . I don't agree that the cost has trebled and allowed them to delay the completion. As a result, it has not been repaired until now. During the period, They also proposed to acquire my gaming laptop with about $200. My gaming laptop second-hand price is over $1200 !! They borrowed a computer for me during this period, but it didn't work because of many incompatibility issues. There is still no other solution. In short, my computer is still in this store, and the problem is still unresolved.
The technicians quickly diagnosed my dead external hard drive and recovered all my files. I'm very grateful for their quick and efficient work and they were able to help me not lose five years worth of information. Thank you
The guys here were great! They fixed my laptop in a couple of hours and it was cheaper than everywhere else i looked. They were friendly and I would definitely recommend them.
Excellent experience! PCWhoop fixed my laptop within 2 business days for a completely reasonable fee. Had me confirm all was working 100% before I left. Deposit went towards total repair cost. Could not recommend more highly! Thanks guys!
Had a keyboard replaced, great pricing even considering what it'd cost to get online and install myself. Service was very honest, gave me advice that saved me money even though it would mean they would make more off the the service I originally asked for. Really I don't know what else someone who needs a laptop repaired could ask for.
Left my laptop with them in October and it's still there. They called once after 2 weeks to tell me what needed to be done and then nothing. I've always been the one reaching out for an update and have always been told that "the tech will call you back". Never have I been called back by the tech, ever. I understand the constraints with Covid going on but they can atleast call to update their customers once in a while. Waiting to call this week and just take my laptop back to bring it elsewhere.
This is a cool place, staff are very skillful and helpful, and price are reasonable. Unlike other places, quote you a cheap price and adding more, end up way out off my budget! Man, Pcwhoop staff are awesome! They actually tell you if the computer is worth to fix or not, if is not worth it, I still can get some extra bucks from that trash! Great place! Thank you!
My laptop screen crushed. Fixed there, good service, fast job and cheap. Thank you.
They did a great job on my water damage on laptop, the staff was friendly and very communicated. They also have an app that allows you to see the status of your laptop which they keep updated. The price was way cheaper than I thought it was going to be, would recommend.
The service is good and reasonable. Repair in time. Their work time is very convenient to access.
Really good service always willing to help with prompt repairs would recommend to anyone!
These guys soldered some new capacitors onto my washing machine CCU board. Very quick, timely and cost effective! If you do not trust your own soldering skills, bring your board to these guys!
I had a two laptops, one with a broken screen and another one with viruses. Both laptops were fixed at a very good price and the service was fast. They had the laptop screen in stock which other places in the city did not have. Great place to go for computer repair in Edmonton.
I took my Mac laptop into them today and thought I would need a new mother board because that is what apple told me. Well they were wrong the guy looked at it held some buttons down, I think he reset it and it works just like before. I will continue to take any issues I have back to them they are good.
I needed a simple repair done on my work laptop. I called multiple businesses and was given outrageous quotes and prices. I was even told that I had to buy extra parts and provide my own parts for the repair. I called PCwhoop. They were able to do the repair (without me having to order parts prior to taking it in) also, the turnaround time was phenomenal; far less then any other place I called previously. Professional staff, polite customer service and their price was exactly what I could afford. If you need repairs; consider taking your computer or laptop to PCwhoop. They helped me get back to work, ASAP with a low-cost and friendly repair.
I have had by Macbook Air and my IMac repaired at PCwhoop and I have always been very satisfied with the work. They have provided extremely fast service at very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend them.
I had a laptop I've had sitting for two years with a hard drive problem and finally decided to get it fixed. Found these guys on Google search and what an amazing experience. Great people to deal with they were very fast in fixing the issue and I spent a significant amount less than I anticipated on repairs and upgrading the hard drive. Thank you very much and I highly recommend these guys and will continue to have my laptops serviced and fixed in the future. Great Job!!!
Excellent and quick service. My friends laptop HP screen was broken. Repaired in a little more then 2 hours. Had touchscreen got touchscreen in it. Support you local SME, and not the big box stores. Do your repairs here.
Been going there on and off over the years
Brought my Asus Zenbook into service for broken screen hinges. Got it fixed no problems within a reasonable time frame. Been using it for a year and no issues what so ever. Went back to buy a cheap used monitor and it's still working so that's great! Would recommend. Nice guys working there.
Quick and accurate assessments, fast repairs, fair pricing.
Troubleshooting and diagnosis on my high end gaming desktop, found the problem quickly. Diagnosis is 55 dollars, if you choose to have them repair it, that 55 dollars is credited to the account. Repair was much cheaper than expected. They also had a USB to SD card adapter that I was having a hard time finding. Highly recommended, they don't jerk you around and fix whatever the issue is.
Got my dell power jack replacement here. Only take 1 day to finish. Very fast service and the price is reasonable.
Wonderful service and very friendly guys. I spilled tea on my laptop keyboard, brought it in Friday afternoon and picked it up again on Monday. Very fast and good pricing.
Brought in my acer i7 for a simple node repair. I was delighted until 15 min into using it the laptop shut off. Brought it in today and I get a call that my mother board is shot. I'm now out 110 AND a $700 computer. Absolute SCAM NEXT DAY UPDATE spoke with tech and could only offer the money I paid 110 to a refurbished computer. Also found out he lied about the manager/owner. Told me he just stepped out of the office after being put on hold to get him. In actualyity the manager\owner has been on vacation in China for 5 months. Still an ABSOLUTE SCAM!
Did a great job, and very affordable.
Took 2 laptops and a desktop in for repair. The guys did a great job on all three, all is fine now. Great bunch of guys to work with.
They were quick and efficient. They fixed my laptop in a few hours time
They fixed my office PC that I also use for IRACING, which another computer repair shop said the motherboard was fried. Highly recommend.
Brought my old laptop in. I couldn’t get it out of safe mode. Fixed it in 10 minutes while I waited. No charge. Wow.
Answered all my questions very quick, and precisely.
Very good service for repairing my laptop. Well recommended. And you could get what you need for parts. Professional and excellent trouble solving service. Reasonable price of buying a second-used laptop for my daughter, you can't believe it. I really appreciate that they helped her find a good laptop for her homework and research.
My laptop wasn't working properly. After going to a couple different places (and paying them some diagnostic fees) no one could give me a straight answer or do the work I requested. These guys diagnosed the issue very fast and replaced the power jack the same day at a very reasonable rate. Their customer service and communication with their customers is top notch. They also stand by their work and warranty it. I highly recommend PCwhoop and will continue doing business with them.
Fast and affordable service! Patrick was very thorough and elaborated well on the procedures we needed to get my laptop fixed. You do half the payment before the labour and the other half when the service is done. Patrick was super chill and kind! Probably going to be my go to person now for any computer repairs.
Earlier this week my computer quit. Dead. No power. I use my computer for all my business and personal stuff and for our classic rock and country band Crossroads that is based out of Red Deer. I need it every day dealing with clients and gigs. Anyhow, my husband was going to Edmonton in the morning and so went online and found a computer repair place in Edmonton. PCWhoop! He went there the next day, dropped it off and they gave him an idea right away what was wrong. When he was back in Edmonton the next day he was able to pick it up fully repaired. I am more than impressed. The last place I took my computer for repair it sat on the bench for 3 days before they could even start to look at it and then several more days to get it repaired. This has always been the norm in Red Deer for computer repair; slow and frustrating. I am so happy and so impressed with PCWhoop. It is worth the drive to Edmonton to get that kind of amazing service. Thanks everyone at PCWhoop!! Thank you!
I gave my laptop to them last year and they used half year to fix it and they told me they can’t fix it at last. They even lost my 16g memory bank. I asked them when they can pay my lost, they told me they will but no specific time. Until now i don’t get my memory bank back.
PCwhoop has got to be one of the greatest laptop repair shops in Edmonton. i am extremely surprised on how professional and polite the workers are. they offer outstanding service at a reasonable price.
Had a Laptop screen replaced here and was very happy. Fast, affordable and good workmanship 5/5. Thought I’d bring in a Micro SD Card here to retrieve the lost data on it. I was told they couldn’t access it but might be able to in 5 months, (with a new machine they were planning on purchasing). 5 months later no call or follow up and now they had apparently lost/misplaced or given my card to another customer? I was finally able to get the Card back, (with no retrieved data) after pursuing the issue and calling to complain 3/5. In all fairness to PCWhoop, I believe the Data Recovery aspect of their business is done 3rd party which may explain some of the confusion.
