Poor Customer Service - we had a ransomware scare and called Michael for help. Unfortunately he does not like to return phone calls even after I called Head office and asked them to get him to call me. I could not uninstall a Webroot program they had installed on my computer - and there was no help on his part aside to tell me to contact the tech support myself. Left me out to dry when all of this could have been avoided with one simple phone call......there are better and more reactive tech services out there.

Driver of a "nerds on site" vehicle on their way into okotoks in the dark on highway 2 almost drove right into my vehicle. I had to drive on the shoulder to avoid being hit.

Avoid at all costs. My laptop was running loud, assumed it needed a new fan so called them. Insisted I needed a new hard drive and it would take a day to fix as I needed it for work. Took over 10 days, so I had to do without a computer. Got it back, didn't work at all and still ran loud. Tech suggested that I just buy a new one after spending over $500 to "fix" this one. Had to buy another computer because I am working from home. Called and complained enough to get my money back, so thry wanted their hard drive back. They picked it up and then I got it back and then they said, oh you need a new fan and how much they would charge me to replace the fan. Hasn't functioned properly since and will be taking it somewhere else to fix. So even though I got a refund I had to buy another computer and the one they worked on isn't functional.

This is the first time I have called for service for my aging home computer. I am so pleased Mike Duffy answered my call and came to my home yesterday. It was very helpful to speak to Mike on the phone initially to describe my computer issue. Mike was great, he assessed the problem very quickly when he came to my home and he worked efficiently to apply the remedy. He explained things in a way that I could understand. He came prepared with an item that we thought may need to be installed, however, it wasn't required. Mike didn't try to 'up-sell' goods or services to me in any way. Also, I was very comfortable in asking Mike to advise me as to my router strength and he provided recommendations which I will be asking him to perform in the near future. I am 100% confident in calling nerdsonsite again and will be requesting Mike specifically.
