It's like going for a tire change then getting your car back with the engine light on. I had Claudio changed both of my laptop fan. Don't get me wrong he installed the fan just fine but suddenly my laptop wasn't running smoothly as usual when all he did was replace the fan. So i went and opened my laptop, to see that the screws on the gpu wasn't put on properly. 3 of them were loose. Him being a professional knows exactly what would happen if the screws weren't put on properly and maybe he was hoping that i didn't know how to open a laptop and avail his service again because i went to him for as simple as a fan replacement. Looking at the reviews, looks like i'm not the only one who experienced it. So if you have experienced this, you most likely got ripped off. He purposely does this to people who he thinks doesn't know much about computers.

My blood pressure was going through the roof while dealing with Dell's frustrating support service based in India. For the sake of my health, I looked for someone local. Claudio scheduled service at MY convenience, in the evening. He immediately diagnosed the problem(s) with not only my hard drive but also the memory cards and cleared up the problem with one of my internal fans. I am pleased to report that my 6 year old computer is running smoothly and my blood pressure has returned to normal. The price he charges is very reasonable considering the quick diagnosis and professional service.

Started off good, and went downhill from there. Had a screen replaced on my laptop that failed, which is fine as he came back to fix it. I also paid him to do a quick analysis on another computer so he was not put out by coming back. When fixing it I gave him the wrong laptop so we had to switch it around. My fault. In the process he broke the screen unfortunately. That was over two months ago. I have called about 4 times now and the owner keeps feeding me baloney that the screen is being ordered and his supplier doesn't have any. I have been extremely patient. Not once has he called to let me know this and have been without my laptop. He may be OK for the easy quick stuff, but when there is a problem that requires a little more attention or work it seems to fall off the rails.

I sent an email asking if they could repair a laptop, got a message back saying to call. When I called they didn't answer, and I missed their reply phone call. I followed up with an email to see when we could have another call and asked for some specifics about the repair but didn't get any reply. I tried calling back a couple days later and got connected to someone who was driving and clearly didn't want to talk to me. While being rude and unhelpful on the phone, he told me that he would respond to my email with the answers to my questions as he obviously couldn't lookup details while driving. Still no response to my email. What a waste of time.

I do recommend Nerds2You for people during COVID and those unable to travel, however, when Claudio arrived at my home, over 1 hour late he was very belligerent and put me down many times with rude comments which I didn't bother arguing about. He asked me what search engine I used and I told him Yahoo which he said, wasn't and maybe I didn't know the difference between a portal and a search engine. Again, I didn't want to argue, however Claudio, Yahoo! is an Internet portal that incorporates a search engine and a directory of the WWW. If you want a put-down service, then Claudio is the perfect technician. I got very tired of his so-called intelligent put-downs that I cut short our appointment and when he presented me the bill for which I feel I was overcharged, as to the real-time he provided his service, between answering his phone calls and not deleting all the background stuff that was left and still running on the programs he was supposed to have deleted. It's nice that he provides this type of service, but I don't want him in my house to tell me how smart he is and how dumb I am. I have during my professional career, started and ran many large companies over my 45 years in business, and no matter how smart Claudio thinks he is, I would have fired him if he treated any customers like he treated me! Claudio, came and initially was good. He got my sage up and running and that was my major concern. In the process my office software was lost. I called him and requested he come and locate and reinstall the files. he was reluctant but did come. He did nothing, but left me a note to say that I would have to buy a new program. I called him and asked why he did nothing. He tried to tell me that he spoke to another worker who told him that he did not know if we had discs so Claudio left. I asked him why he didn't just call me. He tried arguing to defend himself, once he became belligerent I hung up. I got someone else in to fix it which took about 10 minutes. Not impreessed with this Claudios customer service, or lack there of!

Claudio diagnosed my desktop's dead motherboard, and after some research found that replacing it would cost as much as I paid for the computer 5 years ago, so he gave me some advice on what to look for in a new desktop. He came back to set up my new computer and transfer files from the old hard drive and gave me a discount on his second visit. Excellent service! All in the comfort of my own home. Claudio from Nerds 2 You reviewed photos of my broken laptop and sent me a quote for repairing a broken hinge. I emailed to go ahead with ordering the part and the repair but never heard back from him. I sent 4 emails, left 3 voicemail, and called daily for 2 weeks to try to get a hold of Claudio to see what the next steps were. I highly recommend not using Nerds2You. For me, it was a complete waste of time. I will be seeking out another company to do the repair.

This guy first told me my Hdd was fine after running a diagnostic program and checking his phone for the first 15 minutes of my visit. Turns out after 1.75 hours the hdd is not operational.. wow.. I called this guy to get me out of trouble with BSOD and he did nothing. Just wasted a bunch of time fiddling with the drive and never getting it to work. I lost all my original data and all this guy did was fix up the partition on another old drive backup hdd to get windows re installed . End of the day extremely disappointed and unsatisfying, I thought at the time he might do something for me with the billing but no. He also told me he is not formally trained , go figure, avoid this snake oil salesman .

The guy was 1 and 1/2 late for the appointment, no apology. He was rude and didn't ask questions about the computer. Worked on it for awhile, said it was fixed, charged me $120 and left. 3 weeks later - same problem! Called him back, he said no couldn't be the same problem it has been 3 weeks! Really??? Absolutely the worst service I have ever encountered anywhere!! Claudio failed to obtain the needed part ( even though I was paying for express shipping) and he never returned my calls or responded to numerous voicemails and emails . In over SIX WEEKS that I was in Edmonton my computer never got fixed and he knew it was essential for my work . On my second to last day I called again and the part was finally in (although he never contacted me about it) and I was desperately trying to book a time with him and his phone cut out !! ( This is the third time this happened while I have been on the phone with him) BUT HE NEVER CALLS BACK. I bought another computer ... because I was waiting for him to get the part I ran out of time to take it somewhere else. I was advised by other repair shops that it would take max two weeks to get the part. I lost a lot of money by not having my computer fixed and he knew my predicament but he didn’t care enough even to call back or keep me updated. I have never ever encountered such abysmal customer service . DO NOT CALL THIS GUY!!!

The FIRST time I called this company I will admit that I was somewhat worried about the service, price and a lot of other things. (Not like walking into a business.) What can I say, he was great! I had a problem with my computer that even tec support was not able to solve and he was at my home the next day, able to locate and correct the problem and helped me out with a few other things on my network for a very reasonable price. Nerds 2 You owner Claudio came to my house to replace the broken screen of my laptop computer. I made phone calls before deciding on the best place to go to. Claudio gave me the fastest possible service. No one else was able to replace the screen as quickly as Nerds 2 You. The service was excellent, and I never had to be inconvenienced by taking my laptop to a workshop because Claudio got the new screen, took it to my home, and replaced the screen while at my home.

I initially contacted Claudio after finding his good reviews here. He made a prompt appointment and showed up on time the next day to diagnose my laptop issues. He seemed efficient and knowledgeable, but not friendly. He gave me a detailed quote for the parts I needed, took a deposit, and told me that it would take from 1 to 3 weeks for my computer to be fixed. After 3 weeks without hearing from him, I tried contacting Claudio a number of times through phone and email. He never responded to my email, and it took six attempts over three weekdays (including unanswered voicemails or finding his voicemail box full) before he answered his phone. When he answered the phone he told me that the parts for my computer had arrived "just the night before!" and arranged the follow up appointment for install the next morning (this morning, at 10 am). He didn't show up. This cost me a morning of work. I waited an hour after our appointment time, then tried calling him 3 times between 11-noon. He finally answered, and told me he'd forgotten to schedule the appointment but would be right over to complete the install. He arrived promptly, installed the pieces on the computer, and responded to my questions about reboot issues in an extremely condescending (if not insulting) manner, before taking payment, after which he stared at me and asked if I had any other questions. It was extremely awkward, and I wished he wasn't in my home. I told him that I didn't want to ask him any more questions (although I had some) because he had already been condescending and dismissive. He stared at me and said "thanks for the input. I'll be sure to work on that." After Claudio left I started to clean up the garbage that he left behind, and was surprised to find a shipping receipt for the parts he ordered me. Though he did stick to his original estimate, I hadn't realized that he was upcharging almost 90% on the parts he ordered. That disappointed me. I give Claudio the second star because, in the end, he did know how to fix my computer, and he stuck to his estimate. When he was actually here working he was efficient and seemed knowledgeable. I would be very reluctant to ever rely on him again for service, or to have him in my home to do any work for me. Overall, I disliked the experience of hiring Claudio very much, and wouldn't recommend his service to anyone, based on my experience with him. Edit: Claudio, I read your reply. I have (of course) the ignored email record in my gmail history, as well as all of the missed or ignored/unanswered calls in my call history. I could post that picture now, but what difference would it make? Your response speaks for itself. You did say that the parts would take 1-3 weeks, but at the three week mark I hadn't heard from you and you proved extremely difficult to track down. And the specific receipt you forgot (with the rest of the garbage you left for me to clean up) was for a laptop fan. Your estimate of my cost: $50. Your cost: $28.50. That's an 88% markup. Again, I could provide a photo to prove it, but what's the point? I'd rather just tell everyone the truth about your service and billing, and let them make up their own minds.

Claudio replaced faulty power pack in my iMac upon his advice it could be repaired. Once replaced computer would not function without going into sleep mode every 20 seconds. Got charged 110.25 for follow up with unsuccessful remedy. Had OS reinstalled still no fix. In the end could not find solution so made $530 investment into fix and ended up buying a new computer. Disappointed. Wasted my time and money.

Going to echo the other one star review. Called with a cracked screen and he sounded amazing. Told me 2 days tops. Met him, he had the part. I show up for him to fix it...and he had ordered the wrong part number. he tells me to give him a few days, I wait a week with no communication and ask him for an update. He ignores me. A week later I call, still no response. I ordered my own screen through Screen Surgeons and got a guy with Dr Geek to do the install. Took a few weeks for the right screen to come in and Dr Geek had only one issue, it being a clip was busted on my laptop most likely from this nerd's bumbling. Dr Geek still got me going despite the ineptitude of other hands on my machine

I used Googled to find Nerds 2 you, when I called to set up an appointment I received a call back within one hour. Due to COVID thought it would be better, safer if he came to me. My laptop just stopped working, my hard drive needs to be replaced I was told. Because I was not interested in replacing the hard drive I was ignored. He saved everything on my USB. I was told I would get a receipt. I paid $177 and I'm not sure what that covers. I have called and text multiple times without a call back. My guess was if I was going to fix the hard drive I would have gotten a receipt.

Guys out there, I was about to bin my laptop because of the overwhelming troubles it had given me. But before I did, I just remembered that I had someone who left me a business card and that was 'Nerds 2 You'. I booked an appointment with Nerds 2 You to come and fix my PC at home. The technician came in and turned my PC back to it's original time when I first bought it. I am not acting as sales rep for Nerds 2 You but just believe me that what I am saying to you is true to the best of my experience. Claudio has been to my home a few times, he is greatly lacking in people & communication skills. His attitude & arrogance are second to none. You dread calling him but he did his work well with exception of his last visit. I would be further advanced if I had not requested an appointment & $94.50 richer. I was informed HE recently paid $500.00 for his new piece of equipment!!! As he departed he informed me he changed Google bcause it is out dated as they have not improved it for years. Ask first. The favorites list is in Google. When I received his follow up email, I phoned to inform him the problem had improved but is not resolved. Also I have lost many options I have enjoyed over the years. I suggested we wait another week & I would check back with him. In the mean time I am unable to copy pictures from a memory card to PC, no favorites list, unable to open iTunes, music, among other issues. Two visits to Telus & one to Apple have been helpful. The second follow up phone call to Claudio was not pleasant. There would be a charge as he rudely informed me the problems I have encountered or options I have lost are from nothing he did. Strange! He did not mention the original problem is not resolved. I am the only person to ever use the PC. I cancelled the appointment. I am in my late seventies, not a computer whiz also not computer illiterate. I paid once for the service call the problem is not solved, I should pay twice? Up to this point I highly recommended this company to many, that has altered to a negative response. Why not an email message rather than a follow up phone call? It would be convenient to have written copies of all messages.

I dropped my sons laptop and the screen died. I thought I was going to have to replace the whole laptop, but Nerd 2 You was able to get a high quality screen, and came over and fixed the laptop. Very professional, good communication, good work. Cost was as quoted.

Just a short note to express the great service Claudio provided. Computer issues that involved our complete home network were handled in a very professional and friendly manner. From desk top to laptop and including the set up of our network, Claudio spent the time to fix all our issues as well as offer some tutorial lessons. His patience with all our questions makes Claudio our 'Number One Nerd' (our Computer Geek as my wife affectionately calls him). Plus he comes to your house!! We will not hesitate to call the next time we need some computer assistance.

Claudio was amazing! He was very thorough and professional, and was able to fix my very broken laptop with a tune up and re-installing Office for me. The price was much better than Geek Squad and he did everything within a couple of hours at my house, rather than leaving my computer with someone for days or possibly a couple of weeks. Claudio was also much more forthcoming with his pricing than the Geek Squad was. He was about a half hour late, and a text would have been appreciated, however his work more than made up for the timing. Thank you so much!!!

I would not hesitate to retain Claudio again for any home computer problem. I had a perplexing and irritating problem with my Outlook E Mail account. When I contacted Claudio he immediately offered me a choice of some appointment times. He then attended to my home precisely at the agreed time. He fixed the problem quickly and answered all my related questions. And his account was very reasonable!

My computer was running slow and had all sorts of pop ups and annoying stuff happening. I did my research and this company had some great reviews as well as a great rating on the Better Business Bureau. I called and got an appointment really quick as well as an accurate quote to get my computer running normal again. (I was charged exactly what I was quoted) I was more than impressed with the service, very professional and friendly. I didn't think my computer could ever run that well again, it was like new, runs extremely fast now and no more annoying ads popping up. I highly recommend this company to fix any of your computer problems.
