I am disappointed. The service they gave was fine, as others have already explained. However I barely caught in all the lea gal reading they had me do before I signed my phone away that they DO NOT use Apple glass. I was ok with this. So I signed. What they didn't describe or maybe I missed it was the fact that while wearing polarized sunglasses, you cannot see through their glass to see the screen of the phone. With my previous apple glass on my iPhone I was able to use my polarized sunglasses no problem. But now with their replacement glass I can't see my screen at all. I have to remove my sunglasses each time I want to see my phones screen. I work 8 hours a day wearing sunglasses and have only a few pairs, all polarized and use my phone constantly for my job sending emails etc. Also in my recreation time I can't take pictures while out (I take many pictures) while wearing my sunglasses and have to remove them to do so. I would have paid the little bit more money to apple to get their real glass had I known all this before hand. Disappointed with the quality of the glass, ok with their service.

I went to the Centre Street - Chinook branch in Calgary of iBroken after seeing their website saying "best price guarantee." I asked the man how much to replace the battery on my iPhone 6s and the man pretended to look at a price list and said it would be $89.95. That's almost 50% more than the Apple store of $65. When I asked the man why they charge so much he just shrugged and said that is the price. I would stay away from this shop - they clearly engage in predatory pricing hoping the customer is not knowledgeable about pricing. Update - gotta love the reply from iBroken below: "Yes, we way overcharge for services - just not screen repairs. Everything else we assert our right to unashamedly overcharge and its your fault for not realizing this." Best to steer clear of iBroken. I got my battery replaced for $49 (almost half price less!), including a brand name battery, at a competitor.

Quoted my $300 to fix a Google Pixel 3a XL. Went to uBreakitIFixIt and was $140. (Edited from Owners Response). For the record, I went in person and handed the guy my phone and he said it was $300 to fix it. It's a 2 star review because he basically lied to me the cost of the repair. He said the screen costs $200 without the labour / repair time. I went to a certified Google repair shop and it was a reasonable price. I'm sticking to my 2 star review on this.

I had originally went to the Apple Store to see what it would cost to have my cracked screen replaced. We had wanted to give the iPad to a family member so they could use it as we have a newer one. The Apple Store advised they don't do it but rather replace it for $400! A newer iPad costs $449...Wow. I did some research and found ibroken on the internet. They fixed the iPad for a 1/3 of the price. The service was fast and friendly. We are 100 percent satisfied and glad we didn't have to throw this out. It will now be put to good use. Had a mini-emergency with a UK iPhone that stopped working on a Sunday afternoon (a work phone). Couldn't get the SIM card to work in another iPhone. My stepdaughter's phone had a heavily damaged screen (holes near the Home button) and stopped responding following a call. The staff at iBroken were able to quickly replace the screen, fix an issue with an errant screw, and clean up some of the accumulated gunk. Fast service that included function testing before and after the repairs. Would highly recommend.

Save yourself the money and hassle of bringing anything here to get repaired. I brought my iphone7 in to have the screen repaired. My screen was pretty cracked, but It was still fully functional. When you bring your phone in they run a few "tests" to see if it will be covered under there warranty. For one of the tests they place the phone on the counter to see if it's bent, when and if it moves a bit they tell you that it's because your phone is bent it won't be covered. What I didn't realize is that my phone tilted because of the camera lens. First scam. They then get you to sign a waiver saying if your Touch ID button doesn't work, it's not there fault, etc.. this is because they don't use Apple products to repair it, nor do they use water resistant sealant Second scam. When I went to pick up my phone, they went through a couple functions to make sure it's working. Off the start everything looked fine, however a few days later my screen wasn't really working on the right side of the screen. It also would randomly open apps and call people. When I called them back to tell them something was wrong, the first thing they said was "well it's not under warranty because your phone was bent, but it could be your motherboard. Bring it in for us to look at it". So they wanted me to bring it back in and pay more for parts for my motherboard, when in reality the problem was just there poor service to the screen. My screen wasn't 100% initially and then completely stopped working when I dropped it a few weeks later. Couldn't use the screen at all. At this point I was extremely annoyed, so I took it into Apple. They said they would replace the screen for $30 more ($205), but they actually use Apple parts and it's under warranty. They ran tests and everything was fine with my motherboard it was just a poor screen install. When I brought my phone back to Ibroken to discuss the defective install, the owner Russ was extremely rude. Telling me I should have just brought it back to them and he wasn't going to do anything for me. I also had bought an iPhone cord at IBroken and it had stopped working after 3 days. I also tried to return that for reimbursement. He said he wouldn't give me my money back but only replace it with a new one. For someone who is trying to run a business, you would think that he would have better customer service skills, be a little sympathetic and admit that they had done a poor job. Instead, I dealt with an extremely defensive owner who can't validate the quality of their own services or products.

Avoid this place at all costs if you value your phone. I brought a phone there to get the screen fixed, I walk out with a new screen and a battery that is completely shot, now my phone won’t even turn on. This company is a joke the battery in my phone was perfectly fine and they try and tell me that it was faulty afterwards when I know damn well it wasn’t cause I have never had a problem with that battery then all of a sudden it doesn’t work, I know damn well they swapped my battery with a faulty one. Came into the shop on a Sunday 1.5 hours before they closed with an iPhone 6 with a smashed screen. They were able to fix my phone in about 25 minutes (told me to expect 45, and emailed to let me know that it was done early). They perform pre and post tests in front of you so everything is transparent. My phone looks brand new again, finger print scanning still works, microphones still work, camera still focuses perfectly. They were professional and friendly! Could not have asked for more! :)

Appointment was made fast and I had my phone fixed the same day it only took him 30 minutes. Only issue was my screen after replacement is very sensitive, if there is any moisture on fingers or screen it will completely stop working and I have to reset it. This issue seems to be fixed when I put a glass screen protector on, not a huge deal as I know the screen shouldn't be subjected to moisture anyway, just something to note. Prices are fair seen as the repair person comes to you. Despite the small inconvenience with the screen, I would definitely recommend iBroken Canada!

Never ever again. I had recently cracked the screen on my S10 and had read good reviews of IBroken Canada so thought I would give them a try. I cannot comment on a successful repair, but the customer service leading up to and the store visit was zero stars. I was unable to reach a store employee on their direct store line, and was told on the automated phone message that a quote would have to be done in person in store. Understandable given the wide potential for problems to be encountered. When I arrived for my appointment I was told there was no new screens in stock, and that they had no answer from a supplier if or when a new screen would be available. Nor an offer to keep trying and no offer to contact me if something changed and. Being highly reviewed, I had hoped for better from a company who promoted themselves so highly. Will no longer consider IBroken for any of our families digital repair needs.

UPDATE (SEE BELOW): Nice guys but overall not a good experience. I got a screen replaced, and the parts they used are clearly not the same quality as Apple parts. The screen they replaced it with can basically be scratched with just your finger nail. What a joke. Last time I go to a non-apple store just to save a few bucks. Not worth it. RESPONSE TO OWNER: I'm not an idiot, I'm a chemical engineer so you're not speaking to the average joe with regards to understanding "glass". For your information, glass is not glass, there ARE major differences between them. Yes, Apple's glass CAN scratch, and so CAN your's. That wasn't my point...my point was that your glass scratches VERY easily. I had my phone for 2 YEARS and it didn't have a single scratch on it (before it was dropped and cracked). And 1 DAY AFTER your screen replacement, there is a huge deep scratch in it when I didn't drop, drag or scrape it on anything. I keep it in my pocket. And no I don't keep shards of metal in my pocket or put it in with my keys. It's a FACT, you're glass is simply inferior to Apple's. I'd love for you to demonstrate to me that it's the same quality with actual Science and Analysis. To your point about Apple, you're a liar because I brought my phone to the store and they said they could replace it no problem and that it's not "bent". I do recall you explaining this to me and also you saying that you could fix my "bent" phone for a fee...hmmmmmm, conflict of interest I see? Yes. So it turns out that iBroken is no better than most of these crooks. Don't be deceived... I dropped your review down to 1 star because of your lie about Apple not being able to fix my screen due to the bent issue.

These guys are absolutely great. I came in with a severely smashed iPhone 6 screen at 9:40 am and by 10:10 am my phone was fixed. Russ and David were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable with the products. When Russ was showing me the different types of screen protectors, he even went so far as to drop his iPhone *gasp* on the floor. His phone was fine and that made me confident in the quality of products they use. Their store is located in an easily accessible and convenient location with great parking. Oh and they have free wifi! So while Russ was fixing my poor phone I was able to work and check my emails from my laptop. I would highly recommend iBroken. Great guys and great service for very competitive prices! I hope I don't have to see them again any time soon, but should I smash my phone again (in due time I'm sure...)I'll be going back to them.

Absolutely stellar experience with Nick at the south store. Store started after I knocked my coffee over in my cup holder in my car and my phone got wet. I immediately dried it off and thought I was out of the woods! Little did I know my birthday was about to get tossed for a suprise! We had just left Tim’s and was on our way out for supper reservations at 4pm. I arrived for supper and thought everything was normal with my phone until my daughter called from her friends house and I was talking away and she couldn’t hear me. Oh boy not good. I didn’t have a clue what was going on. I’m also a flight attendant with WestJet and I fly out at 8am in the morning. What to do.. my husband took out his phone and searched for repair stores in the area. There was a shop down the street but that didn’t answer so we came across ibroken and made a call. Nick answered the phone and offered his thoughts that potential the bottom mic that’s attached to the charging port had been damaged by the liquid. We told him that it’s super important to have it looked at and if it wasn’t repairable I would have to buy a new phone. He said he closes at 6 and I told him I may come close to closing as I was out for my birthday supper. He told me to call when I was leaving and he would wait and unlock the door when I arrive. Got to the store at 6:10. It was so kind of him to stick around for me after business hours. He immediately opened up the phone to reveal two creams 1 sugar mixture. He did some cleaning and took a part out and wiped it down. To our amazement it wasn’t needing a new mic and that the cleaning he did got it working again. He had already closed and done the paper work and he didn’t even ask for a penny. I was absolutely amazing that someone would stay after hours for a stranger that he owes nothing to would have the heart to help in the way he did. I promised him I would share my experience. He was so kind and polite with a beautiful smile. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My birthday is now completed on a positive note. Ibroken is a 11/10 in my books. Ps: I’m not saying they’ll fix your device for free ;)

We went here today around 4:00 with our phone. Our phone tray was basically jammed and the phone wouldn’t open. The guy was skeptical from the start. He said that he can’t guarantee the phone will work after he opens it as the phone might be damaged. We explained that we are using the phone great, calls work, messages, photos, etc. It was just the tray. He proceeded to flip out when we were asking normal, straight forward questions about how it works (in a nice way may I add), as well as telling him the phone is working fine, Besides the tray. He didn’t like to be disagreed with basically. I proceeded to take my phone at CPR Cell Phone Repair in Macleod and they fixed the jam Immediately and even did it for free! And were extremely polite. I highly recommend that the company uses trained people with good social skills to deal with customers and leave the technicians that are incapable to do so in the back to just fix the phones. He treated us like thieves, and it’s sad because we were ready to buy two phone cases/phone protectors etc. He missed a good sell. Go to CPR Repair:)

These guys were great. My charging port stopped connecting properly and with a 5-year old iphone 6, I wasn't interested in paying $300 for apple to fix it. They made it clear any risks I might have with warrantee or device integrity before they did any work. With the age of my phone and the fact it was out-of-warrantee these risks were minimal. They attempted to clean the port first, but when this didn't yield results replaced the port within an hour and 1/2 without charging for the initial cleaning. Very friendly, very efficient, at a 1/3 the price of apple service for my particular issue and device. The port is working perfectly with no issues now.

I definitely would recommend iBroken! I shattered the screen of my iPhone and searched Google for repair options. I was pleased to read all the positive reviews for iBroken however thought I should check a few other places. A family member had used Best Buy in SK so I called Best Buy in Beacon Hill and could not get a straight answer. Best Buy told me screens were on backorder yet told me to come in and furthermore told me they could not give a price over the phone. I tried the Apple Store but was expected to wait for at least 5 minutes on hold. I called David and asked why I should use his service over another! I liked his response and the rest is history! Outstanding repair but the team at iBroken. Last week (Saturday) we went to pick up my twins iPads. Both had severely damaged glass and one had what's called LCD damage. I can't believe they were able to make them look like new. Seriously I wasn't expecting a miracle but it's amazing that they look like they've never been broken / destroyed. They even cleaned up the back of the ipads as they were pretty gross let's say the least. Great company. Seriously why even go to Apple. I’m assuming my story is repeated everyday. I have a iPhone 7 that there’s a known issue on the motherboard that stops the ear speaker and mic from working it’s greyed out. I thought I was the only one but a quick google reveals that it’s a massive issue that Apple won’t reconize as a fault in their design. They blamed me for dropping my iPhone. Well no damage to my phone and they couldn’t come up with any other reasons why. I tried sharing what I’ve read online but they refused to even consider that I’m not the only one. Anyway after telling me I need a need phone my coworker told me about her experience at this shop and said to call them. They’re on their game. Immediately they knew the issue and confirmed they get calls daily about it. Well they said they’ve repaired many and outlined the risk vs reward. I didn’t want to drop $500 on a new device so I hired iBroken to try and fix the issue on the motherboard. Dropped my phone off on Saturday and picked it up today. It works! Please always get a second opinion. Now I see why these guys have stellar reviews! Perfect service. Perfect repair. Perfect experience. I’m sure I will use them in the future but I’m the mean time I wanted to let anyone else know that if your iPhone 7 has this issue called audio ic failure please reach out to this company and give them a chance to fix it.

All I wanted was an I-phone battery replacement but you can't call to get a price on anything, so you drive to the store thinking that it must be a good price with all the good reviews. Nope, their price was 40% higher then the Apple store and 50% higher then the mobile I-phone repair. I didn't check other prices until after I had the work done and was told it was cheaper elsewhere. Needless to say I will not be going back there. I guess that's why they don't answer the phones because then you'll see how expensive they are. Once you drive there you're attitude is "well I'm here it must be competively priced so I'll just get it done here" Don't waste your time driving there just check out other places and you'll save money. They do get one star because the staff was friendly and he seemed to do a good job (time will tell).

Took my iPhone here about a week ago for a screen repair and agreed to pay over $200 dollars to get my screen replaced. Unfortunately, I had to fly out for work that same day. That day I noticed the screen was not functioning properly. I decided to bring the phone today to get some customer service. The screen did have a small crack in the bottom which was caused by me but problems were occurring way before this happened! The screen was less then two weeks old and they would not help or try to provide quality customer service but instead give me reasons why it happened. Also , these reasons were not explained before hand when I first got the phone replaced. This place is over priced and the customer service is terrible. Go to the mall, save your money and time.

Had my broken iPad screen fixed for about $170. When I got it back the home button was sunk the screen was raised and did not look factory at all. Upon further review when I would open my case and the back would touch the back of the iPad, the screen would go dark. I called ibroken about the issue and they told me there was nothing they could do about it and that this was the best replacement screen on the market. So I believed them and assumed that this was the best screen replacement I could get. About 5 months later my kid broke the screen again, was referred to a mobile guy that comes and picks up your device. He fixed my iPad for $100 and came and dropped it back off the next day for no extra charge. When I got it back it almost looked like new and I couldn’t even tell it had a replacement screen and no problem with the home button and the screen didn’t go blank when I would open the case. I called him to thank him as my wife received it and he tells me that who ever did the last replacement used the cheapest replacement screen you can buy. Will never refer anyone to this place and will definitely not be a returning customer. Don’t know how these guys have so many positive reviews, could be a bribe for a discount as some others have noted. Or maybe their iPad fix is garbage and their phone fixes are on point couldn’t tell you. I have no reason to lie about my experience with ibroken have better things to do than make up bs about companies and whatever the owners response is will be inaccurate and false. Response to owner: You claim to have a state of the art pos system but can’t find me in your system. Luckily for me my wife saves all receipts, if you would like I could upload a pic of the receipt so we can call you out for the liar you are. For all the people reading I do not work for their competitors or am I affiliated with any device fixing company. As far as I am concerned mr. owner you and you alone have to wake up and look at yourself in the mirror everyday and if you like the person looking back knowing you rip people off for a living using cheap replacement parts good on you. What a horrible existence you must have unless this gives you joy. Please would be customers take my advice and go somewhere else you will thank me in the end. My last response: So now you have a new pos system? From reading most of your responses to people’s bad 1 star reviews there was no mention of you updating your pos system. As a matter of fact you called most of us liars and fake profiles out to get you as we work for your competition. Isn’t that right? I hope people see through your bs. And on another note, ya you probably use better quality replacement screens for big corporations, why would you use garbage screens like you put on mine? They wouldn’t come back to you, and you would lose a lot of money. So why not treat the average joe like the big corporations? Amazing experience from start to finish. Dave was so helpful when we chatted and recommended for me to come in asap as water damage only gets worst and that the success rate is higher within the first day he answered all of my questions. We thought we lost all of our photos of my new born as my daughter put my phone in the toilet. We left the phone for most of the day but were extremely pleased when he called saying our phone is back up and working. People please use the icloud correctly we alway never think it could happen to me. Let me say you can have all your photos and data gone in a split second. We had our screen on our 5s done about 2 weeks before Christmas and we just got back our iPad that we dropped off on Saturday. It looks like it has never been repairs. My iPhone works great and they also fixed my daughters 5c as the battery was shot in it. I got a recommendation from the Rogers dealer on 130th ave they told me they send a lot of customers there. All in all I’m impressed with this local business. After apple told my wife that the 5c and iPad were to old to fix there option was about $1500 to replace both. We are done under $200 for both. Was disappointed with the overall experience. I had my screen and battery replaced and after 36 hrs or so 2 bad blotches on my screen appeared. I was told that they would replace the screen but it was a special circumstance to cover the repair via warranty. And several days later my screen continued to have issues that were not present before original repair. Would not recommend replacing screen here. Go to the actual Apple store for a genuine repair.

I used this company for 3 or 4 phone repairs, on the last one that cost me $800 by the time I got the phone home and put The SIM card in it it did not work Make make sure your phone works 100% before leaving this place as they would not offer me any warranty on my phone repairs. I messed up replacing the battery in my iPhone 7. Nick diagnosed the problem, replaced the front facing camera and I had the phone back in about 4 hours. He also showed me a settings workaround that saved me from having to replace a second part. HOWEVER, the next morning the phone was dead again! Apparently the front facing camera failed again. No warranty. Nick says there's something seriously wrong with the phone to cause the camera to fail. Not worth fixing he says. After spending $150 on it. Not happy.

I got my screen replaced and my Touch ID isn’t working anymore. This is likely because the Touch ID ribbon was damaged. I tried to call in with my concern because I thought it was a software issue. Just posted a review, said it was posted now its not there. Posting again. I brought in my iphone with minor water damage and a phone chord that was not plugging in to the bottom.The phone was working just not holding a charge.(It had a grain of rice in It from being in dry rice before I brought it in). The fellow said it was an 80 dollar assessment charge. I asked “ what if you open it up in a few minutes and find out its unrepairable I still have to pay 80.00? He said yes.I found this off putting. I gambled and thankfully it was fixable. The next morning I phoned in from my home line and got a long speal and no one answered and no way to leave a message.Tried calling 3x. I went in mid afternoon to see if the phone was ready. It was done a while before I came in. They notify people by email when completion is done but I had no way to get notified as they had my phone and no one to answer phone to other way to check if it was done. Frustrating. The phone was repaired properly and no extra charges were applied after the assessment. Points 1) Review price water damage assessment if phone is unrepairable and found out quickly. 2)Shorten speal on phone message. 3)Have a way by phone where customers can be talked to or called back from a voice mail. 4) Notify customers that completion notification is done through email and they have a way to be notified if email doesnt work for them. Under the category of “you’re only as good as your last experience”, I am hugely disappointed in iBroken. In a previous life before retirement, my IT staff used iBroken frequently to great success, including the in-office repair of a couple of my personal phones. In this case, I have an older iPad Pro that had a busted screen. I took it to the Signal Hill location, had the screen replaced. The $400 repair bill for the screen was already beyond the max I was comfortable spending on an older iPad, but given past history with iBroken, thought it was worthwhile. 2 weeks after the repair, the screen started lifting in the corner and over the next couple of months eventually became completely dislodged. We’re lucky enough to spend winters out of country and as we had left within a week of the repair, I knew the repair was well outside of the warranty period. Upon our return to Calgary (and after our quarantine), I went back to the store to see what could be done. I was treated to a masterclass in how to really anger a customer. Right off the bat, before even opening up the devise, the tech told be the battery must be swelled as that is basically the only reason a screen would lift like that. He opened the devise (not hard as it was completely loose...), and sure enough the battery was swelled. He then opened up the original work order and he actually found notes on file that the battery was swelled when the repair was done. I’d note here that when getting the original repair done, the only conversation we had about the battery was the tech telling me that it was “surprisingly good for its age and still had 95% battery life after having been charged 784 times”. The stats are correct as I still have a photo on the iPad of the diagnostic test screen that the tech himself took. NO mention of any problems with the battery at time of the repair. By not notifying me of the known problem when doing the repairs (knowing that it would create a new problem as, according to the tech, that’s the only reason screens lift), they not only lost a potential additional sale for a new battery, but really just ensured that the $400 I was spending was wasted. Had they contacted me at the time, I probably would have said forget the repair. The only option the tech gave me now was spending an additional $200 on a new battery, though after I expressed my dismay at the cost, he offered a $20 discount for the hassle. So now my options are to chase bad money with good or buy a new iPad after having invested $400 in this one in it just 5 months ago. I asked the tech if I could speak with the owner of iBroken - not the franchise owner but the owner of iBroken. He wouldn’t give me contact info, but did say he’d message the owner and I’d get a call soon. *crickets*. Not impressive at all. It’s easy to provide good customer service when thing go well, but the true test of a company is how problems are dealt with, and this a complete fail. Incidentally, I did the battery replacement myself, $37 on Amazon for a new battery + $9 for an adhesive kit - and iBroken wanted $200.

The technician quickly and correctly determined that my inability to push the headphone jack in all the way due to a grain of rice wedged in the hole for the jack, and not water damage. He quickly removed it. When asked for the fee, he advised it was not required. I'm not sure I would have walked away with it being properly diagnosed and at no charge elsewhere. The owner is rude and condescending. He was quick to drop words such as 'lawyer,' and 'defamation' in an effort to intimidate me from writing an unfavourable review. The tone of his email communication was off putting when I inquired about an issue with my new screen. The glass on my iPhone 5 started flaking off around the earpiece within three weeks. The cracks appeared slowly and days later the upper half of the screen stopped working. It was not dropped. iBroken Canada wouldn't cover the replacement but offered a used screen at a slight discount. It's important to note that this same problem happened to me with a replacement screen installed by another company. That company replaced the screen at a significant discount and acknowledged that it shouldn't have happened. The proprietor of that company was pleasant, even during our negotiations. I'm not a iPhone technician but there seems to be a general issue with non factory replacement screens. I don't know why it happens but two iPhone screens in Lifeproof cases cracked around the earpiece within six months. The screens were installed by different companies and by different suppliers. In the case of iBroken Canada, the issue began within three weeks. In my view that is unacceptable. All technical issues aside, full points lost for attitude. A positive attitude goes a long way but I walked away from this situation feeling belittled and subjugated. I'm giving a second star because they were prompt with communication and delivery of their services. Its a pity the product did not stand up.

Got my iphones charging port fixed when I was told it wasn’t possible by another tech. I booked online showed up and they were waiting for me. Simple process. Cheaper pricing than 2 other shops I inquired and to boot they were only a block from my work. Was in and out in 45 mins and they even help me tell how much wear my battery had and what things I could do to extend life during the day. When my battery hits the dust I’ll be going back to these lads 100%. Great work fellas.

I made an appointment and was able to discuss the options they can offer and etc. We agreed that they will call me back when they start ordering the glass in order to confirm my choice. It never happened. It was 3 weeks ago. And I wasn't able to get to a live person when I called them. Very disappointing experience. I Enjoyed the whole process of getting my sons iPhone screen fixed. It was painless to get pricing and to book a fix. When I arrived for my appointment yesterday morning I was greeted by a professional gentleman. He went over what he was going to do and gave a time window for when the phone would be able to be picked up. It was done on time and charged up fully which was a nice touch. Gave me a cleaning cloth for the road to help my sons screen look pretty clean for at least one day. The gentleman also updated me with a battery wear information at no charge and told us we had sometime before it would need to be replaced. The store is easy to find and cozy and clean. I will be passing their card off to my boss as we have a cupboard of broken device that should be doing their job once again. Apple goes to great lengths to stop Apple parts from getting to third party shops like this one. They will also make your phone less functional if they've detected it has been repaired at a third party shop. They will also not repair your phone if they know you've had work done at a third party shop. Getting your phone repaired through Apple is going to be more expensive. But, if you're concerned about pricing, you might as well call around, which once again rules out this place. All other phone users should call around as third party repair shops will be less likely to have non Samsung/Apple parts on hand. Stay safe out there, go else where. I am not the type to usually write a review, but I just had a terrific experience with this company iBroken. I brought them an iPhone that I had basically written off. One of my co-workers said to try these guys out as they had done such a great job with their daughters iPhone. So I brought our iPhone in. What happened to our iphone was such a bad thing. My son left it on the roof of our car and forgot it. When we started to drive away it took quite a fall and the car behind us accidentally drove over it. It was such a mess. So we thought it was a goner. Well like I said, with the suggestion to go to iBroken, off we went. These guys are such professionals that they didn’t even flinch when we showed then the destroyed phone. They agreed to attempt this repair and explained everything clearly about what to potentially expect. They said to give them a couple of hours and come back. We left not expecting to have a working phone, but they seemed so confident. So that said, we came back two and a half hours later to see what the results were. It was unbelievable! They had managed to get the phone to work and it almost looked brand new again! If it weren’t for the scratches on the back of the phone, I would have thought it was another phone. Simply the best experience. The service we received was top notch and the repair was very reasonable for price. We didn’t have to buy a new phone! 4th Apple device now repaired here ( 3 iPads and 1 iPhone ). Work has been done well and in the time frame provided although one device was 1 day late. I did tell them I was not in a rush but did give them 2 weeks and was told they would be ready by Friday, Aug 7th. I tried calling to confirm that they were ready but just kept getting a voice mail telling me that I should make an in store visit instead of asking for a quote on pricing - a message made by the owner that repeats 3 times before disconnecting you without any notice! I made the trip to the store later in the day on the 7th and was informed about the delay. Not the end of the world for me but if there was a way to call the store to confirm, that would be ideal. Or maybe a voice mail? Anyhow, Andrew was helpful and the work was done properly on the devices. I had a small chuckle on the invoice as they noted that my iPad had some scotch tape holding down the wires by the Home Key and that would have been from my first repair here a couple of years ago. I have not the faintest idea how to open one of these things nor the capacity to fix them if I could! Thank you IBroken!

The customer service and my overall experience was nothing short of exceptional. Both of these gentlemen not only provided the promised service in a timely manner, but went the extra mile for me personally. I broke the screen on my phone and had issues with the proximity sensor. The sensor problem was not a result of the replacement screen, or the replacement work completed. But regardless, the boys changed out the screen protector they provided initially (free of charge) as a 'just in case' and requested that I contact them shortly after to ensure there was no further complications. It turns out the damage to my phone was much more extensive than just my broken screen, and when I contacted them again to provide further details, they walked me through possible remedies for my phone even though it was out of their scope of services. This type of customer service is very rare. If you need a screen replacement or require any services that they provide, I would not look any further.

We had my daughters iPhone X screen fixed in January 2020 ($304.45). Today suddenly (without any physical damage and not dropping it) a green line appeared on the screen. After some research online I’ve read on numerous websites that the issue is well documented on iPhone X (unrelated to dropping it or physical damage - which is our case). When I contacted iBroken they refused to fix the issue for no cost even though this is definitely a screen issue and not related to “physical damage”. This company does not stand behind its work. Very disappointing.

They offered me the best quality screen replacement, and yet it can’t handle short cuts AND they made my camera quality worse. They offer a screen replacement priced at $130 when Apple does it for $150( iPhone 6s). AND ITS TERRIBLE. Me and my fiancé needed to fix my phone and make it last for 3 months, and now that I’m throwing it away, I thought I’d make my review! Why would I go back to your company ( takes me almost 2 hours to get to) when I expect service done right the first time

I have returned to Canada and forced to self isolate, I call IBROKEN to ask a simple question of "Could they fix my iPad ? " By providing a model number". I was already told by another repair shop that they could not. So considering I could not leave my house to bring it to IBROKEN, before I spent money on an Uber to send it to them, I simple want to know if they could fix it. All I got was a ridiculous recording with no option to speak to a real person and no email to contact anyone on the website. Poor service and a waste of 30 second of my life listening to that useless message. Get up to speed with COVID IBROKEN you lost my business.

Outstanding service received. Very professional and offer a lot of value. We had our company iPad and 2 iPhones and one samsung device repaired here last week. No end of repair shops in our city but these guys are like the cream that rises to the top. All devices repaired on time. No funky extras or up-selling. Being a business owner I get to understand all aspects of a company and these guys are doing it right. They explained different options for our repairs and didn’t push one way or other very neutral. Clean professional store and all staff are branded representing the company. Parking was plentiful. I will continue to use for our company and personal devices. I think a long time ago maybe 4 years they did a repair when they were mobile at my company. Hopefully they bring back the mobile service! Would pay extra to stay at home or at work!

I had an amazing experience at ibroken. They were able to repair my sons iPhone 5s after Apple said our only option was a new device. We were greeted with a friendly gentleman who was very knowledgeable about this issue and gave me guidance on what options I had. I felt they had my best interest and they never once came across shady. The repair took about 2 hours as they got me in without a appointment. I have a small cleaning company and I felt compelled to let others know about them as sometimes only angry customers share their reviews. Life’s busy but this company went over and above and I had to say thank you one more time:)

We have been using these guys for over 3 years. They use to come to our home to do repairs but we are glad we can come by anytime without an appointment now as life’s busy. We have 5 kids. They always go over and above when ever there’s an opportunity. Well, here again they came through on short notice and stayed 1 hour later than closing to make sure we had our daughters iPhone repaired before she heads to Montreal in the am. Didn’t charge me anything extra and actually cleaned out her camera lens as she will be taking a lot of photos. Love these guys. Almost like family. Is it scary they know me by name when I walk through the door? If you are reading this and you have a broken phone make sure you try these guys. Amazing prices, not theyre not most expensive forsure in the city and definitely not the cheapest but I don’t have to visit anyone’s home where they prefer to be paid in cash and I have to wait in my car hoping I’ll get my phone back. Their workmanship and quality is top notch. When in life did going the cheapest route pay off? It hasn’t for me.

My screen shattered earlier this week, after trying to deal with the Apple store's ridiculous appointment setup and wait times as well as other third party companies not having any parts I found this gem of a company. They're unbelievable, came straight to my office at a time that worked for me, was able to quickly drop off the phone and they fixed it in 10 minutes when everyone else quoted times of 1-2 hours for the same price! Incredible service and quality of work. My phones screen was totally smashed and the frame was bent. Russell explained to me that it might not be possible for a new screen to be put on due to the bend but that he would try his best regardless.
