Great experience with these guys. It took a while for the part that I ordered to arrive due to miscommunication with a supplier but once it had arrived, there was less than a 24 hour turnaround from when I brought it in, to when I picked it up. Plus, it cost half of what the Apple store quoted me. Highly recommend.

My mac has never worked better. Nothing done without my consent, all done in record time. I've never been so happy with a repair job. I'm taking all my mac machines here from now on. Update: Now my wife's mac works as well as it ever has! Edmonton Mac Repair was willing to bring in a board part they wouldn't bring in to the Apple store. These folks are just as good at repairing laptops, and they didn't charge me to diagnose my machine(s) and ship in a part that might not fix my problem. Thanks EMR!

My MacBook Air had water damage. Initially brought it to Apple for service. Quote to repair was a a few hundred off of a one, which the “genius” pointed out and suggested I look into getting a brand new Mac Air (great job, Apple!) The experience rubbed me the wrong way so I thought I’d get a 2nd opinion. Came across Edmonton Mac Repair through a Google search. Isabelle and John were both extremely helpful. And for someone who’s not a big techie, they answered all my questions and their explanations made sense (you know how other tech guys have a way of making you feel dumb coz you don’t get what they’re saying?) Best of all pricing was very reasonable. I ended up spending 1/3 of what I would have spent if I listened to the Apple “genius”.

I use my Macbook for my business. Basically, I'm out of business without it. The battery was going and started swelling, warping the laptop case. I contacted another repair shop who told me I'd have to leave my laptop for 2 or 3 days. Josh, was very accommodating to arrange a time when I could bring it in so he could work on it quickly. He ordered the parts, they came in and he contacted me. I took my laptop in and 2 hours later had it back. Excellent customer service, very knowledgable and good value. My macbook had water damage. I went to apple and they told me that the cost of repair was more than the product itself and it would be better to buy a new MacBook. My friend suggested Edmonton Mac Repair and I went in. After dropping it, and soon after I reach home, Isabelle send me a report with a free estimate and it was so much cheaper than what apple had told me. I was told that I will get it in 3 days after fixing, but it was ready within 1 and 1/2 days. Isabelle was so professional and she was asking me consent in every step. They could recover all my data and that was my major concern. They even offer a warranty. I would highly recommend this company!!!! Thank you Isabelle and the technician who worked on my computer! :)

They spent MANY hours of their own time diagnosing the actual problem before coming back to me. I was in Edmonton last week and unfortunately my Macbook Pro's screen ended up getting smashed. I made an appointment with the Genius Bar at the local Apple Store, but they said it would be at least a week's wait for a part. That timeline would not work for me, so I began the daunting task of searching on Google for an alternate solution. After a while of searching, I stumbled upon Bitwrench Computers. They advertised a quick turnaround time, and they did not disappoint. I originally spoke with Josh, who asked me to bring in the laptop for a closer look. The shop, cluttered and furnished with Ikea tables will feel either alarmingly shabby or comfortably DIY, depending on your outlook. I went with the latter. From dropping off to picking up a day later the experience couldn't have gone smoother. I received my device back the next day with a brand new, fully functioning screen, and the service only cost me a few hundred dollars as opposed to what it could've come to had I left my device with the Apple Store.
