Lukas is a legend! I have had multiple repairs done at CCD over the years and have been extremely impressed with his level of expertise. The quality & value of their repairs has been phenomenal. He has been able to provide in house hardware repairs where other "reputable" repair services in the city have wanted to outsource the work. Most recently I had run into a spot of financial distress and as a result had left a unit with him for an EXTREMELY long time without being in contact. I'm sure any other company in the city would have "disposed" of it on me. On top of his technical ability's, Lukas is offering a very ethical and trustworthy service. I recommend CCD to everyone! Brought my laptop into Lucas about a month ago, asked him to do a deep clean inside & out on my dell Inspiron and figure out what the over heating issue was. This would include all keys on keyboard, mouse, mouse sensor, laptop fan, heat sink, and also the motherboard. After 2 weeks of peace of mind, my dell laptop started over heating and shutting down once again! Last night upon lots of research it took me over an hour to dissesemble my laptop, only to discover he DID NOT clean it nor did you even open the back to look at anything (battery, motherboard,etc) The fan was disgusting and couldn't even turn properly. You had my laptop for over 5 days and didnt clean it at all. Quite disappointed in your services, customer service and prices. Defiantly will not be returning to you guys!

Great and speedy service! My power shut off while windows was updating and my computer would no longer turn on. Called Best Buy and they quoted me 60$ to just "diagnose the problem" and I would then be charged an actual service fee after that. It would take them about a week to get me my computer back. I called Luke in the evening, he answered and after I explained th had issue He quoted me 90$ and I would get my computer back the next day! Would 100% recommend!

I went to Lukas because my computer would shut off as soon as it was unplugged. Everywhere else I took my computer they wanted to hold on to it while they were waiting to fix it or while they were waiting for the parts, but this was not the case with Lukas. When I first went there he suggested that I needed a new battery in order to figure out whether it is the battery or another component. So he ordered a new battery. Two weeks latter the battery arrived and I went back to him and he installed it in a few seconds and my laptop was good as new again. All he charged me for was the battery since it took him so little time to fix it. He also has super flexible hours since his shop is in his house which is an extra bonus. Overall this was the best experience I could've hoped for!

My Computer was so incredibly slow. I tried so many things to fix it. Like deleting lots things to try to create space on my hard drive. running anti virus programs. fragmenting and other optimization programs. All of which failed to get my computer running fast like how it used to. It would also crash unexpectedly and I was so frustrated that I was looking at buying a new laptop. I was prepared to spend $500 and I wasn't really able to afford to do it. I googled computer repair places in Calgary and Lukas had the highest rating. Just got back my macbook. I spilled a bit of water on it and my keyboard was dead. I searched for the protocols to replace it myself because I have some experience with computers. But since it is my life's laptop (!) I did not want to take any risk. I came across Lukas and called him. He came back to me within minutes. Next day I dropped off my laptop at around 7 pm and got it back at 9:30pm! Considering the amount of work to replace mac's keyboard, his dedication really impressed me. The price is also very reasonable considering his friendliness, availability and dedication. If you wanna get around those "genius" people in apple store, Lukas is definitely the right person!

Talked to Lukas via email about my broken laptop screen. He said he had the screen in stock and told me that i could come over and he would fix it while i waited. I drove to his house, he fixed the computer while we talked and now it works as new. From contacting Lukas to the time my computer was fixed it was about 6 hours, same day. My external hard drive suddenly malfunctioned while it was connected to my laptop. It's not completely broken because my laptop was able to detect it, but was not able to access it. Disk management showed it being 100% free and data recovery software couldn't fix the problem. I dropped it off to Lukas in the morning, and he found out that afternoon the problem was the broken enclosure (case), and the actual hard drive was good. He called me to confirm the problem, solution and cost before proceeding, and next day he has already fixed it by replacing the enclosure. Wonderful and speedy service, plus it costed a lot less than I was expecting. 100% Recommend!

I spoke with Lukas on the phone about the nasty virus on my Mom's computer in Calgary. I live in BC. An amazing fella, he was able to get to her within 12 hours (only because it was soon to be evening when they connected) Within one hour of arriving at my Mom's he had her up and running and the virus obliterated, plus he removed some useless programs that were slowing down her computer.
