This wonderful gent makes the Apple Store "experts" look like amateurs. Needed a battery change out. Apple store refused to do this siting "safety concerns" of opening laptop (air) -Possibility of a "Thermal Event" LOL...(shame on Apple Store to not provide proper support to its customers) This work was done in front of my eyes in 10 minutes. At the same time the interior was cleaned and the computer looks like new!! I am blown away by the competence of this man.

I was driving into Calgary for a short time and saw the reviews from the listing on google. Man! I am so happy he has a group of fans. He was super honest educated and wants to help you out. I had a problem with my screen not turning on and he gave me two options. Being transparent he just told me he could fix it and he doesn’t have to replace the screen. He could have informed me and I would have not thought any different. I only paid $350!!! Apple quoted me $600 minimum. Apple would have taken two weeks and charged me out the ass. This store said he would take one day. Wow, well 2 hours later he gave me a call and it was done!! Boom. Great service, honest businessman and speedy as hell. After water got into the Macbook Pro 13" the Apple Store told us it was fried and that we would need to buy a new machine. Apple Expert said they could fix it. After repairing the motherboard, replacing the keyboard and battery the laptop was good as new and at a fraction of the cost of a new machine. Highly recommended.

Hands down, best repair location!! I had a very slow MacBook Pro with a lousy screen. Apple expert replaced my screen and thermal contact. I thought I would need a new computer, but within a matter of hours, I had a functioning laptop again. Three months later, my computer was lagging and I brought it in here again to replace the hard drive. Again, within a matter of hours the repair was completed. Now my computer works better than new...super fast! These guys truly are experts. They are honest and efficient. I have recommended Apple Expert twice already!

This place is amazing! I brought my lap top in from Canmore at 12 and they had it out to me by 5 before I left. The Apple store quoted $650 for a new logic board, here he simply fixed the logic board instead of replacing it, only costing me $350. Apple also couldn't tell my why it had stoped working, he was able to tell me within 2 minuets what had happened. Highly recommend!

If I had gone to an apple store it would have cost more and I would have had to wait 3 weeks to get it back. I have a friend who’s a certified Apple technician and texted him to see if he could fix my MacBook Pro. The screen was broken due to mishandling. He was too busy so he told me to text his friend, Haider. After a few texts I confirmed that I wanted to go ahead and that he could order the part and decided to also get my son’s battery replaced in his iPhone. I was a bit nervous at first because I didn’t know who Haider was or if he fixed computers in his mom’s basement or what. The day the part came in he gave me his address. When I headed down I was happy to see there was an actual storefront. After dropping off my computer he told me it would be ready later today. At first I thought I misheard him. I was expecting a few days at least. When I picked up my laptop it was as good as new. He charged exactly what he quoted and I left a happy man. I decided I would help the business by leaving a review but now I see that they’re doing just fine. I had no idea they had this great reputation already. It is 100% deserved. I high recommend these Apple professionals for any work you need!!

I love these guys. I have taken 4 devices to them from an iPad to a 2011 Mac Pro for a variety of issues and upgrades and they have always delivered. I needed the Mac Pro back in a few days for a music session and it needed a lot done to it. I had no password and I needed all the files and apps transferred. I got a text at 11:00 pm the day before I needed it stating that the cloning was still underway. By the time I came in the next day it was all done. I hope Haider got a bit of sleep. Thanks. Had some work done on my Mac Pro. Guys were very helpful and friendly. They told me couple days and it was a couple days. Would definitely recommend. I plan on bringing in an old iPad that I had some other muppets replace screen and now it doesn’t work at all. I am confident these guys will fix it up no problem. Ever visit the Apple Store with a Mac problem and immediately had them give you "the talk" about how the problem is the Logic Board, it'll cost $750, and then have them recommend that you just buy a new one? I know quite a few people who have and is it EVER discouraging. Apple products are great but their repair policies are absolutely terrible and their products are not known for longevity anymore. After having that experience at the Apple Store, I decided to take my mid-2013 MBP in to Apple Expert to see what they could offer. Haider and the team were familiar with my issue (random power shutoffs/GPU related issues) and were able to fix it quickly and for significantly less than the quote offered by the Apple Store (and of course, significantly less than a new MBP). Apple Expert additionally stands by their warranty. Following the repair, I had an additional issue with my MBP that was likely entirely unrelated to the original repair–and Haider still serviced it under warranty, which is incredible. This is a business that will go above and beyond to provide wicked service which is the exact opposite of what Apple does for its customers. I cannot recommend the team at Apple Expert enough for their incredible and ongoing service. You've saved me a ton of money, headache, and allowed me to continue being able to work my part-time job which involves daily use of my MBP. This place will forever be my go-to repair shop for anything Apple related.

The team at Apple Expert are by far the most educated, helpful and reasonable people I have ever dealt with in the sometimes expensive world of Mac repair. They have saved my behind on 3 different occasions with liquid damage repair, hard drive repair, logic board replacement and full, refurbished laptop replacement for a ridiculously low cost. The owner even hipped me to his cousin to get a super discount on a Samsung Smart TV that I use as my larger screen connect to my Mac book pro. There is NO other place you need to go to in Calgary if you have a Mac product.

I have a 2011 Macbook pro and over the hoildays the GPU had died. The screen went black and the loading bar popped up, refusing to load anywhere past the middle line. Every short key I tried did not work, there was no getting into recover mode. I thought for sure this was it and I would have to buy a new computer, but then I managed to find this place on google. THANK GOD. I went in there thinking the worst and came out with a fully functioning Macbook pro with a new hinge (mine was cracked), new keys, and a new battery. The guys there were very nice and attentive. I highly recommend them!

I knocked over a full glass of water on my laptop overnight and didn't notice till the next morning, so I thought for SURE my laptop was toast. I picked it up the next morning and water was dripping out of my USB ports... yikes. I had already come to terms with probably having to buy a fully new laptop when I found Apple Expert Mac Repair. They took apart my laptop right in front of me, and showed me exactly what damage was done. At first, they weren't sure if they would be able to save the information on my hard drive, but when I came back 24 hours later, they hooked me up with a new keyboard, battery, logic board AND managed to save all my data on my computer! All of that for half the price that I was willing to pay! I'm so so so so thankful and will definitely be returning!!!!! I can't thank them enough!

Honest and fast service. I had a drop of sanitizer inside my keyboard which glitched everything. Apple quoted me around 500-700 to fix the problem and I got it fixed for 1/3 the price at Apple expert. My laptop feels brand new. Haider did an excellent job and also fixed my backlight without charging me anything extra.

I can 100% see why he has such a high rating! I dropped my MacBook pro by accident onto a really sharp metal corner of a table leg, and the screen was shattered (there was a hole through the apple logo to the other side of the screen!) I thought there would be no way it could be fixed but Haider fixed it THE SAME DAY!! Super professional, very honest and transparent. He was extremely clear about what needed to be done and was friendly. For anything apple, don't bother going to the store , they are much too expensive and take way too much time. I highly recommend Apple Expert!

I went to this store a little while ago, in order to get my MacBook Air screen fixed. The two gentlemen running this business were very patient and polite, being able to get me back my computer, fixed, within a week! It turned out, in the end, that there was multiple problems internally causing the screen to malfunction, and they fixed the problems at no added cost. If you are a university student such as myself looking for a place to get your computer fixed, and not have to worry about loosing important documents, I would highly recommend going here!

I highly recommend this repair shop!!! I spilled water on my Mac Book Pro the day before I was leaving on a 2 week trip to Europe. I needed my computer for an online course and many other reasons. I thought that I was completely in trouble. My friend called this place up and I brought my computer in right away. AMAZING customer service and fix for the price! I spilled milk on my laptop and left it for a few days (even soaking it in rice and getting rice inside the computer). I need my computer for school and asked if they could possibly fix it that evening and they did it in AN HOUR right before closing time. Super fast repair done quick with excellent customer service. My MacBook Air wouldn't turn on and the soonest I could get an appointment at the apple store was one week away so I took my lap top to Apple Expert. The problem was diagnosed as liquid damage within a few minutes and the repair only took one day. The cost was about half of what the apple store would have charged. I would highly recommend Apple Expert for mac repairs. I might return to buy another mac laptop or desktop since they sell mac products as well.

I've had serious issues with my MacBook Pro over the last year and spent a lot of time searching for solutions. The computer was running ridiculously slow. Mac's Genius Bar suggestion was to wipe my computer clean, which I came back twice to do. After that didn't yield any improvements they said they could not detect any hardware issues and that I should buy new. Apple Experts is in my neighbourhood so I decided to try them. Within minutes they detected the issue (a faulty hard drive, what I had suggested to apple was the issue). My computer was ready within a few hours and I laughed when I saw how fast it booted up. I've researched the components they replaced and I can say they priced very fairly for their time. These guys know their stuff and are passionate about what they do. I will be back. Expert knowledge, and great service! He definitely knows what he's doing, and saving people thousands of dollars! What Apple said was a minimum $500-$700 repair, or my MacBook Pro become just a piece of metal and plastic, he fixed for $100 in 25 mins. My MacBook Pro was giving codes on start-up, and would not run. Fine, software problem right? Backed up my files, Took to apple, they suggested to wipe and reinstall system. Simple...right? NO! My MacBook Pro was wiped, and new software would not install. Guy at Genius Bar tells me my motherboard is frayed... (they don't just fray...especially if it was running when I brought it in). Says it's a $500-$700 job... But they don't carry parts for products more than a few years old... essentially they won't even try to fix it. Took to Apple Expert, and learn that it was a common problem for old MacBooks to have a connection wire fault, 9/10 times it's simple fix. Just 25 mins, and $100. Plus warranty on his work. Go see him!

Honest down-to-earth repair technicians who put their customers first. Have you been told your unrelated repair issue requires an entire logic board or screen replacement in order to be addressed? Don't - bring it here to have the issue explained plainly and repaired without any BS. It'd be a mistake to bring your device anywhere else in the city. Also replaced my keys and rubber feet at no extra cost. Macbook hasn't looked this good since it was new!

I was devastated when the 12 yr old hard drive on my Mac 24" desk top died. went to Apple Store. No hope. Found Appll Expert on Google. They are in the neighbourhood. Haider & Ahmed explained pros and cons. 5 days after I took it to the store, I have the Mac as good as new and all restored at a very reasonable price, almost for half the price of a new one. No regrets. Nothing was lost. The visit and experience was no different from going to the original manufacturer. Both Techs are highly competent, courteous and prompt. They have a 'Never say die' attitude. Theres a warranty on the products installed and more. They return calls even if you don't leave a voice mail. There's a line up. It's worth it.

My MacBook Pro slowed to a crawl. Brought in into the store. Quick assessment and evaluation. Cost was lower than I had feared. Was given a timeline and explanation of what could speed up or slowdown the repair. Received a call later that day (technically they where closed - after 7pm) to say the repair was complete. My computer is faster than when new. Recommend absolutely. Fantastic service.

I have a Macbook pro and the guy said he'll change the storage and ever since my laptop is running slower than it was with high fan all the time and restarts by itself and I went to another store and they told me he put a very cheap brand and he charged me 450$ but in fact I could buy that thing for 120$ and those guys in the other store fixed my laptop and it's working perfectly, Don't fix your laptop here because he has a bad service You don't have me in your system because I paid ca$h and I didn't receive any receipt And now you blocked me!!!!

I replaced my own SSD hard drive and upgraded ram on my 2012 MacBook pro, I made the silly mistake of using a metal screw driver when unplugging battery. This shorted out the logic board. I could only use my Mac with the power cord, as soon as i unplugged it would turn off. I went to apple store and the genius bar was saying, replace batter, or its a bad hard drive ext. I watched a lot of videos and finally found out that the issue was with the Logic board. To replace a logic board you have to do something like 160 micro solders and you can only get another logic board from a different donor computer. Its a very complex repair and the only place that I could find doing it was Apple Expert. Really blown away with how great my computer works now. I'm grateful that I found someone that can fix this kind of issue. Would highly recommend these guys!

GO HERE if you need ANYTHING done to your Apple product. I went here after spilling water on my MacBook (FYI, they don't mix ) I though it was a goner but, these guys soon had it fixed and I didn't loose anything. They really know their stuff and are transparent with their work, showing you exactly what needs done, or not! They wont pull the wool over your eyes and charge you a ridiculous amount for stuff you dont necessarily need. These guys are genuine experts and super friendly. They're also quick too! When my partner had her work laptop accidentally "kissed" by water, I immediately bought a new one and swapped the drives (drive still worked thankfully) and shelved the non working computer after hearing that it would be cheaper to buy a new one than to have it fixed. Recently while looking for something unrelated I came across Apple Experts by accident and read about all the success they had repairing peoples machines. I grabbed the dead laptop and brought it by. Right away you can tell that they know what they are doing when you see how fast they take apart the machine to give an actual assessment of what the scope of work will be and how much the repair will be. It was refreshing to see. The result? They fixed the machine quickly and at the estimated price. I left feeling good that if anything were to pop up in the future they would handle it. As an electrical engineer, looking at the work bench you know that they have the right tools for the job when it comes to dealing with replacing surface mount components and dealing with wave soldered boards. I will be going back with my work machines now that I know about this too secret place.

I brought in my 2011 MacBook Pro in for a failed hard drive. The owner Operator Mr Issac was great. He transferred all my data (including every program I had installed). He upgraded the; operating system Hard drive from a 320 gig to a 1T SSD ram from 4 to 16 gig Cleaned the interior (I’m sure pretty dusty) Very good value as my Mac before was dead slow to boot up and run, and had become a bit of a paper weight, before the drive failed. Now with a solid state drive, it’s like a new computer. It’s not cheap but, you pay for what you get. I get basically a brand new Mac for the fraction of buying a new one. Faster boot up now then when it was new, again because of the solid state drive. Will I return .... yes I have a 2008 I-Mac that requires a little TLC. Cheers

I was quoted $900 from apple to repair my headphone jack on my macbook ($50 part) but I brought my laptop in to Apple Expert and they were able to completely fix the issue in about 20 minutes and charged me FAR less than the Apple store would have. I took my 2015 13" MacBook Pro to the Apple certified London Drugs for a check up for water damage when the screen was extremely dim (could not see the white parts of the screen without a bright flash light), and they quoted that it would take at least $1,800 to get the logic board and top case replaced plus labour, assuming there was nothing else wrong, and their suggestion was for me to consider to get a brand new laptop. Since I did not plan on spending close to $2,000 to repair the laptop, I took it home and considered my options. When I took my laptop to the Apple Expert store, they were able to open up my computer to explain which hardware needed replacements, and they were able to add up the price of all the parts, and because so much was wrong with my laptop (lol), they let me know that the maximum amount they would charge me would be $750, even though the individual parts would add up to be above that. Today, I finally got to pick my baby up and it's just like brand new, and I'm so thankful I did not have to buy a brand new laptop, as suggested by the Apple certified repair person. Typing this review on the repaired MacBook!! :) Thank you Haider!!!!!!! :) :)

I went to apple experts to purchase a 13” MacBook Pro. I chose one with dents and a couple scratches. I thought nothing of it, because at the time I was in desperate need for a laptop. I am so impressed with APPLE EXPERT. I had a situation that kept me looking for help to fix my computer as a slug had gotten inside of the computer and short circuited the logic board. The first place I went said there is too much damage here. The price to fix it is getting close to the price of a new computer it would be best to buy a new one. The second person I took it to said he got it working but it was overheating when he started it up. He turned the computer on to show me and it died halfway through startup. I paid him his try to fix fee and took the computer to have a friend rebuild it for me. Well the answer was that could not be rebuilt for a price I could afford, maybe buy a refurbished one. So I called Apple Expert to see if they would buy it for parts. HOW LUCKY am I they said come in and let us see it. I told them the story and Haider advised me he could fix it. I was flabbergasted after all the other advice I had been given by other advertisers that they fix apple computers. I really did find the Expert in Calgary who is very knowledgeable and so fair. The price they charged to fix my computer was very reasonable. I am so grateful I was led to APPLE EXPERT to get me out of the mess I was in. THANK YOU!!! First of all I can't recommend these fine gentlemen enough and I guarantee they will take care of you and find the issue and correct it. My MacBook Pro was out of warranty and went sideways on me, damn what to do next, well I took it to them and in 27 hours I had it back and like new. Turns out the fan went which caused the whole unit to just not work, luckily the boys took care of me and I"m back in business. I then had an issue where some Guinness was spilled on the keyboard and some keys wouldn't work, BOOM, the boys had it up and running in less than a day. Having a laptop that's 4 years old and still works perfect due to these fine upstanding citizens has been a life saver. I can't recommend them anymore as I'd have to marry them or take them on a holiday. Go see them if you have any issues.

Apple Expert is the only place I go to get my Mac repaired in Calgary. Haider's deep wealth of knowledge and the approach he takes to his business keep my mother, and I returning to Apple Expert. Haider does not take advantage of customers. And my experience is that Haider goes further - he often acts generously towards customers. I have found that Haider knows more about Apple products than several Apple staff. Initially, the screen of my Macbook Pro went completely black, out of the blue. No water, no damage, just sudden darkness. I went on the Apple website and booked time with a certified Apple technician at London Drugs in Signal Hill. He charged me for the diagnostics, told me he fixed the issue with a system resent, and gave the computer back. Upon returning home, I found a frustrating discovery! The computer was still broken! I called Apple, and the lady I spoke with said it was likely the logic board, or a system error, or the screen, or something else (she couldn't be sure). She set up a time for me to take the computer to the Apple store in Market Mall to be examined and repaired. I dropped the computer off at the Apple store in Market Mall and was told that they would call when the computer was fixed. Apple didn't call. I ended up having to call the Apple store in Market Mall several days later to check to see if my device was repaired or not. The Apple staff member with whom I spoke told me the laptop was ready to pick up. I drove 45 minutes to pick up the computer. The Apple technician showed me the device to prove it was in working order. The screen illuminated for a few seconds before the technician shut (closed) the laptop. Still in the presence of the Apple staff member, I lifted (opened) the laptop screen. Once again, total blackness appeared on the screen. Apple had not fixed the problem! Frazzled, the Apple staff member deferred to his (presumably) more senior colleague, who informed me "that seemed the logic board was broken, and that would be around $800 to repair; but, it might also be the screen, which would be $600 to repair." He advised, "I repair the logic board first and see if that solved the problem." I felt exasperated at the situation. Nobody, it seemed, could correctly diagnose or fix my laptop's problem. Based on my recent experiences, I doubted the accuracy of Apple's advice and their ability to solve my problem. So, I took my laptop to Haider to get a second opinion. Haider took one look at my computer and said, "It's the screen. The logic board is fine." Seeing the doubt on my face, Haider said, "If I'm wrong, and it's not repaired, I'll fix the logic board for free." We repaired the screen, and Haider was right. But the fact that Haider wasn't out to take advantage of me, the customer, was striking. He cared more about fixing my problem than making money at my expense. I have gone back many times to Apple Expert because I trust Haider's knowledge and how he places his customer's needs and problems first.

I stopped by this shop after the screen on my MacBook pro seemed to have given up the ghost. I explained the issue and the staff were quickly able to give me a probable cause, as well as a price point for each potential repair. Within two hours I received a call saying they had cleaned and repaired my computer with a brand new screen, at a very decent price. Helped to fix my DELL computer! I wish I could leave more than 5 stars. I had delayed repairing my computer for a year because Dell customer support said the issue wasn't covered under warranty, I had to mail them my computer in AND pay $259+tax for the whole thing. I called a few other places before the apple expert and they told me not to bother coming in because Dell wouldn't distribute any of the parts that I likely needed to repair. I had the BEST experience with Apple Experts Calgary. Background: My MacBook Pro was having problems so I went to the Apple Store Genius Bar. They told me I needed a new Logic Board and it would cost $650. I didn't agree to the fix and took my MacBook back. I went to Apple Expert on 14th street and they did a free estimate on the spot.They told me Logic Boards never fail on my type of MacBook unless there is water damage which there was not in my case. They even offered to bring me to their back "labratory" to show me the Logic Board was fine and it was actually my hard drive. They hooked up another hard drive to demonstrate to me. I agreed to work with them in less than 2 hours they had replaced my hard drive and even replaced my keyboard free of charge (what a lovely surprise). If I had gone with Apple Store I would have paid for a Logic Board only to find it was not the problem and would have to replace the hard drive anyway. Their costs are excellent and I highly recommend Apple Experts and will fully trust them with all my Apple Products in the future.

If you want your Apple product repaired, this is where you take it. Mistakenly took my computer elsewhere when they were closed. After much frustration, payment, refund, etc. I was back to where I started - with a computer that didn't function and plenty of wasted time. I took it to Apple Expert who identified the issue within seconds and highlighted where the last person had incorrectly attempted to repair it. In fact, they almost caused too much damage for mine to be repaired without significant costs. Apple Expert then took steps to reverse the work previously done by the incompetent techs at C-Tech computer and properly fix my computer - all within the same day! When I went to pick up my computer (which was after hours at 9:00 PM at night, which they stayed to repair), Haider took his time to explain what was wrong, what was repaired, what was previously incorrectly done and assured me that he warranties all the work that was done. Needless to say, if you want fast, efficient, affordable service from someone who truly knows what they're doing, this is where you need to take your Apple product.

The Mac store quoted me a week to get it fixed and had no idea what was wrong with it. His knowledge and skillset with mac computers is second to none, I definitely recommend. My MacBook Pro died on me. I had stepped on it a couple years ago and it was bent at the top and that was pressing on the logic board. So the logic board finally gave out. I took it to the Apple store and they quoted me $1100 just to replace the logic board and for service costs. I couldn’t afford that, so I brought it to Apple Experts. They took it and called me three hours later to say it was good as new. I went in and not only did they replace the logic board, they also replaced the IO board and fixed the dent so well it looked like it had never existed. They did this all for $500. This place is amazing. I’m never going back to the Apple store again. All Apple wants you to do is buy a replacement. These guys want to fix your Apple gear for a fair price.

I had a year's worth of financial -and other- data saved on what I thought was a good external hard drive. After a software update, my computer would not recognize the drive and I spent two or three days trying to figure out how to repair the drive, or recover the data. I had my water bottle explode in my backpack. My laptop wouldn't turn on so I brought it to these guys the next day. One of the absolute best customer service experiences I have ever had. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and encouraged me to come to the back and watch them as they did the diagnosis. During diagnosis they explained what they were looking for and once they diagnosed the issue (corrosion on several motherboard components) they explained how they would fix it and what it would cost. They also noticed some unrelated issues with the anti-glare coating coming free of the screen and offered to fix that as well but didn't push the matter when I declined. They fixed the logic board within 6 hours and I had a working laptop by the end of the day. Absolutely one of the best repair experiences I've ever had. 5/5 stars.

Simply put, they are just great guys. They have saved me an insane amount of money. A few months back my Macbook air just stopped working out of nowhere. The screen went completely black and I could tell that it was on but I was unable to do anything to fix it. I took it to apple and they had the audacity to quote me $1100 for a repair! That's literally a new laptop. So I brought my laptop here to Apple Expert and they did it for a quart of the price and in half the time Apple quoted me. So naturally I went with AE. It's been almost 4 months now and my laptop is significantly better than before. I don't know what magic they worked on it but I am truly impressed. Then this past weekend I took in my iPhone 11 with a shattered screen and they fixed it in a couple of hours, cleaned it, put a screen protector on it. Iconic. At first I was a bit reluctant because there's an organized chaos theme going on in their shop, but I will never take my electronics elsewhere.

Perfect and quick service. Took my Macbook Pro to the Apple genius bar and was told it would cost $700+ to fix my issue and it would take about 2 weeks before I got my laptop back. NO THANKS! About a month ago, I dropped fell into the Bow River with my iPhone XS Max while losing balance on a paddle board, and because of water damage, I tried to get Apple to replace it. After many attempts, Apple refused to give me a new one, for the reason that my warranty was up and I had water damage, which is typical Apple. Keep in mind this is a XS Max, a phone Apple advertises it to be waterproof up to 2 m for 30 min, and i literally went in and out. Anyway, I went to 3rd party iphone fixing places and they told me I completely lost all hope. My cousin actually saw Apple Expert on a drive and so we decide to give him a try. I was very skeptical at first and had trust issues. So I gave Haddar, the genius behind this business, and he recovered all the data i had lost on my phone. I was shocked and very happy. He fixed my logic board and replaced my screen. I am now using a phone that was absolutely toast and dead. Haddar is a great man and an amazing engineer. I would highly reccommend him to anyone looking to fix or replace any components. He's prices are fair and reasonable, but he get the job done and he does his job very well, which is more important. Don't waste your time with Apple, they use tests that are designed to say that your phone or product fails just so they can take your money.

Amazing service, super fast turnaround, professional service and reasonable prices. I had water damage 6 months ago which only now seemed to have caused problems. I got several quotes on how to deal with the inactive trackpad that resulted, but all required shipping the computer and parting with it for up to 2 weeks. Mac extended warranty was of course useless (never buying into that again when I buy a mac computer). If you have water damage take it to Apple Expert first (do not tell apple, as this will void your warranty). These guys can fix it and apple will never know (and you'll save a ton of money).

We have an iMac which is a couple of years old that slowed to a crawl. I phoned a few places (places with high ratings) but this is the only place that said they would do the diagnosis for free that day. Others wanted to charge me $100 just to look at it and I had to book an appointment. Anyhow, it took them 10 minutes to diagnosis it was a hard drive failure and they did the diagnosis with me on the spot. They told me exactly what they would do to rectify the issue and I went ahead with their repair plan. It was all done later that day. The iMac runs like lightning now. These guys are great! Took my computer there after accidentally dumping a bottle of water on it. NOTE for any who spill liquid on your computer, take it IMMEDIATELY to these guys. They can open it up, and remove the liquid for likely very little charge. This prevents the extreme damage that happens when you let the water dry naturally and leave behind minerals that corrode the parts. I didn't know this and let the water dry before taking it in, so they had to replace quite a few parts on mine. It was expensive, but much less than replacing the whole computer which is what I would have had to do otherwise. They were extremely friendly and helpful, showed me what had happened and explained the whole process, and went out of their way to try to minimize the cost and speed up the process. They will be my first go to for any future issues with any apple products, highly recommend.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for bringing my MacBook Pro back to life!! I honestly thought I'd lost it forever. When it broke due to liquid damage, I took to Apple and of course they wanted to charge an arm and leg to try to fix it, with absolutely no guarantees. They took forever to get back me and when they did they said they couldn't repair and to top it up... they also deleted all my data!! When we took it there, we found out that the data was not the only thing missing from the laptop, the hard drive and some components of the logic board were also gone!! The owner, Haider I believe was his name, is an electrical engineer and he dealt with me personally to recover my data from my MacBook Pro. Not only did he do it in less than 24 hours, it only cost $150. At the Apple Genius Bar it would've cost at least $500. Additionally, walking in there is exactly what I'd expect a computer repair shoppe to look like. It was a small room completely packed with Mac computers with their insides exposed. There were four or five other people working on circuit boards scattered about and a few microscopes with motherboards underneath them. It was awesome!

one of the Apple stores in Edmonton wouldn't fix my liquid damaged MacBook Pro because it was over $1200. was in Calgary for the weekend, decided to pop in and see how the place was based on other reviews. they opened it, diagnosed the problem immediately, showing me what was wrong with the logic board, and quoted me at $700 max, promising not to go over that quote. a day later, it was ready, and he rang me in at under that quote (under!!!) and fixed minor issues such as my screen being wobbly and missing pads on the bottom which neither Apple store in Edmonton had bothered to fix in the past. great service, great turnaround, highly recommend this place!

Took my 2015 mac to London Drugs (Authorized Apple Provider) to fix my water damage, they were unable to fix and said I'd need a new logic board (~$800 + labor), and I would lose all my data... took it to to Apple Expert, and thank goodness I did. I took my laptop in to get a quote after spilling juice on it. For the most part, the quote they gave me was reasonable. However they said my trackpad would for sure need to be replaced ($100 repair), but when I took my laptop to another shop they said the trackpad was completely fine. Also, my laptop had never been opened before, and after taking it to Apple Experts to get a quote, and then going elsewhere to get the work done, the second repair guy found that the part of my laptop that provides power had been aggressively scraped off, as if by a screwdriver or tweezers. Since my laptop had never before been opened, this must've happened when I got the quote at Apple Experts. I can't say if it was on purpose or by accident but either way causing more damage is unprofessional and just annoying. I definitely don't trust Apple Experts because of my short experience there and won't be going back.

I was only in the city for the day (I live 3 hours from Calgary) and had to have both my imac desktop and mac pro laptop serviced. I started at the Apple store where I was told my desktop was "too old" to be fixed with them. I knew it needed a new hard drive installed. My laptop had sticky keys and they gave me a "free" clean to try and help which included a wipe down with an alcohol wipe and dust off spray. Of course this did nothing. I only had 3-4 sticky keys and decided I would take home and use as is. For my imac Apple suggested "Memory Express" where I was told I could get a hard drive but that because of Black Friday happening the next day, they would not be able to do same day service. They gave me Haider's card and I am so glad they did! I took my items to Haider and crew (Rex and other guy lol). I walked into shop (literally an Apple graveyard) and was amazed at the amount of units laying about. I was a bit skeptical thinking there is no way this place is organized to have/repair my apple products. I was so wrong. They were able to repair both my units and had me on my way so I could head home. Excellent service and fair price. Good bye Apple store! I will go to Haider for any apple repairs from now on. In fact, two guys, because Haidar and Dani are both super nice, knowledgeable, trustworthy people. For as long as this place is open, I will be bringing my broken, water damaged or bricked Apple products here to be fixed. The assessment was great: they opened up the laptop and not only explained the components, so now I know what I am looking at when the bottom panel is off, but they actually showed me the corrosion and water damage and explained what they were going to do to fix it. Not impressed! Yes, service was fast, but the job was not done properly. Since then, I have been fully refunded as I took my business elsewhere. I needed to bring in my computer for an upgrade in the hard drive and general maintenance check as I have had my Mac for several years (6+) and it was starting to slow down. I take very good care of my laptop and don’t use it for much more than e-mails, word documents and movies. After having my Mac “fixed” I used my computer for about a month, then it completely crashed. I went to have it looked at elsewhere, since something just didn’t feel right about what was done at Apple Expert and wanted a comparison before choosing to fix it again, or buy something new. I was shown the cheap parts they used in comparison to what should have been done/used to properly fix my computer issues and what the typical base cost before labour was. I was shocked. I lost all my information stored on the cheap hard drive they gave me (thank goodness I had an old back up of my information to restore from). I chose to get my computer completely re-fixed elsewhere. They Apple Experts “fixed” my old hard drive by replacing it with a cheap, low-end part and then charged me much more than what it was worth. They made it sound like I was getting a deal by how fast they got the job done and by gracing me with a $140 “goodwill discount”, but then off-set the “discount” by charging me $100 for a “data transfer” and $90 for an “enclosure” and "thermal contact" (these prices are much, much more than the base cost, even with labour included). I did not know any better since that was the first time in 6 years I have ever had to have my Mac looked at. Lesson learned for me, and like I said, I have been fully refunded. Just hoping to pass on the knowledge.

Pop destroyed my business MAC book Pro and a MAC book air. Apple expert was able to fix the sticky pop damage and the corrosion that resulted from leaving it too long without getting it fixed. Highly recommended for the service, professionalism is unbelievable. Price for the MAC book air was extremely low, where as the MAC book pro needed a full rebuild, including main board, IO board, Keyboard and Track pad, plus full restoration and cleaning. Can not say enough good things about this place. Was quoted close to $800 at multiple repair shops (including some Apple authorized shops) to replace the hugely swollen battery in my mid-2015 Macbook Pro. Some repair centers even refused to do it, stating that the battery was glued in and could not be replaced. The ones that agreed to do it stated I had to leave my laptop there until parts came in (about a week). Called the Apple Expert folks and was quoted $250 installed! Drove up from Lethbridge same day, dropped it off and had a brand new Apple battery installed only a couple of hours later! Absolutely top-notch service and very helpful people. Customer for life!

At 11 am, after reading the horror stories online, I walked into Apple Expert, and 15 minutes later they had assessed the damage and gave me a quote (try THAT at the Apple Store). At 6:30 pm we picked it up, good as new. This is the repair shop that used to exist for appliances, when appliances were worth fixing, and when business was by word of mouth and handshakes. I had a wonderful experience with Apple Expert. I spilled an entire glass of water on my Mac and did what they tell you to do online - turn it off immediately, and lay it out to dry... Note - to everyone who has liquid damaged their device - do NOT attempt to "dry it out".... take it to Apple Expert IMMEDIATELY. By letting it sit for a week, Apple Expert informed me that i had done more harm than good as the inner components had begun to rust and become even more damaged. The team had my computer up and running in a few days at a reasonable price (I checked Best Buy and Apple before taking my device here and both were nearly double the price). These guys were extremely helpful, informative and fair. I cant recommend them enough!

Customer service here was excellent. I took in my computer with a cracked screen along with the screen going black from dropping my computer. They replaced the screen for a fair price very quickly and it was back to me within a day. After getting my computer back it was discovered that my logic board was also damaged from the fall and needed to be fixed too. I didn’t want to continue to put money into an old computer so I asked if he would consider buying my computer for scrap. This was my second visit to this store and the experience was even better than the first. The main man Haider is personable, professional, thorough and dependable. He rebuilt part of my 2011 MacbookPro 17 mother board to eliminate an issue with the screen going in and out. I also got 2 new SSD hard drives and all the data transferred. I was really surprised at the bill, and I questioned those guys as to why it was so little money... I know it sounds strange, but if I get great service and great equipment, I expect to pay a great price. Well in this case it was way below what I budgeted, and it turns out I was charged very little for the rebuilding of my motherboard, and I was told: "well sir we like to take care of our repeat clientele" Holy Molly. I took it down there on Saturday morning for 11 and by 4:30 it was done, on quote and now it runs like a brand new machine. This is the absolutely best place in Calgary for Mac care, they actually care for us as much as the Macs. Took my 2012 MBP for a battery replacement. They did it on the spot, in and out in 10 minutes. They also took the time to clean out 8 yrs of dust and debris from the inside, fine tuned my hard drive which was earlier replaced by another vendor and replaced a missing screw and all 4 missing feet - all at no extra charge! This is the place to go for any Apple product repairs! The display broke on my Macbook pro. I went to the Apple store and they quickly told me the only fix available was a brand new screen for 625$ plus tax and it would take 5-6 days. They were also late for the appointment that they made me schedule with them. Instead I took my Macbook to Apple Expert where I was able to walk in and talk to someone right away (no appointments necessary). They took my computer for free diagnostics. When they called me back, they were very honest and gave me two options with prices. They told me they were able to REPAIR my computer screen instead of replacing it, saving me tons of money. They ended up fixing my Macbook screen for a very low cost within 1 day, and included a 6 month warranty. These people are great at what they do. I brought my MacBook pro in because the track pad wasn't working properly. They replaced some damaged components that he thought were likely the cause. I brought it home it worked fine for a couple of hours but then started acting up again. They told me to bring it back and they replaced some additional components but didn't charge me any more for this. Now my computer is working better than it ever did and it cost a fraction of the price it would have to get it repaired elsewhere. I would highly recommend this place. These guys were lifesavers. I had a water damaged Mac that wouldn’t start up or charge. I took it in and the tech took my laptop apart and walked me through what needed to be fixed. I’m not a computer expert but it was very obvious how much corrosion there was. They took my laptop in, repaired everything that needed to be fixed and cleaned out my keyboard for me. I was promised a 1 TB Solid State Drive. Instead I got a 0.5 GB one. It is very hard to restore 1 TB of Time Machine material onto a smaller (albeit faster) new Hard Drive. Disappointed. Now here is my second note. Sir, it seems far too good to be true that you score a 5.0 on 238 reviews. Far too good to be true. No business is perfect. Are you? Being defensive (and I suspect deceptive does not work in Canada). Perhaps you come from a different culture where corruption is the norm. It does not work in Canada!

I took it into this store and they dried all my components and ended up saving all my information. When I went there he provided a free diagnostic of my laptop, my laptop was liquid damaged; due to which many parts of my logic board were damaged. He fixed this at a much lower price than Apple, and I got my laptop completely fixed back in two days only. He also provided a 6-month warranty and threw in some acessories for free as well. Overall the customer service here was great and I would 100% recommend him.

I went to apple to get my computer diagnosed. They basically told me I Would need to replace my "logic board because the graphics card was breaking down within in" which is how they explained that my computer was working in "safe-mode" and not regular start up. Took my computer to the Apple Expert's and they loaded my computer through regular boot-up with their own hard drive proving that there was clearly nothing wrong with my "logic board". They were able to fix my computer by wiping the hard drive and cleaning a small amount of corrosion from the logic board. All in it cost me 409$ compared to Apple's quote of 620$ for a new logic board, or their offer of 100$ to take my "broken" Mac Book Air towards the purchase of a new apple product.

Our 2018 MacBook Pro was water damaged and would not power on. The Apple store advised they could not fix the computer for a price lower than a new computer nor could they recover the files. The Apple store recommended sending the computer to a data recovery company in the U.S. but when contacted by us this company advised they could not fix the computer itself but possibly could recover the data, for a very large fee, which was inconsistent with various on-line research reports saying data recovery from a 2018 MacBook Pro first requires a functioning logic board. Fortunately we contacted Apple Expert here in Calgary and received amazing service: Haider explained the situation to us fully, recovered the data, fixed the computer and provided a guarantee, all done in a short period during the busy Christmas period. If we ever have any Apple equipment problems we will go directly to Apple Expert - if someone told me Apple Expert is the most capable Apple repair company in North America I would believe it.

Well after clumsily knocking over a pop onto my MacBook Air and watching it shut off I feared the worse. Searching for a repair place, luck would have it there was one around the corner. They were able to 1. Calm me down cause I had feared the worse and 2. They opened it up showed me what would need to be fix and what was good. I was told to come back tomorrow and it would be good to go. Sure enough it was fixed in less than 24hrs and it was gold. Since I had a battery and CD unit issues, I went to Chinook Center Apple to fix it. They asked me to buy a new battery Downtown, which I did.But my issue with the CD unit still persisted and Apple just let me know the only way to have a solution is to buy a new apple MacBook Pro. Because I did not have sufficient money, I ask a man where can I go to fix that and he told me about Apple Expert and I went there, I have a quick cheapest solution. In addition he taught me how to fix problem in my computer, which is amazing. I have never seen case like that. Now, I keep in touch with him and I am no longer in need to go to the Apple Store anymore.

Apple Experts are run by consummate and friendly professionals. After my laptop crashed, I went to the Apple Store for a diagnostics appointment. They told me that it was a problem with the hard drive and that I would need to buy a brand new drive to fix the problem. After I bought a new drive from the store that Apple recommended, I called Apple Experts by chance to see if they could recover the data off my old drive. They took one look at my laptop and properly identified the problem as actually being related to a faulty cable connected to the hard drive and not the hard drive itself. This is something that the Apple Store should have checked right away, but they didn't. Not only did Apple Experts fix the problem within 30 minutes for cheap (compared to the cost of buying a new drive and recovering the data), but they also called the store where I bought the new drive from and arranged a refund for me. This was excellent service, going above and beyond standard expectations. I will always go to Apple Experts anytime I have a problem with my Apple products and I strongly recommend visiting them.

FANTASTIC SERVICE. I had problems with my hard drive and after phoning apple customer support was told my computer was toast and that I needed to buy a new one. I brought it here, and they fixed it in one day. They were very knowledgeable and explained what they were doing in simple terms to me. My MackBook Air turned into a brick after going into sleep mode yesterday. None of the usual routines - holding down power or shift-control-option-power keyboard sequenced were able to bring it back to life. A quick check with someone who had previously taken their MBPro and gave them a high recommendation - I jumped into the car. This business has provided me with a stellar customer service experience - I had liquid damage in my MacBook Pro and it was was repaired for much less than the apple store quoted me for; the turnaround time was just a couple days and it was a remarkably painless experience. I had to follow-up a few months later due to a software issue, and the 6-month guarantee on all work was upheld. I would certainly give this place my business again and again in the future, but hopefully I won't have to.

I brought a 2011 MacBook Pro into Apple Expert Mac Repair after it froze while in the process of updating and never recovered. We thought all of our data was lost--including family pictures. He was able to do a full data recovery and rebuilt the laptop with solid state hard drive, new touch pad etc. Can't say enough about how helpful Hadair was. He does a great job of explaining what happened, how it can be fixed and how to keep the computer running well go-forward. What a great resource and font of knowledge about Apple computers. Used to be water damage or failed component meant a new logic board or a new computer if Apple had declared your model to be vintage. Haider has fixed several computers and tuned up several others for me and he has never been satisfied until he delivered superior results... "good enough" is NOT in his vocabulary. Obviously, not every problem has a fix, but if there is one, Haider will find a way to get it done.

I came here for my MacBook Pro which I had purchase years ago. A little over a month ago, my laptop stopped working and I went to Apple where they told me I had liquid damage to my laptop. They stated that they were able to fix it however, it would cost the same amount as getting a brand new laptop. I held off on it very discouraged. On Friday, I went to Apple Expert and they checked my computer, turns out it wasn't even liquid damage but the hard drive. They were SUPER nice, super honest with me, and they even replaced the little accessories at the back of my laptop. I never thought I'd be able to use my laptop again. My cat had knocked a glass of water onto my computer, and after being told by another repair place that it was irreparable - and subsequently kins of duped into donating the parts in exchange for data collection and the initial diagnostic (aka taking the computer back off - two things NOT comparable in price) - my cat did the same to the computer I replaced it with. I ended up going here, and though I was frustrated to find out that I had not received a proper diagnostic and Apple Expert (even after going through the photos of my allegedly fried laptop) could have fixed my first computer, which was already stripped for parts at that point, I was really happy with the way they explained it to me! He explained how he could have fixed it and took apart the newly broken computer in front of me, showing me where all the corrosion was and explaining to me exactly what needed to be replaced and breaking down the price. Turnaround was less than two days (amazing, as I am a university student currently climbing a mountain of final papers, and part of my actual job involves graphics work) and they had cheap, effective laptop covers for sale. I really appreciated Apple Expert's efficiency, honesty, and the way they explained every detail of what they were doing to me without being condescending or patronizing, just helpful. They are obviously busy but took the time. Will definitely go back to them if something were to ever happen again; however, my next purchase is going to be unspillable cups.

Go here first! I had a 6 month old mac book air that suffered liquid damage. I had two active warranties on the machine that were not useful to me in that situation. Apple advised it was not worth repairing because it would cost more than a new machine. I dropped my mac off at Apple Expert, after reading the reviews on Google. It was given to them mid afternoon and that same evening I got a call saying that it was repaired. The technician/owner of the store will open your computer in front of you and inventory the components to determine what is damaged. They repaired my logic board and replaced my track pad and a cable. Smart, experienced team and fair pricing. I had a really great experience.

I spilled 1L of water through the keyboard on my SSD mac book pro that I use for work. It would not turn back on. I was told by The Apple Store that it was unrepairable. I Called Apple Expert in Calgary, not only did they take apart my computer in front of me to check damage, they gave me a quote and time of completion while I waited. I showed up and they put aside all their other work to help fix my computer. I had called many places before hand and was quoted a few hundred more for the same job and was told I would need to wait a few days to a couple weeks. Apple expect had the screen I needed on hand And fixed my MacBook within an hour. Haiter explained in detail what he had done and about my MacBook. I appreciated the advice and the treatment I received from Apple Expert and would always go back and suggest to anyone with an Apple product to go there.

I bought my re-furbished MacBook Air from Haider about a year ago and it was working perfectly until I spilled water on it and it was dead...I didn't even consider taking it anywhere else. Incredible same day service on my water damaged 2014 macbook air. Great experience. I took my mac in with a broken screen and within less than a day, I got my mac back fixed with a new panel since they did not have enough time to fix the screen. Mac Mechanic had a look at my computer and sent me home with the battery disconnected and an offer to buy my computer from me (Seemed weird. I took my MacBook computer into the Apple store at Chinook Mall because my internal display wasn't working. When I plugged it in to an HDMI to an external screen it would work. They opened my computer and pressed a reset button and told me that the display was shot and that it would cost me $600 to fix. When I took my computer to Apple Expert, I walked in without an appointment and I was immediately helped. He actually opened up my computer to see the issue inside in my computer and said he could fix it in 10 minutes and for less than half the cost. They took it to the back, came back and said it would cost me $1650 to repair it....ironically a new one is 1700 ???? This place was half that and solved problem. Next was iPhone speaker was not working Apple store said I needed a new speaker for $260 and that I was better off getting a new phone. Also that next time I should get Apple care. This place $100. The speaker itself wasn’t even the issue.

I went to Apple because my laptop would boot to a black screen and they immediately tried to tell me that the screen needs to be replaced for $600 and that it would take at least 2 weeks. My screen was NOT damaged, it made no sense. I took it to Haider and he confirmed my suspicions that it was not the screen. I took my macbook air in for water damage and happened to ask if they take laptops to recycle as I had made the same mistake a year ago and the Apple Store told me it was unusable, gave me the hard drive and told me that they recycle them there. I had forgotten to drop it off, and for whatever reason thought of it at Apple Expert, where he told me NEVER to recycle as Apple sells them to people like him for $300. He then refurbishes the laptop (replaces hard drive, etc.) and resells it for $900! He then took both my water damaged computers and used the parts to fix it for $472.50. It turned out my computer that needed to be 'recycled' was actually in better shape than my existing water damaged one. So grateful for their fast and honest work! Definitely recommend their services!

Highly recommend these guys. They are to the point, quick and honest. My macbook pro's harddrive went bad and I took it in at an apple certified center. They took 3 weeks to diagnose the problem and suggested I had to replace the hard drive. So, I took it in to the Apple experts and Haider found and confirmed the issue within minutes. Before I brought it to Apple Expert, I could only use my Ipad for 1 hour even though the battery capacity before use was still 100%. Haider Issa, is a shop owner who specializes in repairing and replacing the battery on my Ipad. He worked on all the items that were left there to be repaired with very good quality work. I saw how he fixed my Ipad, like he treats it as his personal property. The result of changing the battery on my Ipad worked well and I am very satisfied with the work. I swam into the ocean with my phone around a year ago. I brought it in to see if it was worth fixing. They quoted me right away what it would be to fix the screen (which was quite reasonable), but were very forward that there might be bigger problems that need to be fixed because of the damage. They then took the phone, opened it up, and informed me that (unless I needed the data off it) it wasn’t worth it for me to fix it. There was corrosion that had started on the inside of the phone, and even if the screen was fixed it wouldn’t be long until the phone started acting up in other ways. I highly appreciated that they took the time to do a more thorough check, and were very transparent. Even though my phone is beyond saving, this showed me they are trustworthy, and have excellent customer service. If I decide to ruin another one of my electronics, they will be my first stop.

My phone was broken, pretty bad and I had taken it to a few places and without seeing it I was quoted $400 to $1,000.(its an old Apple 6, would be cheaper to get a new phone but wanted the data on the phone) I bought it in here after researching around and seen the high reviews... well I am glad I did. This is the best place ever. They fixed water damage in one of our computers and added storage and a new battery to another one (while Apple had said there was nothing that could be done!!). Now we have to working computers, instead of having to buy new ones. Plus: Haider is soooo friendly and nice, it's a pleasure going there and talking to him. Also he'll often fix little things on the go without extra charge or he'll give you a spare part for free. Excellent service! After finding Apple Expert on google we inquired on the website for a quote. We heard back right away with a quote that was $600 cheaper than the 2 quotes we received from 2 different prominent computer repair shops. After reading the rave reviews we decided to take a chance and ship our 11" Mac Air to Haider to fix our cracked screen. When fixing the screen he noticed some water damage from a previous incident so offered to fix that as well for a reasonable price. He then made sure everything was working, updated our OS and shipped it back within the same day ( and provided the tracking number). So I was an idiot and hadn't been backing up my computer properly, everything stopped working, computer wasn't connecting to the hard drive, as far as I could tell everything was gone (I'm a university student so this means assignments, thesis, basically my whole life). Took it to these guys and they had a new hard drive in my computer (this time SSD) and managed to recover everything that I had thought I'd lost within the day! Absolutely amazing service, really really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people working there, would highly recommend! 4 Months later my fan stopped working and they replaced it for free (thanks to their amazing 6 month warranty). I decided upon apple exert because they have the best reviews for fixing apple products. They are the real deal I went to apple to first to see what they were going to charge to fix my MacBook air, the keyboard had stopped working after I dropped something on the keyboard. Apple first charged an $80 fee just to look at it and they came back to me with a quote upwards of $700. I went to apple expert and he opened up the computer in front of me and had a free diagnosis which ended up costing me $300 to fix it and came with a warranty which apple wasn't offering after they fixed it. I will never take anything to apple to get fixed again. These guys are the best plain and simple. Thanks for all the help

I came to this store after liquid damage on my MacBook Pro. Their service is incredibly fast and personable, and has saved me a few hundreds of dollars from repair at the Apple Store which is especially great because I'm a student. They will go out of their way to make sure you get the best service. In my visits they even threw in a free case and keyboard protector to prevent future liquid damage and replaced my trackpad free of charge.

Five stars aren't enough for this place...There's a reason why Apple Expert has so many great reviews. Haider is just AMAZING!!! If you have any trouble with your laptop you must go here! No appointments needed! He can fix anything and will identify all the issues right away. Unlike other places where they don't promise you anything and just takes your laptop to the back room and you are just hopelessly waiting, first thing he does is to calm you down and reassures you that he'll be able to fix it. He lets you see what he's doing and explains thoroughly what the problem is and how he is going to fix it. It's surprising how he can repair any issues in such a short time. Not only he is very skilled, you can also tell that he has so much passion for his work and loves to help others. I went into Apple after my phone randomly shut down and was unusable after plugging it into my MacBook. I went to Apple prior about my iPhone not connecting properly to my MacBook. They gave me a new charger and sent me on my way. This did not solve the problem. I went in regarding the same issue and the issue of my phone randomly shutting down on occasion and the iPhone not properly connecting to my laptop. The Apple “genius” said that iTunes showed my phone was backed up and then proceeded to delete my content. Yeah the data was not backed up and a simple check on the actual computer would have showed that. Apple wiped my phone, deleted all my content, never fixed my original problem and said there was nothing they could do to help me. They sent over a different “genius” after realizing they messed up and he actually recommended I go to see Appll Expert Inc. I went to them immediately after getting out of the Apple store and when I tell you his customer service was 1000 times better than Apple I MEAN IT! He immediately understood what was happening, looked at the system in the MacBook and saw that my phone had not backed up successfully to my computer in 5 months! After being to the Apple Store 3 times for this issue and never having it fixed!! He let me know that it would be difficult but he would try his best. He walked me through what was happening, the solutions to fix it and the possible outcomes. He told me the price up front and was extremely understanding of the situation. Not even 24 hours later, he called me and told me that he extracted EVERYTHING from the incomplete back ups, fixed the error on my phone AND fixed my laptop. There is no way I could have done any of this on my own and I am beyond pleased with this company. I have an old MacBook Pro that Apple said they couldn’t fix and I will be bringing it to them because I have 100% faith in their abilities. If Apple has done you wrong, you need to go straight to them, even the “geniuses” at Apple know that they can do better than them.

Absolutely amazing, top notch service! Recommended by a colleague at work after I mentioned my 17" 2011 MacBook Pro had a graphics card issue. After taking it to the Apple Store and being told it was unable to be fixed, I had though it was now past its prime and needed to be replaced. I bought my second hand MacBook Air laptop from india for $800 and it hardly worked for a month and when I gave my laptop back for repair to the guy I bought it from in India they told me it was water damaged and it was my fault which I did not believe so I took it to apple show room and they said the MLB board was damaged so I went back to the guys I bought it from with the proof there was no water and not my fault so they took my laptop and gave it for repair to many places many times and still did not work. The damages were the same price I bought it for $800 so I gave up hope with them. But I came to Calgary and found Apple Expert | Mac Data Recovery Calgary | Mac Repair Center and I read about them they are really good and the best so I went there with confidence and they said it’s a very tough job to fix my laptop because parts where missing and damaged badly but still they said they can fix it even though it’s a very tough job. So they said they will repair the old logic board and see it’s for permanent then they will give it to me otherwise they will repair the old logic board and if it does not work they won’t charge me for that but fix a new one for me so i agreed.They called me back that my laptop was fixed. They repaired the old logic board with new trackpad and trackpadcable and said it’s been permanently fixed these guys are life savers and the best at their job to be honest my lap was already past four years and more than a year it was dead so I am really happy that I got my laptop back from the dead and also charged lesser.

I took my laptop to a different repair company, and came to really regret it. I went to the other company, to have my DC jack replaced because I noticed the plug was black on some of the connectors. Somewhere along the lines I was told that the screen shorted out because of a short in the power jack. I had never had an issue with my screen, and it was working fine when I had given it to them. I was told that the machine was basically a paperweight. Now, I do mechanic work on the side, so I know that you can generally alway replace a part of something, for much cheaper than replacing the whole of the machine (you don't replace your whole truck when you have a burnt out tail light do you?) So the day I got it back from them, I took it right to apple, to see if they had the same diagnosis. What they saw when you took the back panel off was sight to behold. I'll attach photos of it. There was signs of flux (the glossy liquid looking material around the chips) in places there really as no business of it being. Screws were in the wrong place, and even a Phillips screw in the machine (Mac does not use Phillips screws). Apple said they wouldn't touch it, and that it looked like whoever was working on it before hand was just "guessing". The guy I talked at apple recommended a local company, called Apple Experts to take a look at it. I brought it to Apple Experts, and immediately he noticed the issues. He went to show me how he would remove the flux, he showed me that the screen wasn't "shorted" but that the plug from the screen to the board has been chipped, likely because the guy who worked on it at the other company did not put it in properly, or took it out too roughly. He hooked up a different monitor and it immediately sprung to life, confirming the broken plug from my monitor. I have a photo in there of the old display plug, if you look on the right side of the plug, you can notice the broken piece. it's small, but its enough to need replacing. So Apple Experts quoted me a higher price than the other place did, but have I gone with them in the first place, the different in price would have been negligible. These guys charge what they do because they know what they are doing. This is not guess work for them. They KNOW what they are doing. The next day I got a call saying it was all fixed. When I got to Apple Experts, they showed me it, all cleaned up (the last photo should be the clean board. You'll know which picture is the clean board) It took Apple Experts less than 24 hour to have my computer back to me, completely fixed. Apple Experts, you have earned a new client. You are a good, honest company, and you do great work. I can not recommend them enough. Thank you!

Took my MacBook in to Apple Experts because it wouldn't boot up. Haider explained in detail what the issue was and it was worth repairing.I researched what he had told me and I also had a diagnosis from the Apple store. Apple would would replace the GPU which would fail again down the road. I had watermelon juice spill all over my macbook air, so much that it was literally dripping out of my ports. I took it to the Apple store to see what they could do and they said that there was literally puddles of juice in my laptop and that it would be $1320 to fix all of the damage to the display, keyboard, battery, logic board, hard drive, and the whole nine yards. What apple quoted me was more than my laptop cost me to buy, and being a student it was not in the budget to get it fixed or get a new one. As soon as I left I googled Apple repair shops in Calgary and Apple Expert was the first one to pop up and with over 500 reviews and 4.9 stars I figured they would be my best bet to see just how damaged my laptop was. When I took it in, they opened my laptop right in front of me (which was something apple did not do) and explained to me what was going on with the liquid damage. They quoted me $650 to fix it all and that I shouldn't be worried about it. It took them 24 hours to fix my laptop. 24 HOURS!! They replaced a bunch of things but most importantly my display and the hard drive were completely fine. For half of the cost of what Apple told me I have my computer back and working just as well as it was before. I could not be happier with the service I received from them it was amazing. I honestly could not recommend them enough. They saved me so much money and stress.

So happy because my Mac Book Pro is fixed! I initially took my Mac to London Drugs where I was told that my hard drive had failed and the only chance of recovering the data would be to send it to a clean room where there was a slim chance of recovering the data for between $1,000 to $1,500! Needless to say I chose not to take this route. Instead did a bit of research on the internet and found the Apple Expert in Calgary. The Apple Expert guys restored everything on my computer (including recovering all my data), installed a new hard drive, and updated all my software so my computer is now a lot faster, in less than an hour and only charged a fraction of the cost of what London Drugs had originally quoted. I was completely blown away by their expertise, and knowledge which seems to leave the other stores standing. Would strongly recommend the Apple Expert to all.

These guys are unbelievable. Definitely know what they are doing. My external hard drive got corrupted with all my back-up photos and they were able to recover EVERYTHING!!! I definitely thought my pictures were gone. They are not only MAC experts but data recovery specialists. Before finding these guys, I spent over 40 hours on the phone with Apple directly over many weekends and they couldn't figure out how to recover my old aperture pictures and get them recovered into the new mac photos app. The Apple Expert however, were able to recover everything and they also upgraded my old hard drive on the MAC to a solid state drive. I brought in my Air for repair due to cleaning liquid getting in the keyboard and messing with the keys. Once the laptop opened in front of me, I was also pointed moisture had started showing around the circuits. The solution was to change the keyboard and clean the board. Once I picked up the laptop, I was explained that more work had to be done to make the laptop function. Despite the extra work, I was not charged any more than the original quote. I am so thankful for the knowledge and integrity of this team! I recommend them immensely. Trust them, they are experts!

Amazing service, super informative, and great price! I had taken my MacBook Pro into Apple because the screen wouldn't turn on. They had said it was likely my logic board or top case, that it would be quite expensive, and that I might want to consider buying a new Mac instead. I wanted to make sure I could backup my hard drive first, and I was pretty sure that my 4 year old Pro didn't need to be recycled and replaced. I went into Apple Expert to see about data recovery (which I did not end up needing) and he was able to fix my Mac the same day! It was actually my screen and not the logic board. My iPhone 7+ was not working anymore and I was devastated as I had really important data still on it and I had no back up. Regardless to say that I did go to the Apple Store at Market Mall. What can I say "Never again" - service was bad and after an 1 hour wait I got nothing out of it. A friend of mine recommended "Apple Expert/Mac Repair Center Calgary" so I phoned first and dropped my phone off 20 min later. I left it there for two days and after one day they let me know that they could recover my data. They were always straight forward and honest about how long they think my phone would probably still work - could be a day or a year. So they recommended a new phone and since I am struggling with money right now they even researched a cheap but still quality alternative. They even offered to help me with a back up onto my laptop. I am impressed about their service, professionalism, quality and responsiveness - they went above and beyond. Again thank you from the bottom of my heart. I highly recommend this place and a matter of fact I did already to a bunch of my friends .

They are not necessarily scammers, but they are definitely not professional. 1. They keep a customer waiting for two days, another two days, again and again, but they actually don’t do anything to service a customer’s computer. 2. I saw with my own eyes, a lady goes to the shop to service her iMac computer, with a power chord attached to it, but when the shop gives the iMac back to the customer there is no chord with it, until the customer finally finds it missing then they will give it to the customer. They say all the time “we are PROFESSIONAL”, I just couldn’t see any professionalism in this, plus, they are rude to customer.

Great service!! I had problems with my hard drive and was told by Apple Support that nothing could be done. I took it to Apple Expert - not only did they fix my laptop, clean it and recover my data while explaining the problems, it is now a lot faster and like brand new! Months later and I noticed I had another problem (of my own fault) - fixed within 3 hours for no charge! I highly recommend Apple Expert Mac Repair!

Whaaaat??? These guys are excellent!!! took my Macbook Pro into the Apple Store for a diagnosis on the dreaded " blank screen " to be told I would need a new screen from Apple for only 650 bucks!!!! So I took it to Apple Experts for a confirmation on the diagnosis. They diagnosed it and I only need a small repair to where the screen joins the keypad. They did it for way less than 1/2 the price!!!! And the job was done in hours, not days, plus having to send my computer to Apple. With excellent customer service and a real Pro shop I had complete confidence leaving my computer with Apple Experts. Highly recommend this company!!
