Disappointing and questionable. I have a messed up BIOS menu preventing me from the installation of a new OS. I was needing Carlos to do that and set up the BIOS.. but... uneventful I walked out with a new OS. + Still needing the fix for which I got nothing but wasted time and a OS with the BIOS which he couldn't repair.

Last week I've lost a very small, cheap but semi hard to find object that makes my laptop impossible to use without it (ThinkPad Red Cap). I frantically called these guys hoping they'd have some and I'd love to even pay 10-20 dollar for it. They didn't know if they'd have one at first and I was about to panic. But the guy heard of my desperation in my voice and said (I'll look for it, if you come in later i'll see if it'll be there). I said great! Thank you. But then things got even busier at home so I didn't even make it at the time I'd said I would (1pm), and ended up going there at like 3. I showed up, thinking nothing would happen. Turns out that worker took my call actually went and tried to find it, he maybe then went for lunch or something but still gave the red cap to another employee out front. So when I arrived, I was still a bit panicking, said (hey there! Sorry if this is random, but I've called this morning and asked if you guys would have a thinkpad...) then he just got a smile and pointed at a think pad red cap already placed at the front desk, and said "Here take it!". I was about to cry with gratitude and was asking if I could pay for it. They said no and its all right. I've then turned around see if I can buy a old thinkpad battery to maybe help them out. And they said (ah take it home and try it see if it works, if not then bring it back :) ). What a great place, 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants people to help them with computers and actually care about their customers.

If I could leave zero stars I would!!! The lady today at the front had such attitude and tried to act like she was better than me when I had questions. She was very disrespectful and I did not use their services nor would I recommend than. Sad thing is the other employees are prob good but pay the price of loosing business due to her better than you attitude in facial expressions and speech.

The worst service ever. Took my PC in for an estimate to change broken heat fan. When the estimate came in too high I decided not to have it fixed there. Got home, started my PC and found out that some of my software programs including my search engines with all my favorites were deleted. As well I could tell that there were little pieces of stuff lose inside my laptop. I opened it, got rid of those broken little plastic pieces, unhooked my broken fan and ordered new one from China. Replacement fan showed up in 2 weeks. Total cost of fan was $10.40 plus 20 minutes of work putting my laptop back together. Works like a charm. These people had no permission to touch any of my software programs or my personal files but they decided to go thru my laptop and make changes anyway. I would never ever recommend them to anyone.

Carlos is the best !! When Telus tech could not fix my problem after being on the phone with them for an hour , they suggested I take my computer to a local technician. Carlos, after checking things out for awhile, was able to fix it with one click on the right site. Didn't even want to be paid for that.

Awesome job Carlos. If i need any work on my laptop ill bring it to you for sure. Carlos is top knotch, knows his stuff. His prices are bar none the best around. My laptop had a bad hard drive, broken power adapter, broken lcd screen, and was overheating. It was cheaper for me to repair my gaming laptop than to buy a crappy laptop at best buy. My computer is like new. Absolute computers will take care of you 100 percent!!!!

Yes his prices may be reasonable, but my experience was less than pleasurable. I found him quite unprofessional. I was not given a time estimate to when I would receive a phone call about my computer, so I waited in town for several hours before I finally called him and asked when I should expect to hear back. I then had to call back 2 days later only to find out that the "free" initial assessment was completed and my computer was unfixable and was ready for pickup (he had not said anything about performing any repairs, and I did not consent to any repairs), but I was now unavailable to do so until after his closing hours. He was very reasonable with his flexibility for after hours pickup. Thank you for that. I received a phone call the next day stating that my computer, that he originally said was unfixable and only worth a <$40 trade in was now working for perfectly and I could trade it in for $100. He then told me that the repair would cost $100, which I had NOT approved. So when I informed him that I did not approve the costs and I did not feel it was my responsibility to now pay him for work that I did not ask him to do, he got quite rude and hung up on me. If he had called me to inform me that he may be able to fix it and that the cost would be as such, I likely would have given him the go ahead. This scenario was just very unprofessional and was the product of poor communication. Now I have to sit around for hours hoping that he doesn't trash the computer before it gets picked up. I had read his reviews and gone to him specifically because of the wonderful things being said about his service and prices. Would have been very willing to pay for the repair on my laptop if he had informed me that it was doable. When he initially told me that my laptop was not fixable, I had made arrangements with my close family member who repairs computers to rebuild it at a much lower cost than even this guy could offer. I went to absolute originally because of the sudden crash and to see what all the damage and repairs would cost. Much like I do with my vehicle, I service shop. And if I can do it myself for cheaper, I will. This left me feeling like I had zero option of what to do with MY computer and MY hard earned dollar. Those are choices I have a right to. Please please please, sir. Get customer approval first so that this doesn't happen again.
