Love this place! Took some makeup courses at glow and absolutely loved my time with them. Teachers were knowledgeable and have real industry experience. After graduating I continue to get opportunities to take part in practical industry events which is invaluable in helping build my confidence, experience and connections in the industry. The school has flexible class schedule which worked best for me as I work during the day. Teachers were good too, working professionals in the industry. Good teaching and learning atmosphere with lots of diverse opportunities and support were provided. Had opportunities for practical placements as well and also received a comprehensive makeup kit. Registered for a number of courses and excited to return for more courses in the future.

I completed the the lash extensions course in mississauga. My teacher Iwana was patient and a great teacher. If you are a fast learner, you will love this quick course but my classmate wasnt so she was offered extra time to learn which i thought was so great. The makeup and hair classes were so busy it looked great. i think i will upgrade myself soon for makeup.

I was surprised of how cheap the academy was. I chose this school because the hours and the day of the week worked for me. The teacher was awesome and the students were great! Everyone provided encouragement to one another. However the given was a super cheap kit, the “hot tool” provided as a curling iron that was $40. You would expect to get a certificate in the end right? Well they are so cheap they email it to you! Like I just paid you all this money to not have a proper certificate? In the end you do a photo shoot and are given 4 photos for your portfolio which are also all emailed to you! I expected a bit out of the amount of money that was paid. A review of an academy is based on ever aspect with the program which includes the learning and expectations of the school providing the program. So therefore my review is not based on something that I got for free. When you are paying a huge amount for course fees are it is stressed that you are getting a kit with the course, I am sure the fees include the kit. As far as the "digit world", I must have missed that part on your website. My apologies. However, I do think it would be a good idea to have both options available for your students. I am sure there is others, not only me that would be a hard copy. I was not charged a photographer fee but it was stressed that the photography session on the last day of class is included in the program so I am not sure why you would mention that I was not charged so I should be happy about that. Overall, the teacher (Riz) was great, I learned some great techniques from her but the school just was not to my expectations in the end. I feel like the school cheaped out by giving no certificate, cheap supples, and digitally sent photos.

I LOVE GLOW ACADEMY...!!! I travelled all the way from Kenya, Africa to pursue what I have always wanted. I was not sure if I had made the right decision to join Glow as I was literally in another continent.. lol however when I came to Canada and I started my courses I was more than happy to have joined Glow. All the courses I took were taught very well, not only the practicals but the theory for each and every course was detailed, which for me was beyond my expectations. The academy also makes sure that you as a student are market ready to start up. I took makeup courses, hair design, facials, mani/pedi to name a few and I enjoyed doing all of them. The academy provides with start up material so you as a student can practice not only at the college but also at home or on your friends during your free time. This also is a great advantage for international students as it saves you the trouble to go look for the things from different places. Last but not the least, everyone I met at the college was very helpful to me. The owner ( Mahana) answered all my never ending questions, the administrator (Sana), too is a wonderful human being and the most helpful person I have come across. My teachers for all the different courses (Maria, Jessica, Riz and Myda) you are wondeful teachers, thank you so much for teaching me well and making me industry ready. I would highly recommend Glow Academy to anyone who wants to learn makeup/hair design/aesthetics etc. I wish I could give it a 10 star ????

I have to say, I am so lucky to have found Glow College and my instructor Maria Bucci when I was looking for a Nail Enhancements course. I chose this class because as a beauty professional I don’t like being given kits, I like to experiment and find my own things. Instead, I wanted quality education which is exactly what I received from Maria at Glow College in Brampton. I was so pleased with the amount of care and attention Maria gave to teach us every little thing we needed to know. She was so kind and patient, and encouraging, whilst telling us our faults. She doesn’t falsely encourage you and send you out to make mistakes. Today, I am an artist fairly well known for doing nails in the GTA, and I am so happy Maria taught me as she’s a huge reason why I provide such great quality. I trained with Glow College back in 2018, and to this day, I am able to message her and get support with unique cases and clients. She’s always so sweet and helpful. Even when she doesn’t have to respond because it’s off hours, she responds. She’s the best!! She was also so honest about how to run the business afterwards. Thank you Maria and Glow College for the wonderful experience that has allowed me to become successful today at what I do.

I have completed all me makeup classes, Airbrush makeup, Hairstyle classes and Eyebrow shaping.Trust me, its good experience with glow academy was superb learning there.Teachers are very helpful they always encourage you to do better and always there to give extra time after class,You get to attend several events which is an awesome experience to build up your business. i will recommend everyone go to glow academy and be professional makeup artist. Glow Academy is the best. I love it and i love the staff. I want to be in touch with glow academy forever and planing to do more courses. <3

This is one of the far most unprofessional place I have ever attended. The teacher shows up to class 15 minutes late while asking students to arive 15 minutes prior to class. It is impossible to contact the head of the company, you can only speak to the front desk girls who arent helful at all. It is waste of money and its not worth the amount I have spent. Therefore, I don't recommed this school to anybody.

I did the introduction for facial at glow academy with Maria and it was such a amazing experience. I learned a lot and more than I expected. Maria is honestly such a beautiful person, she knows a lot about aesthetics and she shares everything with us and she will take all the time needed to explain you correctly any of your questions. I went for a consultation and it looked alright but sort of tacky. The lady I met was nice but I hated how I she kept forcing me to buy the things I didnt need and to take the courses I couldnt afford. I only wanted to do one course for the time being because I am pregnant and will be due soon. I explained to her my situation but she kept telling me to do all the courses that I didnt need! It got really annoying! The main reason I lost my interest in going was the ridiculous cost of $2500 for just the beginners make up course! I get that you get a make up forever kit included but i know plenty of make up schools that dont force you to buy the make up kit and also charge less money. A rip off tbh! And after paying over $2000 you get a printed certificate! Thats not worth it at all. I can literally sit at home and make myself a certificate online. The point of receiving proper certification is to show its legitimacy...
