Maranatha Christian Academy is a vibrant and diverse Christian community with a great track record for making disciples and delivering high level education. As a Teacher/Guidance Counsellor I love coming to work each day and am proud to be on a staff where EVERYONE shares the conviction that being there is exactly where God has called them to be. The students share bonds that last a lifetime and everyone finds their place here. I am particularly moved by the way that Maranatha rallies around people in and out of the community who are struggling. Fortunate to attend Maranatha high school right when they first started accepting international students in 2018. Inclusive school atmosphere, biblical values taught in every course, and the teachers’ tremendous enthusiasm demonstrably mark the gifts and blessings God has brought upon this community. Despite my linguistic difficulties in speaking a second language at the beginning of my experience in Canada, MCA has embraced me with love and patience. It is a place with not only full of fun and laughters but also the very Spirit of Christ. A place I would call “home.”
