Is it true that UCW requires it's MBA admits to undergo another writing task when they arrive on campus, even if they have a valid IELTS Academic score? To put it in context, I have an overall band of 8.0 with 7.5 on writing and the score is well within its validity period, as I took it fairly recently. If that writing test requirement is true, could you point me to the section on UCW's website that states it? Also, does it state the nature of this "writing test" and what does it take to clear it, so that students know what they need to do, to ace it in the first attempt? I ask because if a student doesn't clear "that" writing test, they are then required to take a mandatory English course for a few 100 dollars??

The best place to grow up . When I started my first term amidst the COVID-19 pandemic last year, I was doubtful since everything had been online. But UCW had a practical plan for students’ development in every aspect with a highly effective communication system. Despite academics, there are free online resources, career development programs, weekly events, webinars, and leadership acceleration programs available to create students best fit to the globe. I am so happy about my decision today. UCW gave me lots of opportunities to improve myself. I should say, I am confident to stand and challenge the new world on my feet.

Hello All, I would like to share my frustration regarding the admission department as I'm waiting for the LOA since past third week now and I need to apply my visa based on that. The only reply which I get is they will update but when after I die?? Such a slow process of a so called reputed university. I have also sent an email to communication website as well today and I am hoping for a reply from them. I hope they understand the seriousness of the situation of applying the visa.

They don’t pick up the phone. One of my friend’s visa got denied and she asked for deferment LOA . And they haven’t got back to her from a month. She has emailed UCW multiple times and no one is responding. Please be careful . This university is a big scam

This university is a nightmare. Everyone is so disorganized and no one knows what's really going on. The most recent frustrating incident that I came across was: I enrolled myself in 4 courses and wanted to change two of them in order to have two online classes instead of in person. The email that I received as a response was: "We cannot make any changes to the slot you are registered into due to the fullness in the sections"- Firdaus Begum. To which I replied: "What do you mean? There is no wait list that I can see? How many people are enrolled in these sections? " just so I could get the facts. I was aware that the university just says that the sections are full when they're actually not, I fail to understand why. After this I received an email from the registrar's office stating: "I have processed your request." - Liam. I was happy that my sections were changed. However, why did they say that they cannot to begin with? This is a perfect scenario of simply confusing students for whatever reasons. The management is very unorganized and has no clue of what's going on. They change rules all of a sudden without any notification. The university is severely understaffed for the amount of students that they have enrolled. Forget getting a response before a week. If you want to get support for classes, it's a nightmare too. You have to wait for more than 2-3 hours sometimes just to talk to an advisor and if time is up, they kick you out without addressing your concern. All that tuition fee for this ??? Save your money and don't apply here.

I have had a wonderful experience so far. Despite the virtual classes, I have been enjoying the myucw portal which makes studying and organization of classes so seamless. I believe when I start the in-person lectures in the university it will be twice the fun and I cannot wait to have the full experience at the campus.
