This program is allowing me to achieve my dreams of becoming a nurse!

I am currently a student at Jersey College School of Nursing. I’m at the end of term 4 and whoa has it been a journey. Nursing school is not easy and to add to it I’m in an accelerated program. The teachers at Jersey College are wonderful, but there are two that stand out amongst them all. Patricia Decoursey and Susan Loesch are two amazing, knowledgeable, and helpful instructors, when I say they know their stuff, they know their stuff. They help you ,take their time and break things down for you, and they want to see you pass. So far for me, I can say my journey at Jersey College has been good and I am happy I chose to attend their bridge program. Thank you to all my instructors, Mrs. O, Mrs. Z, Mr. Matese, Leslie, Brandon, and my classmates!!!!!!!!!!

My Alma Mater! Since day 1 the faculty was always around to lend an ear, give support & offer guidance. That encouragement propelled me to the finish line as a RN. Among other great opportunities I was able to embark on the college's first ever Nursing mission trip to Puerto Rico. The relationships I've built @JC are based on the education & dedication to the future of Nursing & will forever be cherished. Mostly why I work here now!!#Saturdaylabcoordinator.

I started working at Jersey College in 2011 and I love what I do. I love being able to help people achieve their dreams of becoming a nurse. I have met with potential students who had been putting off their dreams of entering the profession for years for fear or putting other's needs ahead of their own. It is so gratifying for me as an employee to see them when they pass a hard test they were worried about or walking across the stage at graduation with so much pride. I tell everyone considering attending Jersey College for their nursing education the same thing: if they are serious about becoming a nurse, what they need is here. They can get a good education with this institution. I believe in that and that's why I love coming to work everyday.

I attended the Ewing campus for LPN to RN and had an excellent experience. It took a lot of hard work and quite a bit of studying but you do get back the effort you put forth. From the beginning they recommended not to work full-time so I did only work part time because you truly need that time to study, it is an accelerated program. I was able to pass my exit on the first test and took my NCLEX passing the first time with 75 questions. I did feel the school prepared me well for the NCLEX.

I am a graduate LPN student from Jersey College, who has been a nurse now for about 9 years. I initially reached out to the staff to re -enroll in the LPN-RN bridge program to complete what I started many moons ago. Well, I was offered a position as Lab Coordinator. I interviewed for the position and was offered the job in which I graciously accepted. The staff here has always been welcoming , even as a student you could always talk and get help if needed. I am proud to say that now I have job stability I will be able to return to school and provide for my children without any extra stress. If any of you all former students are looking for work and or to return to school please do not hesitate to reach out to staff. Also if you are wanting to enroll as a new student please reach out also. It will not be easy but it will definitely be worth it in the long run. I don't like the school I'm a very nice person and I always do my best to study even duh English not my best language . I was struggling no one was ready to help me not even once I stay for toutering all the teacher was doing was checking my flash card nothing more. A feel like they just need our money I won't recommend this school to anyone else. The teach was nice but not helpfullimited to me I regret the day I start my nurse in that school. I wanted to be a nurse to help other people and also my country Haiti build something more but the school discourage me from all that till now my heart broken and still crying cuz I didn't get enough help I was in school inow time I was never late I was so confident to it but a was the the hardest thing I can't get over ????????I wish the u was more help last day of my exam I didn't get nothing sleep ignored my kids just because I wanted something good for them cuz I know I was doing something bigger for them I'm so desipionted tbh plus my last exam didn't upload when I went to one of the nurse I was miss is there anything I can do ???? her answer was no go home I'm still till now but good luck to anyone else

I have had the pleasure of attending Jersey College both for the pursuit of my LPN and RN. Like any nursing program, this is a very tough process that takes both commitment and dedication. Yet Jersey College provides you with the tools and faculty support that you need to help you obtain your dreams of becoming a nurse. If you reach out to a staff member they are always there to answer questions or give moral support during your time at school. If you need to discuss financial aid, career advice, questions about the home work assignment there is always someone to lend an ear. I could have chosen another nursing school to attend, but I was very fortunate that I ended up at Jersey College. Without the program, I would not currently be working as an LPN and be 5 months away from obtaining my RN!

Best decision I ever made is attending Jersey College. They have the best program and supportive tutors ever!

On Friday, our PN class had a cultural day where we all brought in cultural foods from our native countries. It was a very moving experience, as I came to appreciate my classmates even more. Not only did it take most of them hours to prepare, but it was obvious to see that they all prepared the meals with so much love. That definitely made our class grow even closer.

Horrible service school. Only interested in money but not the well-being of the students! Very crooked and corrupt school

I asked for a refund of the 25$ for the testing haven’t heard anything back from Paige nor the person that suppose to handle this how great is the school when it’s lack of communication

Kadel Fradet

I did my LPN at Jersey College, now I'm doing the bridge "LPN to RN". It's very intense and challenging, but you got the knowledge necessary when you're done to pass your NCLEX and ready for the floor.

I personally will look for another school to enroll into because I want to enroll into a school where everyone is professional and respectful. I talked to Joesph that helps with administration and he was very rude and had a attitude for no reason.

As clinical coordinator at the Ewing campus it has been great interacting with our community Boys and Girls club to bring about awareness of the need for more nurses. Recently we were able to bring a hands on experience to a group of high school teens that are interested in nursing after graduation. We support future students in making a decision to come to JCSN and are always available for our students once they are enrolled. #teamJSCN

This experience has been a roller coaster ride, but with the Guidance and help of each and every instructor and staff members you push forward and you win. this school is amazing!!!!!!!!!! LPN-RN

Let me start off by saying I am not a disgruntled student I passed all of my classes on the first try and currently have my RN license. This school has to work really hard on their communication. I don’t like that they don’t let you review your grade and challenging your grade is futile. They are very disorganized and at times unfair. They play about everything from your grades to your paperwork, but don’t play about their money. There are however, some teachers there who you can tell only wants your success. I know all schools have their problem you won’t find a perfect one and although I did come out successfully, if I could do it over again I would go a different route. If I’m going to be that stressed out, I’d rather not play so much money in the process.

From my first day, to the last day, up to nclex RN, NO PROBLEM.. I have God and the folks at this school to thank for making my dream of becoming an RN come through. Just stay focused!!!!

Story time… I started JC in the fall of 2019. Recently divorced mother of 3. I relied on family for childcare during my evening classes and tightened my boots. I was working it out, started a new relationship and was happy. 6 weeks later i found out i was pregnant with my 4th child….boomer. I suffered from antepartum depression. My education was in jeopardy. I leaned hard on family, friends and even a few admins. Everyone encouraged me to push through and stay the course. I did. Term 3 of my PN course I took off and gave birth to my son, and returned, repeated term 3 and moved on. Went through the PN program as a one and done. The day I received my PN progression score I immediately signed up for the RN program. Let’s say Murphy’s Law is true. Again term 3 of my RN program my grandmother passed. This was the woman who raised me. My children and I had the opportunity of spending her last 4 weeks with her living in my home. Again, emotional distressed I didnt think I would follow through the course. One of my admins reached out to me and appealed to the nursing board to allow me time to grieve. I returned, repeated term 3 and pushed on. Like the PN program I wanted to be one and done. Today is 8/27/21, sitting in a park near the river I got the call that I passed my RN progression, I literally bursted into tears. All i could think of was the sacrifices that were made to get here, the life challenges, and the great support system JC admins had become for me. From the bottom of my heart I thank…Mrs. O, Mrs. Z, Mrs. Sue, and Mrs. Matthews. These ladies formed and amazing support team. Without their guidance I cant say that I would’ve made it. I enjoyed my time at JC. It takes much work, long study hours, and a great support system, but it is well worth it. Don’t give in, don’t give up, push through, success is yours.

I looked around at many schools and Jersey Colkege seemed the best fit for me at the time. I have been an LPN for many years and going back to school at 50 while working full time was scary. I signed up and from my first time entering the building I was treated like a star and until the day I graduated I was treated fairly and the staff was always there for me and my classmates. I was an LPN for about 25 years and a wound specialist since 2003 and it was time for me to move up in my nursing career. I wasn’t given many opportunities for advancement in upper management being an LPN so I took the plunge. I graduated in May of 2019 and passed my exit first try and then passed my boards first try. You will be challenged and you should, it’s not for the weak but if you are determined you will succeed and jersey college prepared me for the boards as they promised. The exit exam is harder then the boards so no that. I had tons of help along the way from my instructors and my classmates and I got my RN and it was an awesome feeling. Soon after passing the boards I got a promotion at work and increased my salary over 23,000$ and since moved on and now I am the ADON at a facility and making 6 figures. Jersey college changed my life and if your ready it will change yours too. I want to say thank you to the staff at Jersey College especially Miss O and all the instructors who never turned their back on me and encouraged me to keep moving forward. Jersey College is awesome!

Terrible school. Very reliable when applying and working towards enrollment, but once classes starts the communication stops. No organization whatsoever but very on top of their money. I completed 3 weeks worth of school before leaving and I am being charged almost $1000 which is ridiculous for withdrawing before 10% of my courses were done. Only one professor cared for your success, the dean was rude, assistant dean was rude, and first year professor (theory) spent 4 hours a day on nothing but the syllabus and her own experiences and wonders why our class was failing consistently. Just don’t do it. Not worth the headache and stress.

My feedback in regard to how exam chat worked for me. It was a great forum that allowed me to present my questions to the instructor that was online discussing the topic that was upcoming for my next exam. They answered any question that I had and also provided resources that allowed me to further look into the topic. I would recommend this forum to students who feel they have a bunch of questions but don't seem to get them answered. It is directed towards what area you need help in and the instructors are willing to provide resources other than their knowledge as a reference point. I hope this program help others achieve their goals in this nursing program. The teachers always say use all resources that are available to you!

As the librarian at Jersey College, I can attest that the success of our students is real and cherished by all who come in contact with the school. The library offers many resources including the newest up-to-date materials regarding the nursing profession, plenty of space to do any kind of studying, and research tools to help supplement your studies. We also offer mentoring and tutoring to anyone who needs it. Thus, it is not an accident that we have seen so many students go on and further their careers with the help of Jersey College.

In 2015, I graduated from Jersey College with an associate’s degree in nursing. At the time I was unsure as to where I wanted to take my career. However, with all the valuable lessons and experiences that I had as a nursing student, I knew that the opportunity for growth in the profession was vast. After completing my degree at Jersey College I went on to pursue my baaccolourette degree in nursing, and then my advanced practice nursing degree. In six years I have accomplished more than I ever expected, through hard work, dedication and perseverance. I am now an independent health care provider with a budding practice of my own, working with the most vulnerable of populations. I am completed my Doctorate in nursing practice and will possibly go on to obtain a PhD. Within the last year, I have embarked on a new chapter of my career becoming an instructor at my alma mater, my experience as a student, allows me to approach students from a point of reference, while being a role model to demonstrate to them that the sky is the limit. I support the students, while encouraging and pushing them to be the best and strive for more; I believe that my story and all the success that I have had professionally has been significantly impacted by the foundation that I attained from being a student at Jersey College.

As students we don't always have the best feelings about our school, but I can say that Jersey College has truly help shape me into the great nurse I am today and I am forever grateful.

I am product of Jersey College. I graduated from this school in 2012 and now just completed my RN program. I couldn’t have picked any other school but Jersey College because it made who I am today. Great, passionate, and experienced instructors both clinical and didactic made it possible for me to move forward throughout the program.I make a positive difference everywhere I work and it’s all because of the training I received from Jersey College. I am proud of myself to make that decision to attain my RN from Jersey college . Thank You for been dedicated in all you do for the students and make it possible to move on with our dreams.

I went to Jersey College RN accelerated program. I graduated in 2016 with my associates. It was tough! But the support is absolutely amazing. From the associate dean who had a piece a candy on a day after a tough exam. To the dean who was never too busy to ask you how your day was. And other staff members who takes the time to help tutor you if you ask. It's a tough program, but if you take the time and put effort, you will prevail.

This review is for anyone who ever felt like giving up. I passed my progression on the fourth attempt August 26, 2021. My dedication, commitment, and the fact that Jersey College staff never left my side is the reason why I was successful on the progression. Current and future students NEVER GIVE UP! I am a prime example of perseverance. Remember to remain persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. Know your content, learn test taking strategies, don't change your answers, and do practices questions daily. You can and will succeed.

Star Pediatrics has worked with Jersey College, Ewing Campus for many years. We have found that the nurses we hire from Jersey College are well prepared to step into the nursing profession with knowledge and confidence, even newly graduated nurses are excellent. The Sim Lab, theory and Clinical Experience they get at Jersey College prepares their students to excel in the nursing profession. We try to recruit as many nurses from Jersey College as we can because we have the confidence in their nursing program. The administrative team and clinical instructors are a pleasure to work with and provide tremendous, individualized support to their students. This makes all the difference in their ability to face the many challenges that there are in preparing to become a nurse. This support continues through their time in the nursing program and beyond. Jersey College Ewing Campus is a blessing and a Godsent. The reason why I say this is because I've learned so much since the first term in the bridge program and it has made into a better nurse and is preparing to be an exceptional RN and I look forward to becoming a part of the legacy of great nurses that hails from Jersey College . The faculty is very helpful and resourceful.

I completed the LPN in 2011 and decided to come in 2016 for the RN program. The program is very challenging, but you have the instructors to assist in areas that you need help with.

My experience at Jersey College has been an outstanding journey. I'm not sure I would have come this far without all of the support I received from the faculty. You never know what life changing experience you may have on a new journey for success but there is nothing more rewarding then people who want to see you win. I would recommend this school to anyone who would truly like to succeed in the medical field.

As a new graduate from Jersey College of Nursing, I am extremely happy with my decision in choosing Jersey college for my LPN to RN bridge course. This is a fast track to get your RN dreams possible, the course itself is challenging, but the way the curriculum and training provided by the faculty and intuition will definitely make the RN dreams possible for anyone who is willing to accept the challenges!! I will definitely recommend Jersey College to anyone who want to be successful in pursuing their career in Nursing!!

I am a graduate of the LPN to RN program. My class started during Corona Virus pandemic, we started off on line. We received our little laptops and instructions on how to go on zoom. I was very nervous since I am older than most students, I've been an LPN for over 18yrs and starting online was very scary. I also had to work full-time to support my 6 daughters. But it all worked out I just believed that this was meant to be. The nervousness of doing class on zoom was meant by instructors who helped us through it all. The support was always there whenever we felt loss. Some instructors also adapting to the new way of learning understood our frustrations and were understanding of what we were going through. There were definitely times I felt like giving up. especially when I failed a class in fourth term and had to redo the class. But it all worked out for the best for me with my job. I say to all current students hang in there, there is light at the end of the tunnel. I passed the progression test the 1st attempt, thanks to staff for pushing us to study and take test after test. it may feel like it's not helping but it does.

Jersey College gives you all the resources you need in order to do well and to test out of the program. it can be overwhelming at times but once you find your routine and find what works for you, stick with it and critique along the way. if your not strong reader, there are recorded lectures for you to listen to throughout the day and if you listen to it multiple times, the information will stick. you have powerpoints, practice questions. Make sure if your doing the practice the questions, you read the rational whether you got it right or wrong, and you will make it through.

I walked out of this program a completely different person. I felt confident in my knowledge and skills as a Professional Nurse. The instructors at Jersey College push you to be your best self: without their support and guidance I don't think that I would have been successful in my journey. If you trust the process and do the work, you will succeed. I was given every opportunity to learn and grow throughout this program. Trust the madness, it works!

I would sincerely like to thank Jersey College of Nursing for a great nursing education. From Mr. Matese the school director making sure the school, staff and students were all good with education materials, safety and well nourished . Mrs. Zeilinski assistant DON is amazing at what she does with the entire school, she's very organized, attention to detail , has multiple study guidelines and study tools for students to utilize for help with any assignments, exams or exit progression. As a graduate from jersey college, I would highly recommend this school because unlike most nursing school it give every student a chance to fulfill their dreams of becoming a nurse if you play your part. I started the LPN to RN bridge during the most difficult time in our country , during the pandemic , everyone was stressed and confused but the school and staff made the process work and with patient and perseverance, I am proud to say I passed my progressions on the first try and its all thanks to the support, study materials and practice question that where all provided by the school. great school and wonderful and very resourceful and knowledgeable professor that are always there to answer and provide you with the support you need. They are there for you in every step of the process and extremely happy and grateful for the opportunity and support from all the staffs in jersey college for helping me to achieve my dream of becoming a nurse. Thanks you Jersey college, my clinical instructors, Mrs Mathews, MS Leslie, Mrs O, and my classmates.

I was scared to death to go back to school at my age but the admissions rep at Jersey College got me an incredible tutor who helped me with my mathematical skills to pass the entrance exam. You will be challenged in every way.Dont get involved with drama, study hard it's what you put into it .Instructors can only guide you so much the rest is up to you.It took me three times to pass the exit ,passed the nclex on the first time so exit is harder than the boards.I am now a LPN and so proud of what I have accomplished I will go back for my RN eventually.I want to thank all my classmates ,instructors for thier guidance and faith in me and support.I would definitely recommend Jersey College !

Jersey College of Nursing has been one of the best experiences of my life. I'm a graduate of the LPN program and have went on to excel in the RN program. The supportive administration as well as the academic and clinical curriculum has given me one of the best foundations as a nurse I could have ever gotten.

Nakia Russikoff

I entered Jersey College in 2010 when it was Center for Allied Health and Nursing into their LPN program. I was their second class and interviewed with three other Nursing Schools before deciding to go with Jersey College. What brought me to my decision was the bar that was set high in their passing standards. All other schools were a 75% to pass while Jersey College required 80% to pass. I chose a school who had high expectations of their graduates but I had to set high expectations of myself. Needless to say I passed 1st try exit and 1st try NCLEX. I re-enrolled in their RN Program 1st class and graduated again 1st try exit and 1st try NCLEX. Jersey College provided the tools and guidance I supplied the drive. You get in what you get out and now I am a now a Registered Nurse Personal Care Home Administrator. #RNClassOf2015

I started my nursing education in May 2020 in the LPN evening program. School had just transitioned to online at that time. The staff did an amazing job at getting us set up, keeping classes going, and teaching practical skills remotely. When we moved back on campus, we dove head first into our clinical and lab skills. They made sure we weren't left behind just because we were in a pandemic. The curriculum is tough. The professors expect a lot out of you, but they helped me learn how to schedule and balance my school needs with the rest of my life. There was no shortage of tools that they gave us to study and succeed. I just finished the LPN program this month (Nov 2021) and after a short break, I look forward to going back to do the RN Bridge program in February.

I am extremely happy that I chose jersey college for my dream of becoming a RN. I chose LPN to RN bridge program. After 2 long years, hard work, going through pandemic, not spending enough time with family and managing time between study and work, it finally paid off. I passed my progression and graduated from jersey college of nursing. The course is very challenging but you can do this. All the faculty members and admin were very helpful during the program. I will definitely recommend jersey college to pursue your career in nursing!!

Horrible school they don’t care about the students. You finished the school and get 915 on exit exam and they tell you that you can’t take nclex. They are horrible people all of the schools. You basically go to school for nothing they just want their money.

If I could rate this school no stars I would. So I’m going to dedicate this one star to the only two good teachers I had while studying at this school for 4 complete terms. If I could take those teachers with me away from this school I would run so fast and never look back. The Dean is a very nasty, passive aggressive person. She’s not personable at all, she’s on a power trip. She says ridiculously disrespectful things and I am reporting her to the board of nursing for harassment. I don’t usually write reviews but something needs to be said about this school (really feels like a dictatorship). I regret ever coming to jersey college just because of Mrs. Osnayo. Do yourself a favor and save your money, this is the type of school that will make you want to consider a career in a whole different field.
