(Translated) George Brown, one of the largest colleges in downtown Toronto, offers numerous professional programs, undergraduate education and postgraduate diploma programs in almost every field. While some of the PG diploma programs do not contain an 8-month internship, some of them are 12-month programs with an internship in their final term. It is a perfect choice for students who want to be in the middle of city life, especially in terms of location. (Original) Toronto sehir merkezindeki en buyuk kolejlerden birisi olan George Brown cok sayida mesleki program, lisans egitimi ve hemen her alanda postgraduate diploma programlari sunmaktadir. PG diploma programlarinin bir kismi 8 aylik staj icermeyen programlarken bir kismi son donemlerinde staj iceren 12 aylik programlardir. Ozellikle sehir hayatinin ortasinda olmak isteyen ogrenciler icin konumu itibariyle mukemmel bir secim olur.

I've been to several post secondary places to study, and hands down George College has been the best experience for me. It's high quality education, intense, fast, and the instructors are super helpful. It's been the best educational time for me. I highly recommend this college.

This is a great place to study and mold your culinary skills. Also if you go at lunch you can purchase big trays of delicious foods at very reasonable prices.

I came to GBC as an International Student and I have not had any regrets so far. The professors are truly exceptional with a keen interest in student well being and success, I only wish I could call names. Hands down, its a great place for newcomers.

Great college to learn hospitality industry. Teachers and course contents are great and education level is high. You will get a great job after your graduation. However, GBC itself doesn't have a good management system to take care students. The insurance system when you call to the certain phone number is horrible. Also, staff at the office level and reception are not friendly. However, their students are mostly great and their volunteer people were very nice and tried to help each visitors. If you learn hospitality programs in this college, this is the best option in Ontario. Therefore, I hope the management system can improve.

I decided to help my friend with registration since they made a mistake. When I tried to reach staff members, no one answered the phone. Nor did I receive an adequate email reply. They have a contact centre set up to take student inquiries, but the agent did not have enough knowledge or authority to provide assistance with the issue. I've heard from former students that the women working at the business office allegedly show attitude towards students. What is the purpose of working in administration if you do not wish to help students but rather pass them off to another person or department? I previously took a few classes here myself and I only had one decent teacher. Even the rest of the class used to complain about the teaching quality.

I've had the best Chefs, such passionate people who continue to expand my world one dish at a time.

I attended a Baking and Pastry Arts program here. I had a few good teachers, and several teachers whose teaching was utterly disgusting. I was discriminated against, some chefs refused to answer questions about course content, confidentiality was not respected to the point that I was advised to sue George Brown, and through all of it, the associate dean and dean of the program - Lorraine Trotter in particular - did nothing except viciously accuse me of bizarre things to cloud the issue. I strongly recommend against any classes from Julie Phillip, who is a subpar chef, an incompetent and unhelpful teacher, and a nasty person. Timothy Simpson, Allison Fryer, and Amede Lamarche, along with a few others, were exceptions, as they were superb instructors whom I highly recommend. TL;DR - Don't ever go to George Brown for anything related to culinary skills or baking. The school will treat you like garbage, then might slander you, breach agreements, fail to teach you basic skills, and fight viciously to deny you your rights.
