Beautiful, clean and organized campus. I am an international student from Brazil and I’ve received all the help I need from the international team.

I am doing my Publishing program from this college, I had my reservations before entering the program after having read the reviews online, but I have to say, it has been a rewarding experience. The program is excellent, you get to meet people from the industry and build contacts. Also, the instructors and program staff have been very helpful. The college's administrative board makes sure international students get to experience not just college education, but also the culture of Canada as a whole.

I did food science technology from this campus. There are only 4-5 guys who are teaching multiple courses. They should at least complete their Post doc from a recognized university to be able to answer the questions. How can one guy teach two-three completely different subjects!! Secondly, ultra expensive courses as if they are teaching rocket science. At the end of a semester they give so many assignments just make you feel like you are hard working and keeping you busy, so that you don't ask value for money. Main instructor of the food science technology made a racist comment for being vegetarian. I'm not getting paid to criticize this college but I don't want any other poor student to suffer what I already did. No offence to the business they are doing.

It’s a pleasure being a part of the Centennial College community. As a student, I must say I’m very satisfied with my experience studying in this outstanding and world-class college. It was better than I expected! I like how the college population is very diverse since you get to meet people from different communities and parts of the world. Overall, everyone is really nice. Most of my professors are hardworking, excellent at lecturing, and student-centered. They care about their students and are usually open to provide help. Also, the President of Centennial is very inspiring and would always encourage students to do their best. The facilities are kept clean and the canteen has nice fast-food options. Campus life is already great, but the college continues to make many improvements. I would suggest for them to also consider doing so for the entire P Block as that part of campus currently needs some revamping. Students can customize their timetable, however, sometimes you don’t get to choose a class time that’s convenient for you. Certain classes only take place at nighttime or during the weekends, which I think is very unfair. There are fewer TTC buses on weekends, so those who rely on the TTC would have a longer commute time. Also, most food services are closed on Saturdays, while all of them are closed on Sundays, except vending machines and The Local Café. During long weekends, there are still weekend classes usually. Aside from these timetable issues, their other services are great! My advice for current and future students is to be aware of resources available on campus as they may be of help to you. There will always be someone who’ll listen to you and provide support. Keep in mind, semesters go by fast, so make sure you set good impressions and make the right connections during your time studying.

all business school professors are mostly rude, they just come and do their presentations and not the actual teaching, they're biased and judgy all the time. they don't even review your request for rechecking because they have already completed checking the papers and just reply you with rude email saying we can't check now it is what it is. international student's future gets ruined by this approach of theirs. do not recommend this college for business studies.

I have done B.Tech (Nanotechnology )(8.13 CGPA) and I want to get admission in project management program here . Am I eligible for this program? I got overall 7.5 bands in IELTS. I have applied for this program about a month ago but my agent is saying again and again that program is in waiting list. Moreover, I also applied for biotechnology program but my agent said that I am not eligible for that ????.

One of the top campus for the international student in Canada with all the facilities like free WiFi and camputer with internet. The one thing in the campus is the parking is not available for free. We have to pay for it.

The nursing school here is the worst that I had to transfer to other schools. It baffles me how profs here don't care about their students, especially that certain Anatomy "professor" who I won't name here. We even reported her all the way to the dean and the program chair but to no avail. However, she's the reason why I had to transfer. Thanks to her I am at a much better school now even though I lost the money I paid to this "nursing" school. Any school is better than Centennial. You will just be wasting your money if you go here. If I could give zero stars I would.

I attended Centennial College- Progress Campus starting in September 2012, though I withdrew from the program in April 2013 and did not re-enroll again. I was enrolled in the Child and Youth Worker Program. Notable mentions: 1. Second Cup. I loved going here and getting the oh so popular frozen hot chocolate. The staff were always super nice. 2. Washroom Facilities: No one likes dirty bathrooms. They were usually really clean. 3. Gym: The gym, as I remember it was really nice. Lots of awesome work out equipment, and they had an indoor track. I am not sure if they still do, but in 2012 they did. I loved it. I would play basketball and watch games here and there. I liked it a lot. 4. Teachers: The teachers in the CYW program were actually pretty nice. I honestly don't remember any of their names, but I remember they were quite attentive. 5. Counsellors/Student Services: Super helpful. I was going through some things at the time, and I would see a counsellor there. Very helpful. Sometimes school can be stressful. You can bank on it that if you need someone to talk to, they're there whenever you need them. 6. Financial Aid: I remember it was always hectic over there. Some of the staff were extremely rude and impatient. 7. Overall: This campus has big social ambience to it. They hosted the occasional party, had tons of events, etc. They have the 134 Progress bus that goes to the campus, and then back to STC. Really helpful. I don't like the area the college is located, though. It just seems so out of place. It's a small campus, in my opinion and it's good for those who are looking for that. Though I was only in this school for a year, I really enjoyed my time there, I will say that I had a LOT of fun and met a lot of awesome people, from all walks of life.

Tidy, nice staff, security is very good here, and most people are friendly and nice in general, a bit busy but it is a college after all. I love that buses run so often here, at my old college if I missed the bus I had to wait 30 mins to an hour. Here it's not nearly as long, I think 15 mins? Shout out to the janitors who work hard to keep our campus clean, thank you <3

Horrible school. DO NOT GO HERE! Stressful environment with way too many students. Your schedule will be all over the place which will suck if you live far or do not drive. I have transferred over to another school in order to continue my education. It is also predominantly filled with international students who they take advantage of. You won't see very many domestic students at all because they know the school is horrible. Sheridan, George Brown and Humber are better alternatives. Also would like to add the school made me pay an additional 150 in late fees for my tuition even though I went through OSAP and they messed up in paperwork due to a disability I have. I had to wait at the school for 7 hours to get a form that took a minute to retrieve. They do this on purpose. Such a joke! This is why they prolong you getting into the school. They really want that 150 dollars which I now see they have done to many other students as well. Bruce you know Centennial college is a horrible money grabbing school. Everyone who works there (unless they are making over 100 grand like you) are miserable and do not care. You also are getting paid to say nice things about the school. If you are interested in going to this school, visit it on a regular day and try listening in on classes/ visiting a random office. A good recommendation for any school you want to attend. If you are an international student do not go here. Everyone becomes depressed and going to and from the school is quite difficult with the buses always late/never coming (102 is an example). The school does not help you in transitioning into a new place. They also make you take English classes which are A LOT more difficult then what domestic students take and are meant for you to fail. Invest your money into another school and NOT Centennial. Especially if you are looking to learn and find a job at the end.

Hello. I sent my documents to the school email, which included my transcripts, certificate etc. I would like to know how long it takes to get an offer letter. It’s been 2 weeks now. Is it meant to be this long?

For me it's one of the college, progress avenue is is soo good from inside and it's so clean and disciplined. Atmosphere is so calm and peaceful that I mostly prefer to do my assignments in college Library. Gym is also good. Everyone talks so politely and staff members are very helpful. It's good here as I'm still a student here I would definitely recommend this college if anyone gonna ask...

Hi, I would like to know if Italian recognized Bachelor degree taught in English are valit for the admission at the HRM Graduate course. It’s not written specifically what to do in the website. Do I also need an english certification even if I held all courses and exams in english? I would also know specifically, for who graduated from an International university out of Canada, which documents we need to send you. Thank you in advance

So far my experience was decent, but going into my second semester my schedule got messed up. I don't know what happened but the school totally screwed up my timetable. Originally I thought it was just me but apparently everyone else had the same problem as well. I only managed to get four courses but I still had lost some money because of that. Also, some of the teachers are horrible. Some of them don't teach you properly and if you ask them a question they're answers aren't really clear. Centennial, just like any other institutions, are probably just after your money.

Hello team, I'm perplexed with the information of courses here in India & want to go for January 2022 Intake, please guide me for Business Management course. If yes, is it a 2 yr course. If not, what would be the course close to it? Would be great if you help me out :)

Its a decent college but definitely can be better if staff was more productive and helpful. I graduated from here and was suppose to go back for my transcript but I had to wait for a good hour before any staff paid attention to me. I'm sure we all have better things to do than wait around for people to give them what they need for more than a reasonable time. Staff support really needs to be worked on.

Went there to get vaccinated for Covid-19. So I can't really speak about the college itself. But the vaccine clinic was well organized.

they do not issue the graduation letter on time, and put students into a limbo where they can't work! no consideration whatsoever with students. classes ended and grades where out on December 12, a month later and still no certification letter. more than a month!! Students depend on these letters... they told us we would receive it on the 11th now it going to be issued in the end of the week. LACK of respect and consideration.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS COLLEGE! Also, those of you looking to change career paths and are/were thinking of applying to Centennial (like myself), PLEASE DON'T! Consider other colleges; and this is coming from someone that completed both a high school and a university undergrad in Toronto. Thinking Centennial would be a good place to attend for further education and training, I was completely wrong. By saying "what isn't wrong with this college" is the easiest way to sum up everything wrong with it. Their staff is extremely unprofessional and disorganized. Their professors could care less if you absorb the material or not, they just want their paycheck at the end of the day. Half the students are CLEARLY cheating during exams or pay other students to complete their assignments while the professors just look the other way acting 'innocent', as if they have no idea what's happening right in front of them. Also, believe it or not, a friend of mine who has a learning disorder applied to Centennial with admissions reassuring her that there would be resources available for assistance to her, but instead she was treated HORRIBLY by a staff member at the Centre for Students with Disabilities and the HUB. Oh and if you are a female thinking of attending this college then this is DEFINITELY NOT a place for you! You will have eyes staring you down from head to toe and men approaching you with inappropriate requests even if you are dressed for Antarctica; just walking from one class to another is extremely uncomfortable so don't put yourself through that stress. Do your research before applying to any college but do apply anywhere else.

I attend school at the Ashtonbee campus for automotive technician and I am really disappointed in my decision of going there. Yeah my professor are good they are helpful but you won’t learn the hands on part well enough. For example I’m in my first year right now and are practical classes feels like a second theory class. not to mention that we only get 1 practical for each course once a week which is definitely not enough time to learn stuff that we are being taught because you’ll just forget it the next week. I tried talking to my professors and the main office if I could get extra time to work in the shop and all they said was the shops are fully booked and there would be no way to get extra practical time. You would think with all the resources they give you at this college they would let you work in the shop often and you go in them as much you want, to learn. After all this career is 98% hands on and you think they would let you play around with a car as much as you want. I know that second year is where we get to go deeper into cars and fixing but from the way we have one practical a week I’m probably going to find a different college to go to or even just go to a private trades school were I can get more practical time. (My suggestion is don’t come here under the impression you are going learn and be ready to be a mechanic after you finish this program) Try to get a job as mechanic or close to one were you get a lot of on hands on time because trust me when you meet the people in class most of them will have job in that field or know a lot about cars.

The Good: Good gym facilities, fair tuition costs, new computers and some newly renovated spaces. The Bad: HORRIBLE parking facilities and parking pass methods. Run down hallways and lockers, Useless and unfriendly security and parking attendants. Unfriendly front line staff to help with general information and general campus uses. Food choices on campus are redundant at best. Food and convenience store prices are over inflated. School is good for going to class and learning and studying, however there is really no student life or culture so take it for what it is.

I have been to this school for practical nursing a few years ago, which I regretted my choice coming here after leaving Ryerson from another science program thinking that choosing nursing here would be easier (my mistake for that). I will mention my experiences on why the school services administration here wasn’t good and seems to still function that way as I read from previous reviews. Also, I think that the 2 year practical nursing diploma program is a cash-grabber, which I will set my own personal and honest reasons for that soon below. Firstly, I found the student services to be very unorganized - library printers and computers were at times faulty, and financial/advising services often had long wait times. Not to mention the teaching curriculum, more specifically in Nursing Theory, has its list of shortcomings. Most of the teachers’ curriculum were not useful enough to prepare students for Theory exams that caused a lot of students to either fail or drop out. Many of these students tried filing for appeals or complaints to no avail. Second of all, I learned that the Centennial College for Practical Nursing program seemed to like to easily take money from student’s pockets, as students coming into the program had not expect the standards to be much higher than it was stated on their admission requirements. Nursing is a serious and difficult position to be in, and I think the admission requirements and minimum grade scores should be set up in a higher standard than that so that applicants know what they are aiming for in the program. Instead, the program doesn’t and I firmly believe that the minimum grades should be higher. And the school somehow manages to accept these students despite the difficulty of some of these courses. Instead, the students are set up in an endless loop and gets stuck in the process, unknowingly learning later on that in reality, licensing exam is far more difficult and the theory courses provided little help in return to get ready for it. Therefore, I feel sympathy for the next students who may come here not expecting the high standards left in place later on in these nursing courses, whilst the school manages to grab money from these poor souls. So I warn you, if you are planning to take Practical Nursing, know that you need to rely on ‘critical thinking’ as all Theory teachers implore you to do, and because the curriculum doesn’t give you much but background knowledge about it. Don’t only read notes and textbooks, but practice, practice and practice! Nursing is based not only from skills and knowledge taught in school, but judgement aka critical thinking. Hopefully, after Rex-PN licensing exam comes out, the theory curriculum will change for good. So please come prepared!

Daniel Haddad Bertini

Good curriculum however you will need to do a lot of self teaching in order to properly understand. For every one good teacher you'll get four bad ones. Student services will either give you the bare minimum information (if you do not know exactly what you need) or just incorrect info.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!! For the amount you have to spend on tuition, you would expect that the staff at centennial were knowledgeable about their jobs. The staff here are incompetent, unorganized and do not care about their students. As a student with a GPA well above a 4.0, I've had nothing but problems since registering. I decided to take a few refreshment courses since leaving U of T and it feels more like a day care than a post secondary college. Every semester is a nightmare trying to enrol. You have to chase them to confirm your enrolment in order to receive funding from OSAP, and they do not know how to answer questions. I've contacted the school of business at several times over the span of a month and have not received the answer I needed to register. The advisors ignore your emails and the reception desk always looks like she hates her job. I had to remind her at least 20 times that I was unable to book an appointment online, yet she still insists that I try! I decided to take the day off to get my classes sorted, I got there at 10am and spent 5 hours running around, going back and forth trying to get my signatures. Each time I thought I was finalized, I was told an advisor did not fill out my documentation properly and would have to redo it. By 4pm, I was still chasing different departments until I was told to "come back the next business day". IT SHOULDNT TAKE OVER 6 HOURS TO BUILD A TIMETABLE!!!!! The classes are a joke, students and professors do not care about the curriculum, and the service departments are extremely useless and incompetent.

My journey at centennial college was almost online. Although, I spent first 3 months in college before this covid started, I bet those 3 months gave me more memories than the rest of my time attending classes from home. I was new in 2020, I didn’t knew anyone, a little frightened and nervous, was missing my family so bad that I always wanted yo flew back. Today, I feel very lucky to be here in Canada, I am proud of the step I took 2 years ago, thank god for all you have provided me. Centennial college taught me many things, I made some real friends from this college. Folks, don’t forget to enjoy yourself when you’re here. Have a great future ahead!

KING CHOHANZ

This college doesn’t let you transfer the credits. Doesn’t let you change the course. Doesn’t refund ANY money. Does not allow you to do anything. The worst college in entire Ontario. Compare yourself and ask all these questions before even thinking about joining this college.

This is really small as compared to Progress Campus but i like it more because of its convenient location and connectivity which is better than Progress Campus. It is connected to STC and Rouge Hill Station with 38 ,Kennedy station with 116,905 and York Mills Station with 95 and all of these routes has excellent service.Go and Pulse Transit also has a stop at the Intersection. It has a really nice feel to it whenever we go to campus .Tim Horton service is fast as well. The best thing is the scenic route of 116 after Guildwood Inn (Could be the opposite with large number of school kids shouting loudly at rush hours )which always made me feel good as the bus runs parallel to Lake Ontario and the neighbourhood of Morningside is splendid.Morningside is full of green areas like Parks ,Lakes and of course Toronto Zoo it only gets better as we go east to Pickering.(The review is only about the campus not the college or education)

If you are a sincere student and person, and want to have the school life after high school, never attend as a student to Centennial College, because this college does not have the environment for students to have student life, and I am informing to parents that do not send your kids to study at this college. I was a student of this college, but I had to quit my study at this college, because of the environment this college fosters which is detrimental for post-secondary education. Do not waste your money, specially time by sending your kids to this college or if you are a student, do not attend this college. This message is for both Canadian and International students. Thank you.

i would like to know why as parents we do not receive any feedbacks from the college. Parents pay the college and despite sending several mails, we do not have a reply. Has the college noticed that some teachers are not doing their best for the success for their students. I haven't been to this college.Actually , I was about to apply for admission in your college until I read all the reviews. Thanks all those who have shared their experiences. You guys have saved me from getting into trouble. And I hope centennial college will take all reviews into consideration and improve themselves and will serve better to students.

If you are looking for a school do not be going off all the good things you hear of it and "the position" it holds. This school WILL take your money, having everything been online last year students were still getting charged for the few students who had access to the building. Teachers refuse to give class averages because, guess what? They give away many of the limited spots they have within a program to tutors. A lot of the teachers are unorganized. You will have to pay for the entire semester again if you fail one class. The teachers read off slideshow powerpoints, which will end up wasting your time. The fact that the future of your academic career and potential career depends on what teacher you choose or not is ridiculous. They do not set up students for achievement and if you are struggling they will send you a link to mental health services that do not provide any actual help. Good Luck with your choices but I would not reccomend coming to this school at all.

This site only allows residents of Scarborough to get vaccinated. However if you are not a resident of Scarborough then you should have a fam doc in Scarborough. If you are resident of peel region or North York you cannot go here. Does not matter if you are a health care worker!

Nathan Isaacs

How many days a week will I have to attend classes for Project Management course F'21, say things gets back to normal. Also I'm planning to find accommodation near North York which is 22Km from Progress Campus. Is it OK/normal to commute this distance everyday by bus which takes 1.5hrs?

Se yeon Jung

Anuraag Seshadri

It is a clean and big campus. Difficult to commute if you live far away. The bus to reach to college is not very useful. When you miss the bus stop to get off the campus, going back to the correct bus stop to reach the campus is very hard. Admission test environment is professional and good. No one is chatting while people are doing the test.

Omar Rahman

Never go here for an I.T degree, administration is worse, professors not helpful, wouldn't assist me in registering for a course on their broken website then caused me inconvenience for a refund.

It’s shame to see the quality of what so called Canadian education. I had a terrible experience with this school. Unprofessional, unorganized, etc. As internationally educated professional with +10 years of experience and as a SME in my field, the questions of those exams are technically incorrect. 1- Many of the questions that I’ve encountered are incorrect questions that I’m not able to answer them. 2- A complete chaos and teachers don’t work together to organize the courses deliverables, myself and my peers spent the whole year doing the work for those teachers and keep organizing the schedule. 3- Many teachers didn’t show up for classes, one of them argued and said “why you called me for a class if you don’t have questions?” Well, I’ve paid thousands of dollars to learn about Canadian construction, so share your experience with us, and now the same teacher closed the courses shells before the due date which was supposed to be on the 8th Jan, so we aren’t able to download the material that we have paid for, emailed her but she never responded. The same teacher kept arguing the whole semester about everything making us feel that she’s doing a favour for us. Sorry, we have paid for this! 4- Another teacher in the first semester who I asked him to open the shell after the due date, responded with “ oh, this is a waste of time to do! And he never opened it. The main reason, we didn’t download the material in the first place was one of the teachers who explained that material shells would stay open till the end of the PROGRAM. And the list goes on! Arguing, unorganized, etc. are some of the many things that you would face with this school and teachers. I feel like that I’ve wasted a full year of my professional progress and career. And let me tell you something, you better teach your teachers to respect the students because myself, I would put your best teacher of yours in the corner if we dive into the technical as I’m more experienced and knowledgeable than 99% of them, I have delivered some of the most complex engineering projects on a global level. And I would never return to this school. Regards,

came here with a friend to inquire and also to look around. cafe is decent, campus is clean, public toilet is maintained. we had lots of questions and the lady we spoke with is very patient and eloquent, her explainations were very detailed. we were not able to check out the residence though. public transport is very easy, walkable bus stop at the main road and there's also another route that goes within the campus and stops near by the residence or cafe i think. amenities such as grocery or fast food is within the campus belt. also lotsa parking space. the gymnasium is of decent size as well. the library is big and neat. This now is on our top 5 list.

Zero rating out of 10 mean 0/10 Absolutely rubbish. We paid full fees and to get confirmed from this rubbish college, we got 26 days after so many emails and follow up. They are money drinkers from student. Never Go, do not suggest anyone to go. Their intention is only to get Canadian dollar, that’s it. Hope all you understand from small spark.

Cant say it was great experience. Although, it was not bad. Some teachers a really great and dedicated. Some are reading slides which they made by copying a book. Some of the good teachers cant get enough hours to teach and most should not teach at all. If any one thinks to go to Paralegal program there - think again. Pick another college. Enroll into 2 year program. Change you mind going into law if you want to go to Centennial. They will ruin you expectations of law profession. Quality of education is poor. Workload is very high. Out of all my course there were only 4 teachers that taught me well. Just don't go there for Paralegal. Other professions/courses cannot tell. Not good food court - poor choice of meals. No room to study. Parking is expensive and no room to park.

Tried calling to put down payment for my program starting in January. The call center representatives were really rude and didn’t sound like they wanted to take my payment at all. This was my first time ever applying and paying for a post-secondary program so I do not know how to application process works and one of the employees gave me attitude when I gave them the program code instead of the course code. I was continuously transferred to different departments for an hour before I finally got a hold of someone that was actually willing to help me and I finally put down my deposit. They definitely need to retrain some of their registration/payment department employees.

Worst college. I regret going to this school and wasted over 3 years attending this school. Professors don't care about you and do not teach you properly. CORRUPT COLLEGE , CORRUPT MANAGEMENT, CORRUPT ADMINISTRATION.. I would have given No star rating to the college. Horrible torture to a student. No one will gonna listen to you if you are an international student. Coz we are not called to give education, but just to make money by failing a bright student by disegalitarian approach and personal policies. Faculty donot upload grades on time. They upload grade of 6 weeks all together. Always misguiding students for their grades. Faculty keep personal grudges for students. At the end of semester, a faculty can fail you by not following grading policy. Even if you have 3.0 GPA overall. No one gives a damn towards the success of a student. If they feel to fail you, they will fail you. No reason given behind failing student. No rights or facility for international students. No one here replies to emails. No higher authority including chair and dean gives an appointment to meet in person. If they give an appointment, they won't take pain to listen to you. They don't care about your career. Even if you are right, they will still give totally personal and unfair decision. Their NO is NO policy sucks. On asking the reason for unfair decision or anything related to studies, they will simply ask you to go to counseller. Like SERIOUSLY...!!!??? Also, there is no account for charging higher fees for non- pre requisite subjects. No one cares here about student's Time, Money, Career. Dirty politics going inside the college system. Fake Policies..staff themselves do not follow the policy made by college. Total waste of time, money and mental health. Total TORTURE...Mentally, Emotionally as well as Financially ! HUGE REGRET for choosing this college !!

Horrible administration, nothing to do on campus, no feeling of community, plugs/internet are not in working order most of the time, no good food choices (no choices open all day even), no places to sit comfortably, broken/dirty tables, floors and chairs in the main seating area, on top of many other problems I personally have with the school. Would never recommend! Similar courses are unfourtunately not located anywhere closer though. Some of the teachers are amazing and some of the courses are quite interesting, but only some.

While the college has some amazing professors teaching, the service given to international students are terrible. College takes forever to issue graduation letters where as all other Ontario colleges have already issued theirs. Students face so many issues with applying for work permits and also issues with their current employers because of this. Further some programs taught are irrelevant to what the students major in such as Introduction to Computers for Hospitality students. The content is about networking and software which has no relevancy to what they are learning. I understand if the content is about Microsoft Office packages instead of networking which should be learnt by IT students. Utterly disappointed. College even charges students the FULL tuition fee for CO-OP term where as I personally know students from other colleges who do not pay for tuition during CO-OP. Unfortunately would never recommend this college to anyone else.

I had to chase it down by calling and emailing over 5 people! Some members of the staff were quite rude as well! I was planning on taking the course again eventually but after my experience, I will never study at Centennial!!! Stay away from any of their distance education programs!!! I had to withdraw from a distance education course with UTor as well but they refunded me after a single week! Go for them instead or another college!

Too hectic! I feel like everyone inside was extremely unorganized..my teachers talked more about their lives than teaching us the content we needed for our tests. When I asked for help, my teachers would not get back to me.. sometimes too late/after completing the assessment which I asked for help for..over all I do not recommend. I ended up dropping out and going to the Progress campus. I found they were much more organized from admin to teachers. Finally, the parking is a night mare. Paying for a student parking pass does not guarantee that there will be a spot there for you. You need to show up before the morning classes start or you most likely end up spending loads of $$$ parking in their paid parking lot..this is a warning, do not go here!!

This is an honest review, coming from somebody who applied at Centennial. These guys don't know how to operate. They don't reply back or answer calls. If you are a student planning to apply at Centennial, I would recommend you to look for another college because a college that doesn't even have time to give a proper reply to their prospects won't help you with anything further.

I was reading reviews and comments and now I'm really scared. I know that in every university and college exists people who was not satisfied and had troubles (was it their fault or college - don't care). But here is so many bad reviews (and even more, people complain about few same things - service, money and awful teachers). I want to study there because of few advantages (for me and general) but at this moment I'm confused and scared. I'm not a strong person (more like anxious) from another continent with no big amount of money and I scared of the perspectives that really many people says here.

Great teachers but the staff in the service hub are so rude. The take their sweet time while working joking around and talking but don’t like to assist students. Even if you go early morning when they open staff are on break from the minute …

Do not attend centennial college. Absolutely the worst school. Stay away from their software Engineering programs. Most professors are rude, do not care for their students, or should not be teaching in the first place. Computers are horrendous, always slow, missing software or just unable to connect to school networks. Programs are put together horribly, with many redundancies and labs and assignments that make no sense in doing. Different professors will cover different material and test on different things. Worst of all is the administration. It is so blatantly incompetent I don't understand how this school is still running. Do yourself a favor and goto George brown, Humber, Sheridan etc,and stay away from this God awful school

Final update: I completed my program back in December. When I looked at my final transcript I still had one of the classes I dropped (and was told to drop in the text below) on my record as "Failed" a class I never attended and took instead in my final semester... And of course I can't get any of the academic advisors or people in my department to get back to me. It has literally been over a month since I contacted my advisor and no response... Again. 3rd update: Just started my 3rd semester. A semester I'm only taking because I was lied to by an academic advisor at the school. Should have only been a 2 semester course, but read below for more details. Its now the 2nd week and I have missed 3 classes! due to being wait listed for a class I registered for last month, and initially signed up for back at the start of summer when I was advised to drop them to lighten my course load. Just yesterday I was assigned a class that I am unable to attend due to its time, and met with an advisor to make sure this wouldn't happen last month. I had to speak to a PR person from the school a couple months ago regarding what happened. They said they would sort everything out and ensure it wouldn't happen again. There is a major issue with Centennial's progress campus advisors, or lack there of and it need to be fixed. An advisor not only told me drop a class with no financial penalty (there was FULL financial penalty) I then received academic penalty because my advisor lost my signed drop sheet. Then lied about ever receiving it from me. Thankfully not only did I have the carbon copy but an email with another advisor confining the details and I was able to correct their mistake, but I still lost that money, money I cannot afford to lose. I'm so upset and stressed out with the way this school handles its students. 2nd update: I was advised to drop classes. But no adviser approved my submitted drop form, so now that they have approved it (over a month after I submitted it) it's past the deadline for a refund. They literally robbed me and I STILL CAN'T MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH AN ADVISER, it's been over a month and the average drop in wait times are well over an hour. I work full time and can wait 2 hours, for a meeting that may not happen. Update: I've now been waiting over 3 weeks to see an advisor! I keep getting bounced around and now my advisor went on vacation, and she referred me to another advisor who wont reply to my emails. I was advised to drop couple classes, but I have no clue what the implications of droping theses classes would be. No one at this school can or will help me. And its costing me thousands of dollars... Just started my 2nd semester. The place is an uncaring diploma mill. Registration is a joke and has caused me to miss over 10 classes between these semesters so far. There is one person assigned to help you, and that one person is also assigned to a thousand other people, so average turn around for help is about 2 weeks... I cant believe how much money I spent to go here. The teachers and curriculum are just as bad (most of the time)

We went to Centennial for my kids 2nd vaccine. It takes place in the gym at their Athletic Centre and it is so organized and well managed. Our appt was for 220 and we arrived just a little after 2pm. We were out just after 230 as it went by by smoothly and quickly. Volunteers working are all very kind and courteous. Thank you for making it easy and less stressful for me and my children.

I attend the school and every teacher i have is unorganized and if my life depended on a teacher to respond to my email asking for help, i would of been gone by the first week of the first year. Teachers will give 3 ish assignments for the whole semester than throw everything else at you the last 2 weeks, with extremely vague instructions for every single work given. Teachers will not help a student work around a missed or un-understood assignment/situation.

i've only been in this school for a few weeks and it's been terrible. the staff are extremely disorganized with my advisor Megan messing up my schedule deleting COMM from my timetable which was a hassle for me and because of her mistake I had to go to a COMM advisor and he told me i had to go to a different campus to take the course. That same man messed up my schedule as well by not deleting my gned when I requested him to and when I explained it to him he decided to disrespect me by saying "next" to my face as I was asking for help, even though there wasn't a line. also the registration staff are rude and I think centennial has been a terrible experience and no one deserves the stuff these unorganized staff members are making me go through.

the college doesn't care for students, they just care for the money and they are done with you. the teachers are too old to teach or they don't even know how to teach. students are all easy going, they don't even buy the books. they cheat all the time. both the students and teachers don't behave professionally. I really recommend to have some teaching lessons for the teachers to learn how to behave like a teacher. for an international student is so hard to come to Canada and pay this high fee it is so unfair to face with this low level of education. I will differently change my college for next year. I rather go back home, but not waste my money and time here.

I had a terrible experience with this college. The instructors are unprofessional. Farouzan mohommadi (The Persian lady who dresses inappropriately for her classes) laughed in my face when I was crying since I got a bad grade on her test years ago. She seems sadistic and has an evil side. There was an instructor named Anna... she was so rude to me. I think they should screen their instructors better to make sure they are personable and that they care about the students as well. Don't waste your money on this institution unless you have no choice.

Such a rubbish college, on my offer letter, fees for 2 semester (baking and pastry arts management) was $16,917.but now (14 Aug) they said you have to pay $19,998. Such a big difference for a international student.I went to student hub, after 5 days and after waiting several hours I came to that , college fee could change any semester. It was ok but when I payed fees for 2 semester according to the offer letter so how can it be changed and why they ask for 2 semester fee from international student if they know it could change.I haven't started my study yet and I am facing this much problem.

The worst college in Toronto. The employees are LAZY and do not know anything about their job every time you ask something the answer is "I do NOT know". Advisers do NOT care about students at all. if you are an international student and considering to go to a Canadian college please please stay away from this college I saw many students( domestic and international)who regret going to this college. It's been a month that I and many other students are trying to fix college's mistake on our files and they are not even bothering to respond and putting our graduation in jeopardy. International students MUST graduate on time to get their visas sorted and now because of college's mistake they have to pay the price what a shame.

I will not suggest anyone to take project management is this college. Professors are worst not even ready to understand students situation. In online working also they are not ready to understand and giving exam time of 30mins and 60mins. No quality of knowledge you will get from this hectic course from this college.

"Due to the pandemic situation all of our campuses and learning sites are closed" - Centennial College But they'll still charge you for athletics and wellness as well as health/counselling for each semester during the pandemic. Without providing these services/facilities to students. Call them and some of their employees will lie, saying you will get the refund, while others will say there are no plans of giving the money back....

Centennial College is one of the main and largest community college campus in Scarborough near Scarborough Town Centre! When I used to live in Toronto, I visited Centennial College, and I cannot believe a lot has changed since the last decade based on the infrastructure due to expansion Great and modern architecture! Very tidy and spacious! Plenty of services and departments! Great place to study and to obtain a degree! ????

Please revert me back with your suggestions.

Just a word of warning to anyone thinking of going to Centennial College's Progress Campus. I have a lot of issues with this school, but these are a few of them. Weekend hours are terrible. 7am - 5pm. Even the University of Toronto Scarborough campus is open until at least 12am. They got rid of exams. This sounds great but all it means is that you have the same amount of course expectations put into a 14 week period instead of a 16 week period. In other words all your assignments and tests are worth a lot more, with less opportunity for you to catch up if you fall behind, and less time available if you want to catch up. Computers on campus are frequently slow and often don't actually have the software you need actually installed on their hard drives (they use some kind of network system to log you into these programs). This just slows down everything. If you choose the wrong network (what each one does isn't explained anywhere) then you don't have access to the software you need. In some cases this can be as simple as not having access to Microsoft Office. Photocopying on campus is archaic. You'd think you could (in this day and age) just put money on your student card (since it has a bar code) and then just swipe any of the printers on campus if you want to photocopy something. Nope. You either have to put money onto your account online and then manually put in your student # and password at the printer (the machines they use to do this are garbage and often not anywhere near eye level) or you have to get a print card from the library. Honestly, the system they are using here is woefully outdated. The wireless printing system they have on campus is a joke. You can't select to have the pages you are printing be in colour, double sided, or have multiple slides printed on one page. In other words you basically can only print single sided pages with it. If the whole point of wireless printing is to make it convenient for students why not at the very least have some basic functionality in the program you are using to do it? Computers on campus are often broken as well, making it difficult at times to get technical work done. Finally, the food choices in and around campus are terrible. There is campus food (which by itself is just garbage) and then there is a McDonalds and a Tim Hortons close to campus. Past that though the selection is pretty grim.

I've been in this college for 2 years and all i can say that its not worth it.Ive completed two programs from Business and I.T dept. The professors dont help and the pressure of assignments is unbearable.Plus 75% of the college students are punjabis so i need not explain any further. The only positive is the amenities like gym etc is available but given the packed schedule in centennial, nobody has time for gym and other activities. Overall i would rate this college below average.

I have attempted to contact Morningside Campus by phone and email in numerous departments and no response. I need a police vulnerable sector checked completed to be cleared for my clinical placement. My local police department requires a document from Centennial College in order to process criminal checks. I have exhausted every single resource I could think of trying to get this document from Centennial College and no one will respond. I have contacted admissions department, administration, clinical requirements, health studies (rm 352), general inquiry department and I’ve tried the contact information on Google search engine, I even tried to contact Gayle, Janice and Faye Blake. No one will respond or reply or answer me. I have also tried to get a document from the school to provide to my work so that I could get a leave of absence for my clinical placement. No answer, no response. It has been months and this has officially jeopardized my clinical placement. I call and email Centennial College x3 times a week, by phone and email, no response. What am I suppose to do? Who am I suppose to contact for a simple document?

Horrable experience, centennial just need big freaking amount of money from international students. Dear centennial, if you want to enrol student in different campus for only one course please run shuttle busses . I you can’t run shuttle then tell your teachers to co-oprate with students. Why the hell you enrol student if all you just care is to fail those students? Why the hell your professors are so freaking strict? You might don’t have any idea that how hard is international student’s life is. You have maximum of stupid professors and i have many names of good professors also. What is the main motive of GNED? You can just give GNED 500 in course. Why there is no guidance to international student that you have these courses to do? Why there are all different departments to run in between? Why the credit of previous seamsters which I don’t use I cannot use in next sem? If you guys have limited seats available in classes then don’t enrol students more then that limit. Thanks.

College is good in terms of teaching, but they have a lot of charges for small things. No benefit even in Covid times. Other colleges have given a lot of financial support to their students, but this college always took money. Don’t go for the nursing program. At least don’t go for the practical nursing program. It’s very unorganized, many students fail in the program. If you want to bridge you can’t fail or have repeated courses which is essentially a scam. There’s no room for mistakes in this program which is sad because of the need for nurses. Not retakes on tests, no way to increase your grade with an extra assignment, no recorded lectures while there’s online learning. Be prepared to struggle if you choose this school for this program.

Centennial College is a great place to learn and build up a career. I have just completed the three years Mechanical Engineering Technology program from the Progress campus, and I must say I enjoyed my each and everyday being there. The college provides a vast diverse climate with people from different parts of the world coming under one community. It has well facilitated classrooms, library and computer labs with free WiFi for all. Students can also book laptops and net books for personal use. The cafeteria has Tim Horton, Subway fast food stores. The Student Center provides movie lounge and gymnasium with well maintained equipment. If you are planning to build up your career through college, then this is a place to make your dream come true. There will be always someone to help you. You will always feel it as your home. Definitely, gonna miss this place a lot. Thank You Centennial for everything....

Okay, I read all the reviews and people seem to be quite frustrated with the school and I have no idea why. I'm an international student and I started school in January 2017 and honestly, my experience with Centennial college is amazing till now. First of all, the most important thing is help you get, its amazing, people are actually nice here, always ready to help and I'm one of those people. So, its always good to find people who are willing to help. Second, classes, environment, and infrastructure is top notch, no complaints about it. Third, school is really strict with its policies of cheating, I never get any chance to cheat and that's what forces me to study all the subject and have better understanding of each and every subject. Fourth, Teaching is amazing here. There is most of practical knowledge I get for each of my subject and there are tons of assignments, which feel stressful (May be that's why students are frustrated), but at the end of the day, they give those to help us, make us more professional and make us think what industry is looking for. Teaching staff mostly is very experienced. I agree, not all teachers are good always, even I've issues with one or two of them, but, I swear, most of them are amazing and they are willing to teach and they put effort in it. Fifth, staff working at Student HUB are really friendly and helpful, they recognize me now and they are always willing to help. Sixth, Tons of opportunities that Centennial provides a student, there are so many programs with which you can travel internationally for free (Literally free, no hidden costs) and have a lifetime experience, called GCELE. There is a Leadership program, called LeaderShape, which shapes you to be a better leader in your life and there are more. I personally attended LeaderShape (its not international) and I tell you, if you attend that week long program, your reviews about the school will go from 1 star to 5 star easily, and it is said, GCELE is better than that, I'm looking forward to apply for it. P.S. - I don't know why people have such a bad opinion about the school. I think it matters how you approach and how much you're willing to take out of the opportunities school throws at you. If you're not willing, even the best of the best universities won't be able to help you. This school doesn't lack anything, its up to an individual, how much they want to take it.

I think your enjoyment at this school depends entirely on what program you’re in. I was in the Law Clerk program, which had exceptional and very educated and caring professors. Prior to that, I took marketing for 2 semesters and the classes were crowded beyond belief, the professors were arrogant and not concerned about students whatsoever. I think services are okay, although at the beginning of new semesters you will have to wait several hours to see an advisor. The success advisors for the law clerk program are nice and helpful but I have had problems where I emailed the chair of the program and didnt receive any reply, or when I was waiting in the HUB for 2 hours for my number to be called, only to learn that my number somehow wasn’t in the system . Also, I never bother trying to study at school as the library or honestly..any spaces really is extremely crowded and you will walk around forever trying to find a seat before you give up and decide you’ll just study at home instead.

WORST COLLEGE in CANADA. Don't even think or try to come to this College. The only thing that matters to college is the money. They will ask for money every time. And the timetable they give are so horrible. Don't come to college instead go to some where else or sit at home instead of wasting your time and money in this college. You will also get an instant and uninformed fees increase and that too a huge amount of increase. They will just send a mail with increased fees and ask too pay the fees. There is no best or a good part about this college. Whatever this college has that's worst. Staff who will be there at student hub for help in registration period are most rude people you will ever meet. If you have some issues and student adviser or success adviser is not able to get a solution they will just leave you on your own and will say "That its not on my hand, college handles matter like this." and will ask you to go somewhere else to get rid of your problems and they will ask you to go back to student adviser. If they transfer your ticket somewhere else, they will most of the time transfer to wrong place where you will be transferred asked to go some different place, which waste's a lot of time. You will never enjoy your college student life in this college.Even if these is last college to study in Toronto, I won't recommend anyone to choose this college.

The security is so rude and not helpful. I brought parking permit online. I donot know there are several different parking lots. So I parked my car as usual, when exist, my card is not working. I was asked for help, and the security said I had to pay it, meanwhile I did not bring my credit cards with me. At that time, I asked him to open the door and I can pay next time. It’s only $ 10 dollars and several cars behind me. He refused to open the door and said I have to tell all of cars which behind me to move. After half hour, I backed in and parked my car again. And call a friend to send me a card to pay it!

Choosing Centennial over Durham and George Brown has been a poor choice so far. I haven’t even stepped into the classroom environment yet and I’m already disappointed. Trying to actually get a hold of someone to answer a few questions without passing me off with a terrible weblink that isn’t even for my chosen program, has been mind numbing. I’ve been trying for TWO WEEKS, the health sciences people don’t even answer initial emails or phone calls. It’s quite astounding.

Girlfriend goes here. If you are a student from Canada don't go. It's 90% international students that include many that don't treat women equally or with respect. They treat all their students like piles of money instead of people. They keep the college open for government funding instead of closing it for obvious freezing rain/crazy snow events. Making everybody show up then within an hour, quickly kicked out of the buildings into the freezing cold by security. When public transportation is not running well. Not to mention you really aren't going to learn too much. The teachers in here really don't know how to teach and the bar is sooooo low. The greedy people who run this school are only after international students money and it shows.

The college just cared about YOUR MONEY only, nothing more. They added abundant courses (GNED, elective courses, etc) to squeeze out that extra fees. Course materials were repetitive to scam more money. (Course code I took 3756) Expensive textbooks (all books >> $100) are needed to pass absurd open-book tests and the costly associated 1-time use online codes just to have the access to the 10% online quizzes. You could not sell the textbooks 'cause of used codes. (What the heck!!!) Teachers are mediocre at their profession and careless about their students 'cause some postponed grades post. Thus, students were indecisive about drop-outs so the school could have a good reason to make more money. Most of the teacher are novice part-timers who are lack of teaching skills and hands-on experience. All facility members just cared about their governmental surveys 'cause it ranks the school amongst other colleges. (Well, you know why) Program Coordinator always blatantly lie about potential jobs to pursue students to buy into the program. Jobs they promoted were mostly menial. Inadequate lab materials leaded to insufficient learning experience. Late responses/No replies from the school service. I sent them email about continuing education but still no reply received after 3 months. Call them but never get a correct guidance. Has to take time off from work to go directly to the school to resolve. Time table were all over the place. You could have a whole 6-7 hr. gaps in between classes. (LOL) In my opinion, save yourself some money to do something else instead of investing in college educations because it is not worthy at all and everyone nowadays has a bachelor degree or diploma which makes its worthless to have. Also, employers are indifferent to your degree as well and they care about the skill you are going to bring to the cooperation. However, these skills can be learnt from getting anywhere such as on the Internet, parents, friends, etc. Not particularly from school but that is my opinion and this college provided me nothing but putting me in debt.

Respected, Sir/Ma'am, I have a question here.. I cleared my ielts and I want to study in your college in September 2021 intake... But can you please tell me whether it will be online or offline in September 2021?

Doing my Advanced diploma here, it's been a great school so far. Only set back is the morning side campus is rather undeveloped compared to progress. Would love to see more food options.

This college is a very good college as when the pandemic started this college help students to pay the fee with the extended due dates and specially for the international students . I directly talk to directors office and they even reply in less then a days think of a college shoes director office reply in less then a day who well managed and we'll organized college is that and after that also even I have little quire about something they replied ASAP and with there reply they ensure that student have the understanding that college management and the college staff is standing like a rock for you and whatever the problem might be there they always hold your back and never let you down I recommend to students who want to study as a international student should also look college like this one so that they can get because if the college in which you study is not good then no one will give you the job and in today's senerio where job compition is very high then you should be ready for the future by studying in this college.

Don’t bother with this school. The worst school in Ontario, the staff does not care about the students. They are so unorganized during the COVID pandemic. Still charging students full tuition and did not provide a class schedule, forcing them to learn on their own without any teacher to student contact. Disgusting and lazy way to go about online learning. Started a week later and took away students reading week which is a much needed break. All other schools in Ontario provided proper schedules, and provide live lectures so students can interact with their teachers appropriately. Centennial College fail rate is definitely going sky rocket this year because they do not care about the students. Administration is not informed about anything and are absolutely useless.

The best vaccination clinic I’ve been to. They’ve organized it really well. Experienced volunteers. Try to book appointment and go in before 9am. You’ll just be out in 20 minutes.

Worst education ! Worst staff ! Worst management ! Waste of money. I did not take summer term and they asked me for summer fees.

Regards,

I am studying Project Management at Centennial. My advice is: run away from Centennial. Why? Please find below: 1. They are VERY disorganized; 2. They leave BREAKS between classes of 7 HOURS; 3. The coordinator of the program NEVER shows up to introduce himself. I made an appointment with him and he told me that he couldn't change nothing in the program or talk about any professor. He didn't explain what is his function there. 4. I have been emailing the financial sector, the international office, inquiring about $75 they took from my account. They never answered me; 5. They told me that they have more than 82% of success into the internship program. Until this point, I couldn't find anyone who did the internship to say a word about. 6. There are a few professors that people complain every term and still there. It means that they actually don't care about the QUALITY of the program at all. THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR WAS: They told me that the program at Pickering Campus was full so I had to choose Progress Campus. When I arrived here there were ONLY 8 STUDENTS in Pickering. How it affect my life? 1. I would rent a house in Pickering, where it is MUCH CHEAPER to live; I am paying now $1450 for a studio in Toronto while people is paying $1600 for a whole house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and parking for 2 cars there; 2. I would look for jobs in Pickering as well, close of campus and from my home; Now I am working in Toronto what will make the things much more difficult to change. 3. I probably would buy a car with the savings in rent; To conclude, they are messing up with my personal life also, not only with the program or my schedule.

I probably wouldn't have came to this school if i knew this mandatory Global Citizenship class was actually liberal studies. Its an extremely biased and unnecessary class which should not be mandatory, it made my experience in this school far less enjoyable. I only stayed here because the profs for my actual program were very good. Other than that awful Global Citizenship class, the school has been decent.

Great college. But, Tyfoon Akkus is a very bad instructor in this college. Beware of him and his made up courses

Hi Sir/mam. I am planning to take admission in your college in September intake. I have Diploma in Civil engineering and i want to study architecture. Please reply me with courses available and fee details.

Horrible school, professors are a joke and the staff are incompetent and cannot do anything right. I applied for Centennials Computer Technician program and I have to say, this college is disorganized at emailing applicants. Nonetheless, I disregarded the lack of emails the college sent and thought maybe they were busy. I went to the welcome orientation and everything was fine. I met my professors and they described the courses as well as the needed equipment to each student and everything was fine. The following Tuesday when school began on September 6th, 2016, the professors started discussing matters that were completely irrelevant to what they told us in the orientation and they were telling us to bring in supplies that were never mentioned to us in the orientation. When I asked why these topics and supplies weren't presented to us in the orientation, the professors became rude and told me, along with multiple other students that we weren't listening and that the professor supposedly even sent us an email regarding the tools and supplies we needed. I showed the professors my school email and they claimed that I deleted the email yet I had a full inbox of emails from 6 months prior to that school day that weren't deleted and my deleted section of my email was empty. At this point I was upset and consulted my program Coordinator and told them about my issue and they said "we can't do much about it, check your email" really?!?! I have sent in my withdrawal form last thursday and never am I going to return to such a lazy and rude educational facility such as centennial again. Humber Lakeshore is my next choice as I have friends attending the school and say that it is the best college they have attended.

Morningside Campus needs to be expanded. Campus has an overcrowded cafeteria and library that does not have enough seating for such a big popuation. Most teachers and programs are good. Also needs more food options for campus

One piece of advice for those of you who are coming to this school to be a mechanic. If you are a Canadian citizen or has Permanent Residency, don't even waste your time coming here, try to get an apprenticeship and get sent here by your employer. The Motive Power Program (This applies to automotive, truck and coach, and heavy duty equipment) is a two year diploma program, is also probably one of the worst programs I have ever experienced and the school it self is terrible. I honestly have learnt more during high school compared to what I have here, there's barely any hands on, if there is, a one-man task turns into a six-man task which is a complete nuisance. I have asked my professors to have extra hands on time but unfortunately the labs are always booked, some way, some how. However, our professors, for the trade courses, are absolutely awesome, they are very knowledgeable individuals. In the two-year program you will have to deal with "academic" and "general education" courses that are absolutely useless and will not benefit you anyway once you graduate, they are more like money-grabbers. The professors that I had for these courses appear to very unqualified for their jobs but some how they're standing there teaching me, a majority of them are part time employees that I find do not know how to teach. People are reading directly off the power point slides, some fail to convey messages, some try to fail students on purpose as a "bragging right". In other words, save your self the money and trouble dealing with all these non-sense by trying the best of your abilities to find an apprenticeship or at least have some first hand experience in the trade before coming to this school. If you have no experience, it will be very hard to you to relate to what is being taught due to such little time in hands on classes. As for facilities, I once asked my professor to get us some brake clean, he had to walk around the entire school to look for it and comes back with a quarter-full bottle of brake clean for a class of 20 people... That speaks for itself, whoever has experience in the trade knows how much brake clean costs.

Went to this school for a very short time before they went on strike and I pulled out--thank god for that. Very unorganized, teachers were unhelpful and parking was an absolute mess. They oversell the parking passes and it ends up being really difficult to get a spot and make it to class on time. The scheduling was horrendous. I had one class on the third floor with an over-talkative teacher followed by a class ran by a teacher who wouldn't let you inside if you were late. That class was conveniently located all the way in the basement on the opposite side of the first class. Multiple attempts to change my schedule and nothing worked out. I worked in the industry before going to school and the teachers I had were completely arrogant and unprofessional. I'm not saying I knew everything coming into the program, but when you ask for help, they seem annoyed that you didn't understand it the first time. The math teacher I had was amazing and patient but the organization of the course was disastrous. You had to do a quiz after every lesson even if you didn't understand it. It all seemed very rushed. After the strike was finished, they expected us to do the same amount of work in even less time. It was ridiculous. I also attended a private school and Seneca in the past and neither of them were anywhere near as frustrating as it was trying to go here..

I was reading some reviews by the students of this college, i was like nah it’s not true but after starting my own applications, i found out that some of these claims were true. So what happened is, as a normal student you will choose your program of interest. Start your application, fill it out and submit. Easy right! After i have done that i came across a notification which says that my application is duplicated and i need to contact international student department via phone or email. So i did, i called 15 times, each agent i talked to will go like which region you are applying from? I am applying from Canada then he goes we will transfer you to the right agent! Knight of dreams never picked up lol. After going through that, i emailed them and unfortunately i got the same answer, same words. Thank you for the bad experience. Don’t be sorry just work hard to deliver better service to both new and current students.

Campus is small and all the common areas are usually very crowded. Most of the instructors are pretty good - programs are good but can be a little disorganized sometimes. Other than that it's a great place to be - very diverse and inclusive. A lot of supports available to help with your studies.

I have a quick question , just see if you could answer this ... So I'm currently in the last semester of my LLB and I'm planning to go to Canada for further studies . My choice of course is paralegal course . The problem is that I had a very low score in my bachelors ( English hons.) i.e. 47% . I talked to a consultant and they said apart from my LLB marks , my score in bachelors will also be evaluated .( I haven't taken the IELTS test yet but I'm pretty sure I can score good) Can you tell me if there's a way out for this problem ? I mean do you think is there even a chance to me to get in ?

The OSAP financial advisors are the laziest and the slowest. How many times I putted reviews about the osap office. But each time the owner replay to call this number and talk to you soon and provide detail. I provided all the detail and can not provide more and its your responsibility to take action and move around college to see if everything is good. I took number for osap and waited 2 hours to be called in. 2 people are working in there. Lady is sitting doing some paper work and the guy is unprofessional and each time I need to go there I feel like he is being forced to sit here. Oh come please dont replay me to "call this nunber and we will talk". I dont want to talk and please dont just sit there. Try to come out and see the people you guys hired are not able to provide professional and good service to students. The guy is very slow. I hope this time you take some action and see why is morningside centennial has 1.4 out of 5. You can improve this. Thanks

Josh Brian

We went to Centennial for my kids 2nd vaccine. It takes place in the gym at their Athletic Centre and it is so organized and well managed. Our appt was for 220 and we arrived just a little after 2pm. We were out just after 230 as it went by by smoothly and quickly. Volunteers working are all very kind and courteous. Thank you for making it easy and less stressful for me and my children.

My friend has been trying to contact the Admissions office since the past 3 weeks but no response. Infact, they are mailing back unnecessary things. This is seriously not the kind of response expected from one such College. If anyone can help me out, my friend is looking for someone who is responsible enough to answer queries regarding his application for Winter'21! :((((((
