I am taking the Addictions Recovery Support for Youth and Families program and I appreciate the efforts from the Administrative team and my Instructors, specifically Steven who was the young man who helped me with my Admissions to this program. He did his best to give me advice and direction for my acceptance to this program. Simone and Zee from Finance were very helpful for me to secure my OSAP funding. Joyce from reception is very cooperative and friendly. Overall my experience with CDI College is amazing and my wife is also a happy Accounting student.

I was interested in the Immigration Consultant program for which I called CDI College and spoke with their Assistant Director of Admissions Steven Berenstein. I was amazed to have a pleasant experience talking to Steven, who helped me to get into the program. When I met with Simone from their Financial Department she was also VERY helpful in her explanation regarding the OSAP loan and grants. Steven was accommodating when I needed to change my start dates. The day I came back to complete the online OSAP application, Sonali from Finance was very knowledgeable and assisted me happily. Overall it was a very good experience and They deserve the 5 Stars!

So it's been 7 months now being a student at CDI Scarborough campus. Taking this moment to thank my instructor, Mr.Kamran, for taking the initiative to support and help me to overcome each course with ease. At times I feel it's hard and when I approach Mr.Kamran with doubts, he explains and makes it easy to understand. I do understand there is a huge difference between in-class & online classes, however, I appreciate Mr.Kamran for taking the risk in this COVID-19 period to invite 1 or 2 students to college in order to explain things in detail for a hands-on experience. With that being said, COVID-19 protocol is being maintained with high safety measures while on campus. I still do have a long way to go in order to complete my course successfully. I do understand in the coming days the course is going to be intense and tough in detail, however, looking forward to a smooth run as much as possible with Mr.Kamran being the instructor. Once again taking this moment to thank the CDI Scarborough Campus community for all the help & support. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's been 2 months now since I joined the CDI Scarborough College. After long research about the college and reading reviews, it gave me the confidence to join CDI College. I’m taking this opportunity to thank Lorna who was my financial advisor, she supported me to get through all the necessary requirements for the program. A special thanks to Geoffery who took me through my admission process till the end, He made it so simple and straightforward making it quite easy. I need to thank Maira Lima who was my SSSO instructor, though the class was for a week, the class attended & information shared was worth the while. She kept encouraging the students in her class. Its been a month now since I have been attending the CyberSecurity class. Since I have no background in the IT sector or any computer courses, starting from scratch is quite very challenging. There are times where I thought, did I select the wrong course? Did I miss something? Can I get this done? Each time I do have an issue, I bring it to my instructor, Kamran. And he guides and supports me the way that I need to move forward with the course. Kamran, being an experienced person in the IT sector for a very long period, explains and makes us understand it in a simple way and makes us not giving up the course, but moving forward with confidence. Still, I do have a long way to go to complete the course. I look forward to each day to learn new things. Once again taking this moment to thank the CDI Scarborough Campus community for all the help. I am studying Dental Assisting program at CDI College. I have had a great experience so far. The first day that I came in, I met with Steven Berenstein from Admissions and he was helpful with the understanding of the course layout, how the College runs. Joyce and Jenny from Reception were so nice and welcoming. My Instructor Nazima is very nice, amazing and helpful. The campus is clean and put together especially the very high end equipment that you would actually use within out Dental Lab.

I am registered in CDI Scarborough Campus for IT Course Network System Engineer in Mr. Kamran Hassani Class. NSE course outline is ok but need to add some update in it. Mr. Kamran had very extensive knowledge in IT and he is very helpful instructor for student and very dedicative to push his students for better result in Exam and Certification.

Wonderful Campus location. The student population in the Scarborough campus is a mixed cultural one. This makes the experience a very dynamic and diverse one. The student-administration relationship is wonderful. Help is almost immediately available when requested. The instructors, are good. Infact I think my IT program instructor is the best. The Student Ambassadors program is owesome. it liaises with the administration to resolve basic student problems and this make everyone on the campus happy.

My experience with CDI College of Technology(Scarborough) is possibly the most admirable moments of my life. For the past years of institutionalized learning, I have become accustomed to surrounding myself with those who were familiar to me as my friends and those who are like me. The idea of being in a new place with new people in new country none of which I knew before scared me. This experience turned out to be the complete opposite of what I had envisioned during the weeks leading up to this anxiety-filled affair. After flying approximately 15 hours from my country (Bangladesh) I arrived in Toronto. In brief Bangladesh is an Asian Country and entire population is local residents. I have never had to worry about being different from anyone else. It is not that I am scared of diverse atmosphere, it’s just I never faced people from other culture and language. Being part of CDI made my life easy. Staff and Teachers helped me not only with my studies but also my social life in Canada. I am looking for the very best part of my life with CDI College (Scarborough).

Going to CDI college; was a rough adjustment for me in the beginning; i have not been in a school environment in over a couple years, and im proud to say that im almost done my course, i finish this February 2018 and im pretty excited. Their have been so many bumps on the road, with everyday life, financial and just stress; but with the support of a lot of the teachers and majority of staff i made it through. so many times i wanted to drop everything and just be like forget it schools not for me etc. But i'm very grateful for the support and the motivation, they work with you to come up with a solution; everyone is so friendly and understanding and just willing to see you through and help keep you motivated. The classes are not big so its guaranteed you will get the help you need for your work sometimes the teachers are willing to stay later then their time to make sure you understand the material. No school is perfect but that's okay; because as long as you have a school where not even just your teachers care but the rest of the staff as well caring makes up the imperfections. I was very nervous at the idea of going back to school, but my program director (Steven) was super supportive and not just helping me make a difficult decision but he was able to help me work out the fine details that would affect our family life. He was as realistic as they come and never once pressured me into committing to anything I wasn't sure of. The college staff has been nothing but supportive in addressing any of my needs whenever I had them. Joyce and Jennifer, the college coordinators, are of top of EVERYTHING, amazing women. I've been in the Business and Digital Marketing program for about a month now and I have no complaints. The courses I'm taking are relevant to my program and to today's business market, making class discussions very interesting and informative. So far it has been the best decision I've made to move ahead in life.

My experience with the College so far has been amazing. Though classes haven't started officially, I already have a very good impression of the campus and their staff. The administration process was also very smooth. Upon arriving at the campus, I was greeted by both receptionists who gave me information the appointment, and dealt with the program payments. Just started my pharmacy assistant course and already I felt I have learned so much. Not only does the program provide education on being a pharmacy assistant, we also learn about finance, computing and how to apply for jobs which I believe will help me a lot in the long run. It is already an amazing experience and I am expecting it to get better and better!

When I first came into CDI College the receptionist Joyce was very welcoming. I was nervous as hell before I came in to meet with the Admissions Advisor Steven. Meeting with Steven and getting all the information I needed plus more, my nerves started to calm down as I realized this was a good choice to come back to school and to come to THIS school. Steven was helpful over the phone, text messages and e-mails and got help throughout my application process including Zee from finance for my OSAP. Unfortunately my experience was not even worth one star. :(. I took the Addictions And Community Service Worker program. Our books were always late. I had to listen to lectures on repeat because classmates were late or didn't show up. Sometimes I heard the same lecture three times. Placement? That was a joke. I had to find my own. No help from the school what so ever. I did get get help creating a resume though, that they altered and lied on so I could get a job. Obviously I did not go along with this. So many more horrible experiences here, finally we were not even notified of our own graduation. I had to email over and over to get an invite. I graduated with a 96%. Yay me right? No. not so much because CDI is not a recognized school and so it was all for not.IMO stay away from this school, save your money. Go to a community college or University. Please believe me. I also read reviews and I thought "oh it won't happen to me" but sadly it did.

The first time you walk off the elevators, and through the double doors, you are greeted in a very polite manner. I had my appointment to meet with Theresa Jose, one of the administrators at the college, just meeting her, I knew I was about to make the right decision. My initial inquiry to explore CDI, was to look into the Paralegal programme, but before I even came to the College Theresa, contacted me, and for whatever reason, asked if I would be interested in the Immigration Consultant course, it sparked my interest quite strongly, and here I am today, in my 3rd week of my new career, on my way to becoming an Immigration Consultant. My professor for the start of the programme is Shontel Atkinson, who from the first day of class May 25,2020 I was quite impressed with, she is very knowledgeable, she is firm but very fair, and I very much appreciate that. Overall I am very happy that I am here at CDI College. I looked into other Colleges before deciding that CDI would be the best fit for me, the Admin staff , the Financial office staff, and the front desk staff, [ when you still were able to go into the college] were all very professional and friendly. Completed the Payroll Administrator course from here and it is an upsetting that they did not provide any completion certificate. I tried to call the coordinator but she is not available and there is no call back. I found coordination with CDI college is always a challenging task. Once we are into course, there is always delayed support from college. During start of each course, the instructor will not send the correct course link to join online. When we try to call CDI, they will transfer the calls all around and it is hard time to find who will take responsibility of replies. When we pay for books to CDI and they will courier the spiral binding and with photocopied books that too after few days of course start not earlier.

I am currently on Addictions Recovery Support for youth and families program with Kim Crossman as our instructor.I started last year Sept.2019 and on my 2nd year last May 18, 2020 (this year). Last middle of March, due to the pandemic, we do online courses through zoom which is still good because we are live as Kim does the lecture with the group sharing, assignments to be emailed and exams done online which is well-instructed. This course is what I am passionate about and it encourages me more to pursue because the modules not only helped me personally but you become aware of the world view and how society is.There is a lot of learning you can get from it in preparation of the outside world.In addition, you will learn a lot of multicultural perspectives in a multicultural setting.It is a worthwhile journey!

The teacher's know their material and are willing to ensure you know it too! The classes are small enough that the teacher can ensure that students not only understand the material, but are able to utilize it in the workforce. The atmosphere is also really wonderful as everyone here WANTS to learn. EVERYONE HERE has a goal they want to accomplish and are willing to put in the time and effort necessary to do so! The classes are not easy but both the teachers and other students make it fun and rewarding! No matter what class you are in or what course you are taking the we are all like 1 family working together! We all help eachother when we need it!
