Went to this school to finish my high school education and well it was all right. I mean you learned more in Saskatchewan but besides the point. It's a lonely experience there with alot of conflicts you heard about but eh. Main reason I choose 1 star would be the sheer amount of propaganda the teachers mix with education as well as bring in organizations that send hating messages such as "death to america" from places like Reel Canada. Honestly what else can you expect from a decent town like St.Catharines.

I am a student at Denis Morris and I'm no stranger to school conflicts but by far this school handles it's students,teachers and punishments with such a lack of care,for the past few months I've had an ongoing issue with another student and I've gone to the vice principal several times (we aren't allowed to go directly to the principal and it seems the VPS never tell him about the issues either) this student has sent death threats to me and another one of my friends and has damaged my personal belongings,each time she notices I'm not close enough to my things she takes it upon herself to throw my belongings across the hall or in the trash (I carry a 4L water bottle and a black string up bag with my binder in it) on Tuesday May 14th I wrote a note saying simply "dearest S, HANDS OFF MY STUFF" and I placed it with my belongings yet she still decided to throw my bottle into the ground and dump my binder bag into the trash with her garbage,I went straight to the VPS fill in and let her know but she said the same thing the actual vp said "well just don't talk with her" from day one of this issue they've always told me to leave her alone but the only communication I had with her was after she throws my things and I tell her to stop and leave my things alone,so yesterday Wednesday May 15th I wrote a note saying "dear S,Ive tried to be nice,I've tried to give you chances yet you still can't seem to LEAVE MY SH** ALONE,all of these problems will go away if you just leave my sh** alone,course id like an I'm sorry,this is the last time I'm willing to ask you to leave my things alone,if you throw my things again I will be sure to throw your things in an unknown toilet or other available pit" I went and have her the letter before walking away and then I was called to the VPS office where I was then screamed at by both the vice principal Quinnboyer and Gultarie (pronounced gull-tear-E) the male vp proceeded to try and make up lies claiming I slammed my hand on her locker which even Quinnboyer said "no he only waved his hand" she then proceeded to say "we never go right to a suspension and we also like to look at the students history,we are thinking of giving you a three day suspension" this school is absolutely terrible,there are teachers who are right out about the fact that they hate the students,the vice principals are power hungry fiends and the principal himself is lazy and never gets involved with the students he is supposed to guide,the teachers can't even handle the students and would rather kick them out of class just so no one has to deal with them,this schools punishment system is biased and based on favoritism and now me and my parents are going to take this issue into our own hands,I would not recommend this school whatsoever, at least not while the current vice principals QuinnBoyer gualtieri and the principal delorenzo are in charge -Dylan Coppola, student

I graduated from this school in 2002, I stayed for O.A.C. (Ontario Advanced Credits) and was the last for it, and then I stayed for one more year. I had a good chance making friends and getting bullied here and the guidance councilors didn't know what they were talking about. They told me and some other students one thing and then we found-out that opposite was true.

DM has its ups and downs. Teachers are great, admin is questionable. Classes are taught well but rely on dated material (see Psychology, Sociology and Anthropology). A good school, but not the best.

If your child is being bullied at this school, you are better off dealing with it. . My son has been bullied over a year. He has had his things tossed in the trash cornered and worse. My son writes a letter to the person bullying him asking kindle to stop !! Even the principle stayed there where no threats nothing. Just that they are not to be around each other ! It is not okay to railroad a child and hinder their education. If the girl would not have been tossing his personal things, no such letter would have been written no harsh words no threats , they suspend him !! But the girl does not even get a detention. Going to the media. This has gone far enough !!! Teaching kids that favoritism is real in the educational world. Maybe that little girl should learn to leave people alone, my son is not perfect but he was kind as she stated.
