I like the Arden. I've been here countless times for spring concerts and some dancing events and it's a nice facility. The concession is not always open, but I think that depends on the event. The acoustics aren't bad, but I haven't had the chance to listen to professional entertainers at this facility. The parking is generally pretty good as well.

We were there for the St. Albert international children's festival. The show we watched was great (BAM Percussion) and the space was good. The lady guiding the school groups into the hall was pretty curt to the point of being downright rude as she was escorting groups of children to their seats. If I knew her name I'd call and recommend to the manager that perhaps she find another position for the next festival.

Love this place. Come early for good parking. We took our kids to a Mini Pop Kids concert there tonight. Amazing staff! My only complaint would be that the concession was fairly limited. They said it was because of the earlier performance, so it might have been a one off.

Attended Dance Strong competition. Lobby is small and dated. Couches near washrooms need to be replaced. The theatre itself has great sound and a great size for being able to see the performers facial expressions etc. Much more intimate than then bigger venues in Edmonton.

Amazing ! Seats are great I don't think k ypu need a specific one to see they're all pretty great. We saw a circus show put on by local edmonton artists and it was fabulous! They had trick dogs acrobats contortionist juggling singing it was just great for the kids and also adults bc I loved it.

We attended the 2019 Cheremosh Ukrainian dance festival at the Arden theatre. The theatre is lovely with plenty of comfortable seating that offers excellent views of the stage. However, the lobby and the change rooms are quite small for this type of event. The theatre is well-situated and offers visitors a chance to explore the beauty of St. Albert’s river valley or enjoy the shops and restaurants of its downtown core.

This a great venue for intimate concerts and other shows. With a capacity of about 500 there is no bad sight lines. The seating is comfortable. Easy access to the theatre. My wife and I have been here a couple of times for concerts and thoroughly enjoyed them. The sound is high quality. The whole experience was great. I would recommend coming here for any show because it’s comfortable and the ambiance is great.

The Arden Theatre is home. It's comfortable shoes. It's hot chocolate on a chilly evening. The ushers smile like they've known you forever, and are genuinely happy to help. The technical crew are pros to the core. The variety of shows is amazing, and I love checking the calendar for what's coming next. The Arden is definitely my happy place in St. Albert. Encore!!!

I don’t usually write too many reviews but wanted to review this venue in hopes that for future shows, performers might consider a different venue.. We arrived at 6, for a 6:30 show.. everything went smooth for entry and the event staff were more than accommodating and helpful directing people to their seats. My problem came during the intermission. There were only 3 working bathrooms, my daughters and I were sent to use the public library bathroom which was fine but no venue supporting that many moms and children should only have three working bathrooms.. the other complaint I had was the concession. When I went to get a small snack for my daughters we had the option of mint mentos and jersey milk chocolate bars... no chips, sweet treats, twizzlers, ice cream treats wine gums, everting on their menu was sold out...they said they ran out at the afternoon show which I think is actually even worse than running out that night because it gave them plenty of time to restock... anyway very nice place to park and find and the staff were excellent but I would caution people booking a large event like the mini pops...

I was here for a Ukrainian dance competition. The seating area of the theater is nice. The chairs are comfortable and you have a good view of the stage regardless where your seats are. The little garden area right outside is also a nice place to stand and chat before/after your show as well which is fine during warmer months but there really is no lobby inside the theater. The set up getting into the theater is also a little odd. As you have to climb a staircase to get to the theater plus more stares to get to your seat, it isn't really accessable for everyone. The stairs aren't step or narrow or anything (they're a relativity eat climb) but there's no way to access the theater without clinging stairs and I didn't see any ramps.

Saw the evening appearance of Steve Smith as "Red Green". Great show by a wonderful comedian. Saw this performer a few years back at the Edmonton Jubilee Auditorium. The Arden Theatre show was better. The Arden is about 1/3 the size of the "Jube" and thus is a much more intimate venue. We were near the top row of seating and the view of the stage was still fine, close enough to see the performer well without the aid of a large video screen. The ambience of the Arden Theatre is better as you feel the entire audience seems to be collected together. The seats themselves are very comfortable, the theatre is immaculate, and the staff were wonderful. The Arden Theatre has a cozy feel in its design while being large enough to comfortably handle the attending audience.
