Excellent college to sent your children to if u want them to be book worms and treated like waste by the management.worst management and the teachers are also forced to work by the managements agenda,even treats departments according to the will of management if a HOD is ready to act according to the will of management they treat that department with special care.If the HOD acts considering the students and their happiness the management isolates that department.Principal of the college is the teachers who can act according to managements will,other teachers are not even considered for the principal selection process no matter what their experience or years of service.Cameras everywhere even infront of toilet.there is one or two good teachers all others comes to class reads the text book and leaves,If your son/daughter is good in arts don't sent them here,They dont help the students even for university kalolsavam students go and perform using there own money no help what so ever from the college, drinking water available is the college is unhealthy.Library service is excellent i think that's the only thing good about the college.

A good mix of studies and games. Earlier noted for its political and cultural activities and notorious for it's political strikes and fights, however now it's getting a good review in studies too. Good lab and great teachers too. Preferences given to the St Alberts school students which is just opposite. Unlike other colleges where they select only the 99% mark students, here they admit low marks students too and sportsmen. Loved studying here.

I was at the St. Alberts College from 1967 to 1970 in the Dept. of Chemistry. Our Chemistry dept. head was Prof. Benjamin with Mr. Prabhu, Mr. Appukuttan and Mr. Jerome as other teachers. After graduation I joined Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in their Molecular Biology Division from where I got MSc and came to USA at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst for PhD in Biochemistry. I have settled in USA for the past 42 years. I thank St. Alberts College for their wonderful teaching. I remember our Principal those days was Mr. kaniampuram.

3 years wasted !! Only memories I'm taking from this college are a few moments spend with a few friends.. About the college.. No programs being conducted compared to other colleges, limited activities on talent , sports , arts , no freedom for students , nothing like club activities which they mentioned at admission time .. Teaching is above average... But most teachers are backstabbing characters.. No voice for students.. If we raise voice, teachers will backstab you by reducing your marks in projects and assignments. Some of them act as if they rule this world????. Don't get admission here thinking your college life will be awesome.. If you are a studious one who only care about studies , you are welcomed here .. But for those who wants to enjoy college life.. For your own sake .. Don't get admission here.. Its a trap !! Hope both the future students who wish to study here..and college authorities see this comment to make this college more student friendly not just in studies..but in other activities as well .

Being the alumni of this college i could give only 3 stars to this college(sadly) .... the campus is average and too small.... facilities are okayish.... 'they' maintain the college properly only at the time of NAAC or peer group visit .... About the departments... some of the departments have really good faculty... they teach really well and finish portions in time (not all depts) ....the management of this institution inflicts too much unwanted strictness upon the students..... they don't give focus on the overall development of the student.... Only if the management changes the way they treat the students ..... I would recommend this college to those students who wish to study and only study during the course of three years of graduation. If you wanna enjoy your college life and have some freedom then St.Alberts College EKM is the wrong place for you ....

Got a chance to visit the College with my colleague.The campus look OK. Old classrooms and some minor enhancements to feels better has been done. The staffs looks friendly. Earlier it was meant for BOYS alone. Now it seems like majority is girls.

St. Albert's College has been granted autonomous status in 2016 by the UGC. Archbishop Attippetty started a new college at Ernakulam, then the capital of the former State of Cochin. In 1946 the University of Madras authorized setting up a second grade college, which began functioning on 16 July 1946, in the old St. Albert's High School building, situated in front of the present college campus.
