Since it was smoky outside because of the BC wildfires we decided to use an indoor pool. We have six kids with us ranging from 2-7yrs old the place is big enough and want busy when we came around 12pm. We left around 4pm and it was getting busy. Please see my uploaded photos for what this has to offer. I will definitely go back and it's a good 20mins drive from where we're staying.

Friendly and helpful staff, great place for families to go swimming, bring your little ones to the indoor play park, awesome shiney hockey, my wife and I used to go to the gym which was pretty good but with no dress code in affect we soon realized that too many were dressing or shall I say not dressing appropriately otherwise its a great facility. Great indoor soccer field and track aswell. And a small arena for kids to learn how to skate.

Impressive facility, with something for everyone. Didn't get to try the pool, but based on what I saw through the window, well have to spend some time there next time we come. The "field house" area houses a really nice looking basketball court/gymnasium, and the soccer pitch next to it appears really well maintained. The ice arenas are nice, but signage could be better, as we wandered around for some time looking for the right rink, and the right dressing rooms. Finally the Sky Box grill is a decent place to grab a bite.

They offer a military and veteran discount with corporate rates and have nice facilities. Their pool does suffer from overuse and can be on the gross side. Overall not a bad layout, with waterslides, a single lane swim, sauna and large hottubs. If you're unlucky enough to be around for a fire drill, be prepared for some odd treatment with minimal explanation and blaring alarms. I think they should practice fire drills after announcing it as an exercise to patrons and/or outside operating hours.

It's hard to imagine St. Albert without Servus Place - the number of families streaming in and out is amazing, and they all seem happy to be here. With a grill (meh), Starbucks and Jugo Juice, there is lots to do for waiting parents, and of course there is a great fitness centre for adults too.

Great family recreation facility where the kids can play in the gym drop in, go skating on the leisure ice, then go swimming, and finish it off in the indoor playground. Adults can keep their wristbands for the entire day & night to come back later for an adult drop in class or hockey.

Really disappointed with the treatment of staff in this facility. My friend and I had accidentally mixed up times to use the fitness studio and waited an hour for the class to finish (on us obviously). However, staff was extremely unhelpful and snotty in finding an alternative area where we could practice dancing. Once we entered the studio we were demanded to see wristbands by staff which we had already shown them upon entering the fitness room upstairs. Then proceeded to be told our shoes would be an issue for the floors in the studio. Not to mention people were dropping weights on the floor doing more damage than anything. We felt as though this facility did not want to accommodate dancers at all. We would not knowingly come to a place where we would scuff the floors as we are trained professionals. Our shoes were non-scuffing and we were using a small corner of the space. We felt judged and unwelcome when we just wanted to practice for maybe an hour. We even felt uncomfortable leaving when we were finished. Not coming back here again and definitely going to other fitness facilities where everybody can use the studio space.

Very clean, very friendly staff and very helpful smiling, you feel welcomed all the time. Swimming pool is big enough I think, lots of playing area for the kids, basketball courts are ok, badminton as well, soccer fields are ok, the gym slightly bit small and get busy not enough equipments. That is the only down side of it.

We were actually here for the farmers' market which has relocated from downtown St. Albert to the parking lot at this facility. It was well organized and must have taken a lot of planning to bring it about. Not bad a line up when we were there at 1 or 2 in the afternoon. Shout out to Duean at Thai Sab Food Company for all our prepared Thai meals. Excellent food!

Great facility for working out on land, however if you plan on swimming to stay active the pool is mainly used as a play area for kids and there are only two lanes to swim laps in this warm pool.

This is an great place to have in our community, and a place where everyone can get together. There is no shortage of things cater to different people, including a pool, a gym, and different sports arenas, including hockey, lacrosse and basketball. It is kept tidy and clean, and the pool is quite impressive, and great to bring the family and kids.

It is a great place to go swimming, and the other facilities are great, but the gymnasium is absolute garbage. The workers are so lazy, that they never want to put up anything. Once me and my friends went when there was literally 5 people in all 3 courts combined, and the worker said it is too busy to set up a volleyball court. Half of the workers are amazing, but the other half are garbage.

This place is amazing I love thee variety of pools depths and temperatures. I also like how there's a lukewarm hot tub and a hot hot tub. I also like the two water slides. I like how one is faster than the other and how you can go down on a tube on the blue one. I also like the indoor play structure and how they interchange the equipment once in awhile. another great thing they have various food places for you to choose from. I also do you like the skating rink. The only things I dislike are the size of the ice rink I wish it was bigger or you had access to an actual hockey rink. I wish they could skate rentals that way those who don't have skates can come skating and have fun as well. I also don't like how there's no baby/toddlers slide. Another thing I also don't like how the ice rink isn't open all year long.

Wasted my money. Give a teenager a morsal of authority and have them read a decade old policy about only being allowed to bring more than one child on the slide. I brought my two daughters and had to leave after coming here for years. Theres no safety issues with having my two daughters with me on the slide. Way to lose a loyal customer and receive a bad rep. I always make sure to tell my friends about bad places to not frequent.

The women's change room in the swimming pool was horribly disgusting because hair and dirt covered the floor and the changing stalls had piles of garbage. To top it off, when we get to the pool a bandaid was hanging off the edge. The two boys in our group left shortly after us due to the life guards fishing something suspicious out of the water. Don't waste your money here at the swimming pool, DON'T COME HERE.

Gave it a 3 outta 5 just because each time I come here the family change room is pretty gross. The bathrooms smell pretty bad like urine & have hair all over the showers. Sandals are a must! Other than that the facility is nice the hot tubs are hot & there's so much for families to do.

With Covid their staff takes precautions to make sure everyone is safe and they make sure the limit in the pool allows for plenty of distancing. This is a great place to take the wife and kids of any ages. My 7 month old loved the warmth of their baby pool and the older kids enjoyed the lazy river and the other pools as well as the slides. Would definitely recommend this as an outing just make sure to book ahead of time so you have a secured slot ans so you know what to expect when you arrive

I use to like this place from a fun and cosmetic standpoint. However, my family and I have noticed a tread, that every time we go to this pool the family gets sick. This does not occur when going to other pools such as the Tri-Leisure center in Spruce Grove. I don't know what it is but that has been the trend the last 5 times we went. We are either catching something from the pool or the change rooms. Either way I just which they would be cleaner. Are we the only ones that have noticed this or do other see the same trend?

Love it for the kids We use the pool facility and the little inside play park. The pool is great and big. The slides are fun to use and the water is warm. So thats good that we arent freezing in it. For the play park. Idont find it very adapted to younger kids... They have the placetoput more structure with lower levels.. Its a little dangerous foryounger kids.

A monthly membership is affordable especially to hit the gym at Servus Place. The only issue is overcrowding. The gym area is a little small, the pool is a little small too and can get packed on weekends. The facilities are kept clean and the staff is overall great. I think the city just underestimated the demand when designing the building.

It can get a little crowded, but there is a lot to do. I would not recommend the pool if you're trying to get some laps in. It's much more for play than actual swimming. Lots of viewing areas for the ice rinks and the indoor fields They have a smart start program for anyone 12 or older that any to learn to use the gym equipment.

I've exercised here, gone swimming, used their leisure ice, and taken the kids to the indoor playground. Overall it's a pretty decent place. However, I find the price is a little high considering property taxes help pay for the facility. Worth it to go for an afternoon, especially with kids.

I am not from the city but whenever I visit my family I come to this facility. It is awesome how clean updated and nice this facility is. I could see if you live close by this would be a great source of entertainment for kids as there is not only the gym and track to keep up your fitness goals. This place is great! It's got everything you need for exercise and FUN! Where to start?? The exercise area has a bunch of new equipment and you can watch tv while you're on the elliptical. They have a lot of weight lifting equipment, free weights, and machines that you can do on a circuit. The pool area is amazing! Two slides, a lazy river, and two lane swimming lanes! The best part to me is that there is two hot tubs! One is set to 37 degrees Celsius and the other to 40. A hot tub for everyone's tastes! Not to mention a steam room and a sauna. I wish I lived closer to Servus Place cuz I would go there all the time! There's also a Booster Juice and Starbucks on site! Oh ya and a running track, basketball courts, and probably like 50 more things that I haven't even explored yet! Totally worth the fees!

This review is only for the pool area. Nov. 18/18 We went here this afternoon, between 2:30 and 5:30. I was slightly surprised to see a police cruiser right by the entrance. We found out that there had been 5 thefts in the building. It was quite disconcerting to hear this. I would’ve gladly walked out because I don’t trust these public places as it is. Anyway, the staff/cashiers were very friendly and nice. They get a 5/5, the young lady at the desk even had a smile and said bye to us as we were leaving. ???? When we walked in we noticed that the floor in the family change room was so filthy that I actually told my people to keep their shoes on. I’m sorry, but the floor was muddy, hairy and there was garbage here and there, the usual granola and diapers.???? I’m not walking on that! On top of that the whole place smelled so badly of dirty diapers and pee. That was enough for me, I would’ve walked out but I couldn’t do that to everyone else. Then this big bully patron starts complaining that we had our CLEAN shoes on. He went in a change area with his little girl 2 or 3 years old. He kept loudly telling her nasty things about us. Just being really rude! If he wants us to walk into that nastiness he can go get someone to clean it up or better yet he can go grab the mop! We ignored him. A few other observations: This place needs renovations, I saw rusty areas, a bathroom and a stationary water gun out of service, grimy tile that needs scrubbing, the water was cold in the pool and the hot tubs are warm but not hot, the stairs up to the slides feel like they give as you walk on them, even my kids noticed it. I saw at least 10 adults, mostly SWEATY men walk out of the steam room and sauna and go directly into the pool or hot tub. ???????? It’s so gross!! Nobody said anything to them. We did notice that the signs informing people to rinse off after using those rooms were small, not an excuse but whatever I guess it goes with the disgusting theme. Get bigger signs please! The lazy river either wasn’t working or wasn’t on. Also, there aren’t very many inflatables to go around for everyone, you have to wait a while to get a hold of one, if you’re lucky, not a big deal because you can still go down the slide without them. Anyway, this will be our last time there. We’ve been here before and I’ve always noticed the lack of cleanliness here and old urine smell, but this time it was worse. They really need to fix up or renovate this place, but more importantly the cleanliness needs to be increased especially on the weekends. One more thing, is it mandatory for the lifeguards to look angry all the time? Now I need to go make sure everyone in my family takes a really good shower when we get home even though we rinsed off before leaving. Don’t waste your money here!

The gym is too small (can of sardines) the pool is constantly being shut down due to unsanitary conditions.One swimming lane? The lounger couches and chairs in the common areas are black stained due to the dirt and grime build up... GROSS!!! Cmon St Albert seriously?!!! Tax dollars wasted!!! Mayor Crouse please do something to fix the many mistakes they made with this rec centre PS- Fountain Park pool recreation pool was very poorly planned as well! The kidney shaped island in the middle, why? So much wasted space!! We need another pool that's engineered and designed correctly for once! Who goes over the plans prior to final draft? Who goes over the final draft? TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! This is what the below tie vote got us here in St Albert? Embarrassing!

The pool was great ! Lots of variety,the change rooms were clean, life guards were nice. Only downsides were the baby warm pool seems really dirty which is disappointing since it's so shallow it should be easy to drain and clean and the baby change table was out of order in the womans change room- it wasn't easy changing my baby on the small benches.

I like servus place. I usually take my child swimming here. However literally every time I come there's some adolescent lifeguard spraying the floor at you when you are in the changeroom spraying your feet and pants before you've even changed. Please think about what you're doing. If In the future I come here and don't get sprayed by staff I'll consider changing it to a 5. =)

An amazing complex! I wish we had one of these in Airdrie. Soccer x2, hockey x3, abundance of gymnasiums and a workout equipment are PLUS Starbucks and a Booster Juice. Also a pool with water slides and other amenities. So good!

Those new anti-entrapment grills in the lazy river are toe killers, there seriously has to be a better low profile grill than that. Used to be a five star rating but you can only stub your toes so many times before its unenjoyable.

Had a ball hockey game here a couple of nights ago and it was a terrible floor to play on. There were no lines for hockey, no crease, and the nets were an odd size. Made it really difficult to play. The rest of the building looked to be in great condition, but I've only been for ball hockey and I would strongly discourage that.

Went to the water park. There are seberal pools of varying depths and temperatures. The facility also contains a lazy river, two water slides and two hot tubs, a shallower warm one and a deep hot one. Lots of staff watching bathers. First aid readily available for small scrapes in the water. A very nice location. Top notch.

Lots to do here if you are recreation minded. Go auto arena warm and comfortable seating. Coffee, good and restaurant available. Very good facility.

We took our 5 month old to the pool for the first time a few days ago. The staff were very friendly, and we were very impressed with the how the facility is handling Covid restrictions. We will definitely be back!

Took our family to the pool today. Used the family change room. By far this has to be one of the dirtiest facilities in all of the Edmonton area. Change room was absolutely disgusting. Numerous people complaining. Hair, food and garbage all over the floor, garbages not dumped all day with dirty diapers and tampon applicators in them. Disgusting. Save your time and your money and go to The Tri Leisure Center in Spruce Grove.

The price point is awesome. Went swimming with my two girls and the pool was good but the change room wreaked of urine. It was so overwhelming I got gaggy being in there. I would not go back based on this experience. I can't wait to take a shower, yuck.

This place is alright I came from Edmonton it was like clareview and Commonwealth I thought it would be a lot more Grande only thing better than it had is that it had two slides for the kids other than that you're not missing much if you just stick with clareview or Commonwealth Rec Center

Servus Credit Union Place has literally changed my life!! This is an excellent facility that is well maintained and offers a variety of activities. They have helpful and knowledgeable staff that are always available to answer questions and provide motivation. Love it!!

Nice place, but we lost the game. They were quite a bit better to be fair, but we scored a couple goals. Theres a track by the roof, you could run on that. No way you to lose at running. But it's fine! Theres also a pool, with a lazy river, for all those times you wanna be lazy.

Versatile facility..gym, swimming, etc. Swimming pools have various temperatures to suit anyone. Separate baby pool. Warm Toddler pool, lazy river. 2 hot tubs; 1 warm, and 1 hot. 2 saunas: wet and dry. 2 slides: fun for kids without being too scary or too easy.

The family change room was disgusting. The floor was full of hair and dirt and they expect you to walk in there with bare feet. There were used swimmer Diapers left in the changing cubicals. I understand if it's busy it gets built up but I went into the men's change room and it was clean. Just have to spend more resources in the high traffic areas.

Because of covid there is no sauna, no showers, no hot tubs, no pool toys, not worth the effort and $$$ it takes to bring my kids

Facility is huge. Soccer, skating, indoor track, basketball area, indoor playground. Great place for the residents of St. Albert to utilize.

Do not go here! I went to a public game and the time listed was 6:30-8:30 and yet once I payed to enter at 7:45 they were already taking down the nets and claimed that the session ended at 8:00 however when I asked for a refund for the wristband I was unable to use they declined and offered me a "pass" to get in for free even though I specifically asked not for the "pass" but for a refund.

Doesn't seem very well maintained and was extremely crowded. I understand that the lifeguards are working but I've never seen so many unhappy looking people. Slides could use a jr. lifeguard or some kind of attendant. Would be a 1 star but this place does have potential to be much better. Clean up and smile, would change the entire atmosphere.

Servus Place has gone above and beyond during covid to ensure a clean & safe environment. They have a great variety of exercise classes to choose from and a great variety of equipment if you prefer to do your own workout. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Its definately a busy place, limited places for people in wheelchairs to watch any hockey games as long as the safety rail is eye level. No seats available to sit next to the people in wheelchairs which is b.s. Servus Recreation Center is super expensive even if you'd like to walk around the indoor track (10bucks pp). our last visit the wheelchair accessible power doors into the building didnt work and when i went to the guest and members client care to file a complaint, the ladies there wouldnt listen.

Great visit today. I use the gym every day and with the additional space since the pandemic started social distancing is quite easy. The staff are very diligent with the cleaning protocols so I do feel quite safe when I visit.

Not happy. Went and found out once in pool baby area was closed off as well as had all baby floats locked up and said unable to access. Wish knew before went in. Would have went else where. Plus upgraded things, so now lazy river has big hard plastic vents/ bumps that stick up so u step on them or bang feet into them. Awful????

Five stars for the St. Albert Stake Center located in here. I had a hard time finding truly inclusive programming for my autistic son in St. Albert. The staff in the Can-Skate program went above and beyond for our family and we are truly thankful. The coaches have made his experience enjoyable and Maddy works so well with him. He looks forward to seeing her every week.

A ridiculous waste of money and a huge tax burden for the citizens of St.Albert. The pool area resembles a hospital Ward and there's no proper lane swimming. The tiny weight gym is a joke and day passes are overpriced. Way too much wasted space for a facility of this nature.

Too much rules. Kids were so annoyed. Can't do this and can't do that is all what you get from the attendants. One time someone broke into the locker stole my wallet and my phone, never got recovered. Also I learned it happened to other people as well. My last option is to go to that place. I posted the above 5 years ago. Today I decided to go and I thought their customer service might have improved. Went from 3 stars down to 1 star. If i can put zero, i would have. I got to the cashier, none in line except for me. Without even removing her eyes off the screen of the computer, she pointed at the other side of the lobby and said they can help you there. With attitude of course. She was pointing at the guest service desk. Went there the guy said there is wait list. Looked back at the original cashier Ms attitude, i saw her helping new guests that came after with putting wrists bands. It was family of 5. I can't get any answer for how and why did that happen? One star rating is wayyyy too much for that place

Wonderful facility. Would give it 5 stars if they scheduled recreational pickleball better. I work day shift and as such there is only one time slot I can play a week. A Sunday time slot and/or evenings would get the fifth star on this review

It's huge, 3 levels of a great use of the space. Drop in classes. You either pay per visit, monthly or yearly. If you actually go you will benefit. I haven't gone back since covid19, sure miss it.
