They profit off students. Not worth paying to go there. Highly recommend going to Avant Garde Academy before going to The Style Academy. I paid that school over 5 thousand dollars to only be made to feel like the nail technician path wasn't for me.

Girlfriend came here to get her hair dyed blonde, and it took over 3. Not only that, the two ladies working on my girlfriends hair were so unprofessional. They argued infront of everyone, and were bringing up personal probelms. They were swearing infront of my sister, acting like they didnt wanna be there, being snaughty to me and my sister. Such a bad place to go. Would never, and will never return. Such a disappointment.

Awesome price and students! As long as you have the time, you will get a great cut. Got to remember that they are students so the really don't want to mess up. I got a cut and it took a decent amount of time but she did a great job and it's extremely affordable!

As a student, it has been increasingly hard to get my supplies on time. I've waited 6 months for my bella lash certificate and 3 for my lash lift and tint certificate. I've also bought experience tweezers 6 months ago and they still havent come in. They don't have any supplies for lash lift and tint even after we were trained using a specific brand and because I don't have my certificate, I can't go to other places to buy my supplies. I can't run my business with buying from them. This has just been my experience.

I booked my mom for facial yesterday June 22 2021 at 12pm. During her facial I was waiting outside. I was informed that she fell down from the table/bed. My mom did hurt her left arm and knee. I was told that the staff left the room due to privacy issues however if the staff knew that the table is too high then she should have left a stool for my mom to get down. Even the lady at the front agreed that there should have been a stool. Its 3am right now and my moms knee is still hurting alot. I regret bringing my mom to your academy. Worst experience!!

At least one teacher at this business has earned my “least professional of the year” award. My wife has had her hair cut here many times because she wanted to help students learn, save money and it was convenient. The teacher claimed that my wife had lice. We went to a pharmacist and it took less than a minute to determine that it was not in fact lice. Way to teach your students misidentification and overreaction at the same time. I would think that suitably experienced employees teaching in a profession that spends literally all day looking at heads would develop some semblance of skill at identifying pests like lice. It was very embarrassing and poorly handled. I would suggest that review the experience of your teachers (currently employed and in your hiring policy), develop an actual training module to help you identify hair pests that your students will certainly run into in their career. You likely should also do a module with case studies on dealing with the public in a professional way. Rest assured we will not be doing business with you again.

Had an amazing experience! Had highlights and a cut and style done. The students that worked with me were courteous and very knowledgeable. I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted to do colour wise and they helped me make a great decision. Absolutely love my colour and cut! The educator was fabulous with checking in and making certain that everything was going well. And I learned a couple things while she was giving the students advice. I see some people commenting on the fact it may take a lil longer here. To that note, I agree, it does; BUT. ..I felt completely pampered and got better service than any salon where they're in a hurry to fit you into a tiny time slot. Will definitely be going back! Big kudos to Loni, Hayley and the other beautiful student who made me look so gorgeous. Cheers to your whole team! ♡ × × ♡

This place used to be good. But they've been making bad choices lately. Two of their instructors looks like they just got out of jail and one of them is highly argumentative. Won't be going there any time soon.

i went for a haircut and thinning. they cut my hair and thinned out my hair.. but they started to add products to my hair and now my hair just feels gross and i’ve tried to wash my hair out many times and nothing will change. it’s all fizzy now and disgusting. not impressed. and the product was suppose to make my hair shiny and smooth. it did not. not impressed. i go there all the time and i will keep going but i will not let them put products in my hair until a teacher agrees with it.

Not only the service is of a great quality, greatevalue, professional, but teachers maintain super great communication with the students and clients, are super patient and come with a plan to meet client needs even when client's goal seems impossible! I attended this school in 2013 when the new owners were starting and I had an amazing experience, previously switching schools they made my transition easy and enjoyable. My teacher Heidi was a huge part of who I am today as an esthetician and I appreciate everyone there who has helped me over the years. I still go there for services today and the staff/teachers are so nice and welcoming and the students are very well taught (can't even tell they are learning!) very happy with this business and I know they will do well because they respect and appreciate their staff and students!

I called about certificate courses, for I couldn't find all the information I wanted online. The receptionist was rude, short, didn't answer my questions, and her tone was very unprofessional. I will not be attending this school and giving them my support. Very unpleasant, and upsetting experience.

Worst experience ever, took my daughter to get her hair done, after the student and teacher looked at her hair and we talked about the color she wanted and it was all good to Go. The student then freaked out saying my daughter had nits, the student sitting in the next chair then started freaking out saying she had nits and ran out of the building. When I spoke to the Vice Prinicpal she didn't apologize for what happened and my daughter was left sitting and crying in the waiting area until I got back to pick her up, it's sad that we were treated like this and they were so quick to jump to the conclusion that my daughter had nits when she really had dandruff
