Exhilarating experience, hands on and very informative. The instructors /facilitators have alot of knowledge and are very encouraging. I felt safe and understood. This course I would recommend highly to anyone who wants to work in this field . Willis college is a wonderful place .

School wouldn't help while i was asking for help in a single subject. They decided that I should get a tutor, which was one of my fellow classmates, he didn't even help me at all. My laptop almost got bricked and the prof at the time wouldnt even help me, even though I emailed with pictures and screenshots. I had to google 99% of the course work so far. The only time the school cares about you is if you are succeeding and dont ask questions.One of my fellow classmates told me that they entire class including the prof were saying I should never have gone there, and that I was wasting peoples time. 23000$ tuition and the internet rarely works, my class even had to install the actual wiring for one of the classrooms.

I used to love my this school. But they fired the best professor I ever had with no notice and never explained anything to their students. The only reason I am staying at this point is because they waited till AFTER OSAP withdrawls were done before fireing him. They don't care about how students feel. Go somewhere else! Very upset. Currently doing a formal complaint.

The staff is fantastic. Everyone is there to help you succeed. Even in the very difficult time of having to transition to on-line classrooms, they went above and beyond to ensure everyone became very comfortable with the new environment. Instructors are readily available extra assistance when needed. Very compact, fast paced learning.

i took Network security professional one year program. some instructor were good but some of them not according to their skills. I t is expensive . but the most drawback is ; the credit is not accepted by public schools. and if you applying for government job . they also don't consider your application as the time is too short and less attention is being paid to private colleges.

To those who write these reviews on Willis College, just don't put down disparaging remarks based on your opinion of what course you took there that did not meet your expectation. Specify the course you participitated in, and the reason you feel that way. Just don't post opinions of others second hand, if you have not attended. yourself. If you have a gripe, take it up wirth college admin first.

When all hope was lost for me, Willis College open the door that gave me the wonderful life I have today. Its not easy. You have to work very hard and focus on the end goal. Thank you Willis College for a great experience!

Yeah... no! This college is a joke. Stay away from this so called College. It's one of the most expensive career colleges in the market and their quality and services do not match it. They'll take your money, whether you're applying through OSAP, second career or with self-funding, that's a guarantee. They will even promise you a job at the end of the course. But... I've just graduated their Mobile Software Development course and all I got from them was a temporary part-time job at Giant Tiger as warehouse worker and massive debt as a result. They might even exploit your skills and availability for their own projects, with the promise of an hourly rate but never really pay you. [UPDATE: They do pay, but with several months delay.] Again, this school is a joke, don't bother. They're crooks and their dishonest practices will hurt your chances of actually getting ahead on your career, which I guess it's everyone's goal.

The course is very compressed and very very expenses, although the course suppose to be hands on with many laps under supervision, but we did not find any of this due to Covet problem. The college policy unfair, it change from instructor to another; to many assignment with a lot of reading in a short time, with penalties if you did not finish in very short time. This course with this very short time need someone dedicate his all time to study without chance to work or breath. If you complain they will answer to you there is no alternative, if you did not like, you can quit. Thanks

Health care is one of the most in-demand career in this country. I am very proud to say I am part of it. And thanks to Willis College for giving me the amazing experience of going back to school for my certification. Everyone in the school specially the teachers were very helpful in making a way for students success a less overwhelming and fun way of learning on top of your family, work and pandemic situation. Very misleading about employment stats after graduating. Cost way more than it should have for a one year course. Lied about books being included, which you find out about after graduating when you question the fake diploma they give you. To get a "real" diploma we need to come up with an extra couple thousand apparently. They are as bad as everest was and as far as i see are a scam.

Got hired one week before graduation $55K plus benifits and stock options very happy My background Late twenties worked in customer services and have a post secondary diploma Condensed programs u need commitment to change your career in a year. It’s sad when people complain but I saw some students ( u probably know some urself) that r always so negative about most things, my experience saw those were the ones who could not focus on a goal. If u want to change ur career u have to make an honest effort everyday day for a year and not expect to look to do the lesser and except the most life’s not like that. Usually what u earn is what effort u made. Great college and programs if u commit urself and don’t make excuses for ur failures Omg thst person who said they lied about the books. Wow! The books is part of the cost of the program we all got an acceptance letter with the breakdown of the program costs So no lie there. Osap gives us the money for the books not the school it’s our resaponsiviiry to pay it. If u check ur account u will probably see thst I did not pay for them.

Extremely unorganized facility, from the application process, formal acceptance, well learning and even the graduation. You are left to educate yourself with the books that they mail out to you (late) and YouTube videos. Out of a 5 hour online class expect to see your teacher for maybe 2, with plenty of unanswered email. And don't expect the school to answer anything directly. Aswell you will be held hostage to get your diploma as you fill in all the paperwork that should have been sent to you 6 months earlier. Icing on the cake will be, oh ya no graduation (you know covid) but they will make you sit in a room with 25 strangers to write your exam.

I am very pleased that I graduated from Willis college. Amazing instructors and curriculums. They support students and help them get a coop placement and jobs where possible. In a short period of time, I gained a vast knowledge in the IT and cybersecurity domain. And I got a job contract before I have graduated.

The teachers and staff are incredible! From where I was last year broke, and working as a cook at a fast food joint, to now running my own business. and working for myself full time. From the President Rima, to the Director David, to all the teachers from Mark, Michael, Antoine and all the other staff, they truly invest their time and themselves into all of the students, and I can now say I am a graduate and a proud business owner. They not only provide education, they change lives.

Brilliant business tactics that will be extremely useful in the business world, but not in educational platform. Due to a lack of management, the majority of students and even professors were experiencing significant difficulties. Absurd management! One of my friends who attended this college gave a negative review of the college's course materials and management. Believe me, he graduated from this college and has been through a lot. ( poor management, firing/demoting candidates who own their voice, poor study materials) If you are a student, you will not be given appropriate study materials; be prepared to study for outdated materials. If you are a professor, be prepared to deal with narcissistic management. In any case, don't waste your time contacting colleges like this one that don't understand human etiquette.

Great college. Studied hard and achieved my goal. Great job right away. Teachers were good and great. Placement was good. See some negative commmets- some people Think by doing the least or having a bad attitude is going to get u somewhere in life. Don’t listen to them their sore losers and probably that’s been their life so far. Blaming everyone else for their failures. We all knows those folks. U need to make a commitment to change ur career in life. I went everyday for 4 hrs and studied afterward 3-5 hrs a day. U can never learn enough on any subject. That’s a fact but this program gives u a great foundation to start it careee Some expect to be spoon fed I took the network security professional diploma program. Very very happy.

Great College, most teachers care about your success, administrators sure helped me, though I heard in my class that some students who had unrealistic demands and illogical. they were the ones who came in late, did as little as they could and then expected to have a red carpet to a job. I graduated with high honours cause I worked hard to earn it. Got offered a job during my co-op which was not part of the program but they got me one away. Making over 42K to start with a start in my new career. thank you Willis College, instructors, admin and placement.

DO NOT GO THERE, they act all friendly and welcoming, but they dont even care about you. If you have financial problems, DO NOT GO THERE, they say they will help you, but they wont. And if a wage is showned on the site, dont trust that wage, they're lying about this too. Just go somewhere else where your money can be in better hands. When i applied, the job desciption said the wages would be around 22$ an hour and now, all i see online is job with 15$ an hour. I just paid 15k do go do a minimum wage job. And since their establishment moved, ive been ignored an not taking seriously like a student should be treated. They are a money grabbing institution with fake promises.

I had nothing but an awful experience at this college. The higher ups change the rules every day, making the professors and students life extremely difficult. Grading is done in a different way, which makes no sense. Unprofessional and would not recommend.

So far, Willis College, Ottawa branch is the best for me. I have full access to my online classes as scheduled. When needed, all my teachers per course or class are there ready to help me. As a current Willis College student, I am grateful to have such an opportunity in this difficult pandemic period of time in our history.

Began the addictions and community services program back in September and it’s already been a life changing experience. From Jeff working so hard and encouraging me into this program, to Roger who cares so much about each student and makes his class into a safe space. I would recommend Willis College to a stranger on the street, I have never had such a positive learning experience. Willis college is leading me into the rest of my life and I couldn’t feel more blessed.

I am a recent graduate from Willis College in Ottawa. I took the Addictions and Community Support Worker Program and I must say it was an excellent program. I know that during these times of Covid it is hard for students and faculty alike to try and get a positive experience out of school. But Willis went above and beyond. They had everything set up through Zoom and were able to get us online textbooks. If you needed any help , professors and other faculty were either just a phone call away or they would respond quickly to emails. I found the school to be extremely professional in their delivery of services and school work. The staff were very easy to communicate with and to get along with as well. I do believe that Willis has its students in their hearts and that they strive to make sure that we succeed. As for the course I took , it was easily laid out and easy to navigate online. The program is an excellent choice and out of the Private College that do offer this type of program , the one at Willis, at least in my opinion is the best choice. The reason I say that is that it includes extra courses that are not available in other colleges curriculums. So I believe with the extra content this course better prepares you for the field of Human Studies that a graduate from this program will be working in. If you are looking for a career change like I was then this is an excellent program to take, as well as the other programs that Willis offers. you will be job ready upon graduation and be able to start a new career. I am extremely satisfied with my choice to attend Willis College. You actually have to work hard to achieve success but like anything in life , you get what you put into it. so if you are willing to actually put an effort into your program , then there is no way you can't succeed. I am honoured to have attended Willis and I thank all the faculty for their help in helping me achieve my dreams and goals in a new career. As an adult student who had not been to college in over 15 years the task at first seemed daunting but Willis made it possible and I am forever grateful.

This is not a college it is a private business that do not care about their stuff or their students. Nothing matters to them but money. The stuff is treated like a token when they no longer can use in their best way they will through out. Students are seen as money to them nothing else. I really hope the donors and the government stop funding on them as they don't deserve it and they are not help out community. There is no bias but facts.

I think this school is a scam. I was skeptical right away it just seemed too good to be true and so I decided to go with a legitimate college and they have been harassing me with phone calls and emails practically begging me to sign up for their scam even after I told them I’m attending another college. If they were legitimate and so great like they say they are then they wouldn’t need to harass people just to get them to sign up.

The instructors in the EBA program are amazing, and they care. I fell behind a bit due to work, as i still have to support my family and they were more then accommodating. Definitely recommend
