Amazing culinary center! I attend school here and it has blown me away! At Christmas time the culinary students build a life sized gingerbread house. The good at the pastry shop is so good, as well as the sandwiches from the deli. The deli uses all boar head products. And Savor, the fine dining restaurant is spectacular! The have an open kitchen so you can is your food being made. A definite must see when traveling to Niagara Falls!

This was definitely a diamond in the rough and we were pleasantly surprised. We were referred to the restaurant by the front desk person at our hotel. We have been to other culinary school restaurants and was disappointed so we were a bit causes when going. The service was outstanding. I had the scallops and my husband had the lamb chops and both were cooked just enough. The wine list was fantastic! We will definitely visit again if we are in Niagara.

My wife and her nieces went in to check the place out. The restaurant reception team asked them if they would participate in their training in how to receive customers. After the session was over, my wife and the kids graded them with a B+.

Went there to grab some desserts for a birthday, and they were so delicious! The girl behind the counter was very nice. The only thing we had trouble with, was finding the entrance to the place. Needs to be a little better advertised outside. All in all will certainly be back and definitely recommended!

Typical Niagara Falls NY smoke and mirrors, Cafe, (which it really isn't) almost never open, nothing nutritious to eat. Closed the fantastic deli, never promoted it and wondered why nobody knew about it! Idiots. Not wasting my time go anywhere, but Power City Eatery. Nothing better. ..

I am very happy that I strolled in to find a pastry cafe, a deli, a full service restaurant, a bookstore and a wine boutique awaiting my patronage. Ok, the school staffs the outlets with students, so customer service is rough. Two students were rapping extensively as I waited to order. After a polite wait, I interposed, "This will take but a moment". And I ordered. I'm about to savor an arugula salad and a smoked salmon wrap for lunch, priced at an agreeable price. Culinary schools usually price gourmet food economically, and Niagara Falls makes no exception.

The restaurant is wonderful and the food and service is the best. They need to advertise on the outside of the building, near the sidewalk, that the Resaurant is open to the public. Many tourists walking by do not know they can enter and eat lunch, dinner and a bakery & ice cream shop.

I signed my 12 year old daughter up for a cake piping class and got the time mixed up. We came in at the end of the class when we thought it was the beginning. The Professor Mary Ann Guest stayed with her one on one and helped make the most awesome cake for Easter. It was kind, professional, and very thoughtful. Thank you Professor Guest!

Dessert shop has some very delicious & unique desserts but their employees are not very well informed on things like working the register & when asked about the advertisement for the restaurants $10.00 BBQ, she had no information to give us on it. Always a problem at the register.

During the holidays the Institute displays a giant gingerbread house made by students with gingerbread and frosting. It is amazing to see....and smell, sweet ahhh. Saturdays during December you can experience events for the entire family with crafts, entertainment, all kinds of fun happening at the Institute. Outside on Old Falls Street the happenings continue with music, Santa visits, shopping, and s'mores being made around fire pits. Go inside the Institute to warm up. I heard the Buffalo Niagara Concert Band playing holiday tunes this past weekend. A train show is next Saturday. There's something different going on all through the holidays but the centerpiece is the gingerbread house. This year with a "reindeer games" house complete with dominoes, monopoly with NF street names and other childhood classics. It's a great backdrop for holiday photos too.

We had dinner over the Thanksgiving weekend at the Institutes "Savor" restaurant. The service was very pleasant and the food was delicious. I had the Strip Steak and my wife had the Sea Scallops. The bread was awesome, fresh and hot !! For an area without many options this one was a real find.
