I visited on February 26th and the secretary for administration was one of the rudest women I have ever met. I came in and stood in front of her and she didnt bother to raise her head from her phone to greet me. Teacher discusses your personal information with other students without your consent, I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone, do not waste your money. This is prime example of "wolf in sheep skin" they paint a pretty picture but they do not care about their students. I was a victim of discrimination and breach of confidentiality in this school. This college has the worst customer service my wife and I have ever experienced. Staff is very rude, and the oposite of helpful. I am not joking when I tell you that we have been waiting for more than 3 months for a simple enrolment letter. And nobody knows, no body does anything. Please do not waste your time and money on this place. It is not worth it! They only care about your money and when you pay them, you never hear from them again.

This college is running a big scam. They take fees from international students and had made study online. The students are still studying, they don’t know if their visa are gonna approved or not. 99% visas are refused by IRCC because there is something wrong with this college. I called receptionist, they are unprofessional, they transfer the calls to one another. In the end, you’re on hold and call disconnects. Sometimes they provide the emails, to which no one answer. The last 8 results from ECE classes are refusals.

Horrible experience with CDI, I received the simulation confirmation SEPTEMBER 30TH from AMANDEEP (who apparently is no longer cdi) On October 26th I started my program therefore I have 30 days by legal contract that i signed to drop out of the program therefor I called AMANDEEP to confirm if my request was completed and if i was accepted, she reassure me that it was sent and ACCEPETED. Now DECEMBER 22ND I received an phone call from the new person in charge telling me that documents are missing and that my request for aide finaciere was NEVER summited & accepted by Government and that I MUST NOT HAVE UNDERSTOOD & THAT IT WAS ME WHO DIDN'T SEND IN THE MISSING INFORMATION! There was no sense of accountability or wrong doing, now if my request is rejected I will have to pay out of pocket. I AM A MOM OF 2 !!!!!! Two other people from my program left because of the same issues and now they have the audacity to accuse me of not doing thing correctly ??? completely unprofessional so during this 3 months I've not advice of this. I WAS ALSO LIED TO BY STAFF UPON JOINING THAT MY STAGE WOULD BE PAID WHICH IT'S NOT. Long story short CDI is unprofessional If ever your looking for a school I would suggest SHADD, VANIER OR LASALLE COLLEGE. I've never had such an experience at any of these schools. I will say my teacher is great...

I am extremely disappointed at the staff and service that I get from this school. Going in and applying, they sugar coated everything for me, they tried to convince me to going into a program that I wasn’t interested in at all (as if they cared about my future) and now I am stuck in this school with unreasonable staff that can’t help with anything. Instead of owning up to their mistakes, they blame it back on you and say it that was your fault. in my program, i’ve met 3 teachers and got taught by all 3, and only one of them was nice, competent, and understanding. False information and expensive student loans for a horrible school is what you’re signing up for. This is the first school that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Do yourself a favour. DO NOT GO THERE

I finished in July, and when I started to look for a job, four days later I got an interview to work for the CISSS (and I got it) ... Now I've got the chance to work at the hospital while I continue my studies. Madame Balmir is an awesome. She listen to us, we can contact her whenever we need. She has such an impressive experience in hospital, she is like an encyclopedia. We couldn’t have a better teacher. So, for those persons who wants a better future, who wants to have a beautiful job while they continue their studies (like me) or for those who already works, have children's a husband a wife or a cat, the best place for doing your study is definitly at the College CDI because the program is adapted to our lifestyle and the administration help us with all the process. I LOVE CDI College. I used to work for a software company back in 2008, but then my father had passed away and I was looking for a different career path. I didn't want to go to school for too long but I wanted a diploma that was valid in Québec. I ended up choosing the ECE program which was the first English ECE program back in September 2009. I was a student of Joy Thomas and I didn't even think I would stay in the course after the first month but because of her and the other students, I enjoyed my studies and even found a job within six months of attending school. I was also an honour student. I had even moved to Los Angeles and needed to get my transcript from CDI and they were able to send it to Santa Monica College for another ECE program I needed to take because I was missing credits. It is now 2021 and I still work as an educator. Technically I'm on preventative leave because I'm pregnant with our second child but I loved this course. The only issue I had was that when I moved to Toronto after LA, they did not accept me as an ECE. I was considered an ECA in Toronto. CDI makes it super easy to change careers. Make sure that if you move to Ontario that you have all the credits you need. I actually want to take CDI's business management class next so I can learn how to manage a daycare. Thank you, CDI for giving me a job and career that has changed my life and has given me great joy.

Actually i want to give it minus in star but here is not any option to give without one.....i am an international student in cdi college. I applied in july 2020 for my studeny visa but after a long wait i got my result and that is refusal..that was really shoking for me because after one and half year i got refusal and again i reapplied and the second time i got the same result...but now i requested to the college for refund and it has almost 2 months completed but still i have not received my funds that is really unprofessional behavior...so i want to request to the authority that they should take appropriate action so the students can get their money back as early as possible.

Their recruiters are advised to sell you a dream, but it was my fault for not doing more searching instead of getting a student loan and throwing away 17,000 dollars in debt that took me a great deal of time to pay back because I never had that job they promised me I was going to get when I had finished my program in Network and Internet Security Specialist (LEA.AE). I attended CDI college at the Maisonneuve campus back in 2005 to 2007. Their diploma is not worth more than a diploma from a vocational institution which is tuition free. I really regretted to this day spending all that money for nothing. The only job they got me was a call center job which had nothing to do with what I learned at CDI (Thanks to Lisa Como). Most of the material and modules they have are books that can be bought online and study at the comfort of your home, even going for the certification for each module is worth it than just getting the diploma from CDI and as there was a teacher at the campus but was only to ask a question if some one didn’t understand something and that’s all there was no tutoring on place. But any ways I always make sure to tell people to think twice before thinking about CDI college.

I should mention I have had many teachers in my life but Daniel Gugliotti is the best one who teaches Web Design in this college. This review is specially for Kenneth Jasmin Ulalan (Employment Counselor) of CDI college. She has no manner at all, i don’t know what her parents teach her during her childhood. If somebody ask her some questions regarding his/her internship she get upset and try to threaten them by saying she will intentionally delay his/her internship if they ask something or write an email to her. Is she really professional, how could she gives an advice to someone who herself don’t know how to act professionally. There is a big question mark on CDI college as well that how could they hire someone who is really bad in communication. If you guys need proof check her emails the way she write back to us is really unprofessional and rude. I am sure CDI staff don’t really try to fiqure this out by taking strict action towards her, so i am writing an email to Quebec immigration regarding this and the way she told me how she can delay my internship, her behaviour and how college is really treating us. I hope some future students will read this review and choose their college wisely, so that they don’t really have to go through this.

First, when I spoke to the consultant before registering, I told her from the beginning that I wanted to open my own family daycare. C'est très difficile d'avoir des réponses de la part de n'importe qui dans les bureaux. Grosse erreur dans mon dossier après des mois que je n'allais plus au cours j'était encore inscrite comme présente. J'ai du me battre, me présenter sur place et voir plusieurs personnes pour réglé ce problèeme de fausses présences. Ils sont vite à chargé les frais mais service complètement pourris. Maintenant ça fait plus de 3 messages sur la boite vocal que je laisse à Rudy qui est supposé être la personne en charge des relevés de notes mais j'ai aucunement de ses nouvelles depuis 3 semaines. J'ai arrêté mes cours en 2015... Presque 2 ans plus tard je n'ai tj pas de relevé de note et aucune nouvelle de se monsieur. Je doit donc bientôt me déplacer sur place, enceinte de 8 mois, pour avoir se qui m'appartient. J'ai vraiment détesté mon expérience au collège CDI Montréal.

I was once a student at this school. It was one of the worst experience of my life. first of all, my teacher didnt allow us to record her nor provide notes for us to study. i decided to drop out, i hadnt given in my loans paperwork to my bank. i asked the financial dept on how to drop out and they told me that all i have to do is give the loan paperwork to my bank the school will take the moneyand i wouldnt hear about this again... few months later i saw that i was owing 2000$ in student loans, when i called the school again, the financial dept were so rude and unwilling to help, they kept on saying how i was lying and that they would never say such thing. only the director was willing to hear my case and explain to me what was going on. nowadays, people ask me about my experience at cdi, i tell them not to go because the teachers there are unwilling to help and the administration and financial departments are so rude and immature. now when i go back to school, i will now have to pay cdi and the new school... I went to cdi college as an international student and I got ALL the support I needed from the moment I stepped in there. The admission advisor was super helpful as well as the immigration lawyer that they have available (for free) for the students and who helps you with every procedure you have to go through. I couldn't have asked for better teachers that were knowledgeable and fair and managed to assist us even though my program was evening shift and everyone was tired after a long day. All my efforts were also recognized with an excellence certificate during the graduation cerimônia. Than you guys for everything :)

The school is a scam. Rude and unprofessional staff with zero communication skills. There is no curricula whatsoever. Lie, deceit, and zero transparency are the moto of this college. If you want to buy a diploma, this college might suit you but if you want to learn, better go to other places. Right off the beginning of the course, the school didn’t have an instructor. Instead of clearly explaining the situation, the director guilt tripped the students and postponed the start day for another two days, of course to buy time. After 5 days, and having only covered 12 slides of the course PowerPoint, they suddenly gave a week off to students to work on a project. Of course, they needed time to hire a new teacher. Course materials: The books are just to show with no reference to them in class. The real course materials are just a bunch of PowerPoint slides. These slides are either poor translation from French, or tailored from another program. Instructors: The school promised that they “only hire professional teachers”, quoting the admissions department manager. This contrasts in reality with the school’s policy of hiring one teacher to teach all the courses in the program (from communication to psychology), some of who don’t even have university degree related to what they are teaching. This is the meaning of professionalism at CDI college. Of course there are instructors who do their best to deliver the best they could. I acknowledge their effort and dedication to their job, but this has nothing to do with school and their false promises. Administration: The school has zero notion of accountability and responsibility. It’s as if their job is to take your money without any service. The way they conduct their registration and admission is like a scheme. In my case, the school gave me false information and told me I was approved for financial aid. After almost two months, they told me that I had to pay for the program on my own. This has been a very disappointing experience with lots of wasted time.

This school you can enroll here even your not qualified to the course they make way to make it happen. Me they let me start to the course without taking the entrance test. I dont have diploma i dont have any credentials to prove i am fit for the course insted they encourage me to go on and start the course. After almost a month i keep waiting a call or email for my entrance exam but im waiting for nothing. Because of that i scared that if i continue all the efforts and persistence i made will go to nothing. Because they not earned anything from me they put my name in their colletion agency and they trying to ruine your credit score. This what they do for you to pay them. To begin with, I was just going through the reviews and surprised to see that all these 443 reviews on CDI college have come up only in an year. Has the college really grown so distinguished in such a short time or there is some falsity in these reviews because if I take into account my personal experience then I can very well say that they are fake. I was cheated by their agents who took money from me, gave me the college's LOA and then the college refused to accept that. Thus I was cheated of my money. The agent refused to provide me receipts for my payment and further the college did not refund me the amount I was supposed to get.

Whenever I speak to someone who expresses interest in this "college" I HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST IT. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. So difficult and stressful due to the lack of concern/effort from staff and faculty. CDI college is extremely unprofessional. I went in person to consult with an academic advisor, Eric Perreault over their medical related programs. I informed Eric that I have an interest in the nursing field, he told me it would be impossible to achieve this due to my highschool grades from 8 years ago(how degrading). I called and filed a complaint against Eric Perreault but as I can see nothing was done. Not too long ago Eric emailed me asking if I was still interested in their programs. I replied back saying I am no longer interested but yet again today I recieved a call from their receptionist asking the same thing. It's been 5 months since my in person consultation. Harrassment and unprofessionalism to its finest. As I have read in another review, CDI college is better off selling used cars than education.
