Some of the courses are terrible. Student to teacher ratio is bad. Teachers who are just in to teach a particular course don't care about actual learning outcomes and everyone gets a passing grade on paper

I doubted the school before I was enrolled here. But RRC was a pleasant surprise. Coming from the University of Manitoba I had big expectations with activities, but the school does try. RRC has a Tim Hortons and pretty decent food for lunch breaks. Have a job out of my practicum, and really happy with my academic success. My program has great teachers/professors that will motivate you. RRC is very hands on (As I'm sure you've heard a ton.)

I went here last 2014 for their Intro To BIT, Failed 1 subject wanted to retake it so I could have a chance in getting into the Main program. But they've declined and said it was all about "policy" more about money for me.

From all the disappointments I had in Canada, the RRC was the worst. Totally unprepared teachers with the most weird teaching methods possible. Now that I've gone through half way I must finish this nightmare.

Really good school. They provide quality education and really help students get a good job. However I observed that some staff members working in the Voyager are bit racist towards non-Canadians (brown/black) students. This is very disturbing and really very very upsetting. I think the school management should educate their cooking/food serving staff to be more tolerant and accepting students of all races.

I went there today and never in my whole experience have I ever had trouble with the staff at red river college. They were so rude and trying to push me out the door not giving me the answers I needed and telling me I shouldn't be taking this course because she didn't think it was for me. Not only that but there was a girl who was wanting to speak to someone about something that she wanted and waiting in the waiting room and witnessed a girl yelling a to guys all because they were going this line they made to speak to the lady alot closer not only that but she was snapping at the them. We've never seen such rudeness, disrespectfulness. I thought it was suppose to be nice customer service and trying to get ppl to go there not push them away or snap at them. I will never want to go there again after being treated like that

Red River College is very unprofessional when it comes to Student Services. As someone who works in customer service, you should always greet yourself properly, use please and thank you, verify the information that’s given to you, and ask if there’s anything else that you can do for your customer. The customer service representative for RRC did none of this. I do not recommend this college.

RRC only think about making money rather than students career and situations. They are increasing fees without informing to students that already enrolled in programs. Worst college ever. Last thing i want to highlight a fact, if international students stop taking admissions in RRC then there condition will be like a BEGGAR.

I signed up for the Business Administration program which typically takes two years to complete. After a year I determined six classes per semester was too much for me and decided to reduce my course load. The program allowed for five years to complete it and my new plan would have taken me 3.5 years. At the end of the second year I learned the program was getting a complete course overhaul and that many of my classes wouldnt count towards it. I was also told i would have to take 7-8 new/ extra classes in order to get the same diploma. This was the opposite of accommodating. This was a money grab. The advisor told me the five years was never a guarantee. The campus was extremely filthy as well. Sufaces and floors were cleaned maybe once between semesters. The second star is for the convenient location and the half of the instructors that did great work.

Absolutely the worst school ever. NEVER GO HERE. They took all of my money for a course that wasn’t even recognized by the province anymore. They lied about timelines for courses, took away half of the program when I wasn’t finished it. Made unreasonable deadlines. The staff will ignore you and not help you. And blame you for it. If you experience this, definitely come forward and say something about it because this school is nothing but a money grab and they leave you with NOTHING IN THE END. COME FORWARD IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS.

Here is a Tragic Story I wanna tell you guys about Red River ..... I booked an appointment with an education councilor for asking about different Courses the councilor named Randy who was not open enough to advise with a fake smile and as soon as I told him that I have completed education from a different country he started being rude destroying my dreams of building career in life I was so humiliated that I did not feel like Pursuing my studies further.

There was nothing mentioned on the site about needing some specific transcripts (post secondary) sealed in unopened envelope when submitting them in person. They could have at least put that information down on admission requirements on some FT/PT programs. That would have saved me the trip and frustration.

I do get lost there. It happens to anyone that goes to university or college but a polite woman directed ne to where I needed to go and was able to get there. It is also helpful that they have a map to show each building.

The worst college I have ever been. Never considering about their students.Hypocritical and useless student care staff. Stupid parking waiting list system. Have large area for staff parking, many of them are empty all the year, while much more smaller area for students to park. Some teachers here do have to increase their knowledge for modern industry area.

College only cares about the money and not the students. The engineering program students (which has a lot of students) start a few months later than the normal programs and they don't save any parking spots for us. They expect us to pay months before to reserve a spot when we're not even back in school. We pay thousands in tuition each year and they cant even give us unlimited printing funds each year, what a joke. I lost my wallet (all my ID's and cards) so I asked for a new student ID to have photo ID while I'm waiting for my license. They charge 35$ for a new student ID, a new license costs 10$..... And they couldn't even give me a student ID because I need to show photo ID?????? Clearly I gave my student number and you can't tell me they don't keep photos of students on file. I'm in my last year, don't get me wrong the program is amazing but will be so happy to be done with this school. ????????
