The platform they use is easy to navigate and gives you current, relevant and accurate information to study and prepare for the Transport Canada Exam. Their support team was fantastic and only an email or phone call away if I had any questions. Highly recommend their courses if you're going to fly a drone in Canada.

The online training course for Basic Done Pilot is a great format. I like that I can complete quizzes online and also download materials for offline use. Gary was also very helpful with ensuring we had all of our documentation in order to be compliant with Transport Canada.

I did the Advanced course using the on-line material and found it to be well laid out and easy to follow. There was excellent reference material and additional study links that all contributed to me being able to pass the 1st attempt. The course took me 3 days to complete and this included redoing a few of the knowledge check quizzes at the end of each section. Questions I had were responded to promptly and there was an open invitation to call if there was anything I wanted to discuss. I recommend this company to anyone contemplating flying RPA for personal or business use.

The Online Advanced Drone self study prep course is second to none. The people and the organization perfected it to the point that if you understand the information. You will have no issues passing the exam. Through the course you can see that the primary goals were safety, responsibility, and all the good aspects of operating both for a career and recreational flyer. The course was made by retired TC Pilots, so it is very professional, and a very good way to prepare for a TC Exam. Terrific Experience! I was assessed as part of my flight review for Advanced RPAS Operations. What impressed me the most is that the assessors were patient and let me review my procedures at my pace to demonstrate competency. When I was unsure of a procedure, the assessor reviewed it and provided context to it, now I won't forget. I highly recommend The Canadian Drone Institute training and flight review assessment.

I am an Engineer with a Mining company and I do not normally do reviews. However I just wrote my Advanced exam last week and scored 92%!! I attempted it on my own and missed the 80% mark two times before taking the Advanced course. The Canadian Drone Institutes course follows the Transport Canada curriculum perfectly, it is very well written with excellent reference material in addition to their online course material. Bravo, highly recommend.

The people at The Canadian Drone Institute were very helpful, even though it is a Self Study online course.Their depth of knowledge is truly outstanding, given they are all retired Transport Canada Airline Transport pilots with Advanced Drone certificates. No hesitation to recommend their Advanced course at all!
