I went in for a relaxing massage. It turned out to be a really professional treatment. The trainee massage therapist helped relieve the tension in a couple of areas that had been giving me trouble. My entire body felt so much better afterwards. I will be returning for sure.

I have been coming to WCCMT to their student clinic for massage therapy for a couple of years and have had nothing but positive experiences. The massages are scheduled for roughly one hour with approximately 10-15 minutes (sometimes even shorter) of interview and having the student examine you. There is great value in coming to this clinic and would recommend everyone at least give it a try unless you have very specific needs that may require more experience.

WORST experience EVER at the West Coast College of Massage!! Yes I was 10 minutes late for my appointment BUT considering I BOOKED a 75 MINUTE SESSION with 60 MINUTES of that BEING A MASSAGE I still SHOULD have received AT LEAST a 50 MINUTE MASSAGE!!! INSTEAD I was CHARGED for 75 minutes BUT I only received a 20 minute massage-if that! Such BS!!! ???? #ripoff #scamartists #fail

Inexpensive way to take care of yourself and help the next generation of RMTs train up. Arrive early to get your paperwork done the first time, play along with the 40 questions (and then some) and a physical exam, then relax and get the knots worked out.

$33 for a 75-minute treatment from the massage school students training to become a RMTs. Caution: Quality of treatment is subject to a huge range of skill (or lack of) depending on whether you get a good student, or what term they are in. Those with certain diagnoses (cancer, fibromyalgia, arthritis, depression, anxiety, and more) can receive $15 treatments.

Note that these massages are performed by students in their 3rd/5th cycle out of a 18 mo program which means that some of them are starting working with clients after only 10 months in school. This kind of lack of experience can translate into issues. For example, out of two massages I got there one made me a bit sore and after the second one I had a hard time moving my neck. I barely had any pain while having that massage but the next day I was a wreck. Would not recommend. And yes, you get what you pay for...

I have been going to WCCMT for about 3 years now, twice a week. I work out 3 or 4 days a week at a gym and this really helps to keep my muscles from getting tied up. The students are very skilled, the staff is very helpful and the prices very reasonable (especially for seniors). I do not write reviews often but the WCCMT is exceptional and has earned a rave review. I could not recommend it more highly.

This is a great place for a massage to a specific part of your body that needs some extra attention. They do a complete examination prior to the massage and then go consult with their instructor. You never know who you will have so its not somewhere you go to get the same person every time as the students change every term. I highly recommend giving it a try a few times.

I just discovered this place last week and I’ve already been 3 times. I was dealing with a lot of pain and tension and the students here really helped work on all my areas of concern. Everyone has been so professional and really goes above and beyond to make sure you are feeling safe and comfortable. The students have also been great at communicating where my issues are, what muscles and movements have been causing the issues and have provided very useful tips that I can implement outside of treatments to improve my quality of life. My only complaint is that they are closing for a month for a term break! :)

The administrative staff were very rude and dismissive when trying to resolve a minor issue. The woman I spoke to made no effort to help and I was surprised by how harshly she spoke to a paying customer. I get that massages here are inexpensive and it’s a school but seriously, take your business elsewhere.

Affordable, professional, easy to book, offer lots of varied appointment times to fit your schedule, and are a great way to supplement your registered massages if you aren't able to get as many as you would like due to timings or benefits plans. I only pay $30 for 45 minutes which is about what I pay through my benefits plan for a RMT.

Fantastic alternative if you are not covered. Prices went up due to covid. Online booking is easy to use. Term3/4 students are best for therapeutic. If you are sport oriented, you can call ahead and find out who is focus on sports massage.
