Dr.Yin is the most professional Chinese Doctor I have ever met. He is a very well experienced doctor, with over 40 years of clinic practice after he received his master degree from one of best Chinese Medical University in China. His appointments are generally fully booked for weeks in advanced in China.

My experience with Oshio College (Royal Pacific Institute) has been nothing but a blessing. The place has been operating in Victoria for many years, and I heard of it from some friends who studied there. This college and clinic are packed with kind-hearted, professional and caring individuals. They helped both my wife and I overcome chronic conditions for which the Western MDs were clueless. I asked around with the students there, and they all seem happy about their learning. I could not fathom what had led some people to write such negative reviews on Google for this lovely clinic and school. I have the feeling that the 'competition' had arranged for these to be issued. One reviewer wrote that "Dr. Yin has greed in his heart". Are you kidding me?! This is by far the cheapest TCM school in the province, and one of the cheapest to study in all of North America. I have seen with my own eyes, Dr. Yin giving free treatments for some poor homeless people. One would have to be a special breed of human being, to blame such a man for greed... Utterly absurd.

I'd like to give it 5 stars although no place is perfect. As a 4th-year student in this school, I enjoyed my time there. The school does not have fancy facility and might look a little bit simple but many students came and stayed to successfully finish their study. I even remembered that numbers of senior students (Year 3, 4, and 5) transferred from another school. Students have not only gained valuable knowledge, skills and hands-on experience but also had generous support to their study and even personal health . For example: students can take the same course again from a different instructor or as review course before their license exam for free. I had seen so many students benefited from it. Students have also got free treatments from peer students, sometimes even from Dr. Yin is the case was complicated. Dr. Yin also often helped students order devices such as massage table, heat lamps etc without adding any fees. It is a big step for me to spend years of study again for a different career. But I am happy that I made a decision to study with Royal Pacific Institute.

The headmaster, Dr Yin is very knowledgeable and approachable. He is always there to provide support for the students. I chose this school because the small class size and easy access to teachers. Although cosmetically it is not perfect, but my experience at the school as a second year student has been rewarding. There are a few passionate and highly qualified teachers , such as Dr. Yin, Dr Kevin Hu and Dr jing zhang. Plus the tuition is reasonable and there are payment plans available. I would recommend the school to anyone considering pursuing study in TCM!

The moment I met Dr. Yin I knew this would be the place where I'd start my journey of exploring TCM, and he would be the mentor guiding me to succeed. Always enlightened just talking to this well-experienced and knowledgable professor, he provides the most helpful advice with integrity and his sincere heart. People be around and followed Dr. Yin for decades, there is a reason. I have always followed my intuition in moving along this path and I know I'm doing the right thing at the right place!
