Reviews of Rockheights Middle School (College)

This school isn't that bad. Most EAs here are awesome. It's just that a lot of times this school can get disorganized. In the 6th grade, there would be school events and monthly assemblies. Now, there's rarely ever anything going on. I can understand the cut off from school events (budgets), but I don't see the reason Rockheights doesn't usually have assemblies anymore.

My son went here for middle school and he has now gone into high school and graduation. He is a fine young man that i am proud of so I will give the Rockheights staff all the credit.

This is a great school Was a student from 1994 to 2000 Princeable was mr Hoskins didn't like that guy My teachers were mr ed best teacher I think I ever had and I forget the others .. lots of great memorys st this school .. I'm proud to say after my lil girl finish school ar vic west she will be going rockhights then esq high

It’s ok if you like to keep to your self. It’s not very involving though and they make weird rules. It’s very relaxed and not like most middle schools. My first day was not very helpful though. They don’t bother to help you find your way through the school. Students love to cause drama but if you stay alone they won’t bother you and you’ll basically be invisible. Average middle school.

I like my teachers but I got detention because I was near someone who was destroying school property with a bat but I went and took that bat from them and handed it in to a Educational assistant but I got after school detention and it was my first time getting detention ever I have never ever gotten detention ;-; ????????????????????????

It’s a great place but to be honest it’s not like a school that gets stuff done it’s more like a chill school. I had a lot of field trips which is good but I think there were to many. I never even got to learn algebra.

Looking back at how a majority of the treatment was, this wasn’t necessarily my favourite school on the entire planet. Certain situations were often misunderstood and thrown aside as if they were nothing. Coping was nothing but a joke to certain staff in the building when it came to listening to music, drawing, and writing during class even when work is done. I’ve heard quite a few stories from numerous students about them being made fun of and bullied while it was never dealt with. Both by students, and staff on occasion. Though, there are a few staff members who did, infact, stop me from requesting to transfer. Those of you should know who you are. Kudos to you. Otherwise, I appreciate you reading through this.

School has no money and all the good teachers left but at least the grade 7 teachers are good and some of the grade 8 are. plus if you like vaping you can find plenty of kids you can vape with.

This school is not good. The teachers do not seem to care about what the students say or do. I was told to drink bleach by a fellow student, and told an EA, and she laughed at me about it. All the best teachers have left, and it is no longer a fun place to be.

Fond memories of this school, My First, Kindergarten to Grade 2. Teachers were Mrs. Shirley (Kindergarten), Mrs. Ball (Grade 1), Mrs. Evans (Grade 2). 1969-1972...It was an Elementary school then.

Bad school, forces kids to do things they don't like. Wastes money on pointless things like projectors while kids suffer from dehydration.

All of the bad reviews are from students in the school who do not know how to review correctly, and want to ruin the school's star rating. The school is fine. Some of its students are questionable.

Memory lane. Kindergarten was Mrs Shirley. Grade One was Mrs Cross. Grade Two was hell... man I don’t remember. We moved but came back for Grade Five and I don’t recall that teachers name either. Lol. I remember the principal reminded me of the one from the Archie comics! McKinnon was his name. 1975 was my first year.
