I studied it just for 2 semesters and then switched to other program because of my own personal reasons , but I really disagree with you. I learned a lot at Canadian College and would give them 5 stars! All of my teachers were professionals , especially Mercedes ( Business Math ).I have no complaints. Your comments about transferring credits seem correct, however I entered the College to get prepared for my career and not to transfer to a University so maybe for me this did not matter. All of the staff was very helpful with everything. Especially during my first weeks in Canada as I arrived to Vancouver alone. I see your reviews for other companies are all negative. Some people are difficult to please…

Tried calling this college for 2 days during business hours and staying on hold for over 5 minutes each time and leaving a voicemail both days with no responce. Finally today after 4 calls the reception lady picked up. (It was an asian woman with a rude voice) I asked why she hadnt picked up earlier and she responds by saying whats the question. I told her my question and she says the hospitality program adviser is busy. Again she was ready to hang up the phone. I was like ok, and after like 10 seconds she was like ok I'll forward your call, so it goes to another voicemail. It just goes to show the unprofessional and irresponsible attitude of the college. Most lazy receptionist of any college I've inquired from so far.

As per my research about this institution, if you are an International student and want to get points for Express entry / Immigration and want to get a 3 years work permit after completing your 2 years degree, then this is not the right place for you. My cousin brother is studying over there and due to a semester drop he has to extend his study visa now and immigration is asking him to get a letter from the Canadian college, in which college will write that his study will be completed in next six months. But college management is demanding CAD 3000 for giving him that letter. This is totally ridiculous.

About a month ago i was going to pay school fee which is there affiliation school Saint Lawrence college and i had bunch of questions and at the last process (paying school fee) i was trying to make sure that i am paying to right destination so i emailed to school with different information which was my nationality and literally said "I am just making sure before i make a payment" and it was not even cheap so i was tryna to double check (almost $20000) and somehow the guy who was helping me all the process and he's korean said real hilarious things. I told him about my past that i went to high school in Victoria, bc and with personal reason i couldnt finish until grade12. Whatever the reason was i did not do anything violate my local country law and Bc law as an international student But buddy said " I already know what you did when you were in victoria and it is not good way to ask someone else about fees with different nationality so you are not allowed to go to canadian college but ALSO SAINT LAWRENCE COLLEGE" I did not appreciate that at all

*Disclaimer: this is a CC (not CCEL) review* Not that great of an experience. A few instructors are very good and are very knowledgeable of what they are teaching, others not so much. But the whole structure is a mess. Their enrollment system is a joke, their co-op support is a joke. Would not recommend to anyone. Save a little bit more money and go to Douglas, Langara, or BCIT. It will be much more worth it.

I am lucky enough to say that I was a student and now I am one of staff members, and I love it! During the time of my studies I was always helped and treated like family. The team has always been so helpful. One of my favourite things is the teachers. They are so qualified. In Canadian College you will not see random teachers. All of them have been doing their job for many years and this definitely is translated to quality, effectiveness and excellence. As a staff member, I could not have a better job or work with better people!

I am currently a student at Canadian College and soon graduating from the Social Media Marketing program. My experience has been amazing. I have met excellent teachers and wonderful friends who have contributed a lot to my professional and personal life. The content of the program is very competitive. It has opened doors for me in the marketing and advertising industry here in Canada. I first started working as a barista at Starbucks, but now I am a Senior Copywriter for an international cosmetic company based in Vancouver (Lush Cosmetics) and I owe it a lot to the experience and opportunity to study at Canadian College. I believe that each student forges their own experience in CC and in Canada in general. You can't expect teachers to solve your Co-Op or even your visa status...is part of the challenge of this experience! If you do not come with an open mind and willing to put all your effort into taking advantage of the opportunities, then neither CC nor any other school will be enough for you. I am so so happy studying at Canadian College and I would definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to come to Canada to study a program, meet amazing people and embrace the experience of living in this beautiful city.

As an international education agency, we started working with the Canadian College of English Language some 15 years ago, at first tentatively, by sending a few students to its bridge program with a high profile Canadian university. Our students quickly gave us positive feedbacks. While there is no shortage of language schools in Vancouver, our students liked CCEL for its weekly program start dates and efficiency of teaching, facilitated by innovative technology--such as a user-friendly online auxiliary system. Soon we began to send students to CCEL in larger numbers, and the school kept up its services. To try it out a bit further, I even sent one of my own kids to take a few days of class at CCEL. The feedback remained positive. A language school is where you go for a while to ready yourself for college or university. Several hundreds of our students did it with CCEL successfully.

Canadian College is the perfect place to study. I came to enroll in an ESL course and after two months I ended up enrolling in a Diploma. It is a great College, the enrolment services advisor and all staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable, they have a good support network, from the beginning they helped me at every step with everything, they made everything very easy for me and I am grateful for that. Classes are often in small groups and teachers are approachable and offer greater support. It has good facilities, the location is perfect, the building is nice, clean and it has WIFI access. There is a restaurant located in the same building, it is an excellent place to share and to study with other students of all ages and nationalities. I have learned a lot during my studies here, I am deeply appreciative of that. In my opinion, Canadian College is one of the best options to study in Vancouver as an international student.

Maybe it's a good english school but not college... One of the counselors lied to me and to my parents, said that once i am graduated i will get my post grad work permit 100% so guess what, i lost all my money and time for this stupid 2 years and lost all my visas and i have to study all over again. When i told him that i didn't receive my post grad he said "oh well nobody from this college got it for some reason". Also i know some other people who were tricked into this. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody..Waste of everything

I think that students need some facilities such as a clean water machine or microwaves after the restaurant close. The restaurant always have a party and close at 4.30 p.m. but classes finish at 9.30 p.m. How do students survive after that? Many class rooms have problems with air-conditioner, especially 2-7 that is very hot. No any solutions from officers. Overall for the academic programs are reflected with the prices that students pay. The college's location is good. It is near to skytrain station.

I am international student, I have had a very good experience in this college. I was new to canada and away from home for the first time alone in a new country but the staff was so nice that they did not make me feel I am away, they helped me in each and every step for the new education system, explaining about everything , special thanks to Jatin Chatrath and Abhimanyu Sharma for guiding me in each and every step with patience. I have got a 3 year work permit after completing the Diploma of St. Lawrence program at Canadian College and happy working full time.
