A beautiful campus offering very simple, clean convenient lodging in residence halls for summer travelers to Halifax. The ubiquitous Tim Hortons is available in the student center. ample parking. Not suitable to stay without a car. Some suites have kitchens and bay view.

(Translated) It is not a good school for international students. The course is still at the stage of localization. I am reading education. Basically, every time the group is discussed, local people will talk about their own school, and international students can't even insert it. Every time the class activities are basically local people will bring some special local things or games, as an international student you will be like a fool. The most important thing is that the school takes UBP (comprehensive understanding of undergraduate foundation) and GPP (commonly understood as pre-graduate) to go to the card students. I thought about 7 points, and I was ranked in GPP at the time because the writing was 6. However, I do not think that the true level of this school can reach the same level of language as the requirements. The price of these preparatory courses is basically five times that of your formal course. I was on GPP at the time, more than 5,400 Canadian dollars. The Chinese professors or employees of the school saw that Chinese students basically gave you a fool. In short, it is not recommended for Chinese students to go to this school and feel special. Halifax’s Dale House and St. Mary’s are a good choice. The internationalization of these two schools is very powerful, and St. Mary is better in academics and smaller. I personally told you that I don’t want to waste youth in this school! (Original) 这里对国际学生来说并不是个好学校。课程依然停留在本地化的阶段，我是读教育的，基本上每次小组讨论的时候，本地人都会谈论他们学校自己的事情，而国际学生基本上插不进去嘴。每次课堂活动基本上当地人都会带来一些特备本土的东西或者游戏，作为国际学生你就会像一个傻子一样。最重要的是这所学校拿UBP（通俗理解为本科预科）和GPP（通俗理解为研究生预科）去卡学生。我雅思考了7分，当时也被排在GPP，原因是写作是6。可是，我并不认为这所学校的真实水平能够达到和多大要求一样的语言水平。这些预科的价格基本上是你正式课程的5倍。我当时上了GPP，5400多加币。学校的中国教授或员工看到中国学生基本上都是给你糊弄了事。总之，不建议中国学生上这个学校，感觉特别坑。哈利法克斯的戴尔豪斯和圣玛丽倒是不错的选择。这两所学校的国际化都很厉害，圣玛丽比戴尔在学术上能次一点，也小一点。 本人亲身惨痛经历告诉大家，不要在这所学校浪费青春！

The best University I have had the privilege to study at. After graduating from a big Ontario University, this University experience was surreal. You feel so valued as a student... even through every single email, whether its Mount Mentors or the president Dr. Mary Bluechardt. Continuous communication with students about every event and just checking in as well! I was shocked to receive check-up phone calls during exam time, just to see how I was doing and to see if I had any questions. I was seriously impressed with the high regard for professionalism here, what a breath of fresh air. Students treated like young professionals as opposed to feeling like part of a herd. Beautiful campus with amazing accommodation for studying with tables and chairs in every possible place. You can find every sort of study ambiance you're looking for, from library-quiet to hear-a-pencil-drop-quiet, to cafe chatter levels too, of course. Speaking of cafe, while there's not a lot of food options on campus, the Tim Hortons and Starbuck is so very appreciated. Parking is definitely a little bit of an issue, but I would just arrive considerably early and use the extra time before class to study. Win-win. There's always something going on that is student-focused, events for raising awareness, getting student opinions, generally felt that our voices and thoughts as a collective student body was celebrated. Wonderful library with helpful staff, great to have book sales. Great profs with so much to share. Some gems in there that truly care for students to grow in their skill and application to the real-world. Fountain Playcentre for students with children! Super kind, caring, enthusiastic students for the most part. Was great to see detailed notes about the day on the parent app. Wonderful range of activities. Would be beneficial to see the classroom have a better cleaning, though. :) An overall amazing place to study, spend time, learn, grow, and make lasting memories. Thank you, MSVU.

Wonderful place to study. Gaining a holistic education in a dynamic lea ring environment with teachers who care. (That's my personal experience) There are flaws as with many places however there is a space to have your voice be heard and effect change.

This university is fantastic! All the people here are super nice and they take good care of international students as they are family members. This university really does everything it can to help international students find jobs and it offers all the free services and assistance with immigration. I will never regret that I chose the Mount. The small classes here played a key role in improving my English. Because the class size is small, classmates and professors know each other very well, which you will never find in big classes of big universities. Thanks to the professors' reference letters, now I get a job. I love the Mount! My home in Canada.

The Mount is definitely one of Halifax's greatest gems! I sort of fell into the Mount's Public Relations program but I've never looked back. This school has provided me with so many skills and opportunities that will help me with my goal of being in the field of advertising. If you don't know what PR is, or have never heard of the Mount, I recommend you check it out!

I've completed degrees at 2 other universities in the Maritimes and am 1 year into my 1st degree at the Mount. The level of assistance provided to students for course selection, guidance, and financial decisions is shameful. It takes weeks to receive an email response. I rarely can reach anyone by phone (this was pre-Covid). If I do make contact with someone, they very briefly answer my questions. Unless you're enrolled in a cohort which is straightforward, I don't suggest taking any courses from the Mount.

By far, the best quality of post secondary education I've received! During my time at MSVU, I never felt like I was number or just another student. My professors were genuinely interested in me and my success. If you're going to spend thousands of dollars on getting an education, in my honest opinion, MSVU will give you the best return on your investment!

One of their kindhearted employees Joanne helped me much when I am having some troubles in sending the documents to World Education Services. I do like the ppl in Halifax and all the members here in MSVU. They are not just your mentor who leads you to the right way but also your friend who accompany with you until the end.
