The essay editing and scholarship finding helped me immensely in using my time as effectively as possible. GrantMe staff are a FIASCO! Twice they emailed me Zoom links that failed to open. They set up three appointments, one in which the meeting host failed to show up to conduct the meeting. They asked ME what happened but I took screen shots as evidence. Then they LIED in an email claiming they attempted to contact me "repeatedly," when I had received only one call a day earlier. I contacted them repeatedly by email and got zero replies. I have contacted the government everywhere about this. I am literally a straight-A student, too, and was enquiring about two other students.

I applied for GrantMe last year and I had a very odd experience. I ended up declining my spot after being accepted because it cost like $4000 to be in the program, which is WAY too much money and they didn't tell me about it till the END of the interview process. This happened in November of 2019. Forward to August 2020, and I start getting emails from them again saying that they received my application and I qualify for an interview. I never reapplied. I email and explain my situation, and they say I will be removed from the mailing list. Now, November 2020, I'm getting the same email saying that they got my application, I need to book an interview, etc. Its sketchy and unprofessional. Likely a scam.

Do NOT fall for what they tell you. They provide a 24 hour refund period for a reason: it doesn't give you enough time to actually find out whether the services are worth it. My mom and I used grantme for 2-3 days maximum and requested a refund because we didn't use it at all, but their excuse was "we have to find teachers for every student we get" which was RIDICULOUS. Nobody pays over 1000$ to look around for teachers nor do people LOOK AROUND for teachers. After countless back and forths, they gave us 1/2 the amount we paid which totaled over 500$ for a few days of services. With grantme you get 10 edits per MONTH, mediocre webinars, and access to scholarship information you can get on scholarship Canada for FREE. We contacted them recently to speak about how spending 500$ is not fair at all, but their workers say the same things: we'll get back to you -- and then DO NOT do it. When you see them respond to these reviews, please don't think they genuinely try to contact the people who have complaints. They're doing this to make themselves look better. This, at the end of the day, isn't used to make student lives easier but to profit from students who are stressed as is and hope that they get scholarships. absolutely ridiculous

If you're reading these reviews wondering if it's a scam, it's not a scam. However, you have to pay over 1k to do the program. They waited until AFTER my whole interview was done, and didn't even let me have a day to make a decision. I wasted time by scheduling an interview and calling them, I wish I knew about the high cost before doing all that. I seriously am not a fan of how they waited last minute to tell me. If they had let me pay AFTER I won at least one scholarship, I would have said yes but to make me pay that much on the spot seriously does not make sense, like if I had that much money to blow I wouldn’t even be needing scholarships.. definitely not for me but I mean go for it if you're willing to pay the high tuition.

I scheduled an interview for today (Sunday, Feb 17th) and firstly received a text message a week prior telling me I had 3 hours to confirm my interview otherwise it would be given away.... however I was working and was unable to look at my phone and was lucky to have went on break in the last 5 mins I had to reply. And today I got a text reminding me to be ready for the phone call at 1pm and that phone call never came and I wasn't contacted with a reason as to why or to reschedule. Super disappointed, i was excited to start the scholarship process but now I will just be trying to do it alone. Would rate 0 stars if possible.

They will tell you there is a fee in the last minute and ask you to pay right away. MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR A WRITTEN AGREEMENT with total fees and detail payment plan BEFORE provide credit card! I was told the fee was $1400, they charged me $1500. I have no proof! 3. They WON'T tell you it is non-refundable in the interview. if you are not satisfied and wish to leave, you are OBLIGATED to pay the whole amount. 4. they tell you the service is 5 years, NO! you have only 1 year of service( essay editing, 1-1 call etc). you can use their app for 5 years. 5. There are free options out there that do more or less the same thing such as Scholarships Canada. After reading my review, if you think you could win thousands of dollar back from your investment, and you don't mind if you win $0, then I wish you a good luck.

When I first applied for this program, I was really excited but then I read some reviews saying it was a scam and not worth it and got a bit worried. However, this program has been the complete opposite. Prices for the program vary, and can be expensive for some; however, with all the benefits, it is a great investment. Going into Grade 12 now, I already have won one scholarship because of the great support and editing GrantMe provides. I feel so prepared for my Grade 12 year now because the team at GrantMe has helped prepare me for my university and scholarship applications for this fall. I would recommend trying to join this program as soon as Grade 11 hits, this program will help guide you and support you. The team at GrantMe is great, they are constantly trying to improve the program by adding new features and finding ways so all students at GrantMe can make the most out of their experience. Their essay editing, scholarship tracker/finder, and overall mentorship/support from staff is outstanding. Though program fees could be expensive depending on your family situation, this is a great investment and will pay off as long as you dedicate time and have a positive mindset. The Academy program I am part of has not only prepared me for university but also life. Don't miss out on joining an awesome program and supportive community!

When I was looking at application editing services for scholarships and university applications for my son most companies that I found were charging over $150 per single edit of any application. During the Visions and Goals workshop, we explored our future goals. We had to set goals for our career, personal life and health for 1, 5 and 10 years in the future. It helped me to realize exactly where I want to be and will be in my future and I was encouraged to set specific goals for each subject. The host of the workshop, Arry, was absolutely amazing! He was so encouraging and motivating, he loved when we shared our goals and was particularly amazed when I shared my future goals as well as some of the experience I have in the community. This has been the best workshop I have been at so far and I highly recommend!

Joining the GrantMe academy was a great decision for me. In Grade 12, I was struggling with a heavy work load and tons of University applications, yet the GrantMe team was very motivating and I was able to apply to scholarships while balancing all my school work and extracurriculars. I would urge any person who is considering joining Grantme to give the terms and conditions a thorough look to make sure you understand exactly what services Grantme provides.
