Lovely place but the construction sites currently working there take away from the aesthetic

GU Yiqian

Uni of trash, uni of racism. They give student bloody happy new year present.Because they try to use absurd excuses by covering up a plot against a country's students with a dumb mistake

Elizabeth T.

The campus is large and nice. Too bad being a student here sucks

Mainak Mondal

Don't expect a campus similar to Harvard or Yale, but UofT has its own charm. Buildings are a mix of modern and heritage. Provides variety of degrees and verticals.

yu chen

I'm not a student so I have no idea what it's like to go here. I was simply a tourist going for walk and I found myself mesmerized by the architecture and the vibrancy of the streets surrounding it. Coming from the west it was nice to see such ornate architecture

Mircea Pilaf

Old and new buildings along St. George St, downtown Toronto. The best university in Canada, and always in top 20 worldwide

Michael Izhik

Got accepted based on my academic performance. Expelled on the first day based on my level of privilege. Please avoid at all costs.

Gabriel Cavalheiro

I absolutely loved the place. Plenty of beautiful neo-Gothic buildings and the ambiance is amazing. Since many different movie scenes were shot in place, you can recognize the sets along the visit. Definitely worth the tour.

Sonali Sambherao

The campus is really big and has lots of trees, greenery. The buildings are good to look at and we generally enjoy walking around the campus, safe and lots of places to sit around if your tired of walking and want to take a break!

Neha Maheshwari

Campus is beautiful loved it so many buildings around .old campus

Daphne Gabriel

I attend the University in the early 80's and in a Transitional Year program. This was a fine Arts Program, as it involved all the courses of study to pursue a single or multi discipline. I also was part of the 89.5 FM Radio Team doing news and interviews. Involved in fundraising as well.

Rebecca Khachi

I am currently taking a course at the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto, St. George, and it has been such an amazing experience so far! I find the professor to be wonderful, the course material easy to understand, and the pace of the program great for someone like me who works full time. The campus itself is stunning! I love going for walks, grabbing a coffee at the various cafes around the campus, and appreciating the old architecture! I definitely plan on continuing my education here at the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto, St. George!

Bryce Coffey

Woulda loved to be accepted here but the admissions office did not respond me nor gave me an answer on whether I was waitlisted or accepted into their engineering school

Angela Guerra

Best university in Canada and one of the top 20 universities in the world! Great place to study!

Ahnaf Muqset Haque

Cool place to have a walk and appreciate.

Chongqing University of Industry and Commerce

This is a very wonderful school. My boyfriend is studying here. he said it was truly international

Michael Woloszyn (Michael Woloszyn)

The highest quality education you can receive in Canada. The campus is beautiful. There's a rich history. If you're going into a STEM major, there's no other university to go to.

KinG DaviD YT

Nice and beautiful residents @45Willcocksst for students who loves to stay in school residents.

Despite being in the heart of one of the busiest cities in the world, the St George Campus of the U of T is calm and youthful. A lively and lovely campus that is surrounded by green parks and dotted with great looking faculty buildings. The best place to start a campus tour is at the Front Campus lawn circled by King's College Circle in front of the University College (Main Building). If you stand in the centre of the lawn, CN Tower, you and the Main Building will almost form a straight line. All university buildings (& in fact the campus) are not open to visitors for the time being but the U of T offers some excellent virtual tours. While not the best substitute, they will help you identify the key sites and plan ahead and therefore be set and ready when the campus is fully reopened to visitors again.

It was founded by royal charter in 1827 as King's College, the first institution of higher learning in the colony of Upper Canada, and serves as the flagship campus of the three campuses of the University of Toronto. Originally controlled by the Church of England, the university assumed its present name in 1850 upon becoming a secular institution. As a collegiate university, it comprises eleven colleges each with substantial autonomy on financial and institutional affairs and significant differences in character and history.

Isla Sophie

I enjoyed their activity by visiting their Institution they provide knowledge in a very nice way.

Someone is pretending to be a representative from your university to scam students in Haiti telling them they have been granted a scholarship to your school to send 400 CAD dollars via transfer

Ishan Patel

Outstanding campus! Awesome residences! Located in the heart of the city, very connected to any other place near by. Several stations are available in the surrounding, making the frequency of transport very convenient for travelling. Very beautiful structures and state of the art architectures!

Ashley Tapp

Big campus so walking to classes can take long. I wish more food options were open. Very nice park areas to walk around.

DFX

Beautiful campus. The blending of traditional architecture with modern designs is what makes it stand out. There are a lot of food trucks located around campus all day. It's also a short walk to China Town with limitless access to Asian food.

Amirreza Soudi

Dr. Tavakoli is very friendly and knowledgeable, office staff is also very helpful and friendly, I usually go twice a year and I am happy with dental treatment including what their hygienist does.

Henry Li

Best university in Canada, some time just feel good just to walk around the outside and see the historical buildings

Excellent University. Feels like Oxford University within a Canadian university. Big city convenience very near the campus. A British-Canadian post-secondary education that ambitious Canadian will never forget.

Zhengyang Song

Visited there few months ago, pretty diversity campus, very beautiful! Facilities are very friendly!

January 2021 walk around the grounds at U of T and taking in the magnificent heritage buildings that make up the University. Truly amazing to see and photograph. The University of Toronto (U of T or UToronto) is a public research university in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, located on the grounds that surround Queen's Park. It was founded by royal charter in 1827 as King's College, the oldest University in the Province of Ontario.

A WORLD CLASS UNIVERSITY UoT is very highly regarded around the world for its research output and range of courses offered. The campus is beautiful, occupying a whole suburb with buildings ranging from very old to ultra modern. It has a real campus feel, yet is interwoven with the city itself. Lots of international students attend UoT

Cheryl Ng

Writing an honest review BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE. The parking is super expensive.

Shadman Rafiq

Crazy workload, insanely high pressure always, having 3-4 hrs of sleep on a weekday is a blessing, not much of a chance to have a great social life. And if I had to, I would do it all over again. #UofT #UTSG

Estefano Ampuero

Extraordinary architecture and lots of places to hang out and eat!

it surely is a fine institute with its historical builds spread at the hub of a great city

Olivier Nimeskern

University of Toronto is the highest rated university in Canada. They have a large campus, or rather campuses as the university has many buildings and annexes spreading over a large area. St. George Campus is the oldest part, and it looks very much like an English university from centuries ago (think Oxford Cambridge). Very old buildings with gardens, laws and small passages. Once outside of this area, the surrounding modern buildings of the university are prevalent. A nice visit.

Azure Crier

The open university is very big, and there is still a park in the university. There are large lawns in the park with pine trees, so there are many small squirrels coming and going. I feel that the college students here are so happy, the environment is superb.

Maria Luiza “Iza” Campos

Fall colors arriving! Such a nice walk through the city.

Mirna Misevic

Always fun and something new to learn about Toronto history!

Radu Cureteanu

One of the most beautiful campuses. Combines old and new buildings. A must see in Toronto downtown.

Adam E

Hands down the best university in Canada. Phenomenal faculty and resources available.

Jodie Rose

Cherry Blossoms!! They are out and there is a whole bunch all close together which makes for great photos. Many of them have not been fenced off.

Karen Park

Great research institution is not necessarily a great teaching facility! The cost of education is truly a rip off, profs don't care about students' learning experience, and you will get nowhere to get help from because you are just a number out of a student mass!

Minnie Cui

I heard terrible things before coming here, but honestly, I have zero regrets. One thing that really sucks is that a lot of the first and second-year undergraduate classes are taught by incompetent grad students, forcing us to do re-teach ourselves everything on our own time. But honestly, with hardwork and a an open attitude, you have far better resources at this school than at any other in Ontario.

Daniela Kyriakou

Beautiful campus

Ksenia

Didn't take a program at UoT but I'm giving this campus five stars for the architecture and atmosphere. Feels like you step into a historical movie set! Usually quiet - an amazing place to just get away from a busy day. They play the bells sometimes in the clock tower which adds to the beauty of this place. Spend an hour or two here and you'll feel refreshed and inspired.

Founded in 1827; U of T is the oldest institution for higher learning in Canada ???? It encompasses a vast amount of space in central Toronto(including areas around Queens Park). Since the University was established so early in Toronto's colonized history, the city has literally been built around it. This leaves the original campus grounds free for students and citizens of Toronto to enjoy. I recommend the Philosopher's Walk ????

Mary Jain

A beautiful school. Every effort seems to have been made to make this a well organized place of learning. The landscaping is gorgeous, and in the plethora of new buildings lie some historic ones dating back to the early 1900's, most of which seem to be in use.

Jason Lee

Awesome campus inside a busy city. Very good programs available at this campus as well. Lot of resources.

LittleBlueLemon

Photographed many weddings here – great venue for ceremony and reception and photos

Nabil Ahmed

it's very pretty in the fall. gets busy around the same time as well because classes begin. some buildings need renovations because they are simply too old but this also adds to the character of the campus. Great place to take pictures!

Matthew Nowers

Beautiful campus. Great faculty

I K (Kira)

Beautiful buildings and great atmosphere.

Andrea Li Calzi

I found the books necessary for my classes. The staff were very careful with taking the precautions with COVID.

Stylon Wang

Beautiful school. Truely magnificent!

David Ruhlman

This is a great place to check out if you are touring the city. There is a lot of rich history and the building are relatively close together, making for a quick walk.

Fouad Abboud

Amazing tour of the university! ???????????????? Check out these photos ????

Loxley Powell

The buildings and the architecture truly allows your mind to wonder about the occupants of long long years ago who occupied and preserved the space for us to enjoy in today's society.

Paymon Sani

Beautiful campus consisting of heritage stone buildings alongside new and modern towers to nest our young and bright minds and future leaders. It is a host for many wedding photography and site seeing, love it!

Ashley P

Unfortunately the University of Toronto has professors working there who are anti-LGBTQ2, so I would absolutely not recommended this University.

Lorne Haveruk

Beautiful university campus.

Naeem Ally

I had a shawarma here after going up halal guys. Officer dude said I can move my car only after I'm done, nice dude Fairly nice campus especially in the middle of down town. Lots of trees and social gathering area. The loop that goes around kind of sections off but links all the buildings together for easier access and Organization for students (unlike Ryerson) I haven't gone into any of the buildings, but the campus alone in the middle of toronto has plenty of small knook and cranny food and other type shops around. Not the best campus for when you have a car though

uday

believe me this is the best choice u made if u are going for Mba real good professors out there willing to help u if u r down for it , there is always some room for some clubs i personally prefer some private enterpanurship clubs with some like minded friends if u can take it U of T welcomes u . ????????

Alexander Jennings

Stop sending us spam asking for donations. We have crazy student debt going to your school and you have the audacity to constantly mail asking for donations? Piss off.

Yu Chen Cai

Very beautiful campus. I visited inside the university with my son. He is going to apply for the school in the future!

Dan Brook

University of Toronto has a lovely campus on which to stroll, sit, and people watch, all of which I happily did before walking through the neighboring garden/park and then on to the subway.

Mega QA

Great turf field with two full sized soccer fields. This is a great place to come for pickup soccer, as most teams are just made up of random people who drop by. Indoor soccer shoes are better for this hard turf. Highly recommended for pick up soccer and to meet new people.

Ian McKenzie

I love this campus. Right in the heart of the city and a really great landscape. Never a dull moment (with the exception of most of the classes that happen there)

Christopher Murray

Huge campus with tons of activities going on. Architecture is amazing and so is the campus. Nice backdrops to get photos professionally shot. Cool place to walk around and staff is friendly to give you a tour if you asked.

Jenny Ying

Would not recommend. Especially the post system for cs

Bibash Adhikari

Nice

Amy Nguyen

Although it was a stressful 4 years with numerous sleepless nights for my undergrad degree, I don't regret coming here. It was a valuable challenging experience! There's so many extracurriculars to get involved in. Also, the campus is big and beautiful..both naturally and the archeiture.

D Souza

A highly respected and reputable university. The campus is beautiful, located in the heart of the city.

Marjan Jackman

I enjoyed my 4 years at UofT. It was not easy but it was worth it. I realized this a few years after my graduation when I noticed how some of the skills I developed here put me so much ahead of the game. It's a big campus and some may think it's impersonal but there are so many small communities within the campus. There's something for everyone. You just have to get out there and look for a club or a community to join. I found that student support was great. I always had help whenever I needed it.

Talha Sajid

I'm planning to set myself in this University and my goul is to become a software engineer.please pray for me everyone ????

Gigi & Adrian Clark

Great university... Tour are run a few times a week. Register for one to get an overview of the school and the architecture.

Mr XP

Strong academia and spacious campus.

Tiago Torresani

Its a very good place to visit at the centre of toronto city. Its a good place to study too, and to walk around, because of the beautifull buildings.

Martin Ng

Gautham swaroop

Brian

Didn't go to school here, but did have a chance to walk around while it was snowing and enjoyed the campus view.

Charo Salemi

I’m just going to talk about the beautiful architecture of this place. Go inside some of the building specially the one for students recreation is like an old but modern castle. So warm and antique. Love it.

Justice for Nalu

There are a few profs here that are doctors One is a surgeon who is amazing . Another is a psychiatrist. A few are specialist If you can get these individuals as doctors in the medical setting your life is saved . Message me for profs names and locations of practice. Long wait times . Almost impossible to get. The best ppl I their field will be the hardest to obtain.

Dylan

Visited in the snow. Lovely place.

Mohit Sandhan

This is what we call as a dream uni.

RGSOUNDF

The former King's College, founded almost two hundred years ago is so vast in terms of both the number of its many a building, various by their history, present, their distinguished alumni, the architectural styles and designs, and its sheer scale (if our memory serves us, the number of the staff and the student body reaches or even exceeds the mark of 100,000 people). As a quick stop on your layover-styled tour of Toronto its vast grounds could be admired by parking your car by the Convocation Hall followed by a quick stroll along King's College Circle. As a more dedicated visit, you may very well need several days to explore its riches including Annesley Hall, Birge-Carnegie Library, Bloor Street West-371, Brennan Hall, Nona Macdonald Visitors Centre Luella Massey Studio Theatre, Burwash Hall, and Burwash Residence, to name just a few out of a vast number of locations and sites undoubtedly worth your while. Shouldn't be missed in the same way as the CN Tower, St.Lawrence Market, Casa Loma, the Distillery, Kensington Market and other iconic landmarks of the city

Siddharth Dabas

Beautiful campus , helpful staff and friendly students . Will recommend this campus.

Darwin Martinez

Hello my name is Darwin and I am hoping to get into this college when I can. Right now I am 11 years old in 5th grade so good luck future me!

raygan hamilton

A must see in Toronto. Its a very beautiful campus, it can be seen from the fact that many tourists from around the world come here to take pictures and many couples take their marriage pictures here.

Urotsukidoji1

got my BA degree here, a soul crushing waste of time and $

Mark Ebden

Great libraries to browse, lots of cycle lanes, and a few scenic walks if you know where to look.

TJ “TJ” S

This university is one of the best school in North America, but it lacks a lot when it comes to professors, grading marks, the faculty staff at (Woodsworth College) and not to forget the exams...and also that this school is very expensive!!! I am deciding to switch school because this school is not what I expected...professors at this campus must really love failing students and that the grading scheme is not really good. Overall...it a good school, but I rather go to a university that is not compose with deadly toxins in the air and that the student body is so huge...you can't even breathe in the same room. :(

Kristen Horner

Looking through programs and maybe I'll apply as a mature student. So many great programs just finding one that fits me is the difficult part!! This school is the best and I hope one day I'm able to experience it!!

Jason Gafar

I currently attend the University of Toronto - St. George Campus. I would like to say, that this is a remarkable institution. I thank God each and every day for granting me the privilege of studying here. I have had remarkable professors who were not only world class in their chosen field, but very kind, approachable, and fair. I have never met a professor who wasn't willing to work with a student who was struggling. I am honoured to study here, and I hope my dream of too becoming a professor and having the privilege to lecture here comes to pass. So help me God.

David Lee

The BEST university of Toronto campus followed by utsc and utm, amazing professors and conveniently located in downtown Toronto

JM Lopez

The best

Adam Heeley

ARCHITECTURE COURSE IS AWFUL. IF YOU WANT TO LEARN NOTHING ABOUT THE INDUSTRY AND MAKE MODELS OUT OF LEGO COME TO U OF T. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT MOST ARCHITECTURE FIRMS WANT STUDENTS FROM RYERSON. I WAS ACCEPTED IN THE ARCHITECTURE PROGRAM AND THE FIRST THING THAT I LEARNED FROM STUDENTS IN THEIR MASTERS WAS THAT THEY WISHED THEY HAD NEVER GONE HERE. WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU??? I QUICKLY TRANSFERRED AND GOT THE HELL OUT OF THERE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY DOING PROJECTS THAT MOST OF US DID IN NURSERY SCHOOL.

Davis Wu

Not worth the money for an engineering degree. Literally twice as expensive as a computer science degree. PEY is a broken program that requires at least 12 consecutive months at a single company and won't tolerate multiple internships. Also, the PEY office is completely useless at helping students get a J1 Visa. Additionally, the engineering registrar front desk is manned by someone with a terribad attitude who needs to be fired.

G G

If study stem, go Waterloo. Come here for really good CS master and med school. Low GPA high tuition.

Eric Ng

Amazing school, nice campus and I am so happy to be able to say that I attended this school.

Jaskaran Singh

Amazing university. My friend goes there its a perfect opportunity to learn here and explore more. Everything is best also, jaskaransaini.com for more Education is the best opportunity for succeeding and this university gives you the opportunity to study and learn!

Leo

Nothing could describe UofT and its position in my heart. To those who claim this University is underwhelming, speak for yourself. If you have successfully made your way through the years and stood on the stage of convocation, you will never regret spending time here.

Andrew Yeung

A great campus with old and new architecture to render the evolution.

Carol Chang

Beautiful school.

S

I did my undergraduate degree here, and all I can say is that it is subpar. A lot of memory work in the humanities and not much critical thinking is encouraged. I would not recommend this school for arts. It is more about agreeing with the professor and their opinions, and anything going against the mainstream is discouraged.

Vivian Li

A soul-crushing school full of either cut-throat, dog-eat-dog students, or slightly more mild students who study 24/7 and basically sleep in the library. Despite all this effort on the part of the student body to nab those rare and coveted A's, the class averages are in general around a C- to C+. The courses are designed in such a way that, even if you know your material well, the assignments and exams are sure to destroy any hopes of getting a good grade. This is especially true in the Liberals Arts programs, where, since the grading is relatively subjective, professors will take random marks off essays without sufficient explanation. Lots of the professors are arrogant and rude as well. Yes, the rumors are true: U of T is perhaps the most difficult university in Canada. Do not come here if you have plans for grad/law/medical school, because in the end you will work your butt off for a dismal GPA. (I would know -- I transferred here from University of Ottawa, where it was significantly easier to get higher grades for less work.) Perhaps the only good thing to be said about U of T (St. George campus) is that it offers a huge variety of courses -- IF you manage to get into them.

Reza Asefi

Beautiful University!

Michael Nebesny

Beautiful campus in the heart of the downtown for a world class university. This campus is home of nearly a hundred thousand students, and is also a very popular stop among visiting tourists.

Parnian

As an international student I find the website very confusing, so I asked for information and help but unfortunately I didn't get any. I don't think this is professional at all and is such a disappointment for such a good university.

Banshan Marwein

I walk for 20 minutes just to get to this place, i think I'm not regretting , instead I feel satisfied and a good place to be while roaming around the university avenue in Downtown Toronto

Dreamer Nibir

Very impressive. I have to take a higher education in Economics subject. I am too much interested to complete Master's degree and MBA degree from this university. Please need a guideline and an honest guide.

OHohbling Meowstar

UofT brought me soo much memories some good some bad some beautiful some sad but all these precious memories became a part of me to make now me! Love nutritional science and CSB profs!! Komuro-Lee sensei the best!

Sidra Rizwan

We just went there to see this historic building and I must say Amazing Architecture and loved to walk around.

Elvis Azisova

Went around the campus and paid a visit to their library. Amazed by the old school, Hogwarts-esque feel of the buildings.

Johannes Walker

If you are doing an arts and science degree I would not suggest going here cause' it is not worth the money. Basically come for a Masters or PhD. I'm in engineering and trust me when I say that this university does not warrant 14k+ tuition. You get the same education from any other school that offers a BASc in Eng. Like I said before, come for your Masters or PhD, not your undergraduate degree it is a waste of your money. To put it inn perspective you will be paying twice as much as someone going to Ryerson University for the some classes. At the end of the day you'll find yourself looking up "how to math" on Youtube - not worth it.

E Sayed

Its a calm and beautiful campus that takes you a step back into the history of this university. The diversity of students in this campus also is a highlight that makes this university so special. The Whole area is surrounded by beautiful trees and architectural structures which one cant stop admiring. One must visit this place if anywhere near downtown Toronto like Queens or museum station of TTC. Taking a good walk around should be one of the to do goals while in Toronto city...

cdbar Stratford

Fantastic campus. Looks like straight out of a movie scene. Really beautiful buildings and architecture.

zak sadek

An amazing view of the CN tower especially at night.

Levi Liao

One of a kind, the best world-class university in Canada.

Idan Bergman

The university is set on a beautiful campus, most evident during the spring and summer seasons. This is a large campus with tens of thousands of students. There are many libraries, 3 gyms, and numerous cafeterias to choose from. The school …

Not a student.I aspire my wife to pursue her PHD there. From what I gathered in an observation during the Campus tour from Google browser, the Campus is great and perfect for academic perseverance.

Arif Bülent Kayak

My son accepted to University of Toronto two years ago. I would say that the faculty and staff are perfect. Students are serious about education and hold themselves to high standards. The mental health and other student resources have improved recently. The University seems to want to work with students in order to give them a quality experience. Very grateful for the opportunity for my son to study here.

Peyman ADL DOUSTI HAGH

Pro: On June 18th, 2002 I graduated from UofT with a Bachelor of Arts-Sociology. Con: The UofT is using class median system. The grades are not earn, the grades are assigned to the students.

Josh MacDonald (SEO Channel)

If I had the choice to be 19 again and start over, it wouldn't be here. Accessibility services are useless for any of those who have a disability. I was denied a petition against a miss exam due to symptoms of a chronic disease because they lost my statement in the mail and decided to draw a person-specific deadline which the informed me by email. I didn't see the email until after the weekend and so I received a failed course on my transcript and my cGPA was push closer to academic probation. I wanted to talk about the issue in person or by phone but the registrar's office will lock their door well over 15 minutes before the office actually closes, and they have purposely ignored emails of mine. Canada has such a strong selection of great schools and there are a lot of alternatives with happier, balanced students. Get that piece of paper and keep on going.

Annette Dufresne

Our University is best in the Toronto

Rodo

Jist like any other building. Only authorized personal can come in. If you need to talk to someone there, try email.

Ryan

I’m not having fun being a student here but I can’t deny that University of Toronto provides an exceptionally rigorous education. Maybe sometimes at the expense of mental health. A beautiful campus however.

The University of Toronto (U of T or UToronto) is a public research university in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, located on the grounds that surround Queen's Park. It was founded by royal charter in 1827 as King's College, the first institution of higher learning in Upper Canada. Originally controlled by the Church of England, the university assumed its present name in 1850 upon becoming a secular institution. As a collegiate university, it comprises eleven colleges each with substantial autonomy on financial and institutional affairs and significant differences in character and history. The university also operates two satellite campuses located in Scarborough and Mississauga. Academically, the University of Toronto is noted for influential movements and curricula in literary criticism and communication theory, known collectively as the Toronto School. The university was the birthplace of insulin and stem cell research, the first artificial cardiac pacemaker, and the site of the first successful lung transplant and nerve transplant. The university was also home to the first electron microscope, the development of deep learning, multi-touch technology, the identification of the first black hole Cygnus X-1, and the development of the theory of NP-completeness. It receives the most annual scientific research funding and endowment of any Canadian university and is one of two members of the Association of American Universities outside the United States, the other being McGill University. The Varsity Blues are the athletic teams that represent the university in intercollegiate league matches, with ties to gridiron football, rowing and ice hockey. The earliest recorded instance of gridiron football occurred at University of Toronto's University College in November 1861. The university's Hart House is an early example of the North American student centre, simultaneously serving cultural, intellectual, and recreational interests within its large Gothic-revival complex. The University of Toronto alumni include three Governors General of Canada, five Prime Ministers of Canada, nine foreign leaders, and seventeen Justices of the Supreme Court. As of March 2019, ten Nobel laureates, six Turing Award winners, 94 Rhodes Scholars, and one Fields Medalist have been affiliated with the university. In 2000, Kin-Yip Chun was reinstated as a professor of the university, after he launched an unsuccessful lawsuit against the university alleging racial discrimination. In 2017, a human rights application was filed against the University by one of its students for allegedly delaying the investigation of sexual assault and being dismissive of their concerns. In 2018, the university cleared one of its professors of allegations of discrimination and antisemitism in an internal investigation, after a complaint was filed by one of its students. The University of Toronto was the first Canadian university to amass a financial endowment greater than c. $1 billion in 2007. On September 24, 2020, the university announced a $250 million gift to the Faculty of Medicine from businessman and philanthropist James C. Temerty, the largest single philanthropic donation in Canadian history. This broke the previous record for the school set in 2019 when Gerry Schwartz and Heather Reisman jointly donated $100 million for the creation of a 750,000-square foot innovation and artificial intelligence centre.

Architecture is amazing and so is the campus. Nice backdrops to get photos professionally shot.

Lisa Metajovic

Forever will be in my heart, I am glad I made the decision to attend UofT! It is hands down the best school in Canada. Beautiful campus, and great location in the heart of one of the best cities ever (and my personal favorite).

Avery Nettles

I love Toronto it is an amazing city. I mean I can't put into words how much I love Toronto. I even love the Toronto campus it is amazing as well just I love everything about Toronto.

Michael Philip Maunes

One of the best research universities in Ontario. It is well-known for academics and student support services.

Jun-Ying Poon

Gorgeous campus!

Tung Nguyen

Best University for my son

Whitney Berkman

Founded in 1827, the University of Toronto has evolved into Canada’s leading institution of learning, discovery and knowledge creation. We are proud to be one of the world’s top research-intensive universities, driven to invent and innovate... lovely place .. ❤️

Sstossy

They need to do a better job at protecting students and professors rights to free speech and engage in critical thinking. Beautiful facilities and the campus is huge, in a good way.

Eliza Beckett

Great place to study and I like the environment including design. They have many students so Roberts library is generally so crowded but here is much better. During the winter season, the weather is so gloomy but during summer season, this building looks way better.

jacky chan

A world class professional University, with a beautiful campus.

Karishma Sinha

Fabulous campus. Visited Toronto Post Graduate School, School of Continuing Education. The latest profession that has great full time jobs - are in areas of healthcare. Great hospital jobs for various skilled health workers, caregivers workers. The University has great hospital jobs that get nurses a decent headstart . Decent jobs for economic growth is an urgency for University of Toronto. The political science students are changing bills of laws in every province through their student groups. Personally friends with few young graduates. Also art work, community chats are hosted by university students. Enlightening discussions with staff, and government Agency teams, as they manage, troubelshoot problems. As an Ivy League graduate I relate with this group a lot!

Mario Silva

l am horkimg, across street. Toronto. collegt st.Dawtow.

Will Ford

The only professor that cared for me was Prof. Cheryl Shook. If the rest of the professors modeled her passion, and learned from her I would give this university a five star!

Beautiful campus

William Williams

Did a tree removal in the court yard beautiful buildinvs and scenery

The University of Toronto is indeed competitive. However, since they offer an unparalleled breadth of choice, they're a worthy fight as long as you stay sane here. Each of their three campuses offers a unique experience, with 700+ academic program options, and 1,000+ student clubs. Here at U of T, you'll discover how to ask critical questions, think fearlessly, and make your calling your career.

TOTO

Victorian buildings between the modern architecture of Toronto is an interesting combination. Lot of green areas on the campus full of squirrels :)

Miranda Christensen

So so delicious!! Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside

Mei Zhou

If you want to be charged up the ass, develop anxiety, lose sleep and be surrounded by stuck up rich transfer students it's the perfect place for you! More seriously, the school is far to harsh with their work load and with the amount charged for tuition, you would expect that the there be more sections for a course to better fit schedules. The school is beautiful though and very safe and convenient. Every school is harsh but I just find this place to be more unreasonable with workload sometimes

Saif Beiruty

Amazing and Huge Campus. Beautiful University with top class research and innovation! One of the greatest universities in Canada and the world.

Shah Baten

Beautiful Campus. This is located right in the heart of busy Toronto and walking distance to everything.

Arpan Thuble

In uni 99% people are outstanding. Everyday you learn from teaching staff and from your classmates . Great experience here. ✌️

Bubble Tea

U of T actually has a pretty nice campus... buildings and facilities are great.

Jeremy Yeoh

One of the comments on one of my submitted coursework was 'awk', seriously? What's worse is that one of the TAs even emailed the students telling us not to email him.

Risha Ghosh

Beautiful and classy. Super-friendly staff. Lots of events to look forward to every single day. Far from boring, despite its heavy course load.

Elsa Leung

Great scenery Lots of older buildings if you like classic architecture

Adam Mozam Shahin

A must see in Toronto. Its a very beautiful campus, it can be seen from the fact that many tourists from around the world come here to take pictures and many couples take their marriage pictures here.

Mushfiq Rahman

Did my undergrad here, highly recommend their business programs, classes were great. Profs are very supportive and teaches with passion, some courses were tough but if you work smart you can do well.

Gary Wong

Beautiful place! My kids go here and they love it.

Benson Pike

We spent some time to walk around the grounds and they are beautiful. In particular we like the war memorial to fallen staff

.

Great campus... Recommended....!

Imo Alami

I love that place is very nice and beautiful, I wish I came to see him up close, but I live at morocco!!

Jimmy Lan

Good school located downtown Toronto. Lots of resources, and the professors/teacher advisers/staff were helpful. Tuition fee was quite expensive. A good place overall to study and live. I am a new student coming in for first year :)

Canadian Freedom

Engages in segregated graduation ceremonies in 2017! Does the white guilt ridden liberal academia really think that's what equality means? They should immediately lose all federal funding until such pandering ends.

Jacob Levin

My brother goes to U of T so my fam had chances to visit him there. I really liked the campus and the neighborhood surrounding it.

Jacqueline Volckmar

At this point I'm wishing that I had been smarter when I was in highschool. Knowing what I know now I would never have bothered with university. Its been 4 years of absolute hell and I don't feel any better off for having completed it.

M R

I stayed at the U of T dorms these past 2 summers after I lost both parents to cancer. The last two days I've been stuck with nowhere to go and this morning I stopped by 1 classic ave to use the washroom. I walked by the head of operations manager and said good morning and I just got ignored. Next thing I knew I had 2 cops there to talk to me because that woman had called the cops on me instead of saying good morning like a decent person would. I guess that's the treatment I get for spending thousands of dollars here when I didn't have much at all. I will never stay here again after this. That woman is completely heartless to do this to someone over using a "public" washroom. She also stood there with a smile on her face and almost laughing while I was being spoken to. That's real professional coming from the head of operations.

Anand Bonthu

Amazing Architectural monument and beautiful serene place for nurturing mind, heart and soul!!!

swinderpal singh pannu

Had the most amazing time there. Truly a magical experience; especially the old colleges like Trinity, Victoria, St Mike's. An absolutely wonderful place, leader in cutting edge research and unmatched academic excellence!

mr. michaelis

not very good did not learn

Pete Smith

Thank you so much U of T for all that you've done for me over the years! I am now able to have a successful life after college because of your help and belief in me.

Barbara Ryson

Love my uni, but the bathrooms should be cleaned more often.

swamiji Kalihatti

It is in the centre if the city. Spacious. Lot of greenery. Peaceful n serene that ut is very congenial environs for learning

Muinat

They have a huge campus. Finding the place I needed to go was not easy. But the students and staff seem friendly, and the buildings are beautiful.

Craig Jordan

Graduated from this university and had great experience here. I've got great career because of the 4 years I spent here. Thank you UofT!

Samantha Welstein

Always use doctors that graduated from UFT. Too many coming with fake degrees and do exams here and practice like at MacKenzie Health in Richmond Hill.

NyA B

Hi, I'm Nia from Iran. I want to go to Uoft. Please if you you can help me about go to Canada, send me an email.....this my gmail address: Ninarett@gmail.com ....please help me????????

Kemi Makindipe

My experience was lukewarm at best. Interesting campus and great faculty. Lacking in supports for students and professors alike.

James Dalton

It seems that wherever I go, I have people following me around and looking at me in the wrong way was as if I'm being investigated for a crime. I like the campus, but I'm giving this place a negative review because I feel misjudged and the intimidation needs to stop, enough is enough. I'm being pushed over the edge.

Tristan Lopez

The building is nice but the application process is far too complicated. It's not a good sign.

Justin T

Went to Skule here so i definitely have a bias towards this campus. I hope that all those who goes here also loves it.

S chmidt

Whenever I walk through the buildings, I notice alot of administrative staff chatting and socializing, as if they are not busy enough. And in the Dean's office I deal with, often the secretary is away from her desk, and when there is not very personable. I'm also trying to understand why they need so many assistant and associate Deans. Is this how our tuition payments are being spent? And then they come up with their own faculty and staff awards. Is our tuition being used for that too? And the Executive Assistant Donna in the Dean's office sits at her desk not doing much, other than watching people with her aggressive stares. This is the problem when some people are given higher positions. How much does one get paid for that? And then, there is Helen who shuns certain kinds of people in their Department, and leaves exactly on time as if on a work-to-rule campaign. If they streamlined and reduced some of the staff , I am sure tuition fees could drop. Also I do find some professors and staff condescending . Is that the transformation that happens from having their noses buried in textbooks for many years? They seem to forget from where they came and got started. I had expected a more evolved group of people here and hoped they would treat us as customers not students. Other than that, it is a nice looking campus with some wonderful architectural buildings.

Daniel Lazzam

Incredibly convenient and lots of fantastic courses with great variety, although can be a cold atmosphere occasionally and there are a few bad courses. Definitely more difficult then many comparable institutions.

G B

They filmed Tommy Boy here. The college that Chris Farley graduated from in the movie, this is the college that they filmed it at. Pretty cool.

Dean Hwang

History and livelihood all around. Check out Robarts libarary and King's college for the history of the University. Ranked as No.1 University in Canada.

Roger Sandro

Solid Spot to walk around. Lots of nice places to eat around here as well!

nafas Razaie

I like Canada very much. We want to go to Canada for a while and study there. I am 16 years old and we do everything to get there. With the help of my family and God, the University of Toronto, I think it is very advanced and a good place.

philip l

The most high marks are trained to follow instruction, just future good labors, not creative one.

Guest Guest

I heard that U of T offers the TEFL Certification. The following is my comment on the TEFL certification: …

Harry Zhang

Great services, lots of different courses; but there are some SJW.

Gupli Singh

Great university. Built like Oxbridge, and the work you put in reflects the high standards of the institution.

Stuart Gatz

Safe, clean, well lit, and secure. 10 min walk from Spadina subway station and Bloor st w. 5 min walk to u of t. Parking underground not cheap. Park on the roadside if possible. Daycare and library within 5 min walk too.

Guilherme Cavalcante

A magnificent and charming campus in the heart of Toronto!

G Aquino

Always a great place for leisurely strolls. The grounds are well maintained and the buildings have some lovely architecture.

Bob Dhillon

Great academic institution and top tier research but it is a huge impersonal place. Better to have smaller more intimate relationships

Don McQueen

dont go here if you dont want to ruin your life,

Jonathan Kim

Amazing campus. Can't wait to study here

J V

Worst 4 years of my life. I wish I could get my money and time back. Thanks to this place I will never willingly attend another post secondary institution. There was absolutely nothing valuable about this experience.

Philip Samaan

Beautiful scenery with an abundance of resources and study areas.

Richard Li

The school looks like castles and we are even allowed to go inside, and the whole thing is free!

auxie's daily

I'm still in junior high school, but I've prepared myself from now on, do my best to get a scholarship from this university, wish me luck !!! Em, Honestly, until now I have not found a field where I excel, but I will continue to dig myself so that I can go to school here❤️ Good luck everyone !!! btw ily huang xuxi.

Enrico Anderlini

The university is perfect for a relaxing stroll away from the hectic Downtown. It is possible to have guided tour as well on request.

Christopher Peers

My alma mater - lovely campus to walk thru, especially University College

Gregory Saldanha

The best place for education in Canada. Most prestigious place to learn in Canada even if you plan to work eventually out of Canada.

Jean C

3 stars deducted for being horrible student service, 2 stars deducted for being over priced, only redeeming quality is that it's mascot True Blue is a squirrel.

Kevin Kaasoti

This is a center for Toronto Thieves, mostly sent buy University of Toronto, Athletic Center Dean Ira Jacobs , as most of their members now have registered here. Jacobs intentionally sending thieves here to create problem for Manager and force members to cancel their membership. How do I know? Believe me, U of T has a "Special Technic in Stealing the Property" that no other thieves have. For example, all thieves are interested in Cash or iphones to sell it. Uof is interested in Your Keys to sent criminal to your home! And you cant complain for theft ...because they would say " You probably lost it " or " Oh who steal Keys?!" Yes, U of T is smart in this part to not let manager of police believe you, but we have no choose to write it....

Paul Hawkins

A must see in Toronto. Its a very beautiful campus, it can be seen from the fact that many tourists from around the world come here to take pictures and many couples take their marriage pictures here.

A Chan

Very competitive. Appreciated for the multi-cultural background of students and the downtown life full of foodies and entertainments

Hans Xu

It seems like people who rate 5 stars are not students here, so as a student at UofT I'd say I would also give UofT 5 stars before coming here, but not anymore.

Crystal Eve

Great place for a leisurely stroll. Beautiful buildings and the area is pretty peaceful compared to the surrounding areas. U.of T campus is one of the few places I feel completely safe walking at night as a female.

Michael Tian

The place where I have received a real education for the first time in my life. Although it is way too big in term of its student poplution, it has amazing professors who have taught and influenced me a lot.
