As a parent of a current student, I am impressed with the high level of academics, thoughtful professors and well-kept grounds. Albion College is taking a renewed interest in the community around the campus, which can only help the college grow in more positive ways. The only downside is the lack of a good town to offer food, drink and entertainment, but it is definitely on the upswing.

They send emails saying that 98.5% of students graduate in 4 or less years. In actuality, 65% do so. What liars.

As a grandparent - Much has to do with the child. Some want to just scrape by and have paper in hand. While some are high-end achievers who want and Expect To gain. Yes these may be called the Smart Nerds, but these are the people we vote into office. These are the kids who actually did change our way - making it a better world. Doctors, Lawyers, Professors (who have a desire to help others kids achieve), Engineers who have made our world a better place. Mathematic Teachers and Engineers who have already made our life easier. Or the kids who barely made it and have resentment towards better education. Small Colleges are actually the better educators - not as many kids, so there is a lot of more one on one education...

A wonderful community of faculty, staff, leadership, and students. They have spent recent years engaging in revitalization of the city, and have partnered with many local individuals and business owners, alumni and friends to bring about lasting positive change. An good place to work, though salaries are lower than competitive schools. The local cost of living is low, and real estate is available.

I chose Albion College in 1964 after a tour that left me excited by what I heard and saw. As I look at pictures online I realize that the atmosphere is still one of permanence as seen in brick buildings, huge trees and even The Rock. The enrollment was only 1500, class sizes I remember were as big as 100 and as small as 6. I felt like the professors wanted us to succeed and when I got bogged down by circumstances they were there for me. I have taken a virtual tour online and it still feels like a place I would send my great granddaughter in 20 years. I did not graduate from there but the foundation was laid for continuing my education elsewhere with academic success.

Great place to waste money and derail your chance of ever getting hired. I know, I know...college is not about getting a job, except that it is, especially if you have to pay off student loans. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS FAILING INSTITUTION. Go to Michigan State or Univ of Michigan or don't go to college. There...I just saved you four wasted years and what would be the biggest mistake of your life.

It’s a great place but way behind the times when it comes to Diversity and Inclusion. I personally endured and witnessed how people of color are treated and when brought to the attention of higher ups ….it was dismissed!

Great job Albion going to the basketball finals! Great school and traditions. Loved the years there and coming back to see the beautiful campus. Albion prepared me well for a career and I’m so proud my daughter is going there and getting a degree in psychology. Go Brits!
