Complete scam! The "instructors" had no idea what they were teaching. I was the one to discover I had the wrong books, not the school. I was never told i had to pay for my exams, while paying for the education. I was also never told that the certificates I would obtain expire every three years... Now I'm stuck with a $28000 loan and no certifications... 9 and half years of payments for nothing... This company should be ashamed of they do.

I felt they really went the extra mile to show they cared about my needs as a students on the path to success, and it's really paid off!

Terrible college! The academic advisor Meira Larose degrades her students with her instructor buddy lpn Trina Loring. Trina tries assessing students, (with no doctorate) with mental disorders. She picks one student from each class to degrade and bully till they are forced to quit. Not to mention her terrible attitude and cocky demeanor for a healthcare, bedside manner, and team playing. I watched one girl go on escitalopram when she didn't have generalized anxiety. That was because of how hard this lpn degraded her and made her believe something was wrong with her. Then, Meira and Trina made the student sign a contract agreeing to terms to withdrawal from the course. To note- this student abiding by all the rules associated with this college and was an active, reliable student who took initiative.

Great School!! It was close to home, a smaller class setting and made some pretty cool friends. I felt I was paid attention to when I needed any help on something. I just graduated last July. They are still helping me with my job search. Highly recommended this College.

This campus is amazing, work on your own schedule for the most part! The girls on campus are very helpful and accommodating! They will go above and beyond to help while and after your graduation! Education is always a good thing but where you choose to go has to fit your already busy schedule. For myself, this was the perfect fit! Thank you ladies your the best!

Was Very nervous to go back to school again, however, they made me feel like I was worth their time and helped me in every way. The staff were absolutely wonderful right from day one. Through out my course they were always a phone call away and they never left you waiting. If I ever need to go back to school again, I guarantee Academy of Learning will be my go to. I agree with the comment above. We did a bunch of work for them and then old owner said to talk to the new owner and the new owner said to sue them. They now show our work on their website and said they would sue US if we try to get it back. Thieves.

in my opinion do not sign up with this college , I found them to be unprofessional not caring and did not get to much out of it, not to mention these are super expensive money makers if you plan to return to school I suggest strongly go to Okanagan college or a real school do not sign up with these liars

I visited the Academy of Excellence recently for a haircut and one of the students cut my hair and then the final touch was done by the instructor (Tony) which was exactly what I wanted. Tony is second to none in Victoria and his experience in this industry makes him the best.

Christina has always been polite personable respectful and accommodating as well as the rest of the staff here at the kelowna campus. I would recommend the Academy of Learning Career College. My personal experience was very rewarding. I found the staff to be very helpful and supportive. I did the Community Service Worker Diploma Program in the end I opted to take the Capstone Project. That was very rewarding as it gave me more of an opportunity to research available resources which are key in this industry. I learned more about myself and what my interests were and my strengths and weaknesses. I researched three possible populations that I might like to work with. I learned so much about each one of them. I am very pleased with the outcome of this program and look forward to going through each and everyone of the doors that it has opened for me. Thank you to the Kamloops staff of the Academy of Learning Career College.
