I came to Onatrio with eleven years of CDL A experience with the thought that I would be able to switch my license with minimal problems. Wrong $750 later and $6,000 of lost wages later. Well I finally recieved my AZ, only after having to pay an overbook fee of $45. When I payed that fee I asked "so my appointment will be on time"? They replied yes you will be testing at 130pm. They finally tested me at 300pm this showes me that we are only cash cows. Funny they charged me for appointment punctuality then in the same day failed to keep their appointment time. This led me to give my card to the cashier after the test and ask for $45 for late appointment fee back. Yup didn't get the cash back hmmmm imagine that? Well they are at it again my daughter is now in the work force and needs a F license to continue as a parimedic in the Chatham Kent County. She has been in to take the test three times without even stepping in to the emergency vehicle. She is now out $270 for appointment fees. Are we done yet nope she also lost three days of work wages which is worth $360. She has delt with the same person each time which you would think they would try make it easy for a person that is a necessity to the health and wellbeing of the community to futher their career. No the lady wouldn't even tell my daughter everything that she needs to succed at passing the road test, the paper work and the proper stickers would be nice to know before showing up and getting raped for what little money she has. My daughter will have to try again and pay more money to advance her career. Get it together Drivewise! Either you are not organized and want to see your CUSTOMERS succeed or you are trying to take every single dollar that your CUSTOMERS have to fill your corporate pockets? Which is it Drivewise are going to do the right thing or continue to rape the workforce of Chatham Kent?

A big THANK YOU to Drivewise, CHATHAM I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the support, encouragement and service I received from Drivewise, Chatham. The staff is AWESOME and the instructors, AMAZING! This might sound like hyperbole but it’s the honest truth. The proof is in the fact that despite my enormous nervousness almost to the point of paranoia (I felt nauseated just at the thought of an exam – a particular condition I’ve suffered since school years), Drivewise managed to help me overcome this affliction and I passed my driving exam last Thursday 21st November, 2019 – yippee! It began with my positive interaction with staff member, EMMA who aligned me with DAN, the instructor. Dan is a man of many talents but in particular, he’s endued with a vast amount of patience and understanding. Dan is one of the few people I’ve met in my life (and yes, I’ve met many since I’m 65 years old!) who has the ability to correct without criticizing. Bearing in mind that one’s life is on the line with every new driver, it’s impressive that Dan is able to remain so calm and collected. When Emma was not at work staff member, CINDY was there to carry on the pleasantries to enable me to feel relaxed but even more importantly, to build the confidence I needed that I could pass the MTO Exam. Both Emma and Cindy were convinced that if Dan thought I could do it successfully, then it “must be so”. This was sufficient to alleviate a lot of my anxiety. In addition, Dan has a secret strategy that he shares with all his nervous students. If you want to know what that is and you need to get your MTO Driver’s Licence, take your driving lessons at Drivewise, Chatham, you will be well-rewarded. They are reasonably priced and in any event, it’s not about the money. For instance, even though I insisted on taking an extra lesson, they had all stated I did not need to do so. That approach alone says it all. This review might be long due to the euphoria I still carry since passing the MTO Driver’s Exam which was a big step for me as the need for independence was great. Yet, I cannot overstate the help and excellent service I received from Drivewise, Chatham. Therefore, I reiterate a big THANK YOU to Emma, Cindy and Dan; I will be forever indebted to you guys. : )

The instructors are unprofessional and rude. They look down upon their students and judge them when they are vulnerable trying to learn. The prices are ridiculous, overall bad experience.

I passed my G driving test!!! DriveWise's Richard Vandenborn is the best driving instructor I have ever had! He knows how to direct you and teach you so that you increase confidence in your abilities. He has the easiest method for learning how to parallel park and I feel that my driving skills are now superior to what they were before (see below for explanation). Thank you so much Richard! DriveWise staff on a whole are very sincere and helpful - Emma is a sweetheart - and their prices are very reasonable. I took 6 lessons with them and used their car for my test. I only needed 6 lessons because I used to drive for many years but let my license expire because I did not need it for a while. I was unaware that if your license has been expired for 3 years you have to resit the G test. My advice to Torontonians and other city dwellers, don't let your license expire to save money, it could end up costing you more hassle and money in the long run!
