Kept clean well, good professors and decent food. However security is rather lacking and much damage is caused at the students expense as a result of it.

Killed the skate park. Either I'm not good enough or it's too small for bmx.

This beautiful campus in Nova Scotia allows you to take in the Nova Scotian beauty while getting a world class education that's outside of the city. It's a very tight knit community with good dorm facilities and apart of a small little town. Great if you want to get into nature regularly and boasting some lovely views of the Bay of Fundy!

A stunning campus with an old European style buildings. This beautiful campus sits in the heart of a Wolfville, a quaint town that boast it's natural beauty. The town hosts a variety of wonderful little shops and a few great taverns/restaurants, bars, wineries, and fantastic brewery.

Like many universities today, Acadia is staffed by fascist oppressors. They believe in free speech, sure, but only if you agree with them. As it is everywhere today, they want us all to play pretend with the truth. Shameful, just shameful.

A review from someone who went to school here: Unlike most of the reviewers on here, I didn’t just take a stroll through campus. Wolfville is in fact an amazing town. It has everything and the people are great; but Acadia definitely benefits from this. If you think that going to a smaller school with smaller classes and a more personal approach to learning will benefit you than rethink your strategy. This school is just like every other university. The profs don’t care and the admin care even less. Every inquiry I’ve had with administration just got passed on to someone else and no one who works here has any idea what’s going on. Pick the school you attend based on the city, because I promise no matter what university you go to, it will be the same everywhere. You are just a number regardless of its size.

The school bans students from entering buildings they pay over 2500 a month for a 8x12 room they are being abused and ripped off the reps think they're law enforcement and they don't seem to realise MJ is legal now. If you have a normal child don't send them here

As a faculty member in the Dept. of Psychology, this is what I have to say to potential students (and, if relevant, their parents): If you are pursuing an education outside of STEM, don't come to Acadia or any other university unless you can be given evidence that you will be exposed to a range of perspectives and told to decide for yourself what is the best way for you to contribute to society. These days, universities (including Acadia) are committing themselves to social justice, which means that you'll be exposed to a limited range of perspectives; this in turn will limit what you can contribute to society.

There is so much wrong with this institution. The sociology professor "Dr." Dahringer is unqualified, meal hall is overpriced for what it is, residence is a scam that will charge you for every penny you're worth, the student body is arrogant and obnoxious, and lastly when I tried to get my transcript from the university after leaving they never got it to me. Whatever they tell you about the place is a lie and all that you see is an illusion. Its a money grabbing institution that does not care about their students rather the money in their pockets. My advice is to look elsewhere for an education and think twice about Acadia. The reason I am going out of my way to write this is because I was cut from the football team for whatever reason the coach had. Student athletes are treated as a product, not a person. I was cut in the middle of the summer, long after training camp was over. I had no chance to cancel my lease, collect my belongings, and most importantly transfer programs to another school. Bottom line is Acadia does not care about you. Do not go there.

Acadia University should be ashamed of the immature and trashy behavior of their students on Oct 16,if you want to call them students. The word idiots comes to mind and all should have been suspended for the year ,or until they can grow up .

I lived in wolfville years ago yet Acadia students are so rude that even today a bad taste lingers in my mouth. Not all of them, mostly just those amongst the athletic community. I had never encountered stereotypical jocks before in my life. I always assumed the worst ones were American, but who knows. It's a shame that such a beautiful town is burdened with a bunch of spoiled and entitled troglodytes.
