I came to this school for a one year program and loved it so much that now I'm in my third year out of four. The community is amazing and so many strong relationships are built. Classes are fun and teach me so much. The professors are amazing, as they are super knowledgable and genuinely care about us as students and people. Having smaller class sizes also really helps with all of this. Overall, my time at Heritage has been an amazing place to learn more about God and the Bible and to make great friendships.

Josiah Rock

Great staff and faculty. As a student here I have learned so much from the very knowledgeable professors and experienced personal growth through the caring community that all staff, faculty, and students contribute to. The academic quality here is incredible, and the fact that I get to learn under some of the best men and women that Canada has to offer is mind-blowing. I cannot recommend Heritage highly enough!

The school caters well to part time students who are looking to expand their theological studies but have other commitments.

I am going to Heritage because they teach the gospel and they believe the Bible is the inerrant, infallible, Word of God.

Kevin Presseault

Great staff and faculty.

I am a 2nd yr Seminary Student, and I returned back to school at age 36, fourteen years after completing an undergrad from Laurier. To say I was nervous about going back to school would be an understatement. But those apprehensions were erased on the first day of classes after meeting the faculty and fellow students. Everyone (teachers, staff, students), have a genuine interest in seeing folks do well and succeed. I have grown so much over the past year and a half, and I look forward to learning and growing more. The campus is fantastic and quite beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and provide a nice place to study or read outdoors. The facilities are great, and I have made good use out of the library, the hardwood basketball court, and well-stocked fitness/weight room. I was willing to attend a seminary anywhere in Canada, but I chose Heritage and would make the same decision again if given the opportunity. The Cities of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo are great places to live with lots of places for eating and entertainment.

A great place to deepen your understanding of the Bible and look at how God is working in the world today. Also, a great place to gain practical ministry skills, and develop a plan for life. Taking one year at Heritage will help you with the rest of your life.

Emma Denney

My experience at Heritage College and Seminary has been amazing! The staff are very friendly and caring for the students. Heritage is a school that strives to see students succeed not only in academics but also in their careers in ministry.

I have been attending Heritage College for a short period of time, but man has this been the best year of my life so far. I have been challenged in my thinking and I have met people here that now feel like family! The staff is incredible and they show that they care for the students. I am so glad that I have found Heritage because now it feels like home. I would 100% recommend this school to anyone not just because of the academics or the community life (even though both are FANTASTIC), I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to work on their relationship with God, who is broken, who is lost, and need to find a way. And that is exactly how I was and now I am thriving

Miranda King

I have been blessed both academically and spiritually by the God-glorifying community at Heritage.

Heritage is an excellent choice for those who are considering bible college out of high school or who are wanting to expand their theological knowledge in seminary. The professors (and staff in general) have all bought into one of the school's strengths - fostering genuine student/staff relationships that mirror the kind of expression each student would hopefully one day be able to express in service of the Church. Heritage's various learning formats (weekly, online, module and multi-modal) have made obtaining a theological degree highly accessible to those who are already working, needing to take things a bit slower, or who are remote. If you're considering a theological education, Heritage is worth checking out.

Currently enrolled in a certificate in Christian Studies program. I love that I am able to do the entire program at distance. The college is in Cambridge. I live in Ottawa. The staff and faculty have been more than gracious with my requests and communication needs as I study at distance. The quality of the audio/video and supplemental material is incredible. All of my text books are easily found at the bookstore. They even ship them to my house! I love what I'm learning! This is definitely top quality evangelical higher-education. Thank you Heritage for all you're doing to invest in the global church by providing quality education and training for those of us who have dedicated our lives to the mission of the Lord.

Staff and Faculty are there for all the students. The community here at Heritage has been one that I love dearly. I've really loved getting to know the people here and making new friends. I have enjoyed the fellowship and getting to know the people within this community specifically. This place is one that I cherish dearly

Heritage is such a wonderful school and community of people. I am surrounded by students and faculty who all share a deep love for the Lord and for His Word. They see each other as not just friends, but family. The classes are engaging and challenging. I am enjoying every minute and the year is going by much too fast.

Adriana Van Den Boogaard LDS

As a new student of Heritage College and Seminary, I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn through distance learning. Because I am unable to attend school full time, distance learning was a fantastic option for me. My professor marks my assignments in a timely manner and responds with positive criticism and encouragement.

Thomas Telfer

Seminary education that has been academically rigorous without stripping faith down to a bare academic discipline. Thank you Heritage, I've learned theology and practice, how to both STUDY and SERVE.

Elizabeth Reda

I'm a recent graduate of Heritage. I attended Heritage initially for one year, but grew to love the teaching and community so much that I enrolled in a full four-year Bachelors degree in music. As a music student, I enjoyed the time I spent on the chapel teams for 3 out of my 4 years! I've built friendships from Heritage that I'm sure will last me a lifetime.

Heritage is certainly a premier choice for theological education in Canada. The faculty members go far beyond what you would expect. They not only are quality scholars, but are very caring people who all have sincere pastoral hearts. This creates such a wonderful learning environment. This place will challenge you in many ways. It's evident that preparation for ministry is at the forefront of everything they do here. I would strongly recommend considering Heritage for your studies. Students in the seminary are of all ages. Whether you are fresh out of undergrad or stepping into ministry after a career in another vocation, you will find yourself at home. Some students are sitting pastors with years of experience and some are young people just trying to figure things out. You will find that learning and equipping here for Christian ministry happens far beyond the classroom. I hope that every person who takes the gospel of Jesus Christ seriously has the opportunity to study here.

Awesome school!

Charlie Lyons

High calibre, Biblical higher education. Caring faculty, family atmosphere, and a welcoming environment for learning.

Brett King

I've been apart of this school as a student in both the college and seminary and it's been great! The school has the benefits of both a large and small community. The faculty and administration are professional, attentive, punctual and respectful. They are still approachable, generous and flexible too.

Megan Nickerson

Love the community here and felt so welcomed on my first day. Everyone here - students, teachers, and faculty alike - are all so so friendly and just overall amazing! And the awesome experiences made here...going to Carnegie Hall and performing with the choir was more than I had ever dreamed! <3

Daniel Scott

I am currently a seminary student working on my MDiv. and have thoroughly enjoyed my education here thus far! The community is fantastic in both discussion and support. The teaching faculty don't just know the Word of God (which they do thoroughly), but love God and His Word and are committed to training men and women with excellence and passion! They don't "just teach" but invest into the lives of the students, encouraging us to grow in our relationship with Christ through our studies. The administrative and support staff are friendly, flexible, and helpful with any logistical concerns that need to be dealt with. Great school who holds God's Word above all else in order to glorify Him!

Hope Ecker

Coming to Heritage has been such a blessing to me! The staff and faculty is amazing in supporting and helping students in their time at Heritage. The community is also amazing, and has helped me grow as a person not only in my faith, but relationally as well! Heritage is such a positive choice when choosing a Bible College!

Micah Bartsch

My time at Heritage College and Seminary has been very short thus far, however, it has been a huge part of my education and social life. This school focuses on giving you the best education for the world ahead. Preparing you for life, ministry, and teaching. The social community is so close and I feel welcomed. The library is full of amazing resources perfect for academic research, and the faculty is knowledgable and personal. The year goes by so fast and already I am looking forward to next semester.

Giving a 5 star review should always be done with thoughtful, intentional, and serious manner. I do not give this lightly. Heritage College has been a boon to the Christian community. There would be a genuine loss if it were not here. As an academic institution, it is accredited. Trusted for their teaching standards. Is it the most rigorous studies in the world? No. That is actually a good thing. This institution recognizes that there are so many crevices and rabbit trails that could easily overencumber a person. What they do is give the tools to work through the many topics in your own. Heritage teaches more about how to think than it does about how to absorb information and repeat it blindly. There are not classes on Ugaritics, nor are there classes about how to grow a mega-church. The classes they offer are ones that fit theologically soundness and practically engagement. The tools given here will enable people to be life long learners. In terms of the communal aspect, no man (or woman) is an island unto himself (or herself). As a Christian institution, Heritage recognizes that one of the most important commands is to gather together. That may be for a church context specifically, but Christians walking aside one another is a blessing that should be experienced. That alone is worth the price of admission, frankly. The students are friendly and contemplative. The staff are warm, open, and able to work through any topic that is weighing you down. I said that a 5 star review should not come lightly. And I do mean that. Heritage College and Seminary is a wise use of your time. Be it for one year to get theological grounding, for a full-time degree, or anything in between, time is not wasted. Check the school out. They offer samplers often.

Heritage is a fantastic community to be a part of. Although I'm a fairly new student it didn't take long to have this place feel like home. It's amazing to be surrounded by staff and students who care about each other and challenge each other in their faith.

Mark M

A school is only as good as it's faculty, that said this school is fantastic. The professors at Heritage are both pastors and scholars who have concern for both for the shepherd and the flock. The word of God is being taught with academic rigour, hearty passion, and most importantly spiritual backbone. As Prof. Barker often puts it, "Whenever you crack open the book you come face to face with God."

Anne Scott

A great place to learn! It was my first choice in seminaries, and It has far exceeded my expectations!

Ezra Tekleyohans
