Pretty good facility. Our club rents one of the gyms. Only a few ways to improve status. Really get along with the facility maintainance guy.

It was alright at first, but after the students were quite rude and I had to wear long black pants, and a dark green blazer in 30+ degree heat. Also the school is to complicated, I had to carry 4-5 textbooks to each class and most other schools just use technology, it’s way simpler. Also we did nothing for the first half a month just on IXL..

This year is my kid’s last year at WIC :( He started attending at Grade 7. All I can say is he couldn’t have gone to a better school. Thank you WIC for the excellent work. I do highly recommend this school.

The comment regarding race is both untrue and incredibly inappropriate. Our youngest daughter, who is a person of color, attends WIC and I can confirm that the school community has students from diverse backgrounds. Our daughter has never personally felt inadequate or left out. The school has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to bullying, and to be honest, this isn't something that parents I know worry about. We chose WIC because of its reputation, passion for academic excellence and the way in which they make each student feel supported and valued. From our first interviews, right up to today. we've noticed a huge change in our daughter and her approach to her studies. If you're a parent looking to apply West Island College, I would highly recommend that you visit the school and experience the community for yourself. Ask many questions but take online reviews (even mine) with a grain of salt until you see the amazing people and culture for yourself.

Ever since we got the new head of school the school has gone down hill. Like whats with the new uniform policy? No birkenstocks and we have to wear formal uniform almost everyday, those blazers are so warm and very uncomfortable. Most of us bought more then two summer uniform shirts for the 2019-2020 school year to get there and find out we can only wear them 2 days a week for a month.Her new additions to the school are pointless and dumb. We Don't need more glass classrooms that are unsafe for lockdowns. We need updated change rooms or washrooms because they are old and dirty.

Ok. So I’ve gone to this school since grade 7. Let me give you a layout. Academically. THIS SCHOOL ROCKS. Like honestly. This school has amazing teachers and staff. Socially. This place is where I became depressed. It is very cliquey and if you’re unliked, you’re miserable. And sure, there are some nice people if u look. But even then. When you’re being teased and rumours are being spread that everyone will hear because the school is so small, mentally, it destroys you. And how can you do well in school when you go home everyday in tears?
